Hey everyone! It's May and you know what that means? Yeah, me neither. There's not a whole lot in terms of major news right now, except for maybe some clarification on some forms of magic like usual. As for a new event? Right now, we're just having the April Event (Bosco Invasion part 3) taking place, which runs into the middle of May. But, one cool new thing that we're introducing this month is SS-Class items. Now you have something to grind and agonize over! Yay, isn't that just lovely? I think so. You can find more info on that in the Equipment and Item Creation section in the rules. That's it for now, folks! If I get anything new to add to this you can guarantee that I will do so. In the words of the immortal douchebag rival, "Smell ya later." Keep on RPing everyone! Kill some Boscans! ~The FTG Staff~ Fairy Tail RPG |

Mission: Kitty... Kitty? Kitty! Participants: Daisuke Kanzaki Noel Aramis Larkin Falzo Note: This topic will only count as a mission topic for Daisuke, while it will be a normal Storyline thread for Noel and Larkin. It was yet another one of those warm, sunny days. The sun was shining brightly outside, and the birds were chirping and singing their melodic songs, while the kids were playing out one the streets. It was only nine in the morning, but the streets were already filled with people, who were going around on their chores. The merchants stood behind their stands, from which amazing scents were lifting up into the air and filling the noses of the people who passed. Some of them couldn't help it, and stopped at the stands to buy themselves something to eat on their way to work. The air was filled with lively chatter, the kind of which stuffed Noel's heart with excitement and glee, as he walked through the streets of Magnolia. It was good to be here. "It's really nice, isn't it?" Noel said cheerfully, glancing sideways at the red-haired kid, who was walking next to him, holding his hand so that they wouldn't get separated in the crowd. Each of them were holding a hotdog in their free hand, and were slowly munching on it as they walked. Noel had bought them just earlier at one of the stands outside, as they didn't have breakfast in the morning before they left the house. Now, they were walking down the main street of Magnolia towards the northern part of the town, where they could already see a large building hovering above the rest of the smaller ones around. It was of course Fairy Tail, their guild, and the two mages were now headed towards it. They had woken up rather early today morning, as the sun had already started shining through the window on the bed they were sleeping on. After getting up and dressing into their usual attire, Noel had reminded Daisuke of what they'd talked about yesterday after completing the mission. "We're going to do another mission today, remember, Dai-kun?" he'd told him. "So, let's get ready and head for the guild, shall we? We can have breakfast on their way there." And with that, the two had left Noel's mansion, and headed towards the Fairy Tail guild. The previous mission was a total success, and Noel didn't doubt that Daisuke was going to do just as well today. Alayna had said the kid had potential, and Noel didn't need to look at him twice to know that. Taking another bite of the hotdog in his hand, Noel glanced over at the kid once again. "You're not still tired from yesterday, right..?" he asked, "Going on missions is good to get some experience and to see how missions work, but it's good that you're fit and rested when you do them," he told the other boy. He didn't think Daisuke was tired from yesterday, since they had a long night's sleep, but it was still polite to ask. Just about then, the two of them would find themselves reaching the end of the road, and the enormous Fairy Tail building stood in front of them, stretching above their heads. "Well, here we are," Noel said as he led Daisuke to the main doors, putting his free hand on them and pushing them open with ease. "I'm sure Alayna will be happy to see you," Noel giggled, and the two entered the guild. |

Nice weather this morning as the birds were tweeting here and there and peaceful town people walking about. Along the streets held many shops owned by merchants of the town selling various kinds of thing. One of which Noel had brought Daisuke to, a food shop. They missed their morning breakfast at home because Noel wanted to go out early to avoid the big crowd probably. Daisuke as usual, kind of resist waking up in the morning wobbling here and there on the bed. Eventually, Dai had to get up and then had a hot dog for breakfast. Since one of his hands were held by Noel, he didn't worry about dozing off so he's stance of walking was a bit odd but cute in a way. Even when Noel inquired whether if its nice in this early morning. Daisuke was giving a half dead look while walking and not looking at Noel. He would try to even give a nod but somehow, not interested. He gave the hot dog a bite every two to four minutes after walking. He could use a ride. He doesn't feel at ease and for some reason had the urge to take a bath in ice cold water along the river and sleep there. Finally when Noel asked if Daisuke was sleepy from yesterday, Daisuke gave a response. He simply shook his head denying it. He was only sleepy because he had to wake up early in the morning. He bumped into Noel a few times while walking unsteadily. He managed to finish the hot dog in his hands so it wasn't wasted. Heck, Dai wasn't even giving close attention to what Noel said but just gave a nod ignoring the 'bla bla bla' in his head. |

...And I win!! The other guy laid there, panting heavily, as Larkin raised his arms in the air, victorious. He had just won three arm-wrestling matches in a row, and the guildmates were all watching, betting on who would win. Some were happy, others had just lost some cash, but all and all, this was pretty fun. Larkin was enjoying himself, something that didn't happen for quite some time. Recently, it's been mission after mission after jobs after tasks after rescues. There has not been a dull moment in his life and today, he just felt as if the world wasn't such a bad place to live in, and that he could enjoy it as much as he could. However, there was some dark clouds in his mind. First off, he had not seen Nana in months. His string of missions, coupled with his absences, caused a rift in their relationship. Second, his teammates, Noel and Alastor... He had not seen them in a while. All the crazy adventures he had made it difficult for him to see them. As if the Universe (or God, or the Machine, take your pick) listened to his silent whispers, the Guild's main entrance doors opened, revealing the youngest member of Team Adamant Soul: Noel Aramis. With him was another member he didn't know about, but probably was someone Noel had taken under his wing. As he got inside, Larkin jumped, grabbed Noel's head and locked it under his left arm. Then, he started rustling his hair with his right hand, in an older brotherly fashion. It had been too long since the two had seen each other and, considering the fact that they started out their days doing everything together, it had been quite a while. When he finished goofing off with Noel, he looked at the other guy with whom Noel had come with. He was a kid, around nine-ten years old. He seemed slightly sleepy, which meant Noel had taken him away from the land of dreams. Chuckling to himself, Larkin approached him. It was funny because Larkin was practically twice his age, yet he could feel that this kid was strong, at least for his age. He reminded him of Noel in some ways, so he put his hand forward so he could shake his hand. Hi! My name is Larkin Falzo! |

The door to the guild opened, and the moment Noel set foot into the familiar guild hall, he was suddenly ambushed by none other than his teammate, Larkin Falzo. In the split second, the young Mind-mage was grabbed under his arm, letting out a soft "N-Nyaaah..!" and closing his eyes tightly as his friend gave him a noogie. Once that little greeting was done Noel was released, though the corners of his mouth had immediately been pulled into a cheeky grin, as he jumped up to hug Larkin, wrapping his arms around his chest and pulling him in for an almost spine-cracking hug. "Laaarkin!!!!" he yelped in happiness and excitement, finally releasing his teammate and stepping back to get a good look at his older friend, who he'd always looked up to. The young Ex-equip mage hadn't changed a lot since the last time he'd seen him, but despite that, Noel felt like he'd gotten even more awesome in the past couple of weeks. He could feel the other's magical strength had risen absurdly once again, most probably due to his extensive training and the harsh missions he'd been going on. Noel admired him for his courage, and he could practically feel his self-confidence and determination, something that the young Mind mage still hadn't gotten a full grasp of. That was why he saw his teammate like a role model, someone that he wanted to be like, and he had been struggling and training himself in order to become as cool as Larkin was. And now, he was here, the second of the famous Adamant Soul members, the justful Larkin Falzo and Noel's dear friend, who was almost like a bigger brother to him. "Larkin, Larkin..! So much has happened in the past few weeks..!" the boy chirped excitedly, feeling his heartbeat increase with all the excitement of wanting to tell his teammate about everything that had happened. But that would have to wait for a little bit; first came the introductions, and Noel remembered Larkin hadn't had a chance to meet his younger friend Daisuke just yet. Chuckling a bit as he saw the older teen approach the smaller kid, Noel put his hand on Daisuke's bushy red hair and ruffled them a little bit. "Larkin, that's Daisuke Kanzaki, my friend. He's joined Fairy Tail quite recently, and I've helped him by supervising him on his first few missions. He's staying at my place for now, since he doesn't have his home," he told the Ex-equip mage, before glancing down at Daisuke, and telling him: "And that's Larkin Falzo, my teammate. Alongside with another Fairy Tail mage Alastor, the three of us form a team, Adamant Soul. I don't think I've told you about that yet.." Noel said embarrassedly, scratching the back of his head. "Anyway, Larkin is an Ex-equip mage, and he's got so many cool weapons in store..! We've gone on a lot of missions together, and without him, I don't think I would've made it," Noel said, chuckling. Then, his expression changed to an excited one once again, as he turned to Larkin, saying: "Oh, oh..! Show him one of your coolest weapons..!" |

Upon entering, a flash as though some swift cat had been trying to escape the guild came at the two. However, it- no, more like 'he' was just another one of those guild members seen around of course if your not ignoring those at the back ground and back stage haha. This person came up to Noel, performing a neck lock at soon made appearance. Noel was being treated like a kid oh wait, he is, isn't he? A good noogie, ouch, was done unto Noel's head ruffling he's fluffy hair around. Daisuke could not help but to stare at the awkward moment he had to see the moment he entered the guild as though the guild wasn't weird enough but Dai has no idea what await him as even more weirder people actually lies in this guild cough cough probably. From the way Noel had screamed out the name, it tells Dai the fact that this older person was Larkin and just Larkin for now. Noel was soon freed from Larkin's captivity. They somehow got into their own persoanal issues, especially Noel the somehow noisy one, just kidding... kind of. Daisuke was left in amidst of these two's conversation, he felt like he should move his position from the doors to at least let the other people pass through and stay safe from these crazy duo. Daisuke managed to make a few steps aside before Noel caught him, patting the head and ruffling Daisuke not so called bushy hair. Then came the introduction between these guild members. Daisuke was introduced first but by Noel (Note: I don't recall Noel finding out he's first name. Actually, he was only introduced as Kan Dai to start off with. But I forgotten bout the Dai part ==") Dai wasn't that good with words yet so he was curious of what 'supervising' meant. Noel's last phrase slightly changed he's expression but he remained looking calm, cute and fluffy. "Nice cha' meet chu'" Daisuke did a small bow in respect. Lifting he's head was slightly hard since Noel's hand was there. Next came a quick introduction of Larkin by Noel as well. Finally, Noel had revealed about being in a team called Adamant Soul. Larkin was simply one of his teammates alongside with another one called Alastor which is nowhere to be seen for now. "Heh..." Dai made it sound like something amazing yet not a very big deal to make out of. "Adamant Soul...? Means?" Daisuke was slightly expecting some sort of reason why their team had such a name but it didn't matter to him if there isn't. Either way, Larkin is said to be an Ex-Quip mage, something Daisuke was unsure of. "Ex-Quip?" Daisuke inquired stating the fact that he has lots more to learn. Daisuke had an idea of Larkin being a mercenary from the word 'store' so assuming the fact Noel's weapon, what ever it is if he has one, is made by Larkin as well. "Coolest weapon?" Daisuke sounds excited now since it sounds interesting or maybe just the word 'coolest' was added into it. "What is it?" He couldn't wait to see it. |

After Larkin gave Noel a noogie, the younger mage was overcome by tremendous joy and jumped on the mage, with a bone-crushing hug. The mage slightly winced in pain at the hug, but chuckled at this. Again, this boy had gotten stronger, but to Larkin’s surprise, the strength wasn’t all that different than the last time they met. Which meant the boy was slowing down in his progress, which slightly saddened him. Oh well, I can’t expect him to go through all the crazy stuff I go through… The mage shook his head, smacked each side of his face and put himself back to reality. Nowadays, he had a bad habit of going on and on in his mind, which sometimes caused him to lose focus. In any case, Larkin remembered that Noel had come inside the guild with another person. A small child was standing next to him, with his unkempt red hair. He was very young, younger than even Eric Bashere, the dark mage from Grimoire Heart. As stated previously, everything about the kid reminded him of Noel when they first came to Fairy Tail, two years ago. He seemed slightly shy, seemed to have some good magical potential and also resembled him. However, Noel seemed a little more… focused in the now. Noel introduced the kid as Daisuke. Shaking his hand, Larkin watched as Noel got into one of his excited fits, wanting to tell him everything that happened to him since the last time they had seen each other. It had been weeks, but it seemed like an eternity, with the amount of things both of them experienced. Indeed, these past few weeks had made Larkin stronger, but it also made him aware of the number of powerful people around Fiore. Aiden had gotten scary strong and the number two Sword Saint, Hasaki Ryo, was not someone he could win while going easy. Nevertheless, all those experiences were part of his growth and it seemed to radiate from his body, something Noel picked up practically immediately. Also, this new growth made his darkness shrink in power, which was much better for him. After all, how would he ever face Noel if he attempted to kill someone like the time they were in that Hunter mission? The Fairy Tail member never forgot this and always did his best to gain control of his own soul. In any case, after the introductions were done, Noel told Daisuke what kind of magic Larkin possessed and both were eager to see him show off his weapon. In fact, Noel wanted him to show Daisuke his coolest sword. At the word “coolest”, the ten-year old kid’s eyes lit up, enthusiasm overflowing through his body. Larkin scratched the back of his head and let out an embarrassed laugh. He knew he was strong and was always grateful other people recognized that strength, but people that admired his power, like Noel or Daisuke right now, made him slightly nervous. Nevertheless, Larkin was going to comply. Alright then. I’ll show you my coolest sword yet, Shadow☆Star!! Larkin extended his right arm and a darkish glowing light appeared near his palm. In a split second, the light vanished, revealing a dark-greyish katana. Larkin twirled around, showing off his extreme control of his sword to his comrades. As he did so, Noel and even Daisuke could feel the power of the sword. The mage was very proud of that blade; it was thanks to Shadow☆Star that he was able to defeat Xigbar and a whole lot of tough guys. |

A bright light shone around Larkin's hand as he utilized his magical power to pull one of his strongest, if not the strongest weapon out of his pocket dimension, displaying it to the duo. Noel's eyes widened at the appearance of his friend's finest weapon, and he was sure that Daisuke would glance at it with an amazed stare as well. How wouldn't he after all, for the dark katana was truly a marvellous piece, its hidden power like a sleeping serpent that was aching to wake up so it could show them its true power. "W-woah.." Noel cooed quietly, his emerald green eyes wide with awe as he looked from the dark weapon to his partner with respect. He hadn't had a chance to see the powerful weapon yet, mainly because it had been a while since the last time he'd seen Larkin. Much like himself, his teammate was training every day, and the results of it were beginning to show. The money he'd been able to make from the various missions he'd taken in that time, was used wisely to buy new, stronger weapons, like the one he was holding in his hands now. And what a good investment that was. "T-That weapon is amazing.." the boy breathed; and he wasn't the only one awed by it. The rest of the guild had almost fallen silent at the display of their B-Class mage's power, watching the strong weapon in his hands as he turned it around for Noel and Daisuke to see a bit better. "Yup, that's Larkin Falzo, another one of our bright young mages," Alayna said into the silence of the guild hall, smiling at them from behind the counter where she was cleaning off dirty mugs like she usually did when she was at work. A few moments later, the chit-chat in the room picked up again, and the three boys were again left to their own conversation. Noel was exhilarated by his teammate's power. "I.. I'd never have thought you'd gotten this powerful so soon, Larkin-nii..! You're so awesome..!" he yelped, giggling a bit as he brought his head closer to the shimmering blade, inspecting it closeby. Once he was done with his little inspection, the boy stood up straight again, now patting Daisuke's head as he said: "Anyways, it's been a while since the last time I've seen you, but I've actually come to the guild to help this young lad to select a mission and accompany him on it," he told him with a smile. Then, his eyes suddenly widened, and he looked from the red-haired ten year old up to the Ex-equip mage, and then back again. "H-Hey, wait a minute.. Say, Larkin, do you have some free time? Perhaps you could go with us..! That way, we can catch up on all the stuff we've missed," he said with a smile, before looking sideways at the young boy standing next to him. "That is, if Dai-kun doesn't mind, of course," he quickly added, glancing at him quickly to see what he was going to say on that. He doubted the boy would have anything against it, though, and he was already getting all giddy just thinking about the fun time they were going to have. Too bad Alastor wasn't here, he really missed him. It had been a while since Adamant Soul had assembled for the last time, and Noel felt a little bad about it. Surely, a part of it was his own fault for going on missions all the time and not coming to guild as often as he once had. Perhaps, it would've been better if all three of them had gone on missions together.. That's why they were a team, right? |

Larkin took his position and Daisuke was prepared to be amazed as a strong aura made its presence. A large sum of magical energy savage throughout Larkin's body. Glittery light glowing about from the magic circle and it was finally appearing. Daisuke gave his attention real attention onto Larkin's every move but he obviously won't be learning anything though. Finally, a black solid weapon emerged from thin air. It was a long sword or in other name, a katana. Larkin indeed proven his control over the weapon by holding it firmly and swung it around carefully leaving those tiny little flame like aura magic particle to slowly turn transparent. However, the power flowing through the blade was still amazing. Such weapon, where could it even be attained? It sure did seem to require lots of effort and materials to make such dark solid weapon. "Uwaaa..." Daisuke awed in amazement of its breathe taking features. This also took the attentions of those around at Larkin. It was really a sight to behold somehow and to think such a noisy guild could suddenly switched. Alayna took the opportunity of the silence to introduce Larkin to the whole guild while standing from afar. Alayna did mention that Larkin was actually a young mage as well but with such power. It kind of made Dai wondered if he would be able to do the same despite the fact that he's age still may be quite a gap from Noel or Larkin and most of the guild members. It also gave him an image that the older one gets, the more greater they are but that's probably false and easily proven but Daisuke hasn't been told yet. Not long after, the guild was catching up in its volume and was once again the usual noisy cheerful bunch. Daisuke could find much words to say especially to someone he just met but Noel continued the conversation with ease. Noel kept praising Larkin as to how stronger he have become over the time and so on so forth. Daisuke wasn't sure of what much he could do standing there but he did remember about something. It was the reason why they are here in the guild once again on his very third day. It was time to take up his second mission as the first was a success and also another step to a class change. Dai was excited bout that that his previously tired self slowly dissipate. He expected Noel to probably ask him to choose a mission like last time and since he had gone to the mission board once before, he could at least tell which part would be suited for him. He was about to make a step ahead before being patted on the head by Noel. Daisuke couldn't move and he didn't want to interrupt Noel's conversation with Larkin so he simply gave Noel a hug at his leg while staring at Noel face from below. His eyes widened when Noel suddenly suggested that Larkin join in with he's mission. Well having another accompany was fine but Daisuke still isn't very close to Larkin yet but still, it was one of Noel's close friend as well as teammate so Dai felt like it would be rude to actually exclude him from him. He did want Noel to have fun too, unsure if he was when he was with Dai. Daisuke glanced over to Larkin and then to the lower ground where some guild members were playing around. Then, looking back to Noel, Daisuke gave a small nod "Mhm" One way or another, Dai figured it would be fine since he was an adult in a way so its not like anything bad would happen right? Daisuke was still interested in taking up his next mission so he just wanted to get it started. "Mh mh" He tugged onto Noel's pants, not downwards of course, while with the other hand pointed at the mission board not far from where they stood but closer to the counter bar. |

As the energy swelled in his hand and instantly changed to his dark katana, Larkin let out a small sigh. Sure, the fact that he could change weapons almost instantly and with scary speed was almost second nature to him, but this weapon was a wild child. It was powerful and dark in nature, making it hard on the body and soul to take it out. Nonetheless, it didn't trigger his darkness and was tremendously instrumental in many of Larkin's recent victory. In any case, when the katana appeared from thin air in front of the mage's palm, Larkin grabbed it and twirled it around. He liked how weightless it was, how maneuverable. The steel was ten times more sturdy and powerful than his two other katanas, and yet it still retained such grace and beauty. Unbeknownst to him, he had begun to walk the path of the swordsman, much more than that of the mage, and he has even begun to see the beauty of the steel. Anyways, as he showed his new weapon, everyone, and I mean, EVERYONE in the guild hall at the present moment was watching with awe, amazement and intriguement the new blade brought for by the young adult. It took a few seconds for Larkin to notice the attention that was around him. Looking around, he scratched the back of his head and laughed embarrassingly, but he was happy his peers were recognizing the hard work he was going through. The Alayna started to speak, cleaning some dishes as she usually did. She praised him as another one of the guild's "bright young mages". He smiled at her and got back to looking at Noel and Daisuke. They were... even more ecstatic than the rest, like kids who had just gotten a hold of a mine of candies that never expires. The mage tried to retain a laugh, but it was getting hard with the faces they were making. Noel then said that he had come to help Daisuke with a mission, a D one to be more exact. Ah, the days of the D... It seemed like a lifetime ever since that happened, something that was like a dream in his mind. The Fairy Tail mage remembered the best D mission he had done with Noel, the one where they had to babysit a bunch of kids with magical abilities for a whole day at an orphanage. I wonder how these kids are doing... It has been two years since I've seen them... Noel looked at Larkin as he was thinking and suddenly an idea seemed to flash through his mind. He suggested that Larkin join them on the mission as supervisors. The mage immediately accepted, For some reason, helping new members of Fairy Tail was something he enjoyed. In fact, he decided that he would start fighting some of the newer strong members, to see in which state the power of the guild was. Daisuke didn't seem to mind and pointed at a direction. Alright then, let's choose a mission!! He went to the mission board. It seemed that Alayna didn't have time to actually clean up the board and seperate the job requests into their respective classes, because they were all mixed up together. The Ds with As, the Bs with the Cs... The only class that wasn't present was S. So you absolutely need to be an S-Class mage to even see one, huh... Larkin couldn't wait to become A-Class and participate in the S-Class Trial. Anyways, he looked around the board and picked a random amount of D-Class jobs. He then turned around and faced Daisuke. So... which one do you prefer out of these, Daisuke? |

"Yaaay, Larkin-nii is coming with us..!!" Noel exclaimed excitedly, giving a brief hug to the young Ex-equip mage, before releasing him with a wide grin plastered across his face. He extended his hand towards Daisuke, so that the red-haired Fairy Tail mage could grab his hand and walk with him across the guild hall towards the mission board. Larkin might find that a bit odd, since it wasn't like the mission board was so far away, or that Daisuke needed guidance to it - after all, the three could see it from this part of the guild hall. But he'd probably realize all of that was just a routine for the two of them; it wasn't unusual for Noel to walk hand in hand with Daisuke down the main street of Magnolia as they made their way from his home to the guild. It was a small gesture of their friendship and Noel's care and attachment to the younger boy, who he'd taken under his wing in the past few weeks after he'd moved in with him to the mansion Noel was living in, and because of that it was not strange that Noel was sticking close to Daisuke pretty much all the time. Or vice-versa. Once the three had reached the mission board, Noel's eyes skimmed it quickly. He wasn't looking at the rewards as much as he was looking the class qualifiers in the upper right corners of the mission requests. Ranging from D to A, Noel had much like Larkin soon realized there were no S-class requests posted up on the board. What a shame, for he was really looking forward to checking out some of them, to see just what kind of dangers would await a mage on such a mission. Was it saving a town from a powerful dark wizard..? Was it protecting a princess of Fiore during a royal ball.. (and maybe get a kiss from her at the end as a reward)? Or did it perhaps include fighting dragons..? Noel felt all giddy just thinking about all these possibilities. They sounded like epic stories about awesome adventures that he read about in books when he was still a kid. To be a part of one of such adventures were his dreams, and he'd been pursuing them ever since he'd joined the guild a little less than two years ago. And so, he was slowly nearing these dreams, every day being one step closer to their realization, which was something that filled his heart with happiness and pride of what he'd achieved so far. He knew Larkin was proud of him, too. Glancing over at the stack of requests that Larkin was holding in his hands, Noel leaned over to see what they were. The first one which was on the top, had already caught his attention after he'd read over it quickly. "Hey, what do you think about this one?" Noel asked, pointing at the request so that Daisuke would be able to see which one he meant. The request read:
"So.. what do you say about this one, Daisuke?" Noel asked with a grin, looking at the kid. "Are you up for it?" |
