Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

As they got to the far left corner of the room, there was no sign of a door. Something surely going to bother the short fuse of Diaev, trying to keep his cool Vink would keep against the wall moving forward thru the room now, hoping to find a door soon, and it was thankfully right, about the time they got to the middle of the room again they could see a door in the corner ahead, however...there was a trent planted right in there path to get to it. Making them have to get away from the wall if they were to get to the door, they were left with two options, go back and try going around the room the opposite direction and hope to not detect anything, or move away from the wall.

Stopping for a moment Vinkheart would look around, mostly at the ground before getting to Daiev. Thinking for a moment we starting to try to figure out a sound plan for them to get thru, with out having to tap dance around the roots sticking out of the ground all over. A few minutes later after waiting for Vink to come up with a plan he had a idea, it was risky as all hell but that had no choice. "...How many granaids you got? " Vinkheart would ask him, as he eyes the opposite corner thinking and plotting.

As Diaev followed Vinkheart, he was shocked to see no sign of a door. His anger slowly rising from this pissing about and sneaking around, he was just about ready to charge in and cut everything up himself. He watched the treants, their faces so silent and unmoving, it was like a perpetual taunt. With his rage levels rocketing from having to be like a sneaky rogue, and having to watch as the treants simply mocked the two silently, he was almost ready to just throw out all of his grenades and blow them up. When they moved to the middle of the room, a door was present, and Diaev almost jumped out in glee, but then suddenly, noticed one of the treants blocking their way. It would be dangerous, if they cut one down they might have all awaken, though if they made a mad dash, they could have been able to slam right through the door, close it and seal it shut, then continue on their way, but that was wishful thinking, these demons would probably find a way to break through in the end, and in a crucial moment they would be cut down by a leaf storm.

Vinkheart thought for a moment, then inquired about how many grenades he had on him. The Iron Giant let out a sadistic smile, licking his lips, then he whispered as quietly as possibly could, but just enough so Vinkheart could hear him.

"I've got three of em." The Iron Giant carefully put his guns away and pulled the three off of his belt, holding two in one hand, and one in the other.

"So, what do you want me to do with them?" Diaev inquired, he knew they would probably blow themselves up and get caught in some rubble, but if Vinkheart was ready to take such a huge risk then Diaev would as well, what else could he do other than listen to the great genius that was Vinkheart?

Vinkheart would pause for a moment thinking of what three explosives could do, and where to place them. A single moment later Vinkhearts hand would raise to one spot a fair distance away, around 5 meters or so, then another 9 meters away. " Place them as close as you can toward the wall, I'm hoping to cave in part of the room, if it looks like the whole room is going to fall in on us, use the third before it falls and it should blast enough of it away to get us thru unharmed. " he would explain and wait for Diaev to toss his explosives.

If done correctly the whole other side of the room would nearly explode caving it in all but about 3 meters infront of them allowing thema straight shot to the door with only three trents to deal with, these three trents would shoot to life, one would be caught with some rubble while the other two would make a mad dash at Diaev and Vinkheart. Vinkheart would insantly start slowly firing on one, leaving the other to Diaev.

Diaev watched where Vinkheart pointed, making sure to remember them. His plan was pretty obvious just from the pointing, he wanted to collapse parts of the room to wipe out the treants and give them a fair fighting chance against the stragglers. Though sadly, it would use the grenades Diaev wasn't going to use. Oh well, Diaev nodded and agreed to the plan, pulling the pin off of the one grenade and then throwing it as accurately as he could, the moment he had thrown it, he put the second one in his hand, pulled the pin, and threw it to the spot that was closer. They exploded a few seconds apart and the room shook slightly, but thankfully, the whole complex didn't cave in! Most of the room was falling, rubble crushing and killing the treants around them, it was brutal and terrifying, one mistake and they could have just have been easily crushed. Diaev coughed through the smoke and such, only a few small rocks haven hit him, not doing too much damage. He wasn't sure about Vinkheart.

The plan had gone successfully, they didn't need another explosive so Diaev put it back on his belt, but all too quickly a treant moved towards him quickly. The Iron Giant grabbed his sword, cutting through the leather sheath and charged forward towards the monster, as soon as Diaev got close, he swung with all of his might to try and slice it in two, right across his mid section, it would likely do that leaf crap again, so at any time he was ready to let go and throw himself to the side to avoid being sliced up. They were still pretty early on after all. The slightest cut could have easily messed their shit up if it proved to be poisonous and such. It was time to finish this room and move on, Diaev was sick of this skulking around and strategy already, this fear thing wasn't really his thing anyway, for some reason he just couldn't shake that aura off.

With out a hitch the explosions went off, and Diaev took his place as the forward, as his blade sunk into the trent, unlike before this trent would just snap and break to bits, leaving him to be able to charge into the third trent. The trent Vinkheart had targeted would die after two shots it seeming to not able to stand up to the explosive armor peircing shot and a normal shot at all. It was obvious from just these three trents they were weaker, perhaps younger then the two they had encountered before, obvious why they had been planted.

Once Diaev had taken care of the last and final trent, the only thing left to do was to march on down the next corridor and what ever traps awaited them there. Holding his pistol close Vinkheart would lead on down the next tunnel, hoping the final destination was close, and not the deadly one.

Diaev was surprised to see that the treant had just crumbled the moment Diaev sliced through it, it was a very satisfying moment to watch as the tree monster just crumbled and collapsed. The Iron Giant charged forward as quickly as he could deciding not to waste another moment, it could have been the death of them for all they knew. As soon as Diaev came close to the beast, he lunged forward, stabbing the monster right through where its chest should have been, and the quickly pulled his blade up and through it, effectively slicing the top half of it in half. It too crumbled and fell down, sap covering his blade. With a sound of disgust, Diaev wiped it on the dead monster and stepped back, making sure to get none on his shoes. Once his sword was clean, he started to follow Vinkheart. His leather sheath had been ripped apart now, so he decided to just let it hang from his back as he moved along, following Vinkheart down the corridor, clutching his sword tightly.

The walk was quiet, and Diaev was expecting a crap ton of traps and monsters, so he moved vigilantly, watching his feet to make sure he didn't step on a pressure pad and blow the duo up, that would just not be healthy. Obviously. He thought about pendulums, spike pits and spears and arrows being thrust out of the walls, except now he was covered in dust from the collapse of the building and prone to sneezing.

As the duo continued, all would be quite and still, unlike before were traps and problems seem to pop up again and again, there was nothing. However, the tunnel didn't seem to want to end, they would feel as if they had been walking for almost a fifteen minutes before something would happen. A fork in the road would appear, one left, one right, and nothing but darkness both ways.

Vinkheart would pause at this fork seeming somewhat confused as he looked back and forth at the two paths. " Strange..." he would say looking again and again back and forth. " There was absolutly no mention of two paths...all mentions just spoke of a straight shot..." he would say trying to figure out what was going on, as all of his information and blueprintsand rumors, had pointed to just one path in the complex with no turns or seprate paths. " Could....could there have been a new path built near the end....but for what reason.." Vinkheart would ask allowed seeming confused and would glance to Diaev to see his thoughts on what he would like to do.

This path was long. It was taking forever, it was dark, they were underground and Diaev was sure he was going to have severe lung problems after staying in this place for so long. After about a fifteen minute walk of silence, the only sound the footsteps and creaks of the underground construction, they came across a fork. Diaev grimaced, thinking that this was totally normal, but Vinkheart interjected, thinking it was strange. Apparently, the book spoke of a straight shot. Diaev bit his lip, this was weird then. If they were meant to just go straight then a fork was a spanner in the works. Now, going left or right would likely lead to some kind of death trap if that was true, so they must have missed a door somewhere. Brilliant, all of that walking for nothing. The Iron Giant let out a sigh, a straight shot...a straight shot. God damn these tricks, monsters and illusions, and damn this unsightly aura! Then suddenly, he realised. An illusion. He stopped himself from turning around and walking away.

"I see...so it's something like that." The Iron Giant smiled. "Don't go left or right, Vinkheart. Take a note from my book and keep charging forward." Thus, Diaev did, he kept on walking forward, ignoring the fork. He might walk into a wall and embarrass himself, but it was worth a shot. The Iron Giant slowly walked towards the wall, stopping in front of it. He took a long, hard step forward, not closing his eyes or anything too dramatic, a demon might jump out. Hopefully, he would shatter an illusion, if it were truly a straight shot, he should have been able to go right through.

Vinkheart would raise a eyebrow to Diaev's idea, go straight into a wall? a strange notion, however as Diaev started to walk towards it, Vinkheart quickly understood what he meant, it must be some sort of illusion, something like that would be expected from the creator...a illusion to trick those who wanted something more with ideas that something more was down those tunnels leading them to sure death.

As Diaev took the big step, he would hit nothing but pass thru the wall and vanish before Vinkheart. Diaev would find himself in another part of the complex, a part that was filled with what seemed like autopsy tables with diffrent animals and monsters on it. Chemicals of some sort laid in dusty tubes and vials all around the room, it looked as if Diaev had stepped into some sort of twisted medical treatment room of a insane doctor. However, upon a closer look , magical circles had been placed on the floor around every table, and on tables with chemicals. The things that must have happened here...only one could wonder.

Meanwhile Vinkheart would stare closely at the fork still smiling a tiny bit staring at the corner poking it gently and giggling and the like, after a few minutes Vinkheart would pop up right behind Diaev " Oho, what do we have here?! " He would ask his curiousity seeming to start to get the better of him as he started to creep toward one of the autopsty tables right away.

The Iron Giant was shocked to find he moved through the wall, but very relieved. He was put into some sort of science lab, it was a large room with autopsy tables, books, vials of bubbling liquid, dead animals and many freakish abominations. Diaev walked around slowly, Vinkheart hopping in after him. Vinkheart was obviously very exciting by what was going on, but Diaev wasn't really interested. He saw a lot of magical circles around, and they creeped him out, he felt like scratching them out in case some dark magic was unleashed from them. He didn't want to have their back attacked by some ungodly creation. The Iron Giant took his sword and walked up to the first he saw, scratching it out by cutting over it, he did this twice in a cross shape as if to deny their ability to work. He walked around the whole room, doing this to every single magic circle he could find. It didn't take too long, he didn't work slow. Diaev took a deep breath and stretched, letting out a yawn, his cravings for nicotine kicking in, also, his need for food.

The Iron Giant then sat down, not interested at all really, catching his breath, waiting for the next surprise to hop out and kill them. Vinkheart may have been displeased at the fact he cut through the magic circles, but Diaev didn't think they were too vital, if what they were looking for was linked to the dark aura in this place, then it certainly wasn't here, it was further down. Diaev did many checks, making sure that no shadows were creeping or no mysterious doctors had come out to slice them up and use them as new, fresh experiments. He would make sure he was ready for that.
