Hey everyone! It's May and you know what that means? Yeah, me neither. There's not a whole lot in terms of major news right now, except for maybe some clarification on some forms of magic like usual. As for a new event? Right now, we're just having the April Event (Bosco Invasion part 3) taking place, which runs into the middle of May. But, one cool new thing that we're introducing this month is SS-Class items. Now you have something to grind and agonize over! Yay, isn't that just lovely? I think so. You can find more info on that in the Equipment and Item Creation section in the rules. That's it for now, folks! If I get anything new to add to this you can guarantee that I will do so. In the words of the immortal douchebag rival, "Smell ya later." Keep on RPing everyone! Kill some Boscans! ~The FTG Staff~ Fairy Tail RPG |

[/center] Another warm, scorching hot day. Though today, the Giant didn't seem to mind it. Usually he would be all aggravated and sweaty, though he seemed to just breeze by today, the wind blowing right in his face with a large grin on his face. Such was the joy of flight on his beautiful flying machine. Flying high in the air, no running, no movement, just letting the wind slap his face as he shot off through the skies, over the meadows and eventually right into Clover Town. Slowly, as he got closer to his destination Diaev decreased the altitude and eventually moved to the ground as he decreased in speed, hopping off of the board before it landed, it turned back into the dogtags he had always held so dear and he put them back on again. With a quick stretch and a yawn, the giant began to walk off, almost oblivious to the small group of people looking at him almost in awe. Diaev then walked through the streets of Clover, today, he had a pretty fun job planned, he was going to totally annihilate a building for some chump. Destroying things for money? The best job, ever! Diaev had some idea of where this building was, so he started moving towards it. The guy said he was building a new house ontop of it, so he should have been staying in his 'old' house until somebody came and did the job for him. This should have been a very fast job, so Diaev walked and had a little think on how he should have destroyed the house. Maybe his rocket launcher spell? No, maybe his Demon Spear one, but that one often made him go nuts in the skull afterwards. Maybe he could use his grenades, oh, oh! Maybe he could just punch it down! Sure, it would take a long time, but eventually he was sure he could do it, he just had to keep at it, right? The usual pessimist Diaev walked up to the front door of the run down and heavily damaged house and knocked on the front door, though as lightly as he could. He didn't want to punch through it entirely. Then he stood back, folded his arms and waited. |

As Diaev knocked on the door, he would get no answer at first, and after a minute or so, it seemed as if no on was comming. But as things seemed too quiet, Diaev would soon hear the sound of footsteps, and creeking wood as someone could be heard comming down the steps of the two story home. "Just a minuteeeeeeeeeee!" Came the voice of an old man as suddenly Diaev would hear the sound of something tumbling towards the door. As if on cue the front door sprung open, and out rolled a rather old man, in a purple robe. The man came to a sudden stop as he rolled right into the Giants legs. "Owww damn steps! Can't wait to tear this wooden whore down, and build a proper house!" The man said as he slowly say up, rubbing his back as he tried to ease the ache's and pains he was having. "Hmm? You must be the mage who answered my request?" He asked curious as to who the tall young man in front of him was. If he was the mage then all was fine, if he wasn't, then why the hell was he here?! He better had not been a door, to door salesman! The old man had kicked enough ass today without having to tangle with this giant. |

Diaev let out a sigh and crossed his arms as he waited. Should he just destroy the house now, have an ice cream and relax in some parlour all day. Or should he just stand there and wait, looking like a total moron until either some guy related to the job came about. Diaev didn't feel like getting chase down again for killing someone who was still in the house, so he took out a cigarette and lit it, take a drag. All of a sudden, he heard some foot steps and rolled his eyes. He held in the drag, but after about a minute he puffed it out, he was planning to smack the old guy in the face with a nice wad of nicotine. However, he opened the door about a moment after and Diaev raised an eyebrow at the old man as he slammed right into Diaev's legs. The giant being largely unaffected, after all, a man of his stature could hardly be affected by anything. Diaev didn't bother to help the old man up, he got up himself eventually and Diaev just took another puff of cigarette. He then almost blindly made the most obvious state possible. "Of course I am." Diaev said, staring the man down. "I expect this job done in under an hour, so tell me what you want." Diaev ordered, not moving at all. His arms still crossed, keeping it balanced in between his lips as he blew on it on occassion. Hopefully this old man would just tell him and they could get this all over with. "Though, I need to look around the place first, I need to know where to hit." With that, Diaev pushed straight in, an almost gruff expression on his face. |

The old man looked up at Diaev with a confused expression. So this is who they sent, sure he was tall, and scary looking, but you couldn't scare a house. Into falling, it just didn't happen. Or maybe that was his magic? "Woah! Woah! Sonny. You won't just be blowing up the house...you have to get my furniture out first. You know how expensive this stuff is? I won't just have you turn it into rubble." The man said as he was shoved aside by Diaev. He let out a loud groan as he wanted to hit the guy over the head with something. But he had no desire to die just yet, at least not until his new house was built. He followed Diaev into the house, making sure the man didn't steal anything. "So do you think you can bring it down yourself? Or will we need more mages? I'm sure no one D-Rank mage could do this alone, no matter how big." He said, his tone condensinging as he walked with the tall man, staring at his amazing stature. Wow the guilds grew them big these days. |

Diaev looked at the old man, malice in his eyes. He had to MOVE stuff? MOVE STUFF?! He was here to simply to demolish a house and maybe clean some ruins up, but moving stuff? That was not his job here. This was bullshit, a mockery to Diaev. He would have to make this old guy pay more, and he'd do it the dark mage way if he had to. Diaev stared the old man down again, a dark look on his face, one that said 'I don't drop no spaghetti, bitch', and slowly, ever so slowly, Diaev began to walk up to the old man and put a hand on his shoulder. Diaev's grip was loose at first, but his metal arm slowly contracted around, tightening until he was finally caught in the Iron Giant's claw. Then, in a thick, rough tone Diaev began to speak. "That's not the stuff I'm meant to do old man...I'm only here to demolish a house, I'm not a moving man..." The Giant paused and let go. "You didn't label moving on the request, so unless you pay extra I'm gonna blow this house to smithereens right now, understand?!" Diaev let go, giving the old man a slight shove and he turned around. He should have practically extorted the old man now, so he waited for his reply. |

As Diaev tightened his grip the old man seemed to freeze in his place. Was Diaev going to hurt him for making an extra request? No, he couldn't, even if he did seem to have a short temper. "You're a mage! Your job is to do what I ask you. Sometimes the details of a mission could change, and you have to be prepared. I'm going to ready you for that. So move my furniture outside now! Or else I report to you're guild that you don't follow orders." The old man threatened as he gave Diaev a serious look as if he was going to report the boy for real. In truth the old man didn't even know what guild the boy was from, so reporting him would have been next to impossible. "But if you want to be paid extra....I guess we can work SOMETHING out. But before we talk extra money, I have to see what you can do first. So get to work youngster." He ordered, figuring he was the one who posted the mission, so he was the boss. If Diaev had a problem with that, then they would just have to deal with it wouldn't they? |

Diaev stood there for a moment. He tried it all. All of the exercises, counting to ten, going to his happy place...trying to ignore the thoughts of anger that were slowly engulfing his body, his spirit itself. Though he tried to persevere, to hold in the full brunt of his anger, it was just too much. What the old man had just said had ticked him off. There was no way he was going to escape the torrent of explosive verbal abuse that came with a pissed off a Diaev. Many had seen it, though people who were dumb enough to push it further? They never saw it ever again, if this old guy was a dumb person, regardless of his age, he was going to die. "Look you decrepit old fuck." Diaev started, turning around and looking at his client. "It doesn't work that way, if it did you could ask me to go to the great grand general of Fiore and take a dump on his front yard. Hell, you could even make me do things I couldn't speak about. Though sadly, it doesn't. You made a contract when you signed the request you aged piece of shit! So either you pay up for me having to move all of your shit, or I swear to god I'll just demolish the house with you in it, understand?!" |

The old man watched as Diaev seemed to be off in his own world. He had no idea that the young man was trying to calm himself from killing the old fart. The man sighed as he saw what was about to come. He was going to yell, and say some threatening things. Such where the ways of young people. He listened quietly as Diaev gave his order, the man not even blinking as the mage seemed to lay down the law. But what Diaev didn't understand, was that the client was never wrong. "Oh so you're going to kill me? Go ahead, I have lived a good life, but before that, can you just give an old man one final request?" He said as he walked over to Diaev, pulling out a stick as he looked up at the mage, with want in his eyes. The old man suddenly jumped up, hitting Diaev across the head with the stick. He started to walk off after his action, feeling quite proud of himself. "You want the extra money you got it. Just move my stuff outside, and you will be paid extra. Does that satisfy you boy?" He asked as he began to head upstairs. "Don't worry I just need all of the stuff down here removed, the couch, my expensive dishes, things of that nature. Just be careful boy! If you break it, it comes out of you're pay!" Edit by Snow: Removed the lead pipe as was pointed out by Dave, since you (Renji) basically performed an auto-hit with a lead pipe which would KO Diaev. No auto-hitting, especially with lead pipes. Edited by Snow, May 7 2012, 11:47 AM.

Diaev just looked at the old man as he slapped Diaev with his stick. The large man took the hit with a slight flinch and a sharp pain ran through the side of his head momentarily, but other than that? He was fine. Dandy. Perfecto. Diaev watched as the old man went upstairs. It wasn't going to come out of his pay, and if it was? He was going to slaughter that old man. It wouldn't be a half assed job, this would be a true kill. He would make sure that old bastard writhed in pain before Diaev finished him. Though, his own grumbling and moodiness aside, Diaev let out a sigh. Cracking his knuckle, but not his automail one in case he broke it, he walked up to the couch first. The house was gonna be wrecked anyway, so he decided to do something that would make his job a tiny bit easier. Diaev walked up to the window and covered his eyes with his arm, punching it in with his automail. Then, he took his knife and scraped the glass off of the frame of the window. After putting his knife away, he took off the massive sword from his back and began to hack and smash the wall under the window. He was making a runway so he could push the stuff out without having to go around the door and so on. Then he re-equipped himself and started to push the couch out of the house, pushing it a good distance from the house. OOC: I was more concerned with the fact his stick became a lead pipe than the fact it would have KO'd me in one hit. Whatever though. |

As the old man went upstairs to finish the last of his packing, he had no idea that Diaev was preparing to get a jump start on destroying the house. He jumped slightly as he heard the glass break, sighing a bit to himself. "Damn kids, keep throwing balls through my window." But the man would jump again as a loud boom was heard, then a series of them. "What is that idiot down there doing?" He said as he rushed out of his room, only to go down stairs to see Diaev pushing his furniture outside. "What are you doing?! This house is to old! The fact that you just took out a wall makes this place completely unstable! Can you wait until I'm out of here before you knock down anymore of it?!?!" He yelled as he stared in disbelief at the giant hole the mage had created in his wall. Well one thing was for sure, he wouldn't have any problems knocking down the rest of the house once he got started. |
