Ryo watched Sion as he explained and further elaborate on his thoughts and ideals on people being stronger then me and challenges he has faced and will face. Sion with out doubt had drive and determination the sort of drive and Determination that push Ryo to get strong, and still pushes him to keep getting even stronger. However the paths that Sion was on and the one that Ryo was on was like night and day. As Sion's resolve seemed obvious he seemed to overestimate himself yet again. Ryo would smirk a bit however at how cocky Sion was being by thinking he could beat Soul at his current level, it was obvious that Sion had never seen Soul's full power. Soul may have been a good for nothing and had been mopped all over the floor with Ryo but Soul was a wrecker once and could hold his own when pushed. It was then Sion made a second mistake he then thought Ryo doubted his power and could actually stand up against Ryo. " You wont break eh?? " Ryo would say titling his head to the back and to the left a little bit seeming to take the idea that Sion wont break to the literal meaing surely quickly realizing his words got the better of him when saying he couldn't break to a man who broke everything in his path. "Sounds fun~ " Ryo would say his voice seeming to become instead of deeper a bit high pitched and followed with a snicker " Gihehehehe! " With out warning Ryo would jump back giving Sion a few meters of distance, mid jump however Ryo would draw his chainsaw blade. Not starting it just yet Ryo would land still snickering a bit as he set down his sword bag with a thud from all the weight it held. It wasn't quite heavy yet but it had a fair amount of weight to it from all the current swords in it. Holding out his chainsaw for a he would grasp it with both arms before charging at Sion full speed, as soon as he got in range, which with this massive weapon was only a meter Ryo would swing his chainsaw blade as if it was a club toward Sion's ribs, following up if the swing hit or missed Ryo would lean in using the hilt quickly to have 0 delay in his attack to smash the hilt into Sion head. Could Sion actually adapt to not only Ryo's strength and speed but also his unrelenting fighting style unseen and unpredicted? |

Sion planted his feet even wider when Ryo took a step back, and suddenly made a full 180 in attitude. Gone was the relaxed attitude and before him, he suddenly saw the one they called Wildfire. For a second he wondered if he hadn't made the wrong choice. Suddenly, he felt like hitting himself. Even such little seeds of doubt could grow roots that could tear apart the strongest mental walls. He took a deep breath and steeled himself, but not before he dropped the Hollow Blade out of his sword, catching it in his left hand and taking it in a reverse grip. Now, all he could do was wait for Ryo to come at him. Which he did within seconds. His speed really was insane, and Sion could see by the ease with which he wielded the large chainsaw-sword that he could probably bifurcate him with a single well-placed strike. Still, Sion was not going to let himself get discouraged. He was going to show Ryo how he earned all three of his nicknames, Jester, Rogue, and Crow, all in time. First off would be Jester, one that would be very obvious for Sion in a really serious fight. A fight like the one he was having right now. With a grunt he slammed the Hollow Blade's tip between the loose stones on the bridge's surface, holding the Fusion Blade tightly in his right. Within a split second after Ryo got close and swung his chainsaw at him, Sion used the hollow blade as a support to jump up into a handstand and flip over Ryo's head. Once his foot touched Ryo's shoulder, he released the Hollow Blade, and used his opponent and guildmate as a foothold to perform another flip, this time while lashing out at his back with the Fusion Sword, before landing on the ground. He just hoped that Ryo's blow would glance off the Hollow Blade, or at least not bend it too badly. Sion wasn't finished, oh no. Another one of his blades was detached, this time one of the smaller Side Blades, which he took in a similar reverse grip, and whirled around to perform another vicious stab at Ryo's back before following up with an overhead blow with the remainder of the Fusion Sword, a crushing swipe that could devastate a lesser man, but Sion was sure that it would not cause nearly as much damage to the redhead as it would to most. |

As Sion took to action seeming to take this battle quiet seriously from the look on his face and the stance he took, as Ryo's swing honed in on Sion, he would stab one sword into the ground and used it to propel himself upward and then used Ryo's own stout shoulders to flip again off Ryo and attack, however things would not all go as Sion had hoped, Ryo was head strong and reckless but he was the 2nd sword saint and a veteran in Tartaros, this wasn't his first battle or even the first determined foe he had put down. Ryo had pushed on his chainsaw blades hilt to turn his swing to much more and had originally aimed to bash Sion in the face with the end of his hilt but with Sion acrobatic feat things just got ten times worse for Sion. As Sion was mid flip aiming to use another sword to hack at Ryo's back thinking he was open, Ryo was already turning around and almost like a lightning bolt smash to earth Ryo's chainsaw came flying cover Ryo's head aimed dead onto Sion, even if Sion blocked this attack he would end up surely flying a great distance away being in mid air as it was. However Ryo wasn't quite done just yet as his chainsaw smashed with a loud smash that sent bits of the floor of the bridge all about and cracks all around the ground it smashed into Ryo would swing the large chainsaw right back up launching 3 cresent slashes of pure magical energy right at Sion as he flew away. " WARIDAKE! " Ryo would shout as he didn't give him even a moment of rest as surely was already going to make it clear to Sion that Ryo wasn't just some big name in the guild that got lucky once or twist, that Ryo was not only the real deal but a true monster, a true titan of Tartaros. |

Sion's eyes widened as he hung in empty air, only for a second but still more than long enough for Ryo to perform a powerful attack to his airborne adversary. Sion barely had enough time to maneuver his Side Blade to block Ryo's strike, but due to a total lack of foothold, was easily forced back. Even when he released the rest of the Fusion Sword and used his left hand to reinforce the guard too, he was incapable of dispersing the shock in a way that would make his landing even slightly comfortable. Like a human cannon ball he was launched over the opposite side of the bridge, but luckily he was traveling diagonally, in the direction of the other bank, where there was a small public garden, placed there through magic to keep the stone jungle a bit green, so he wasn't slammed head-first into a stone wall. He would have surely ended up in the water if this had been the case, and it would have been the question whether he would still have been conscious. Instead, he was slammed through the thin wooden fence, rolling backwards until he hit a tree with an audible grunt. For a few seconds, all Sion could see was dust, but more sensing than seeing it, he noticed Ryo's magic aimed right for him. He realized how stupid he had been by releasing the remainder of his swords, but it had seemed like the best thing to do at the time... But no time for pondering over past actions! He had no time to dodge, and his Side Blade wasn't strong enough to block an attack of Ryo's level. Doing the only thing he could, he raised his right hand, keeping the Side Blade in the other. Again, white arcs and black smoke traveled down his arm. Torquenti Tactus was his only hope right now, and he just hoped that it would either weaken Ryo's spell enough to prevent lethal damage, or disperse it completely. The dust had started to settle but was thrown up again when the three arcs of energy ripped up the ground. Sion scowled right before the first one struck his arm and hoped for the best. BANG BANG BANG! An expression of relief traveled over his face for a moment when the loud noise of his spell cancelling Ryo's cascaded through the canals, before turning into a grin. It seemed that his magic had overpowered Ryo's, for now at least. Ryo had either been holding back or hadn't completely mastered this spell, either way Sion had managed to stop it. But now that the rush of the moment was over and the dust was settling, Sion felt the dull pain cascading through his skull and torso as the pain of the landing came over him. Still, his heart was pounding, his hands shaking, his breathing heavy... And once the dust had settled, he threw his head back and laughed. It wasn't a sound of ridicule, no, there was nothing mocking about the laugh. It was entertainment, the rush of the battle traversing his body and awakening the darkness within him. Later he would regret it like he always did, it was never nice to have even the slightest bit of insanity awakening inside of him, but whenever it did, it felt good. Once his laughter had died down, his gaze traveled to Ryo again. "Now that... That was power, Ryo! Good! I like that!" he said. What use would it be if he would have to prove himself to a weakling, after all? Without further warning he dashed towards the waterside, jumping through the hole that he had left behind in the fence and managing to grab onto the side of the bridge. Finding foothold on the side of the bridge, he jumped back on, wasting no time to get into the fray. He would storm towards Ryo, and feign a strike with the Side Blade, but would instead slide past Ryo to grab the Fusion Sword where he had dropped it to regain some of his combat possibilities. |

As three loud bangs could be heard, Ryo already knew what had happened. Sion had used some of his magic to defend in some manner against Ryo's waridake blades. As Sion's laugh echoed up to the bridge Ryo would simple just smirk. He had found someone who lasted more then ten seconds against him, that fact alone just had made things interesting. As Sion exclaimed that that was was power, and he liked it and would charge as fast as he could to get back up on the bridge. As Sion got back up on the bridge and stormed at Ryo, Sion had already made a grave mistake, he really thought a mage of Ryo's caliber would just let him up and strike at him with his side blade and make it a simple clash? That was just blatantly cocky. As Sion feigned a strike with his side blade Ryo went to block it with a steady windmill like parry with his chainsaw blade, however as Sion started to slide to his Fusion blade Ryo would aim to send him flying yet again possibly with him with a broken spin as Ryo turned the momentum of his windmill parry into a downward diagonal strike. " Naive! " Ryo would yell as he attacked Sion. Ryo had been in hundreds of battles many of them against mages of all sorts. Since Ryo had entered Tartaros he had clashed with mages from all sorts of guilds namely from Fairy Tail and Blue Pegasus. He had destroyed a guilds mansion and gone toe to toe and didn't lose against a once high standing gravity mage who by all normal means should have been able to wipe the floor with Ryo but didn't. Ryo had gone toe to toe with a top swordsman in Fiore and pushed him to his limits. Thus one could say the only way Sion could have underestimated Ryo more was to try to go toe to toe in a clash with him or to think it would be a simple win as Ryo had yet to even get serious yet. |

Sion let out a soft 'heh' when Ryo swung to parry his strike, but then again, by now Sion had learned that the redhead could swing that dangerous-looking thing of his around faster than Sion would be able to block. Still, the Crow had many possible battle plans for an opponent fast er than him. Just, he hadn't counted on someone this much faster. Just went to show again how many strong people there were in this world, strong people Sion might as well duke it out with to see what makes them so strong. His hand shot out as he ducked underneath Ryo's parry, and he grabbed the Fusion Sword off the ground barely fast enough to block Ryo's attack. The power behind it slammed him down into the ground, and he wrestled his body into a better position to keep up the block. He was now lying flat on his back, his Fusion Sword held up with 2 hands and blocking Ryo's strike with the wide side, so that the edge would not cut his supporting hand. He was definitely in a pinch now, and he would need to find a way to get Ryo off of him, else he'd be dead meat soon. "Think! Think you idiot!" Then he got it. Still lying on the floor he lifted his left foot in the air and kicked at the back of Ryo's knee, then lifted it up to kick him full in the stomach. He would directly follow up with a spell, one that would be hard to dodge for Ryo if he remained on top of Sion. Thanking the gods that this thing could be fired from anywhere and not just his hands like so many mages, Sion roared: "Di Manes!" as the black and white spikes started erupting from the sole of his foot, spreading out in a cone to make it harder to evade. He just hoped this would work. If it would, he would roll to his feet as fast as he could. If it didn't... well, he'd see then. |

Ryo had Sion, he was pressing downward on Sion but not at his full strength, he wasnt a bug or something. Sion was a guild member and crushing a guild member into the pavement just wasn't friendly or nice. Stilling pushing Ryo didn't make any expression as he looked Sion, however Ryo's eyes told of another tale. His eyes were focused and controlled, he wasn't being challenged, he wasn't lost in bloodlust, he wasn't crazed. He was calm and collected, something that could unnerve Sion as he was trapped under this titan of a man. As Sion's foot hit the back of Ryo's leg, he landed a firm kick to behind Ryo's kneecap however this would only aim Ryo to bend one knee for a moment, making his blade slide down a bit on Sion's blade making it harder to do the second kick that Sion wanted to do to Ryo's stomach. However as Di Mane's started to form and Sion casted the spell verbally Ryo stood back up and spun his chainsaw quickly as a shield, however as Ryo stood he was done playing around with Sion and holding back, as he stood he pumped some magical energy into the chainsaw starting it up quickly. Thus as he spun and Di mane's spikes shot in a cone that would normally engulf Ryo, the spikes would be cut! The chainsaw made quick word with its blades cutting thru the magical spikes like they were nothing when backed with Ryo's strength. As Di mane's faded and Sion was given a moment to get up Ryo would not let that moment pass with out being pressed. As Di mane's was defeated Ryo kept spinning his chainsaw for a moment. " WYVERN TWISTER! " Ryo would shout as with out warning a whirl wind of magical energy and fire shot forth around Ryo up into the sky. With the distance between Ryo and Sion before he started his chainsaw and how fast Sion could move before Ryo used this spell he surely would be swept up in the large whirlwind and flug to the skies, only to see the fading image of a Wyvern of flame fading in the sky, a truly beautiful artistic things to see before one plummeted to the ground. |

Sion rolled back onto his feet as soon as Ryo gave him so much as an inch's worth of room, his body coiling up, almost more snake than human. He groaned and momentarily observed when Ryo cut up what Sion often considered his most potent spell -not because of power but because of possibility- like it was nothing. Dammit... What do I do? This guy... Unbelievable...! No! I will not falter! His sword's point, which had dropped slightly as he thought, was raised again. He planted his feet wide. He gritted his teeth. He would prove the extent of his abilities! All of this happened in a mere second, and in that second Ryo had seemingly activated another spell. Sion let out a loud groan as the first gust of superheated wind struck him in the side. If he hadn't been wearing his magically reinforced robes, that would have crushed his ribs, he was sure. Another gust of wind, more powerful, hotter. He could feel a searing pain across the left side of his face. Kamaitachi! The cutting wind was dangerous and he could feel himself getting lifted off the ground as gust after gust of wind cascaded into his body. Swept off his feet, Sion could feel the wind growing in strength as he was lifted higher and higher, and knew that soon, his robes would be useless too... "Shield me, Heimdallr!" he shouted, and for a moment a spark of bloody crimson fire could be seen among the orange. he was now cloaked in his crimson armor, one he disliked to use, but this did seem like a moment of need. Still, the wind continued to break through his armor. First a shoulder pad was torn away, leaving a large gash across his shoulder. It wouldn't be lethal, but DAMN it hurt! Then, one of the gusts cut through his armor around his ribs, sending another lance of burning pain through his nerves and cutting down to the bone, causing him to scream out in pain, but the sound was more angry than pained. He didn't think it had left any real damage on his ribs, but he couldn't be sure. But then in a blinding flash, a fiery orange draconic figure flew up into the blue, fading fast. For a moment Sion was mesmerized by its beauty (there was already too little of that in the world, so he appreciated any and all beauty, no matter what the time or place) until he realized he was plummeting to what would probably be his death. Still, there were so, so many ways his magic would be able to save him from situations like this. As he crashed down like some kind of red meteor, a single magic impulse traveled through him. Corvus Corpus! From every hole created in his armor, crows poured, twelve in total, to circle overhead as the armor crashed down into the canal below. If Ryo looked closely, he'd see that some of the crows were wounded and having trouble to stay in the air. They lowered down to the ground again, to one end of the bridge (as far from Ryo as Sion could get), and as they formed together in a black blur, slowly becoming more humanoid and defined as Sion reformed. He was clutching the wound on his right shoulder with his left hand, and red liquid was seeping through his fingers, and down his left side from the gash he had there. Both his arms were red from the burns, yet his right was still tightly clinching onto the Fusion Sword. His robes had been burned off, and the remains now hung down around his waist. He was practically bare-chested now, with most of his upper body's clothes scorched by the flame, and the left leg of his pants was gone up to his knee. His right was frayed around the ankles, and both his boots were scorched black, and cracked. "Oh... You got me real good there, Ryo... But... I'm not done yet!" he said. He was sweating, and the right half of his face had a nasty burn mark, and a gash running across his cheek, bleeding, but suddenly, all three of his open wounds started glowing white, and before their eyes, began to heal. Like hell he would be done in like this. He was tougher than that. OOC

Sion Ryo would slowly watch the crow's circle above his fading flaming tornado. Ryo would gently smirk as he slowly adjusting his stance to ease the weight of his chainsaw, shifting his stance as the crows gathered a fair distance away. Raising a eyebrow as Sion formed in the black murky magical energies the crows turned into Ryo would start walking forward ever so calmly and slowly as if he was out for a casual walk, ya know one of those walks when your hold a giant chainsaw that is running, totally. As Sion's sounds started to glow and heal Ryo would laugh loudly, in fact he was laugh so much he stopping walking and had just started to stand there laughing almost as loud as his chainsaw for a moment. " Good, thats good, thats really good right d'er " Ryo would tell Sion with a big grin on his face. " Now I can mess ya all up all over again! " Ryo would say just before dashing forward with all his strength and swinging his giant chainsaw at the minimum distance at Sion, following it up purposely swinging at the minimum distance he would do a half round house kick, that lead into a one handed downward strike with his chainsaw. Ryo's onslaught was insane by normal standards, he was swinging around his giant chainsaw almost like it was a normal sword, he only used both hands in a larger swing on top of always having some sort of second or third step to his attacks. A assault unpredictable, a burning power that was almost random at time, random but destructive leaving nothing behind, only blazing forth with out a second thought. Sion could now see why Ryo had been known as a humanoid natural disaster a Wildfire, for everything he did personified the true devastation and unpredictable destruction of a wildfire. |

Sion grinned approvingly when the white glow healed his wounds within moments. His magic was growing stronger, and it was good to see that his body was no different. Yet, where most enemies he met were, at the least frustrated when Sion healed his own wounds, Ryo seemed to enjoy it. Figures, he thought. It's not like I'm a real threat to him anyway. Then he realized that if he had been in Ryo's shoes, his reaction would probably be one and the same. He cursed when Ryo swung his blade at him at such a short distance, one at which Sion would be hard pressed to dodge. Without another word, Sion instead leapt backwards, barely feeling the chainsaw scraping past his stomach and leaving another red line there. Even more pain, but Sion was used to pain by now. He gritted his teeth and focused. His other wounds had been healed, and now this one had began to restore at a rapid pace. But, here Ryo came again, this time with a roundhouse kick. Sion dropped low onto one knee, feeling the air above him being displaced by the powerful attack. But the third of his attacks, an overhead strike, gave Sion an idea, and not to mention, an opening. As he rose from the floor, he lifted his sword up high, one hand on the grip and one on the flat side of the blade. He groaned when he felt the impact of the chainsaw hitting the blade, but instead of pushing with both hands, he only pushed with his right, and let his left relax. The chainsaw sloped down the flat of the large blade as Sion jumped up along with the movement of his rising sword, his right hand grip tightening. Now Ryo was open, or at least he hoped. He feigned a one-hand overhead strike, instead aiming to slam the pommel into his opponent's face, while his left hand moved to his belt to take out his dagger, and sheathe it again in Ryo's gut. Vicious, small, fast. Ryo wasn't the only one who earned his nickname. |
