Hey everyone! It's May and you know what that means? Yeah, me neither. There's not a whole lot in terms of major news right now, except for maybe some clarification on some forms of magic like usual. As for a new event? Right now, we're just having the April Event (Bosco Invasion part 3) taking place, which runs into the middle of May. But, one cool new thing that we're introducing this month is SS-Class items. Now you have something to grind and agonize over! Yay, isn't that just lovely? I think so. You can find more info on that in the Equipment and Item Creation section in the rules. That's it for now, folks! If I get anything new to add to this you can guarantee that I will do so. Poinsettia, the place was nice and high class, Ferrum felt at home here. He had no problem with high class living, the one thing about it was that the fact that people didn't like his brawly behavour, not like he cared in anyway. The palce was full of people today, most being families with young children and couples. Something big was going down today, and Ferrum wouldn't mind finding it out. Then a group of clowns started to came down the street doing all sorts of tricks and perfomances, Must be a fair, seems like fun. I might just sus it out, Ferrum thought. So he followed the crowds, to where the fun was being had. His stomach rumbled, now was a good time to eat. So he separated, and went to a near street vender, where he bought some Rice balls, a cup of ramen and Lime Bubble Tea. The sun was going down as well, and since he had a hard walk here, he thought some rest was due. He would go sus out the fair tomorrow, since he was a few days ahead of schedule. He walks to a near by inn, that he saw near by. He enters the inn, it seem's full, but he still goe's ask the inn keeper. He makes his way through the crowd and finally to the desk. He asks the lady and she said it was full and so he leaves. He tries a couple mor inn's, but it's all the results. So it was either sleep outside or rent an appartment. Either one didn't suit Ferrums tastes, but he new he had to do something. He walked down the streets, untill he hit a small little bar in a side street which had a sign saying "Free Rooms for the Night", he had take up the offer. HE enter's and the bar seemed putrid. It was full of cheap courtisans and drunks, but a room was a room. He walks up to the barkeep and ask's for a room, which the barkeep grabbed some keys and handed them to Ferrum. Ferrum nodded and continued up stairs to his room. He enters his domain, it was small, but it gave him shelter and a very dirty, old mattress was on the floor. Layed on the matress and fell asleep to the drunks on the lower level and rocking mattreses in the roon next door. Edited by Soka Grimore, Feb 15 2012, 01:53 PM.

It was a vibrant and warm afternoon in the city of Poinsettia, which was known for its high class and extravagant nature. Around this time of year, Poinsettia holds host to a large week long festival of lights, color and culture, causing great masses of people from all over the region to flock to this certain city so that they could enjoy the festivities. Rayleigh himself arrived in this town not long ago so that he too could witness this festival, and see what all the 'hype' was about, however, that wasn't the only reason he came here... As a recent member of Fairy Tail, he felt it was his duty to try and track down possible dark mages that may crop up in areas with large amounts of people, and as is his nature, he couldn't restrain himself from going, to the dismay to the other guild members. The blond strolled around vigorously, half trying to find the festival and half trying to find possible dark mages, which wasn't as easy as he thought it would be in his head...It wasn't long before he decided to temporarily abandon the thought of capturing dark mages and just enjoy the festival, which was as beautiful as people said it would be. Before he knew it, it was gloaming with night, something which prompted the blond to seek refuge somewhere for time being, although, luckily, he already had a suite checked out in a nearby hotel, after all, it helps to be prepared. A few minutes walk had allowed him to find that hotel and enter his room after receiving the key at the counter, and upon reaching his bed, he fell onto it in a slump, not really caring about changing his clothes and what not...he was exhausted, after all he had to get his rest for he intended to spend tomorrow at the festival too. Meanwhile, in a dark unmonitored sector in Poinsettia, a group of cloaked questionable gentlemen gathered near an alley way, all of them being hooded although a flicker of red shone from their obscured eyes, needless to say, it was reasonable to suspect them of getting up to 'no good'. "So Zenryu, how many people did you manage to kidnap?" Exclaimed the tallest of the shady gentlemen, who's eyes flashed an odd iris pattern, similar to that of a kaleidoscope. "Heh. Around five, tomorrow we plan on kidnapping a lot more...think of the ransoms...Godrai" "Well, things are going swimmingly, they won't know what hit them...let us move on, if anyone catches us, it'll be troublesome" Just then, before the group could depart, a piercing bellow echoed through out the area, telling them to halt. It was too dark to properly identify the man, but judging by the silhouette of his uniform, it could be known that this man was an officer of the law. Flashing his torch into the eyes of the hooded marauders, he questioned them quite abruptly, demanding them to tell him what they were doing at that time, having overheard the whole fiasco about the 'kidnapping'. Before he could say anymore, the caped men grinned menacingly, and in almost an instant, a large scream traveled across the entire area, before the sound of fleeing footsteps. The man was dead, with his crimson life force splattered across the walls of the alley way, it was horrendous to say the least, however the cloaked individuals where nowhere in sight...just what was this..? The new day awakens Ferrum from his not so deep sleep, the bed felt awful and the noise from last night had continued to disrupt him, he really needed a new location. But then, the day brought excitement to him, since his plans were to go check out this fair. He felt lucky for a change, since he hasn't been to one since his 10th birthday. His mind then went off into a place in the past memory. The sweet sound of a band travels throught the streets, this snapped Ferrum out of his trance and got himself ready for the day. His suit was on and his motovasion was on a role. He leaves the inn and joins the busy crowd, his stomach rumbled, it seem's that food was in order first. He made his way to a small cafe nearby, he sat at an outside table, so he could enjoy the sunshine. A waiter walks up to him asking what he want's to order, he just order's some toast and a coffee, it was a quick and easy meal to have, and since he was so eager to go out. The waiter comes back with his small breakfast. He finishes it up quickly, and pays the waiter the Jewels adding a tip as well and goes to join the crowd in it's festive activity. This was a day for the kids or so Ferrum thought, since the street riddled with them, wether they were going with parents, family or just alone. Ferrum was pumped, his blood was pumping in his vains, he felt like a kid again, haveing that feel of going for the first time. As he draw's closer, the sound of music lift's the air with joy, with venders shouting out, trying to sell there game to the passing crowd. The first thing Ferrum saw though, was the giant Ferris Wheel in it's wonderous glory, followed by the fun house, where he had enjoyed the maze of mirrors and the giant ball pit inside. He wished he could go in, but he couldn't, since it was built for kids only and so he just passes it by. |

Rayleigh was woken up by an odd yet very loud tuneless beat, something which at first startled him to the point of jumping onto the ceiling briefly. After regaining his composure, he looked out of his suite window to see what the hubbub was about, and to his surprise, there was a large crowd amassed on the streets...the festival was...here?! Perhaps it was because of the dark, but he didn't notice that his hotel happened to be right next to where the festival took place, how convenient. In a hurry, the blond gets dressed and dashes out of the hotel door, leaving the keys to the receptionist on his way out with a piece of hotel made toast in his mouth, he was far too busy to bother sitting still and finishing like any decent individual. In a flash, he joined the large crowd who gathered to witness the large festival of floats and attractions. He adored the various floats that went past, many of them being ridden by various mages performing simple tricks to dazzle the crowd, which seemed to have been working, as evident by the large cheers of the people. It wasn't long before the blond was bored of watching and decided to go find something fun to do, preferably something cool like a carnival ride, though on his way, he spotted something quite peculiar. It was a tall, bald man masked behind his shades and fitted into a dark suit. It didn't look like any of the kids there were his kids...so why was he there? "He looks shifty...is he a dark mage?" Thought the blond attentively Before long, he decided to walk up to the stranger just as he himself was going to walk on, prompting him to stop by calling out to him, hoping he would at least turn around. "'Scuse me sir, but you look rather suspicious, care to tell me your motives here?" |

The music filled the air and the voices of people clouded his ears, the scent of food filled his noses. The sensations were astounding, it truely was a magnificent sight for Ferrum. He didn't know where to start, the cotton candy or a ride, although he can get motion sickness quite easily. he was very indecisive at the current moment. "'Scuse me sir, but you look rather suspicious, care to tell me your motives here?" Ferrum turns around, a teenage boy with blonde hair had appeared behind him, acting curious to why Ferrum was here in the first place. Ferrum looked down at him, lowering his sun glasses. "Can't a man come and enjoy himself at a nice family fair? I look as suspicious as any other person here. Now excuse me, I am feeling a little hungry, good day to you sir." He places his glasses back on and walks away. It semed a little rude to have been approched like that, but he probly had looked sus looking like this at a fair and not be with someone. Food actually sounded good right at that moment, and so food it was on the list for the time being and after that was a nice stroll once again. He buy's some popcorn and goes for a wonder. The popcorn was abit salty for him, but it was satisfying none the less and so a drink was in order as well, some mango bubble tea sounded nice, and so he went on a hunt to seek the drink. "THIEF" Shouted a near by vendor shouted, Ferrum turned in time to see a thief run towards he ferris wheel. Why he ran there, god knows why, but none the less, Ferrum chased him. The chase didn't last long, as the thief had no where to run when he got to his destination, all he could go was up. The theif smiled and looked up, another four dropped down surrounding him, each one snickering at him. If it's fight they want I fight they'll get, now it's time to see who gets strike the first blow. A guy strikes from behind and Ferrum grabs his amr and flings him at another guy, knocking then both down. The other two come at him as pincer attack. Ferrum had other choice but to duck and so they both punched each other in the face. One on the ground called for reinforcement, and so another five came. It was now a 10 vs 1 fight, help would be useful right now. |

The blond scratched his head as the rather brutish man turned around, revealing to be rather menacing looking. Unhindered, the blond asked the man what his motives where rather bluntly, however the man grimaced for a moment before politely responding, then turning around to leave. The blond pondered for a moment, then realized what he said was rather rude of him, so as a way to apologize to him, he followed him. After a while, the blond finally tracked the man down...but he was fighting? The blond stood from afar as the man had managed to subdue around five people with little difficulty, he was surely strong to say the least. Soon, things turned sour as even more of the thuggish brutes showed up to vastly outnumber him, now that was hardly fair at all. Almost through instinct, the blond rushed to the mans aid, assuming that the thugs that were outnumbering him where crooks and he was the man who was in the right. "Relax I'm not here to ridicule you, I can see that you need help, so wanna split them 50/50?" Explained the blond as he gave the men a dark glare of disapproval as his means of keeping them at bay while he talked The blond held onto the hilt of his katana as insurance in case one of them decided to do a cheap shot. |

"Relax I'm not here to ridicule you, I can see that you need help, so wanna split them 50/50?" Ferrum chuckled, this seemed to be a perfect time to start kicking ass, "Hahaha, thats fine by me. I am ready kick ass and chew gum. And i'm all outta gum." He replied with a smirk. He waited for them to strike first, the air was still, it was the calm before the storm. Then one guy cluched his fist, stareing right into his eyes, Ferrum smirked as if were to say, come at me. The guy took the invite and charged, Ferrum cracked his neck and said, "Lets roll." A punch was coming towards him, he dodged and grabbed the guys arm, spinning him on the spot and then pushed him back out, where the guy stumbled. He looked back in anger and stared at the others, who were now ready to join in. They all charged in and Ferrum just stood there. The fight was on, "Lets do this." Two punches came at him, he yet again dodged them both a punched the one one the left in the stomach. The second one went to go punch Ferrum again, but he was two slow while Ferrum grabs the guy' arm and flipped him into the other guy, who was laying on the ground, collideing them both into each other. He then bumbed his fist together, they were then covered in to his iron fists and charged at the others, it was now time brake some bones. He ran and jumped up and kicked a guy in the face, then another two go for a pincer attack, Ferrum stood there to took a hit in the side, he then grabed the arm and swung him around, smashing him into the other guy. He smirked as he turned to see how the other guy was doing. |

The blond let off a gleeful grin as he witnessed the mans change of tone, it was clear to him now that he had been forgiven, and that all was well, the only thing they needed to do now was dispose of those grunts. Before any actual fighting had taken place, the lean man uttered a rather familiar catch phrase, something which made the blond scratch his head for a moment before paying his attention to the gang of crooks again, realizing that they had already made their move. The blond was about to strike first, when the suited man blasted past him and let out a flurry of attacks, easily dispatching of the five whilst the other five took this hint of distraction to surround the blond to effectively boost their chances of succeeding. Rayleigh finally got back into his groove and realized that this had happened, letting off a soft groan before telling them to come at him by waving his hand towards himself, signifying that he was 'ready'. This only angered the group and one by one, they darted at him. The youth easily saw these attacks coming, and in an instant, dispatched the first man by kicking him in the chin, sending him toppling backwards and supposedly knocking him out. Just then as he landed, two others came from behind in order to tackle him, but he was ready for a blind spot attack, and violently drew and swung his katana in a while horizontal arch, making a brisk cut across both men and having them collapse due to their injuries, of course the blond held back enough for them to merely be unconscious. The last two men were quite fearful of the events that had taken place, in almost in an instant, 8 of the men had been taken care off with absolute ease, this of course shed light on their limitations and as a result decided to run, however the blond was hardly going to let that happen, so he followed them, whether or not the suited fellow decided to follow him was up to him, however he was not going to let them get away, as they may provide a link to the dark mages that the blond was previously trying to find. "Wait up punks!" |

Ferrum turns to see the mage chaseing the two remaining thugs, we would give chase, but he had bigger fish to fry. He scanned the area for the bag theif and he was nowhere to be found. Then a sudden sound of "WTF is that guy doing" errupted from the crowd. Ferum turned around and evey one was looking up and so Ferrum followed suit. It seemed that the guy he was looking for had decided to climb the ferris wheel, what an odd way to escape, he though to himself. He walks up to the guy operating the ride, "Would you be kind enough to get this thing moving?" The operater shakes his head and points to the controls. "They be shot my friend, that guy destrayed thm before climbing." Ferrum let out a sigh, this was not going to be easy for him and to capture a thieving scum like him, was it worth it at all? Yes... Yes it was, he thought to himself, although following suit was not going to be any easier. But there was only one way, and it was up. The bastard had already mde it halfway up, but how the hell was he going to get down? The answer was that he wasn't, if anything he would fall to a horrible horrible death. It would be great to see that happen for all the trouble that he had caused. But, being a gentleman, he would not let that happen... At all. Ferrum climbed the ferris wheel, brace by brace, this wasn't easy to do, but thank the heavans that the wheel wasn't moving, otherwise that he would then gain motion sickness. A voice from the crowed called out, "I got it working now, I'll have it moving in a second." Then the jolt hit his stomch heavily, "Oh hell no..." He thought to himself. This was not his day at all. |
