“This couldn’t get much worse, could it.” Addam said in a muffled voice into the surprisingly soft carpet that he was sure was made from a plush material, Happy enough about that fact due to him not ending up with a bruised face, however still not scrape free, the Teddolas version of Carpet burn taking effect as the right side of Addam’s face flared up red. Just as the young knight was about to do his usual sigh and push himself up, a weight landed on his back and he was once again pushed forward into the carpet, this time having the right side of his face being pushed forward, making it seem that Addam was some sort of sport’s fan who has painted his face in the team colours of Two red stripes and a white one in the middle. “I have to talk don’t I...” Addam sighed, not moving for awhile, thinking himself jinxed due to his unfortunate balance problems.

“Is the chubby one always like this?” The doll asked to herself, Addam could feel the eyes on the back of his head as Noel apologised and pulled himself up. All Addam wanted to do was to Scream ‘I AM NOT CHUBBY!’ as it was a rather unwanted reminder of the incident of him being stuck in the wall earlier, Instead he pushed himself up, it was a rather wobbly attempt, but due to the fact the wall was there for support, Addam was able to make it upright, “Thank you for letting us in.” Addam Grumbled, still not sure on if this Doll was going to try something tricky or not. However he still moved forward with Noel, trying as hard as he could to remain looking as though nothing was wrong, however he was sure there was something with this world effecting his balance, he had injured his feet back in the normal world many times, it simply made walking painful, not difficult.

The fact was, glancing down at his feet, he couldn’t feel any pain anymore, as though they had never been injured on the lego floor, but they still looked slightly swollen, deciding not to say anything as it may worry Noel, Addam simply kept on walking until they were shown to a sofa, taking the opportunity, Addam almost threw himself onto it, But being in someone- something else’s house, he slowed his decent to an eager sit, “OW!” Addam yelled as his bottom came into contact with something rather sharp, pulling up almost immediately, Addam stood there with a Hole in his pants where the corner of a Lego made knitting needle caught on it. “Why is it always me...” Addam sighed, Quickly feeling, there was no mark there besides a small scratch that hadn’t broken the skin, it had more been the shock, taking a seat next to Noel this time, as his last had been on the Sofa opposite him, Addam sat and surveyed the room, not even noticing the tea that was being poured for them.

“Now then, I expect that you are looking for some answers, are you not?” The Doll asked, taking a seat where Addam had just previously tried to sit down, Addam looked at her slightly shocked, he wasn’t sure if she was actually helping them or he was having another Teddolas relapse. “C-Can you tell what’s wrong with us?” Addam asked, this would be the question that would decide if they could trust her, everyone so far they had met, from the Penguin to the other plushies on the Streets of Teddo-Crocus all thought their Human parts were abnormal, if she did also, this doll then they would have to run for it.

“What’s wrong is that you aren’t drinking your tea up, you will make me feel like a bad hostess.” The doll said, gulping slightly, Addam took the cup he just noticed was in front of him with two hands and while doing so looked over to Noel to see what Tiger boy was doing.

Staring down at the empty cup in front of him, Noel didn't quite know how to react. For a moment or two, he'd even considered telling the doll that she'd forgotten to pour some tea into their cups, but then he realized mentioning it might not be the best idea. For some reason, he believed the doll would have reacted in the same way as all the other toys after the two of them had pointed such peculiar, rather unnatural thing to them; by shrugging it off by either changing the topic of the conversation, or telling them that they were the ones who weren't normal - though not as nearly as directly as that, but rather than that much more indirectly and using a set of sickly sweet words that were making the younger boy's stomach turn as he listened to them. Surprisingly enough, despite the fact that Noel loved cute things, there was surely a border as to how far things could possibly go. And Teddolas had long ago passed that border, going rather quickly from cute to quite creepy in Noel's mind, not just because of the way all these toys behaved, but simply because their time was slowly running out and they were having less and less time to get back to their real world.

Because of that, Noel had rather awkwardly took ahold of the tea cup in front of him, just like the doll would expected him to. Slowly, he brought the empty cup towards his mouth. "Be careful, it's still hot," the doll said, making Noel almost shudder as it said that. "Oi, oi, watch out there, or you're going to spill the tea!" the doll said then, making Noel's eyes widen a bit with disbelief at the fact that the doll was still going on with that; he glanced over to where Addam was sitting on the couch near him to see how he was going to react. Naturally, he didn't expect him to say much, or anything to be honest, not just because there was no point in saying something to begin with, but simply because they were there for another reason than to worry about some non-existent tea. Half-heartedly, the boy brought the tea cup to his mouth and pretended like he was making a sip from it, even though he could feel his lips were pressed against an empty cup, and there was liquid entering his mouth whatsoever. Still, he'd decided to play that game for now, and he'd even made it seem like he was sipping the 'tea' carefully, making his act more so believable.

"That's a good tiger, yes," the doll said, making Noel almost choke; though there was nothing really to choke on, since it wasn't like there was actually anything inside his mouth. Putting the tea cup down onto the small plate on the table, he leaned against the soft couch, raising his butt a little bit to free the tail that he'd unintentionally sat on earlier, realizing much to his dismay that he was actually feeling uncomfortable if he was sitting on it. "Well, we've come here for a certain reason, like my friend here had already told you," Noel repeated then, hoping that nothing else would distract them from their conversation once again. He glanced briefly at Addam, so as to confirm that what he was trying to say was indeed true. "Basically, we're just trying to find out more about this world, and we were hoping to run into someone that would be willing to enlighten us in that regard. We're not from here, and we're very much aware of that. All we want, is to return back home, to Earthland. So far, the plushies and other toys in this world have been doing everything in their power to keep us here for as long as they possibly can.. We've also figured out that what they're trying to do, is to keep us here long enough for our transformations to complete so that we'd turn into plushies as well.

We don't know why this is happening, or if there's any way to stop it. But if there is, and if there's even a remote, small chance for us to be able to find our way back home, we humbly ask you for help. You're truly our only hope at this point,"
the boy said heart-tearingly, and both Addam and the doll would be able to tell that he really meant what he'd said. If they'd glanced out of the window, they'd be able to see that the sun had already set; and they only had until sunrise to get back home. The time was running, and they definitely didn't have more of it to waste, or to try and find someone else to help them. The doll was truly their last, and only hope.

Addam simply sat there, wondering if they would get out of this world and if this doll would end up helping them at all, or just be yet another time sink, all that he could do was hope for the best, but not fall into a sense of security, he knew that his bow was little use against the creatures of this world, but he clung tight to it, as it offered his reassurance that for the time being he was still here and he was still a knight, a human knight, one of Fiore and not of Teddolas.

The words came easy in his head, but believing them was another matter, he was aware of things he shouldn’t be, how his tail rested on the seat, how every so often his ears twitched and the changes to his face. “Huh?” He said quietly, looking over at what Noel was drinking, he hadn’t taken much notice to what the doll had placed on the table, as he had been concerned with keeping his eyes on the window behind, ensuring that no nutcracker-esqu figures crossed it. But now that he did see, he was shocked abut what he didn’t see. What should had been in the tea cup, a brownish liquid, was missing, and on top of that Noel and the doll were acting like it was some sort of tea part as she made sure he didn’t burn himself on nothing and Noel sipped away as under instruction.

As the doll turned to him, expecting the knight to also pick up his tea and idly sip away at it, Addam’s ears flopped and a sense of awkwardness worry spread across his face as he didn’t want to offend the wo- thing that would help them. “I... I ermm..” He said, scratching his hair as he thought up a valid excuse. “I erm... I don’t like tea.” He said, relieved he said something that didn’t turn out to be nonsense. However it still didn’t alleviate the guilt of not drinking the tea, Addam felt as though he had wronged her slightly. “Alright, I’ll try a bit.” He said in a low voice, forfeiting to the look from the doll, Taking the cup he raised it to his mouth and took a faux sip of it, before placing back down on the saucer it had been delivered on. “Thank you.” He said.

He wasn’t sure what to do next, his face was red from embarrassment of the situation and he couldn’t even imagine himself talking, however he didn’t need to, Noel suddenly stared to talk, and through the speech he gave afterwards, it gave Addam the realisation that his self pity before was unfounded, a remembrance that they were both in the same position and that Noel hadn’t seemed to give up so far, and he had no right to drag him behind by acting the way he did.

I know it may sound odd.” Addam started to say afterward, placing his hand upon Noel’s shoulder next to him, to show the reassurance that he was there for the not much younger boy. “But, we want to be home, our real home where Lego is only found in children’s play sets, Where we don’t have to worry about becoming plush toys. Can you help us?” Addam said, looking at her pleadingly, not sure what her reaction would be.

A minute of silence seemed to pass where the doll thought through things, All Addam wanted to do was to stand up and rattle her so she would respond quicker, it was apparent to them both that time was running out, and if it did hit 0... “I never had the same thing as you two had.” The doll said, at that Addam’s ears popped up in attention as he shifted his head from looking at the night sky outside the window back into the room. “When I first came to Teddolas, I was immediately turned into a toy, that’s the way it was for a long time, until people started to want to leave. Then the Emperor of Teddolas, he changed this spell, so all new people to enter would find it the most magical and wondrous place ever and not want to leave, but it takes time to change what a person believes in, and that is why it takes time for the new people to come into the world to change.” The doll said, her voice showing her hurt at what had happened.

For a split second, Noel was afraid both of them may have said a bit too much, and that the doll would stand up any second and call for authorities. If something like that happened, Noel doubted they would've been able to get away. Surrounded in a small house like this from all sides, they would have nowhere to run, and since their powers were unable to outright harm the plushies, they couldn't count on fighting their way out of the house. Yes, they risked a lot by trusting this doll and telling her their whole story, but so far she was their only real hope. If they wasted any more time here, they could just as well say goodbye to their own worlds and make themselves comfortable in this weird fairy tale, if they could ever actually do that. Perhaps once they did turn into plushies, things that would otherwise freak them out, would slowly start to become normal to the two of them as well, just like they were to the rest of the inhabitants of this world.

Luckily though, all of these worries were completely unnecessary. As the doll spoke, she wasn't sounding hostile, but rather sad, and spent. It was almost as she didn't want to remember the past that Addam had asked her about, or that she'd buried it deep into her soul a long time ago, making it even more so painful to bring it up at this point. If all of this world's inhabitants were having such problems talking about that, there was no wonder none of them had wanted to help them up until now.

Her story was short, but more sad than Noel had ever thought it to be. "So.. you've been a human once, too?" he asked quietly, looking at the doll. "We've all been," the doll replied, looking down at the empty cup in front of her. "And upon coming into this world, all of us had been, sooner or later, turned into various different toys.." she told them, making the young Mind mage gasp. "S-So.. the penguin.. the nutcracker soldiers.." he started to count, but the doll had interrupted him: "Yes.. Even the Teddolas Emperor had once been a human. But that was a long, long time ago, even before I came here forty years ago.."

F-Forty years..!? Is that how long you've been here for..?!" Noel yelped, jumping on his feet, his whiskers twitching in disbelief, while his fluffy tail swung behind him. "W-We need to get you back home, then..! It's about time!" he said. The doll just smiled. "I am home, though. Teddolas is my home now," she said, seeing Noel's rather disappointed look on his face. "Just like you consider Earthland your home, Teddolas has become mine over the years.. I don't want to go back to Earthland anymore," she said.

It took the boy a few moments to realize what she'd meant with those words. Glancing sideways at Addam helplessly to see what he was going to say, he finally turned back towards the doll. "I... I see. B-But, we still want to get back to Earthland, no matter what. And we need to know if you can tell us, how," he said.

Addam looked ahead to the cup that he had just previously put down, not sure what to expect next, he had wanted to make what they wanted to ask subtle until he was sure of the doll’s perceptions on things, however With Noel’s out burst followed by his own he wasn’t sure what to think now, it was either going to end well, with them getting what they wanted or they would be told out and end up having to run away again with more time wasted or caught and end up as toyish as the rest of the world.

The young knight simply wanted to run as fast as he could in any direction, but nerves kept him from being able to move, he was unable to look from the tea cup and for a secondly slightly panicked more thinking that Teddolas was taking hold of him, but when he finally twisted his head around to glance at noel, he saw out the corner of his eye that the outside street was clear, no hordes of nutcracker soldiers waiting for him.

He let out a large sigh when the Doll finally started to talk, saying how she remembered coming to this world, and that she didn’t want to leave, despite that she didn’t seem hostile to the thought of them wanting to leave, not that anything yet in the world had been hostile, forceful was one thing, such as the penguin, or persistent like the nutcrackers. Addam ruffled his own hair with both hands and then covered his face, for a second he almost allowed himself to slip into the thinking that Teddolas wasn’t so bad.

“I know you may like it here, but we just want to go home. No matter what the others we have met have said, I don’t want to live in a place where I am forced to like it, I promised Noel that I would get him out and I’m not letting anything get in my way.” Addam said with determination, he had enough of self pity, enough of nerves enough trying to convince himself otherwise that they were in danger, he was a Knight and he would do what was needed. “DO you know a way or not?” He asked, standing up as he did so, if the answer was no then he was going to simply walk out and find someone who did.

The doll looked at him for a moment with the unchanging face before finally answering his and Noel’s Question. “The same way we all got here, The book Teddolas, there exists a copy in this world in the royal library if I remember correctly. Those who caused such trouble were sent back but now everyone agrees with this world so nobody can get close to it.” She said waiting a moment before she continued. “The problem is that with the new spell that causes people to slowly become a Teddolasian, once fully transformed the book no longer works as you must want to leave.” She informed them.

Addam sat back down as she gestured to them that there may be more they wished to know, this was the one solid piece of information they had gotten, but what was implied was that they would have to go back to the city where the guards were most likely looking for them to return home. Sighing slightly he looked back to the doll, hoping to hear more good news. “You have perhaps until noon tomorrow until you are stuck here, well it may be earlier depending on how long ago you got here.” She said thinking to herself. “Dawn, we have until dawn.” Addam told her, this was the information they had lifted from the Penguin and was an indication of how long they had left.

There was a moment of silence after Addam had revealed how much time the two of them had left. Of course both him and Noel knew they had until dawn because the penguin had revealed it to them during their short talk back in Teddo-Crocus, but both had seemed to forgotten about it during the course of their journey to this small town in hopes of finding someone who would be able to help them. Hearing it said so bluntly all of a sudden was almost like a stab to their still-human hearts, and involuntarily, Noel's whiskers had twitched at the mention of the time limit. Still, he knew that the issue had to be addressed - not thinking about it wasn't going to make it go away. The doll didn't seem too pleased when she heard about their lack of time. Normally, the two would have had a full day from the time they entered the Teddolas realm until their transformation was complete, but that was applicable only in case they had been careful enough not to let themselves get affected by anything that would speed up their transformation.

"I see. So you only have until dawn.. That means the time until the end of your transformation has been shortened because of something that has sped up your transformation. Say, have you been, by any chance, munching on some plushie food since the time you had entered this world?" the doll asked them. Noel glanced over towards Addam, and then back at her. A moment of silence passed, before he finally reached in his pocket, pulling out a plushie fish. As soon as his eyes set on it, though, they widened with sudden hunger, and he was about to bite onto it, but the doll was quick enough to pull it out of his hands.

"I've thought so. These plushies are enchanted," she said, observing as a look of surprise crossed the young Mind-mage's face. "The emperor of Teddolas has been doing everything in his power to speed up the transformations of those who enter this world, and these plushies are one of his creations. They are magical items, enhanced with the magical energy that makes those, who bite on them, addicted to it.

It may have seemed to you that these plushies are just fluff and nothing else, and that they aren't making you any less hungry, but in truth, they're letting out magical substances that are slowly speeding up your transformations. That's why your time has been shortened, and if you really wish to get out of this place, I suggest you either throw them away, or make sure you never munch on them again,"
the doll finally said. Noe was quiet for a little bit, not really knowing what to say. Finally, he was able to find his voice. "If that's so.. can you take care of these plushies for us? I think that if we promised to throw them away, he'd just end up finding an excuse to keep them, but if you take them away from us, then we won't have to worry about them anymore.." he said.

The doll nodded, her eyes that were actually two big buttons, looking at Addam now. "I can do that. Well, the tiger boy has already given me his, but if you really want me to take care of it, you will have to give me yours as well, bunny boy," she said. She extended her hand out towards the young knight, as if asking him to hand her over the plushie he was holding onto. "Come on, don't be shy. I know you have it hidden somewhere, just like your buddy had it. Whip it out, and give it to me," she said nicely, still holding one of her hands out towards him, while she took the cup into her other hand, taking a small 'sip' from the empty cup before setting it down on the table.

Addam listened to the explanation of why apparently their transformation was speeded, the plushie items that had been forced onto them by the Penguin plushie when they first arrived, now because of that they had lost time that they could have used to help their own escape efforts. “Damn it, Why did we follow that penguin.” Addam said, clearly frustrated as he was the one who had said that it would be the best idea at the time to talk to and follow him, Blaming himself for what had happened. “I’m sorry Noel, it’s my fault we have less time to escape from here.” He said as he pulled the Carrot plushie he had been holding onto for some time from his quiver, there was enough room for it and he hadn’t cared about not being able to as easily access the arrows due to the fact they were useless here.

Handing over the plushie to the Doll with his outstretched hand, knowing it was the best thing to do in this situation even though a small voice in the back of his head screamed at him not to do so, She finally grabbed the green felt at the end, As Addam let go, the plushie fell onto the table, knocking over the empty tea cup from the lego platform and sent it hurtling down on to Addam’s tender food. “Ow. Ow, ow, ow” He sounded after it hit, him not being quick enough with his reactions. It wasn’t exactly heavy, but the pointed parts of the lego ramming into his already sore foot didn’t help things.

“Let me see your foot.” The Doll said, Addam not hearing it as she grasped his right foot pulling it upwards this came with a surge of pain as she pressed down on it. It took Addam a while to realise she was examining it with her unchanging face. “What are you doi-“ However he was stopped mid sentence as she once again applied slight pressure to it, the bottom of the foot had become slightly numb with the walking, however the top was still rather tender. “It seems as though you won’t have foot trouble much longer.” The doll said in a slightly saddened voice, carefully placing the foot back onto the floor and Addam leaning back happy to no longer be the person under pain inspection. “You seem to have your next part to change to be your feet. I don’t think it will be too far away.” She said, it took a few seconds to register what she had said, He was going to have bunny feet...

He simply stared at her for an elongated moment before turning to Noel. “I would say both of you actually, You both entered around the same time and have had the same amount of exposure if I am to understand correctly.” She finished before tucking away the Plushies in a small box that she slid out from under the sofa she was sat on. “But, you still have time, If you truly want to leave you will need to find help to get to the book that will allow you to return home. Luckily there are those who wish to stand against the way things are at this time, and so the best thing would be to contact them and ask them for help.” The doll told of, hope rising slightly in her voice, it was clear that no matter the fact she wished to stay, she wished for the two to return to their own homes. “But, there are a few things I must warn you about not doing, The transformation can still speed up and you only have to much time left.” As the doll glanced out of the window to see the dark sky.

Addam wasn’t sure what to think of, she had told them that there was a way that they could perhaps escape with help which was indeed important, but on the same note there were things to do to insure they didn’t lose more time than they already had. “What do we need to stay away from?” Addam finally asked, deciding the best thing was to buy themselves time.

“Food from this world will cause you to fall under it’s spell at an increased rate, so will sleeping you must never sleep here no matter how tired you get.” Both of these things being what Addam and Noel had already done, most likely the cause for their increased rate of transformation thought Addam. “You must never kiss another Plushie, to fall in Love or be dragged into it here is a trap many can fall into, and you must never be violent, this world acts against such things and it’s spells will once again tighten around you.”

"We're not supposed to.. kiss a plushie..?" Noel repeated, his eyes widening a bit and his whiskers twitching slightly, rubbing his cheeks so that he had to scratch the itchy place. He could understand why they weren't supposed to nibble on the plush toys, considering there was a magical spell cast on them in order to speed up the process of their transformation. He could also understand why they weren't supposed to fall asleep, given the fact that every minute was valuable, so wasting a couple of hours by doing nothing else but sleeping could be vitally dangerous in their quest to return back home to Earthland. But just what did smooching another plushie have to do with all of this..? Surely a single kiss couldn't do any damage to them? Besides.. Why was the doll even warning them about this? It wasn't like the two had any intention of kissing the plush toys of this world, in fact that was the last thing that would've come to Noel's mind at this point..

But then again, most probably the doll had a reason to warn them about it. It was always better to be more careful, even if it seemed like her warning was unneeded. "Well, erm.. We haven't thanked you yet for telling us all this useful information," Noel said a bit awkwardly then, his tiger ears drooping a little bit as he blushed, "So, umm.. t-thank you," he uttered, trying to smile at the doll. The doll just gave out a raspy chuckle, picking up the small cup from the table, before replying: "You're welcome," she said, then pointed at Addam's and Noel's cup of 'tea', "Now please, help yourself," she told them, and Noel reluctantly lifted his cup from the table and made a small sip of nothingness before placing it back down onto the table.

Once he'd done that, he remembered it would be good to ask the doll about a few more things that they needed to find out. After all, the doll seemed to know a lot about this strange world, which was quite understandable considering how long she'd been here for. That aside, she was willing to help them, which was quite a rarity in Teddolas. They had to take advantage of any such situations, knowing fully well that they probably wouldn't have a chance to ask someone from this world for any help in quite a while after they left this place. "I have a few more questions, if you don't mind.." the boy said as such, looking at the doll. "Alright. What is it that you want to know, tiger boy?" she asked, making Noel's whiskers twitch once again in half-annoyance, while his tail had curled around the leg of the sofa they were sitting on.

"Well.." Noel started, trying to ignore the title that the doll had given him, despite the embarrassment and annoyance he felt when hearing it. "You had mentioned something earlier about a group that is standing up against the things as they are.. Can you tell us more about them?" the boy asked. "What would the tiger boy want to know?" the doll replied, making the young Mind mage twitch with annoyance, though he didn't say anything. "Well, for example.. What are they called, and where can we meet them?" The doll gave it a bit of thought before replying: "Well, they're called the Teddy resistance," she said, "And they're led by a teddybear named Ted D. You should look for him first, and I'm sure he will be able to help you out.

The resistance is located in the Lancarri Jungle not too far from here to the east. You should be able to get there on foot in less than an hour,"
she said. Just as she finished speaking, voices could be heard coming from the outside. At some point, a nutcracker's head could be seen rushing past the window of the house they were in, and Noel panicked. "They're already looking for us..! Addam, we need to go!" he exclaimed, jumping on his feet.

Addam dropped his head, thinking about all that had happened. “We attempted to cut the Penguin plushie’s arms off to escape but they just grew back. They don’t seem to feel any pain.” Addam said, trying to enquire about the point more, to see of there were any way that they could have some offensive capabilities against the toys of this world. “You attacked a toy, not a wise move that is most likely why your transformations have accelerated, but everything plushie in the world is unable to be hurt, the spells of Teddolas weave around things so nothing can die here or be truley broken. Even the Elite guard use weapons that capture and don’t main.” The doll said before quickly standing up and Ruffling Noel’s and Addam’s hair.“I know that neither of you want to stay and I wish you the best of luck. But do understand from the moment your transformation truly started, you have both been plushies, You human forms will change until you haven’t forgotten about them, but no longer care about them. From the moment you stepped into this world you have been plushie residents of Teddolas” She said, her voice heavy with regret, obviously wishing that it wasn’t so for the pair.

“We’ve already gone and acted against Plushies, that’s one of the four things. After that we had the Plushie food so there are two counts then we slept when we first entered the world and then after when we escaped the city.” Addam listed to himself out loud, all the things they didn’t know they shouldn’t do had already started to add up against them. He still felt at fault for all of this, if he hadn’t had told noel the shop was open, the boy wouldn’t be in this situation.

“Yes, about these people?” Addam asked just after Noel, curious who else in this world would be able to help them out of this. He ignored the naming of them, as he was more concerned with what they did at this point. “The Lancarri Jungle isn’t the smallest of places and if we only have a night...” Addam said, thinking back to the time not too long before all of this that he had to wade through the Lancarri jungle for training, there were indeed many places even a small army could hide. “We need some more direct directions than that.” He continued, worried about the time and how little they had left. “I don’t know, but they will find you, you are not exactly ones to blend into this world.” She said as Addam looked down to his human hands, the warm yet slightly rough touch giving him comfort that there was still hope.

“They found us already?” Addam said, twisting his head to see a hat of a nutcracker go past the window, from Addam’s thoughts it seemed like they were either trying to surround them, in which case they had just failed by being seen and giving the pain an opportunity to escape or they were searching all over the town for them. “DO you have a back door?” Addam asked, their best chances were staying off of the main streets, the houses were all detached so using the roves was going to be too much hassle. Addam grabbed Noel’s hand tightly, knowing that being captured now would delay them too much. “If we don’t get there quickly, we may as well say goodbye to the idea of returning.” As he pulled Noel after the Doll who was walking towards the kitchen, picking up his bow and quiver as he went, ignoring the throb of his feet as his foot fall increased in pressure due to the slight run.

Once they reached the kitchen, the doll lifted a latch on the back door made out of what appeared to be wood styled lego bricks. “I wish you both luck.” She said, quickly giving them a small nod as Addam pulled Noel out into the back garden, a small door at the end of it leading to the alley that ran behind the back of the housing was slightly ajar.

“Open up! On commands of the Emperor of Teddolas, we are looking for new citizens who escaped to this town!” A voice called out in conjunction with a knocking, from the sounds of it they were knocking at the Dolls front door and they had gotten out of the house just in time. “Come on, back to thought only.” Addam said, this was going to be their next escape attempt.

“W-woah..!“ Noel exclaimed as he was pulled onto his feet by Addam. The young bunny knight heeded the doll's warning, taking it very seriously. And how good for them that he did because it wasn't long after that when guards began to knock on the main door. By that time, the two boys from Earthland had already left through the back door, finding themselves on the doll's backyard. They could hear the soldiers rustling about in the house they've entered and asking the doll some questions while they were searching for the duo. The two would have barely a minute or so before the soldiers would remember checking the backyard as well. Addam knew that, which was why he was practically dragging Noel behind him, with the boy still surprised by the sudden turn of events so that he let himself be pulled behind by his knight saviour - at least until they reached the fence that divided the doll's backyard from the entrance to the rainforest which marked the beginning of the Lancarri Jungle. That was where Addam had to release Noel's hand for a little while, so that each of them would be able to climb across it on their own.

Noel jumped up and got ahold of the top of the fence, then put his feet into the small holes in the fence to get a strong grip on it, allowing him to be able to pull himself up easily. First came one of his legs, then his body and arms, and finally the other leg. While he was still holding the top of the fence with his hands, he propelled himself away from it with his feet, landing on the soft ground below - all of that just in time to hide behind the lego fence from the view of the soldiers that barged outside just a moment later. “Soldiers! Search for them at once! They have to be around here somewhere!“ Luckily, Addam had already landed on the lego grass next to the young Mind mage, so that neither of them could be seen by the soldiers that had gotten out of the house and were searching the backyard. The two were situated behind the high fence, through the cracks of which they could observe the nutcracker soldiers walking across the backyard funnily like these toys did, looking into every crack, no matter how small it was, as if they believed that the two could be hiding there.

Noel realized they had only so much time to get away from there before the soldiers would finish checking the backyard and proceeded to look for them behind the fence where they were hiding. "We need to get out of here.." Noel's voice could be heard within Addam's mind, as the young Mind mage glanced over at the crouching knight, his own whiskers twitching a bit in conjunction with his heart that was thumping against his chest because of all the nervousness. They couldn't let themselves get caught at this point, they simply couldn't. Luckily for the two of them, the place near the fence was filled with low bushes that were placed and scattered all around the place, until they reached the first lego trees that marked the entrance to the Teddo-Lancarri Jungle. "Come on, let's go..!"

With that, the boy grabbed Addam's wrist, pulling him behind him through the bushes. They remained in the crouching position, so that the nutcracker soldiers wouldn't see them over the fence. Moving through the bushes wasn't that bad, as it was a bit painful because of the lego blocks that kept brushing against their body, but the good thing was that they weren't rustling, like the real leaves would be. Because of that, the two were able to move through rather silently, slowly nearing the entrance to the rainforest up ahead, on their way to safety. Well, safety from the nutcracker soldiers who weren't going to follow them in there.. At the same time, though, they had absolutely no idea what would await for them in there, and whether this place was even safe. And most importantly, were they really going to find what they were searching for in there?

Well, they could only find that out one way. By entering the Lancarri Jungle.
