Do you seriously believe so? Because your impression of left-wing politics is SO skewed it's not even funny. In fact, you should probably re-take all the years of Social Studies, because right now that's almost abysmal. Fascism, nazism, and nationalism are right-wing. So are you a Nazi, or a Fascist? |

I'm eclectic in any and all philosophies. It seems a little naive to point to a single philosophy and say "This is wrong and that is right." Both sides to every argument usually have at least a few good and solid points. |

The thing is that left-wing has the good idea but isn't feasible because humans are assholes. I'm politically neutral for that precise reason; no matter what kind of Utopia we'll end up living in, people will find something to bitch at. You can never make EVERYONE happy. If power wouldn't corrupt, and if people really were all equal, left-winged politics would be the way to go. If we would be able to find a way to make a world with right-wing politics without making a giant poor-rich gap, it would be nice, but because people are assholes, power corrupts, and we just LOVE money, right wing isn't the way to go either. My point is, people are jerks and therefor politics suck because no matter what happens in a discussion about it, one side will basically end up shitting in his hand and tossing it at the other, and then that will be returned by the other side. Same about religion. How sad that this post was only half satirical. Edited by Zen, Apr 30 2012, 01:00 PM.

I don’t suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.

It's incredibly true. People will always be greedy and will want to achieve things and will use any means to get that. So left-wing politics will always fail because of human nature, despite it being an okay idea. People will always think that they are special and that they deserve things others dont. People fail to realize that in the big picture, a single person isn't a big thing. So thats why left-wing economics and politics will fail. Personally, I find myself very right-wing. Not fascism, obvious. But I see my self as a very individualist type of person. I believe that I'm smart enough to run my own life and i dont need any one to do it. I think people are smart enough to know when something is a bad idea and don't need the government to walk them through life. With a smaller government, there is a lesser chance of corruption. Yes, I realize we still need government. I mean if someone is gunna build a road, no one is going to use that road except for the person who built it. Which is why we need a government to do that. But needing government in things like keeping the law or gun control or activities people can do is unnecessary. I believe that if you aren't physically hurting a person in your activity, then you should be free to do it. (Except things like bullying or mental abuse ect.) Also, i dont believe that right-wing economics isnt about others gaining and others arent. In fact, i believe that that notion entirely is idiot to think. It's about giving people the opportunity to have more. Whether it be through hard work or working more or being smart. Why should those who go hard everyday for something they want have to be held back by the incompetent or the unwilling? So basically, I think Right-wing is a good idea. It gives us opportunity and greater rewards for risk taking. But what some people dont realize is that the consequences are also greater. The billionairs in the world? Those people took bigger risks than the everyday joe and now they have a bigger reward. Taking risks is apart of life. The bigger you take, the higher the reward but also higher the fall. "The obvious path is humble, safe but pays the wage of a cook, not a champion." |

i don't believe neither right, or left is completely correct. I put myself somewhere in the middle. In the right wing I do like having governmental leaders who can help make choices for the people. However, on the left I want the people to be able to make the right choices on who should be the leaders, as well as a peer review before some choices are passed. |
