Vinkheart would be shieled a bit from any more attacks thanks to Diaev moving in to guard him. It seemed like Vink had finally proven himself maybe to Diaev enough for him to really risk his life for him and the cause. Getting to his feet Vinkheart would leave the books on the ground, pushing them back a little bit with his foot as he started to aim at the wind mage. while it looked as if one of his rings started to glow However things were about to get from bad to worse for everything as Diaev rocket was about to collide with the gun mage's pistols. But before it could the wind mage would wave his hands in a fluid motion toward the rocket as it came in close. " Wind blade " he said as his hands claped together onto of each other as a whip like stream of wind lashed out just as fast as the rocket and would attempt to chop the rocket in two, buying the Gun mage enough time to jump to the side " Homing SHOT! " he said as 8 magical bullets homed in on Diaev. Vinkheart would finally have a clear shot at this time and even if Diaev tried to dodge the shot Vinkheart would fire a dead on the money shot at the Wind mages explosed unprotected chest. The explosive shot burst and shredding the skin on his flesh pushing him back as he lost balance and fell on the ground. Vinkheart was done there tho as he thrusted one hand forward unleash a gust of wind that would slow the homing shot for a moment. He hoped he had bought Diaev enough time to use his iron skin spell. |

Diaev, thinking he had finally done it, finally assured their victory. Was ever so wrong. He seemed to have too much of an emphasis on the gun mage, ignoring the wind mage, the blade hit the rocket, but it was too late, Diaev only smirked. Did the idiot not realise what happened when you attacked a damn rocket? The moment the blade hit the rocket it let out a huge vicious explosion, though not in time to stop the attack launched at him. He didn't know how much time he had to cast another spell, nor if he had enough focus to. Though quickly, Vinkheart unleashed a gust of wind, slowing the bullets down slightly. There was no time to waste! He had to apply everything, and now! What did the books say about maker mages? They lied in speed casting, that was their element. What was that tip? That one tip? Then he remembered. This information was useful already. "Iron Skin!" Diaev roared, using his arms to cover his vulnerable face, the bullets slammed into him, causing a few cracks, blood pouring out of the armour, luckily it wasn't too much and didn't hit his vitals. His vest took most of the shots, but he got at least three hits to the arms. Diaev had to finish this fight very soon, he'd be in hell after the spell faded. The Giant stood there, a look of rage on his face. He waited to see the results of his attack, but kept an eye on the wind mage, he was a crafty bastard! |

The blast would hit both the wind mage and the gun mage. The wind mage would go flying back a few meters into a tree seeming to not move, while the gun mage was moved a meter bits of his trench coat seeming to be burnt and torn. As the gust settled the Gun mage didn't waste any time and started to unleash a volly of Immaterial bullets, these energy bullets didn't just fire here and there he was unloading the full click from his automatic pistols and there didn't seem to be any pause to change ammo clips as they shots would keep coming! Vinkheart would kneel a bit behind Diaev for a moment before slaming his hand into the ground and using a gust of wind to launch him into the air, raising his gun to get the gun mage in his sights he would start firing, one shot hitting the gun mage for a moment making him take a step bag and let out a cry of pain before he start to skip backwards evading more shots. Vinkheart would end up landing in a tree not far behind Diaev. |

Diaev panted, the volley of attacks stopping. Had he finished him off? When the smoke cleared, the gun mage seemed totally fine, but the wind mage looked like he was out of if it. He didn't trust it for a minute though. Damn. He had put a lot into the spell and got very little out of it. He'd have to finish this the way he did that other time he fought it seemed. Though, before Diaev had time to even begin casting a spell, a volley of shots were suddenly let loose at him. He couldn't sustain much more damage if he were to keep on fighting these guys, he still had a long way to go after all. Quickly, he shifted his dog tags into his hoverboard, making it as long and as thick he could. It was a sturdy board, it would have been able to take the hits easy. He slammed it down into the ground, pushing against it to keep it up right as the bullets pelted against the board, there seemed to be no end to it, if it kept up like this, his super strong board might have actually got a dent. Though they couldn't stay like this forever, someone had to make an attack and soon, whether it be Vinkheart or Diaev. Vink seemed to pick up on this, blowing himself up into the air and catching the gun mage off guard, Diaev smiled when he heard the cry of pain, pushing the hoverboard down as quickly as possible and then quickly jumping onto it. The moment his feet locked into place, he shot forward like a rocket, as the gun mage jumped back, Diaev aligned so the wind mage was behind him, if he launched a gust to blow him away, he'd only serve to help Diaev right now. On the final jump, Diaev reached the gun mage, hopefully catching him off guard as he landed. With all of his strength and speed, Diaev jumped off of his board, turning them back into his dog tags around his neck, whilst he flew to the gun mage, he out stretched his hand. The moment Diaev got in range, he would try to grab the gun mage and push him down with him him, as the two were falling, he was going to end it. "Heavy Metal! Blade!" Diaev roared, a huge blade shooting out of his hand, aiming to pierce him right through the face in his solid Iron grip. He hoped this would end it all. |

Vinkheart would do a quick flips and hurls using the tree branches and would land on the ground as Diaev glomped the gun mage. Vinkheart would lower his gun thinking it was all over as surely Diaev would end the gun mages life and the wind mage surely wasnt in any state to do anything. However Vinkheart couldnt have been more wrong... Diaev's blade would stab right into the gun mages skull. However the Gun mage had latched tightly. A surge of magical energy would build quickly then explode, if Diaev didn't get away from the dying mans clutches he would be blasted with a deadly lachyrma bomb that was implanted into his body. Meanwhile in the cover of the blast, the wind mage would have vanished only to appear blurred by wind flowing quickly around him, as he hovered in the air being held up by a small twister. Vinkheart would smile lightly as he would raise his pistol and begin to unload the remaning of his clip into the wind mage. The wind armor seeming to soundly block all the shots rendering even the special shots useless against his wind armor, this would need something more to bring the crazed wind mage down. |

Diaev's eyes filled with an almost demonic delight as he pierced the mage through the skull, reminding him of the time where he went into a full on bloodlust mode, slaughtering all of his enemies. Whilst he was crashing into the ground with the mage, he exchanged the blade for two on his forearms, quickly re summoning his hoverboard, latching it onto his feet. He could already feel the air around him changing, he would need to shoot up and fight the wind mage next. Though suddenly, he felt an iron grip on him. No way! This guy still had some fight in him?! Even after a blade to the face? He should have been down and out, he had never seen anyone survive something like that! No matter how many times he had used that trick to kill people in one-hit, they had always went down in one blow! Before he fell down and lost all hope, Diaev slamemd the bottom of the hoverboard into the mage, trying to force him to relinquish his grip, he had to slam him multiple times, but he finally broke free, he shot up quickly, knowing something would go off soon. Though he didn't make it high enough. The blast was massive and Diaev shot into the air, he didn't take the brunt of it, he wasn't that close thankfully, but he was blown away, disoriented. His hoverboard flipped and span multiple times before Diaev could finally stabilise and see the situation. It was now dented and scratched, brilliant. Thank god he was somehow still alive, the Iron Giant examined the air mage, seeing Vinkheart couldn't finish him off. This was likely Diaev's last attack too, Iron Skin was going to wear off and he would be forced plummeting and unable to fly. It had to be this attack that ended it. The Iron Giant shot forward as quickly as he could, de-activating the limiter on his automail, he gained a considerable strength boost, it should have been enough to pierce this armour. Diaev screamed as he blasted forward, awaiting the moment that he got close. Blood would fly back as it poured out of his wounds, the explosion having caused the bleeding in them to increase. This was definitely the last shot. When Diaev got in range, he threw as hard a punch as he could at the wind armour, the blade making contact. He tried to punch through as he could, backed by the force of his hoverboard, if he pierced through, he would aim right for the chest of the wind mage, and hoped he wouldn't do some grip shit and kill the Iron Giant off, he wouldn't have the ability to barely escape another. |

As Diaev charged at the Wind mage full power his blade would start to chip and break against the wind armor, however at the last moment it would break thru destroying his spell and thursting his broken blade and fist int the mage. his blade stabbing into the mage but slightly off course it would slam into his should and cause him to start falling. Using this chance Vinkheart would start changing clips "Use that explosive" Vink would say refering to Diaev's last grenade. Finishing changing to his last clip Vinkheart would aim his pistol sizing it up and getting a good shot before firing twice. Aiming at the wind mages centeral mass his chest. Along with his own explosive armor peicring shot would stop him from casting anymore spell while if Diaev used his grenade it would end the wind mage with out doubt. It was with this combination they would have defeted these two dark mages. |

Iron Skin ended, and suddenly Diaev felt that massive over-whelming feeling of dizziness. Even though he had broke through and got the guy in the shoulder, he still didn't feel too great. He would have passed out any moment. His blade spell disappeared with a blue glow and just dispersed into the atmosphere. His board started wobbling and now it was up to Vinkheart to finish this, he was nearly about to crash land right into the ground, face first. Though, suddenly, as Diaev himself was about to fall, he heard Vinkheart's shout for him to use his explosive. Well, maybe one couldn't hurt. He reached back and grabbed it, pulling the pin out, he dropped it over the dark mage and let it land near him. Slowly, the Iron Giant pushed down on the nose of the board and moved towards the ground slowly. The nose slammed into the earth and Diaev fell off slowly right onto his face. Yep, he was totally done. His eyes weary, he quickly turned his hoverboard back into dogtags, letting them move back onto his neck. Diaev looked away from the scene of the final battle. He couldn't see what was going on, though he could smell smoke from the flames his rocket had caused earlier, though the blood pouring out of the bullets that hit him -but didn't pierce him- reminded him how badly he got beat. Was he really strong enough to do this and defend Vinkheart? If they were going against Knight leaders, Wizard Saints and guild masters, not to mention armies of knights, mages, and an assortment of other groups there was no way he could pull off being a bodyguard to Vinkheart in his current state, unless one of those books held something totally awesome and unexpected. The Iron Giant panted and moved to lay on his back, letting out a groan. His back would have got muddy, but he didn't care right now. "We got fucked up didn't we?" Diaev panted, putting his hand on his forehead and closing his eyes. Yes they did, and they still had to make the trip back to a hospital or something. Great, this was just bullcrap. Oh, and now he could feel the pain from his earlier wounds too. Brilliant. |

As the explosive went off the wind mage's body would be smashed and blown into the ground his body bloody, torn, and beaten to a lifeless state. With the wind mage most likely dead, along with his partner the gun mage the duo of rebels had twarted Grimoire Heart getting there hands on the greatest dark mages materials. They also had learned much more about them selfs. Vinkheart realize just how limited his pistol was along with how much he needed to acquire more magical rings as his two he had now was not enough to contend with real mages. Walking over to Diaev, Vinkheart would smile " Ya we did, but we also had our first true victory today. " Vinkheart would tell his friend before sitting next to him. " With what i have collected from that study, we can advance our own power greatly faster then normal, along with others who will join our just cause. " He would tell Diaev with a small giggle. " I do think we should leave the guild Grimoire Heart for later on tho, I'd hate to have to fight 50 of those guys even when we are stronger just to take down one guild, I say we aim for a much eaiser target no one will miss. " he would tell Diaev with a snake like smile on his face as he closed his eyes slowly resting were they sat. |

Diaev looked up at Vinkheart as he walked over and smiled, he pulled out a cigarette and listened, listening closely. He spoke about how they could enhance their powers beyond the norm with the knowledge they had gained. Win or Fail, Diaev was likely going to become strong now, like, really strong. Vinkheart too, but they would still have to put a lot of effort into it. Diaev took a drag of his cigarette, blowing the smoke up into the air, splattered in his own blood and the blood of others. More so others though. This would be a toughie to explain when he stumbled into the Tully hospital. He would just say he was victim to the distraction earlier and lost the fight he was in. Slowly, Diaev moved up into a sitting position and groaned, looking at the battered corpses of the two mages. He wondered what they thought just before they died. Quickly, he moved his glance to the opening of the study which was going to be the start of this all. He would come back and seal it off later, whatever was in that place should have had no way of getting out. It was malicious, evil, cruel and despicable in every way. "I agree. It would be a bare win even if we had the same number of troops at the same strength...I seriously thought it might have been the end there." The Giant stumbled and pushed himself up with great difficulty, limping over to his sword, puffing on his cigarette lightly he picked it back up. "We should hurry and clear off. If more come, we're screwed." Diaev gave a wave and then walked off into the forest, though he walked for only about ten minutes before finally caving in and collapsing in the middle of the trees. Great. Now he was muddy, bloody, and likely got an infection. Oh well, he'd live, he always did somehow. |
