It seemed Diaev caught onto Vinkheart's lead as he bolted toward the demon trent on the right with a heavy swing. His blade would sink into the trent bringing it off the ground however before his swing was done it would start spewing a swarm of leave toward Diaev! These leaves were like tiny razor blade as they shot toward Diave attempting to surely cover him in small cuts and scratches. Meanwhile the other Trent who would lunge its hand toward Vinkheart, its arm extending to reach him abnormally is if it grew. Smiling a bit Vinkheart would throw is arms up in the air skipping to the left " Ut oh " he would say bouncing slightly backwards on one foot for a moment before swinging his gun down and firing off a shot at the demon trent attached to Diaev's blade. It was a normal round but it would blast into its mouth were the leaves were coming out busting its head off. The demon trent attched to Diaev's blade now headless would fall to the ground off of Diaev's blade, leaving the other demon trent to still deal with as it start to open its mouth aiming to do the same thing the other one did but this time to both Diaev and Vink! |

Diaev watched the beast closely as he swung into it, his blade went right through the wood, and the Iron Giant let out a terrifying roar as he was slicing through it, suddenly though, its mouth opened. If there was one thing Diaev learnt, you never mess with a demon when it's mouth is damn open. Diaev removed the grip from his blade and used the momentum to fling himself away, leaving his sword inside of the treant. The Iron Giant hit the ground with an oof, narrowly avoiding the flood of leaves that intended to cut him the hell up. Though it wasn't over, the other treant was launching it's own leafy surprise. The metal door, if he was quick enough he could shield the two of them from the hit easily. Diaev focused, ripping the door off of it's hinges with his magic and quickly moving it right infront of the treant's mouth when it launched its attack, the leaves pounding right into. Diaev then slammed the door hard forward into the monster, hoping to slam it against the wall multiples times and hopefully kill it. "Die, die, die! Did you creepy twig piece of shit!" The Giant roared as he slammed the door harder and harder on the monster, eventually stopping and slowing down with a pant. |

Bark, leaves, and nothing but a empty tree husk in the shape of the demon remained of them both. One bashed to by the other head blown to bits and cut in half. They were liveless and dead, as if they were just empty tree's that had fallen over. With the door open a odd purple gas would slowly creep out seeming to start to disapaite and vanish as it touched fresh air. A few moments later the purple cloud was gone and the entry to the lab was open. Vinkheart's gun started to raddle as if there was a earthquack, however it wasnt the earth shaking it was Vinkheart himself, his whole body was shaking, pure excitement lightning up his eyes as if he was a 10 year old boy on chrismas day. " finally " he would say let out a jittery breath, his jaw quaking in excitement. " Inside this place Mr.Iron...the future of the country resides, the tools and information we need to create a brighter future for Fiore rests inside. You must understand how long ive waited for this.." he would say trying to get ahold of himself as his hand started to steady once again, the normal vink slowly returning. For a single moment the real Vinkheart would be there, when explaining to Diaev why he was so jitterly a boy not insane and crafty, but determined and lost stood before Diaev. Showing Diaev two very simple things. Vinkheart had a heart and he was very much human, it would seem Vinkheart was just overcome by his dream and drive to see it come full circle. With the moment passed Vinkheart would start walking toward the door waving his gun for Diaev to follow, this too was something surely to toss Diaev off, Vinkheart the fragile boy was taking point, walking into the pit full of demons and now unable to betray Diaev by leaving him behind. Upon entering they would find them selfs in a long underground corridor made of super thick concrete, as if it was made as a bunker or prison. As Vinkheart would continue down the passage way for a few minutes the next trouble would start. The sound of a mouse...a big mouse could be heard up ahead, but nothing seemed to be there, after a moment of looking ahead and behind two sets of eyes would appear in the darkness lightning up with the light shined in their direction. A moment later...the charge would begin... Spoiler: click to toggle

The Iron Giant released the door, just dropping it on top of the deceased tree-demon. It didn't take up too much magical power to do what he just did, but he was slightly out of breath for the harsh slamming he gave the disgusting being. He wiped the sweat off of his forehead with his automail, the cold steel cooling him down, ah, refreshing. This arm was like a walking ice pack, and didn't he love it? Slowly, the Iron Giant got up again, grabbing his sword from the dead treant and pulling it out harshly, watching some sap slip out of the wound. Disgusting. He wiped the flats of the blade on the bark, a dirty blade wasn't always a good one. As Diaev wiped his sword, he heard some rattling, realising it wasn't his own blade, nor was it his automail. He turned to face Vinkheart, who was actually shaking in either pure fear, or pure excitement. Though, upon on closer examination, his face had lit up with glee, he was like a kid at Christmas. Diaev just blinked at the man-child, he was getting creepier every time he met him, he wasn't sure if he could take a trouble child on right now, perhaps he should re-think the whole thing. "Don't call me Mr.Iron." Diaev said, skipping the more important parts of what Vinkheart said. Sure, he wouldn't mind the radical overhaul of the ridiculous knight system and its multiple flaws, and he would love to be a very high ranked military officer, don't get him wrong, but when you just had to kill two demon trees you weren't exactly going to enjoy talking about a huge radical change now, would you? Thankfully though, Vinkheart had displayed some actual emotion so now the giant was much less convinced he was a psychopathic serial murderer who wanted to just watch everything burned, before, he actually seemed rather heartless but that attitude was slowly beginning to morph. In fact, it was just pure truth that he was manipulative wanker who knew which opportunities to take and which to turn down. With a gulp, Diaev followed Vinkheart into the corridor. It went on for a few minutes, a long, silent walk, accompanied by the sounds of what sounded like a very large and angry mouse. Brilliant, this was a plethora of demons and evil shit. Diaev didn't feel like messing around with swords today,so he put his sword back on his back and just pulled out a single gun, aiming it forward. When the large mouse...thing came, he open fired like a madman, mainly aiming for it's skull, trying to take it out. Diaev would stop shooting after about eight rounds though. |

As Diaev started to unload some rounds into the bone mouse demons Vinkheart would put one hand over his ear to shield his hearing from the sound of the gun going off so close to his ear. However things would make a turn for a worse as every round hit its mark into the bone mouse demons head, but the bone was to thick for the bullets to get thru! The two demon bone mice would let out a growl of sorts before one raised the bone it was gnawling on and threw it like a boomerrang toward the two! Vinkheart would raise his pistola nd unload two rounds at the incoming bonerang, it only stopping it in its place after a explosive shot knocked it balance off. With the bone put to a stop the two demon mice started a full run charge toward the two men aiming to head but them both with a great power. " This doesn't seem good." Vinkheart would say as he raised his left hand it faintly glowing blue in the dark for a moment before Vinkheart unleash 8 blasts of blue energy the size of a large baseball at the creatures it only seeming to stagger them slightly once the energy was depleted from the ring they kept there charge on still aiming to headbutt them both! |

The Iron Giant could only snarl as his bullets were deflected, almost throwing away his gun in rage. He finished off the magazine, shooting in some sort of hopeless endeavour to kill them, or maybe blind them, but it didn't seem work. He considered the possibility of blowing them up with his rocket launcher, but considering they were underground he would probably end up doing more harm than good, he would end up crushing all of them with an attack like that. The Iron Giant was surprised to see a large bone being thrown towards them, though Vinkheart stopped it with his own gun, he watched as it dropped and fell to the floor, but was shocked to see them speedily approaching, he quickly looked, examining for their non-armoured parts. Back, and likely their stomachs. He knew now what he must do in order to defeat the demons, it was risky, but if he pulled it off, they might have just had a chance to win. The Iron Giant put his fun away, and pulled out his sword in his right hand, and his knife in his left. Suddenly, Diaev shot forward at max speed to meet the monsters. However, as he approached them, he jumped. Landing on the ridge of the skull just under the monster's eye, Diaev jumped up again, skillfully landing on the monster's back. He attempted to stab his sword deep into the monster's back, hold on for dear life, and stab the shit out of the monsters back before he was thrown off. Hopefully the demon on the left would now turn, giving Vinkheart a chance to shoot the hell out of the side of the monster. |

Vinkheart would take note as Diaev took the front, and pushed passed him to take the assault to the Demon bone mice. Duel wielding his knife and sword Diave jumped into the air avoiding a quick headbutt from one of the demon bone mice, only to land on the ridge of its head and then hop almost smashing his own head into the cieling to get onto its back as he would begin to basicly gut and stab the demon to death. However as Diaev landed on the back and started to stab the other demon bone mouse stopped and swung it might bone club right at Diaev at his own exsposed side. Vinkheart would take this moment to unload half a clip into the side of the Demon Bone Mouse creature, a few explosive armor piercing rounds going off, shredding its skin and making it spew blood everywhere, and to say the least onto Diaev. The battle would be over as both the monsters would be dead, but at what cost? Vinkheart would look to Diaev for a good minute waiting for him to say he was ok, or atleast give him a thumbs up, from there on Vinkheart would remove the clip he had in his pistol and begin to count how many shots he had left in it and if his next shot would be explosive round or normal. As they would have to be prepared from here on out as the passage way ahead was slighlty smaller it was 8 feet tall and 6 feet wide. Edited by Hasaki Ryo, Feb 16 2012, 09:56 PM.

Diaev stabbing away like a mad man at the beast, listening out in delight as it screamed in delicious and glorious pain, suddenly noticed something in his periphary. A bone club was coming straight towards him. Right now, Diaev wouldn't be able to react in time to simply jump away, he was taking this hit regardless. Diaev had a few options. He could either just take the hit and hoped he didn't die, he could try and stop it with one arm, having to hold on still by his large sword, or three, he could use Iron Skin and negate the majority of the damage and just get dizzy later on. He had to go with the third option, he doubted he could match this huge thing in strength, nor could he risk taking the hit full on, he would be half dead before they even started. Diaev quickly cast the spell, no magic circle appeared, it wasn't his style to go through all of that, his skin, except for his head, covered in a dark grey layer of Iron, his skin infused with the stuff. He threw his knife away and gripped the handle of the sword, pushing it in deeper and holding on for dear life. The bone made contact, slamming right into Diaev's torso. The armour did its job well. Though Diaev didn't want to cry out like a little bitch, he still did, though he was armoured, it still did hurt. Nothing was broken or internally damaged though, and soon after the big demonic mouse fell down from a few rounds of Vinkheart's pistol. Blood splattered over Diaev, who only barely managed to stay on his beast who had long dropped down, being slammed into a wall would just be too much to bear, especially if he slammed his head, his one weak point in this form. The Iron Giant panted and pulled his sword out after a few seconds, and picked his knife back up, dragging his sword along with him. He pushed the knife back into his belt and nodded to Vinkheart. "I'll be poisoned by the Iron soon." He stated rather bluntly, "but like this I'll only be dizzy at the most. So whatever comes next, we have to crush it quick." Then, Diaev began walking slowly, trying to regain some of his breath. |

Diaev was able to defend him self well against the bone club, but would face a greater threat later on hopefully not during a time of need. Vinkheart would nod to Diaev's explaination of his state and would follow close behind him as they continued slowly. Vinkheart would pay special attention to not get any of the demon blood on his expensive shoes as his tip toed a bit past the demon bone mice. As they continued past where the demon mice once feasted on bones, the sounds of turning gears smashing together and starting something mechancial up could be heard very slightly all around them. A few moments later spear like spikes would shoot forth thru what seemined at first random points of the tile, however after hte first few were explosed it seemed that had weak tile laid over them to hide the holes they were in. Vinkheart would seem to almost dance as they appear, seeming to spin, twist and hop out of the way of the spears as the sound of breaking tile was a give away and a savior as it delayed them a few seconds. Once they had danced and evaded the spikes once they would stay out, this mess of spike traps and the like would cover a 10 foot distance along the passage. And unlike the previous parts of the corridor and tunnel these spears were made of wood. Once thru the mess of spears a push tile would be trigger by both Diaev and Vink as they moved ahead, if one of them even moved off it a large snap gate would come down smacking metal spikes into them like a giant fly swatter. " Any Idea's " Vink would ask Dieav as he stood froze in place. |

Diaev put his sword back on his back and walked forward, obviously having the torch, he would be the one who would have to go forward, he was also the stronger of the pair, so it was better if a speeding truck of a demon slammed into him rather than Vinkheart, who would probably break every bone in his body. It was actually rather troublesome though, if a trap were to spring up he would be the one to take the brunt of a rockslide, spike pit or a pendulum. This pissed Diaev off quite a bit, he didn't want to keel over before Vinkheart, it seemed out of order, if anyone were to die it should have been him for starting this whole thing. Diaev was just brought in through collateral damage from a threat, it's not like he actually wanted to do this. Or was it? He hated being in his own head, he actually craved a cigarette right now, but he wasn't sure if there was trapped gas in here or not, he didn't want to light a cigarette and find out that he had just gone and killed himself. Too suddenly in his thought, Diaev heard the sound of cracking and the first curse that came into his mind was 'shit'. Spears shot out of the ground and Diaev danced through them quickly, he was too big, so some hit his vest, causing minor damage to it, but he made sure to not get his skin armour hit, a dent in the skin was actually really fucking painful. After they finished their spike dance, Diaev took a deep breath and carried on like nothing happened. Suddenly however, he heard the push of pressure plate below his feet. Damn clever mages of old! Diaev was frozen, but nothing happened. Right, they couldn't step off. He looked forward quickly and saw a spiked gate, and Vinkheart asked if he had an idea of what he could do next. He looked at the hinges. He'd snap them, no, melt them, that was WAY cooler. Diaev gave a brief nod. "Just watch." He said, an aura of confidence about him. "If it snaps forward for some reason, use that wind thing and hold it back." Diaev focused on the hinges, sending his magic to them and slowly melting them. |
