As Diaev get poked here and there but nothing serious by the spears Vinkeart would wince here and there with each poke he got. However as they froze he would await Diaev's lead on this problem him being the man of metal. He seemed to have some idea on how to evade getting the spiked fly swatter to not smack them into a pin cushion. As Diaev would start to melt the hinges the metal grate would fall away from them, freeing them from possible spiked pain. With the trap taken care of they could continue but only for a good 15 feet before trouble brewed yet again. As holes openned up in the walls as they passed them but nothing but tiny rocks would roll out. However moments later after they had gotten a fair amount of distance the 6 holes that did open, would create something besides tiny rocks...large white fur balls. 6 of them would fall out and bounce on the ground once before taking a new form. Spoiler: click to toggle They would pause looking at Diaev and Vink for a moment before reaching into there fluffly furry bodies and 2 of them pulling for what looked to be cans of booze!? they would start to throw them a the duo! |

Diaev let out a sigh of relief as the trap fell off of it's hinges, half expecting for something crazy to happen and kill them both. The creepy vibe in this place was actually managing to make Diaev scared of things that he could take so easily before. Diaev moved forward and stepped through the spiked gate, making sure not to pierce his foot on it like an idiot, not that it would matter, his Iron Skin was still up. They walked along for a little while, it was still a rather silent walk, very eerie. As they got a bit away, the walls suddenly opened up and Diaev jumped back quickly, instinctively. He watched as furballs molded into large...ball of fur...things? The guy who made this place was obviously insanely creepy and weird, but well guarded for sure. The Iron Giant didn't fidget though, there was no time, beer cans were hurling towards them! Diaev knew immediately what he could do, something that wouldn't cost much but could be very effective. Then again, it could back fire and turn against them, but he had to try. As the beercans flew towards them, Diaev split it into tiny, small sharp blades, and then hurled the tiny weak blades back, aiming to stab the little fuckers in the eyes and face, if he could blind them, this would be a much easier battle. They'd need it too, because Diaev's Iron Skin just wore off and the poisoning hit him like a truck, the dizziness settling in like an old friend. "Poisoning..." Diaev grunted, barely able to see straight. "Finish them, quickly!" |

As Diaev sent the small tiny blades toward the fur demons they would scream and dance around as it would only blind three of them, with out delay Vinkheart gun was out again as he started to unload a bullet on each of the fur demons that were blinded. However the only one to fall would be the first one who was hit with a explosive shot. The perfectly fine three other fur demons would shoot forward toward Vinkheart. Raising his right hand he would charge his wind ring just as they got about close enough to spit on and unleash a gust of wind tossing them into the two blinded ones. As they rolled back into the two blinded ones Vinkheart would unleash the rest of his clip into the group of them, it hitting them unaccuratly but was hitting more then one at a time. Unsure if he actully took any out Vinkheart would pull his empty clip out and put his new one in. " Childs play " He would say as he cross his arms over each other, placing his gun next to his wind ring charged hand. Letting loose another half a dozen shots followed by a gust of wind for good measure to make sure they didnt get back up, but four were still moving a bit wounded but moving it seemed only a matter of time before they woulder get up. |

Diaev really couldn't do much at the time. He was a bit too dizzy to think straight. His head felt woozy, he felt light headed, when could he just hurry up and master this damn spell anyway? Diaev gripped his head and stumbled backwards, he was probably going to throw up again. He watched as Vinkheart unleashed hell on the monsters, two of them had been blinded by Diaev, thankfully, so it made his job a little easier. He managed to kill one off, but the rest seemed to be just wounded, not killed, and were still moving around. Was it always up to Diaev? The Iron Giant pulled out his guns, he emptied the magazine of the one he used before, firing nine shots into one of the mongrels, probably inaccurate due to his current state, and then reloaded it with a new clip. The Iron Giant then stood up, aimed towards the four of them and shot like a mad man, hoping to finish them off with these shots. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. The giant was woozy, but hopefully he would managed to make a few good hits on them whilst he emptied these two magazines into them. |

Vinkheart would join Diaev in the onslaught as he started firing off the rest of his clip into the fur demons too, explosions poping up now and again as explosive armor peircing rounds going off. Smoke and dust would kick up from the sure amount of force and gun fire being unloaded onto the creatures. As the smoke started to die down, Vinkheart would swap out the clip for a fresh one, making this is third clip so far, meaning he only had two clips left! As the smoke finally cleared nothing but mush of fur and flesh remained of the fur demons. It seemed as if the fur demons had been slain and taken care off for the time being. However Vinkheart was more concerned if Diaev was going to be able to continue. Turning toward Diaev and he finished placing his new clip in he would raise a eyebrow. " You ok now? " He would ask awaiting some sort of reply and idea that Diaev was ok. However before he could something in the pile of flesh and fur was moving, a single fur demon survied under the dead bodies of this comrades and would burst forth and charge in a frenzy toward the duo! |

Dust, smoke, blood, guts, you name it, it came out of that dust cloud. The sound of gunshots and explosions ran true throughout the corridor and the only thing Diaev could focus on was pulling the triggers on his gun, when he finally finished shooting with two empty mags, he panted slightly, exhausted from the dizziness and ordeal. He let the two empty mags fall to the ground, he put in a fresh pair, meaning he only had three full mags left, including the ones in his guns. Diaev blew the smoke away from the end of his guns and put them away, leaning against the wall for support. He shook his head at Vinkheart, he was recovering, but he still had a little to go. Diaev took another deep breath, clearing his mind slightly and nodded, as if he was ready to move on. "The dizziness is there, but it'll be gon-" Suddenly, out of nowhere the white furball shot up and ran towards the duo. As if instinctively, Diaev pulled out his knife, and threw it forward like a throwing knife, aiming right in between the monster's eyes and hopefully killing it. He was dizzy, but hopefully it would make it before their faces were mauled off, which wouldn't really be good for either of them. This was just another brilliant day, wasn't it? Demons, covered in blood, and about to throw up from Iron Poisoning, brilliant. |

Vinkheart would raise his hand and use a gust of wind to increase the power of the combat knife as it smacked into the fur monsters gut not it's head due to Diaev's dizziness. Letting out a deep breath Vinkheart would lower his arms finally starting to relax " I don't think he is getting up after that. " He would tell Dieav and lean against the wall himself. Slowly turning his head up ahead he could make out roughly the outline of a door. " Looks like there is finally a room upahead...hopefully no more traps like this crap, I can't quite keep up if the whole damn way if its like a marathon of magic. " he would tell him sweat on his forhead a bit and taking slowing but deep breaths. It would surely dawn on Diaev yet again that despite being a genius, manipultive and quite handy with a pistol and spell, Vinkheart wasn't able to sustain it for long with out needing a break, the young boys thin model body was not aimed for combat or prolong endurance of stress. Up ahead in the room it would look almost like a strange indoor forest as a good twenty of the demon forest trents from before seem planted here in a slumber like state thruout the room that wasnt tiled but dirt. Somewhere in this room hopefully there would be a exit. |

With the white furry...thing slain by Diaev's knife and Vinkheart's spell, this chapter of the demon crap was finally over. The Iron Giant stumbled over towards the monster and pulled the knife out, shoving it back into his belt. The dizziness had subsided, thank god. Diaev stood up straight and stretched, yawning. He took deep breaths in and out, this was actually pretty hard. Though they had just come across traps and a few demons, the monsters here were actually pretty tough, they proved to be a challenge, especially since they were barely into this large crypt, he was pretty unsure of how long it would take for them to even get out of this place, or even find what they were looking for. It just felt a tad impossible. Diaev stopped leaning on the wall and looked at the door at the end of the corridor, maybe this was the place they were looking for? He was hoping it was. The Giant gestured and slowly moved towards it. "Well, you're a genius, opportunistic bastard, I'll give you that, but you're not exactly strong are you?" Diaev asked, wondering where his special troop of soldiers had disappeared to. Diaev moved to the door and opened it quickly, looking inside. His eyes widened. Twenty of those treants?! Twenty?! Sure, the two back there were cake with icing but twenty of them without using explosive ability would be like trying to perform brain surgery with a bus! Though, they looked rather dormant, maybe they could sneak past instead of fighting. It was dirty and tactical, but it would have to do, Diaev whispered. "Think we can sneak through?" |

Vinkheart would just chuckle to Diaev's witty comment on vinkheart not being strong, it wasnt that he wasnt strong more so that he wasn't experinced and rarely had long drawn out fights, he prefered the suprise and ambush approach to things. As Dieav looked into the room, beholding the vast amount of demon trents Vinkheart would join him in the shock but with a deep breathe. Taking a step back he would ponder Diaev's question for a moment on a way to get passed them with out being detected, when they could be walking into a death trap since for all they knew the trents could spring to life at any moment or were watching them. Placing his thumb and index finger near his lips he would start to rub his thumb and index finger in a circle against each other as he went into a deep thought starting to pick apart every possiblity and recalling all information he had on this place and these demons. Recalling the two at the front on how they reacted to them moving towards the door, recalling how the othe two types of demons they fought acted, and how the book was written, vinkheart was taking everything into account along with possible logical guesses on how they could react. After only a moment Vinkheart would look to Diaev, his hand slowly going to his own side once again. " I've got a idea. " He would tell Diaev in a low voice. " Remove anything loose you have that bounce, for example your sword and carry it or secure it. " He would tell him as he would slowly move forward as Diaev did this stepping into the room, glancing around the room at the trents then the ground. " Don't step anywhere near anything plantlike in this room, and we should be fine. "he would tell Diaev as he started to slowly walk toward along the left edge of the room, keeping near the wall. |

Diaev could only stand and watch as Vinkheart thought about what they could do. It was a chance to catch his breath and was a pretty nice tiny break, but boy did he hate watching people think. The demons may have been waiting to trap them, but as long as they were expecting that they should be fine even if they were detected. Alternatively, they could have just charged in and got the element of surprise and got through as many as they possibly could, but they would need a few more people to pull that off successfully without over-exerting themselves. Well, he'd let Dexter do all the work, he was really just the muscle and probably the guy who would be killed at the end. Vinkheart did look surprisingly look a lot like some kind of dictator after all. Diaev stayed quiet, tempted to tap his foot from the boredom, but right, the monsters down there might wake up and screw them over. God, this was painful. Suddenly, Vinkheart began talking. It seemed they were sneaking through, Diaev just nodded and started making preperations. He sealed the leather scabbard that kept the sword to his back as tight as he could, he would have to cut it with the blade to get it off if shit stirred, but it shouldn't clank if he was careful. He picked up his guns however, holding them steady. He held out his automail and started to move along with Vinkheart gently, keeping towards the wall, it shouldn't clank as much if he kept it out stretched, but Diaev was very careful not to misstep or accidentally hit something with his arm. The results would be devastating right now. He also took shallow breaths too, just incase the treants were listening out for the sound of them breathing. He had never been so sneaky in all of his life. |
