It's May and you know what that means? Yeah, me neither. There's not a whole lot in terms of major news right now, except for maybe some clarification on some forms of magic like usual. As for a new event? Right now, we're just having the April Event (Bosco Invasion part 3) taking place, which runs into the middle of May. But, one cool new thing that we're introducing this month is SS-Class items. Now you have something to grind and agonize over! Yay, isn't that just lovely? I think so. You can find more info on that in the Equipment and Item Creation section in the rules. That's it for now, folks! If I get anything new to add to this you can guarantee that I will do so. The most striking feature is the mask on his face which he hides away constantly. The face is alluring as most bishonen faces are. Manly with a touch of femininity. This means that while you can tell that Taka is male from his face, he has smooth edges to his face. He doesn't have a chisled jaw line, but instead Taka's face is quite bland. What makes up the bishonen appearance is the ability to sparkle and create flowers that bloom around his head as he smiles and gives a wink. Taka has short spiked brown hair. He spikes it to the front where the clumps of hair stick out over his face. He has longish hair on the side of his head which he pushes further and they matt outwards. The hair on Taka's head at the back base portion is longer and is spiked as well as it goes down to his shoulder in a tip shape. Taka has a lean and fit body able to fit into his tight clothing. When one manages to strip Taka bear naked, one would fine defined muscles that don't ripple outwards, but more are just there. One can see Taka's muscles, but they are quite compact as they do not bulge outwards forcing Taka to wear larger clothing. Instead this gives people the impression that Taka is scrawnny as he has a thin form. That comes to a surprise to others as he is able to perform well the same as others despite the misconception others have of him. One important feature that Taka maintains is his bishonen skin. It is the male equivalent of the prized porcelian female skin. The bishonen skin means that Taka has a fair almost white unblemished skin that glows everywhere he goes giving him an impression of purity. Clothing: Taka wears a black undershirt which covers his body and hugs it tightly. Taka wears the same tight black pants as well to form the basis of his outfit. Taka wears a waist coat. It is a strange design as it is comprised of two layers. The top layer is a dark gray and it covers the upper body and midway of the biceps on either side. The dark gray layer forms a diamond shape gap for the lower layer. The lower layer is a lighter gray and continues on from the biceps with a tight fighting long sleeve. The gap caused by the diamond shaped dark gray layer is filled up with the light gray layer. It has two long strips of fabric coming off from the bottom of the waist coat that is 2 foot long. The entire waist coat is embroided with gold string giving it character. On Taka's shins are dark gray peices of fabric which cover the front of the shins from the feet upwards and then it rounds back and appears on the lower part of the thigh around the knee caps to retain his mobility. These are also embroided with gold and are held in place with gold string. His shoes are normal boring black shoes. Accessories: Sword on left hip and Shield on back Extra: N/A Picture: Its a picture Personality Taka has been raised to be what most people would call a nice guy. He always has a grin on his face, he enjoys his life plus he was taught that having a grin on your face help people feel like they can talk to you. He always has something nice to say about anything even if its in the worst of situations, He once complemented a kid for kicking him in the shin because it actually hurt. He tries to never say anything to get people mad at him or make them want to fight him. But, He is not a push over in the slightest. He knows when to find and how to fight, He actually enjoys it because of the rush he gets in using his skills and also because he feels that he grows in wisdom with every fight he is in. But he tries not to kill anything or anyone he is fighting. Taka is not the type of person to take things slowly, he actually likes to be in a hurry and busy. He would rather be chasing after someone that has done a small crime then sitting under a tree looking at the clouds. He feels that he has a sense of justice and he tries to stop all the crime that he see's around him, He once punched a squirrel because he thought it was stealing food from a elderly lady He later found out that she was feeding it. There are few things that make Taka's blood boil. He hated the mistreatment of the elderly, Mostly because he was raised by his grandfather his whole life. He hated people that seem to only have bad things to say, He feels that life should be celebrated not moped threw. History History Taka never knew his parents, he was told by his grandfather that they were both mages and that they were killed a few days after he was born. His grandfather had always been a good man, he was well liked by everyone that he had ever met. Taka grew up in the mountains not far from a small town, his grandfather wanted to be near the town but also liked the quiet that came with living outside of town. When Taka was young his grandfather began to try to teach him magic, but it failed, It seemed that unlike his parents Taka had no magic powers. This was ok with him, his grandfather then began to teach Taka the little bit he knew about using a sword and shield. Taka practiced everyday to learn what he was taught. Living in the mountains and training all day meant that Taka did not really have any friends. He tried to make some every time he went to town but they thought that he was weird because he lived up in the mountains. This some times bothered him but he knew he would make some when he was old enough to travel. When Taka was 12 his grandfather became ill he was rather old and living in the mountains so long with out electricity had worn his body out. As his grandfather laid there in his bed he told Taka that he would need to go to town and look for a man named Clark. Reluctantly Taka did what he was told knowing full well that his grandfather might be dead by the time he got back. When he got to town he began to ask around and see if anyone knew this Clark, it seemed he was a rather popular guy and that he was also the town's swordsmanship teacher. He was sitting out front of the general store when Taka walked up and told him his story. The man smiled at him and said " So your grandfather has sent you to me to see if i could help you learn more about swordsmanship." Taka was then enrolled in the school and learned how to use a sword decently,needless to say his grandfather passed away the day Taka left. But then one day when he got to school it was in pieces and his master was dead. After asking around he learned that a dark mage had come along and killed his master and destroyed the school to prove himself and powerful mage. That day Taka made a vow to use his swords skills to protect people from bad mages, he knew not all mages were evil. He even hoped that he would make some mage friends. He began to journey around the land and heard great tales of the knights of fiore, he had not heard about them previously because he lived in the mountains. He started gathering information all around Fiore and even tried to join and few times. By trying he learned that as he was now he was to weak and foolish. He needed to gain more strength and more common knowledge of the world around him. Weaponry/Equipment D Rank Simple Sword: a 3 foot long and 4 inches wide sword with a 1 foot long black handle. Round Shield: a simple shield with a radius of 3 feet. Stats - 45 Strength: 11 Accuracy: 11 Stamina: 12 Speed: 11 Earned Stat Points Earned: 0/0 Arc Points Earned: 0/0 Jewels Earned 100,000/100,000 Sources Sources None Skills & Disciplines Basic Sword Skills: He is not handy with a sword but he is not completely new to using one either. Include a unit here, even if you think it's obvious. - I would condense the paragraphs of your physical description. - Same with clothing. - Probably worth making personality 3 paragraphs, or, strengthen the 4 you have. - Same with history. While there is no technical minimum length to a paragraphs, having them a bit less spread out helps with readability. - If you have no weapons at all, put N/A. (Though, it seems odd you would have nothing.) - Put N/A next to Skills and Disciplines, but, it's odd you're not using it when the rest of the profile is relatively detailed. - "The transformation could be only clothing or armor, that has the same look as the beast, that give the user the abilitys of the beast, the power he gains from them are some of the abilitys they use in the wild." Several grammar and syntax mistakes here, which matter when it's the core of your magic description. - Care to expand on that last sentence in your magic description? - At rank 2 your transformation is only partial. - You sure you want no natural weapons? - You're using the old TO rules, TO was updated for May, check out the new rules, I promise they're about 100% easier to read now.
