Vinkheart would frown as he stared at the hourglass for only a moment before starting to scrample thru the books looking for more and more usefull things. Vinkheart would start to pile books up on the first workstation, them seeming to be mostly historical reacounts and magical experimentation. What the hell was Vinkheart planning against the magic council? Diaev could only worry however, Diaev would have more to worry about as it seemed Vinkheart didn't want to leave yet as more and more sand was going thru the hour glass along with the creatures sounding closer and closer. " So much information "Vinkheart would say grabbing a large book that seemed to be something of true importantce beyond the normal as it had magical runes all over it and bound closed with chain. " We can't just leave all this information here, the amount of discoverys, and untold secrets! " Vinkheart would say just as two of the ape demons from before would arrive in the door way, bloodlust and rage filling there eyes. |

When Diaev reached the exit, he stopped and skidded, eventually bringing him to a halt just at the exit. God damn that Vinkheart, he was too obsessed with this stuff, somehow he'd have to break him out of his little spell before they ran out of time, when that occurred, he assumed that the place would blow up and the whole complex would collapse, much like it did on movie lacrimas, a bit too cliché. Diaev gripped his sword tightly, seeing the ape monsters approaching. They were going to rip both of them apart, well, maybe just Vinkheart, Diaev could get out of here pretty quickly if he wanted. However, he came too far to just ditch Vinkheart here. He better grab him before they ran out of time and or died from the evil ape mutants. The Iron Giant softly jogged back over to Vinkheart, trying to save his stamina. He grabbed his shoulder and shook him, rather hard actually, trying to get his attention from his book induced coma. "Oi, we gotta get going! You've got two minutes to get your shit, I'll hold off these guys." Diaev said, suddenly, he charged towards the apes, about two meters away, he quickly stopped, changing course and taking a sharp left to end up on the ape's left side. Taking two on one side wasn't good. Quickly, the Iron Giant swung upwards, trying to cut the Ape from the bottom of its stomach all the way to the top of it's head. |

Vinkheart's body jiggled a bit with Diaev harshly shaking him. Sighing loudly Vinkheart would pout " Fine, Its only logical after all. " Vinkheart would say in a shallow distant voice as Diaev made his charge. He would then start making a new pile of books, this one much smaller he seemed to be picking only certain historical reaccounts and the like. He had his information for himself with the blueprints, lachyrma, and magical item book thus he began to grab a few historical books, the book diaev was reading and they seemed to be looking for a specific book as he started to run his finger along the titles as he slowly walked alone the right wall of the room. Meanwhile as Diaev did a upward slash toward the ape, it would jump back seeming to be faster and stronger now that it had eaten, while the other one tossed literally poo at diaev, however this was no normal monkey poo thanks to the strange experiments its poo was slightly explosive, meaning if daiev was hit by this poo it would let out a small explosion with the same power as Vinkheart own exposive rounds minus Vinkhearts armor peicring touch but still quite powerful. As poo was literally flying, the first ape would slam its hand onthe ground in anger then fling them up, resulting in 4 needles flying at Diaev if he dodged or not the poo the ape was prepared! All the while Vinkheart would have found possibly the book he was looking for as he had a book in hand was was flipping thru it vigerously looking for certain passages it seemed. |

Diaev would let out a roar as the ape jumped back, his intention was to never fight these guys, he was just going to hold them off and think of a way to hold them out later on. He was a bit too destructive when he went all out, he didn't exactly want to wreck the materials here by cutting everything up. Them being in a line made it Diaev easy to see the shit that was being thrown at him, and quickly the giant stepped, ducking his body to the right, suddenly, he heard a boom behind him. Oh, no way. This shit exploded?! Though Diaev had no time to ponder how it happened, why it happened, and how the hell it got it out so quickly, because needles were flying towards him. The potion had restored some of his magical power, so he could at least spare this. He focused on the needles and shot two back as quickly as he could, aiming to stab the bastards in their eyes and put them down and out. They could have rampaged, but that would just leave them even more open for an attack, well, assuming they didn't have amazing senses. "Hurry up!" Diaev shouted, making some distance quickly by running sideways and moving into a more open area, slowly backing from the monsters. "We're gonna run out of time, and these guys are stronger and faster! Do we really want to waste time with these mongoloids?!" |

The needles woul donly hit the first ape however they would hit him all over his own face, killing him quickly as he fell back screaming, his scream however would oddly sound like a newborn baby. As the creepy scream echoed in the halls the other ape would shadow Diaev as he got some distance he seeming to in waiting for Diaev to stop moving, as the two got closer to Vinkheart and Diaev would ask him to hurry up Vinkheart would draw his pistol with one hand letting loose a few shots at the ape, making it jump backwards again and again back to the entry door. " Lets head out, i have what i need " He would tell Diaev as he grabbed a arm full of books, carring books in one arm and the other wielding his gun. Making his way toward the exit hauling his items. The ape would start moving back towards the two, however the hourglass was almost empty, making the entry door seal behind the ape, and the exit door starting to slowly move. " Exit stage left! " he would shout to diaev as Vinkheart himself started to walk down the exit corridor, a light being able to bee seen ahead at the top of some stairs. |

Diaev smirked as the first ape was killed by the needles ramming into it's skull, effectively a quick and painless death. Though there was still one more, and as Diaev recalled it would probably be angrier and a lot stronger now that his friend had been killed. He had to approach this carefully, he didn't know what other traps lurked in this place, if he took a hard blow now it could effectively end this whole operation, for him at least. He didn't want to waste too much magic on this thing, whatever was ahead would probably be a toughie, like some demon from the depths of hell itself. Diaev thought of a way to cut this thing down quickly, a lunge? A kick? Throwing shit and hoping it would combust and kill the monster? Ridiculous. Diaev slowly started to step back, waiting for it to come at him, but suddenly multiple loud bangs came from behind Diaev, the ape jumping back quickly and bullets deflected off of the ground. Good timing, finally he was doing something other than obsessing over tomes he could simply come back for later when they were more powerful. "About fucking time!" Diaev shouted, the entry door suddenly sealing. Shit! Diaev heard Vinkheart's shout and darted left towards the door, no way he could just run through this shit, he'd have to do this Indiana Jones style. As the Iron Giant approached the door quickly, he dropped down, sliding across the ground and past the door! Oh no! He'd left his sword behind! Reaching back quickly, Diaev grabbed it and pulled it through, just before the door had closed on him. He took a deep breath, letting out a sigh of relief. He paced himself and got up, looking towards the apparent exit. Finally! He could go to the hospital, get his vitals and bones checked for the damage from that harsh throw, and the massive slam by the bone earlier. He was sure he had pushed a rib deeper into his body or something. Diaev walked along the corridor, dragging his sword along the ground, he started to ascend the stairs with Vinkheart. "I really hope we're in the clear now..." He stated, wiping his brow. "That isn't the toughest we'll come across though? Right?" Diaev asked, a hint of doubt in his voice. |

Vinkheart would pause watching as Diaev barely made it under the falling door, and still had time to grab his sword with great haste. As the door slamed the monkey would get caught barely under it and be smashed into two, the child like screams echoing down the hallway as they made there departure. As they quickly walked up the stairs Diaev would ask with hint of doubt in his voice if this was the strongest they would face. " Humans are by far more fragile then that of beasts and unholy creations. " Vinkheart would tell Diaev in his voice having a sinster tone to it. It was a aim to comfort Diaev that future ventures should be easy as Vinkheart would plan and create moments and times for attacks to go off flawless and for the guilds to fall with barely a whimper one by one. Surely they would run into strong enemies later on, top dogs of guilds and guildmasters, perhaps even a few high rankings knights, all of these would be quite a task to handle, but Vinkheart already knew they would have such a mountain of opposition in a uprising against the Fiore goverment and changing it. Infact that is what fueled his obsession but moments ago, under arm of the skinny boy he had purposly chosen books that would help elimiate that opposistion with flaws found in history or with the knowledge that would assit them in growing quite stronger at increased rates that would take normal mages years. However as the two came up to the exit that would spit them out on the far side of the forest out of a tree, that seemed to have openned when they had broke the illusion of the piano. As the two would exit the tree. No more then ten seconds after the two had cleared the tree however a strong gust of wind would blow hard at them. As the gust faded two men would stand before Diaev and Vinkheart, one tall man dressed ina red trench coat buttoned up to the collar with wild snow white hair. The other a young boy no older then Vinkheart himself wear a black vest and blue jeans. " Well well well, looks like we got us a couple of tresspassers, you have Grimoire Heart property! and have seen secrets that belong to Grimoire Heart, surrender everything! " The tall white haired man would say as he pulled out two shotguns from his back aimed at Vinkheart and Diaev. " Including your LIVES! " the young boy would shout as he made a fist and it seemed to make a tiny whirlwind around his fist. |

Diaev felt disgusted when he heard the screams, whoever cleaned that mess up would be one unlucky guy. Vinkheart would be all sinister and shit again, claiming that humans were more fragile than unholy creations. Diaev believed he was wrong there, humans always found a way to squirm out of hell and come back intact, but demons were usually cut down and never succeeded. Vinkheart couldn't be naive for much longer, Diaev would have to teach him about the difficulty and struggles the entire plan would bring, not only to them, but the stability of the country. There were more knights than mages by far, and assuming most mages fought against them there was a low chance they would win, unless there was something in those books that allowed Vinkheart to mind control or some shit. The giant just continued up the steps, the craving for cigarettes had disappeared, for now. Thank god. They were in the clear now though, Diaev could probably dart off if he wanted, but there was no telling what the hell could happen. Eventually, they reached the exit and, with his eyes used to the darkness, Diaev had to wait to adjust his eyes to the level of light. He took a deep breath of fresh air and let out a sigh of relief, finally, some good non musty air. Suddenly however, shit got pretty bad because a damn fourty five gale hurricane shot their way and Diaev had to stab his sword into the ground just to stay standing. Damn it! Not another illusion, had they messed up? Though before Diaev could consider it, the winds stopped and two guys stood there. Well, this was damn brilliant wasn't it? He knew there was a catch, there was always a damn catch! God damn it! They spoke like stuck up pretentious assholes, and before they even finished their 'I'm gonna kill you speech' Diaev clapped his hands, splitting them apart quickly a rocket launcher appeared, he got onto one knee, aimed, right at the guy with the guns and fired without a moments hesitation, the rocket flying straight towards him. Though, Diaev was smart. "Shut the fuck up!" Diaev would scream as the rocket shot forth, but that wasn't all, he knew they'd be able to counter it, so he began to manipulate it, whatever came at it, he'd do his best to dodge it by manipulating the steel rocket, up, down, left, right, it didn't matter, he'd chase the guy with it too. "Just die! I'm sick of these fucking games!" |

As Diaev got on a knee not wasting anytime by firing a rocket straight at the Grimoire heart duo. Vinkheart had seen this spell a few times before, it seemed to be one of Diaev favorite spells to use, and he didnt blame him it would end things quickly for them. A coy smirk would appear on Vinkheart lips as he was sure the two unprepared mages. However as the rocket fly towards the two, one of the gun mages shotguns would glow inside the chamber before firing " Wide Shot! " he would say as a cone 2 meters in diameter of magical bullets would not only be aimed to hit the rocket but aimed to hit Vinkheart and Diaev too! His eyes widening Vinkheart would try to spring to the right but still get pelted with a few shots all over his chest and a few in his legs. Landing roughly on the ground Vinkheart would start firing toward the wind mage Vinkheart thought he would catch off guard. However the wind mage expected a counter attack and would smash his fist into the ground creating a wind wall around the two for a moment blocking Vinkhearts first two shots. Another gust of would would barrel out, seeming not aimed for Vink and Diaev while they were inside the wind wall. As the wind wall faded, The gun mage had changed weapons too two pistols, that looked to be semi-automatic. The ends of both of the pistols would glow as he raised both of them aiming at Diaev. |

Suddenly, the gun mage had fired something called a wide shot. Just like the name, bullets pelted out in a wide cone forward. He focused on the rocket, stayed crouched and covered his face with his arm, the bullets bounced off of the automail, pain running throughout it and slightly cracking it. Others just hit his vest, which would surely be unable to take much more abuse. Quickly, Diaev rolled the rocket hard to the right, barely avoiding the bullets he shot it forward, doing his best to avoid the windwall. It seemed the gun mage was casting another spell, so Diaev aimed there, he'd rather blow the guns to pieces along with the spell than get hit. All he had to do was make it. Though, just in case, Diaev moved right in front of Vink, he had the books and stuff, plus the brain of a genius, he needed to protect him. Right now he was just a body guard, but the battle would be helped if at least one of them could hold out and dish out some damage. Maybe though, they might not take a hit, his spell just had to make it in time. "This isn't good at all! These guys won't mess around, so I won't either!" Shit just got real. The Iron Giant got serious for once. These guys were going straight to hell, whether they dragged him down with them was a different matter. |
