Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Addam started walking forward, he wasn’t going to let everything get to him, “Don’t worry about me, remember I promised to get you out of here and I need to get that teddy and take it back to Chrysanthemum for a little girl’s birthday present. This just makes it more interesting. I told you I like books, this is just like one of those stories where you read it and wish you could be part of it. Be the hero who fixes everything.” Addam said, smiling widely at Noel. He was putting his effort into walking ahead, and as he tried to cheer himself up, taking his mind of the bad and seeing it in a different way walking became easier as though the worries had been lifted from him.

“If it becomes difficult again, I will tell you, but if you need to rest at anytime, tell me. We are something of a team and we will get through this together. Right?”
He asked Noel. He honestly wanted to get answers and find a way out but he was sure that this world was working against them.

Continuing to walk on with Noel, Addam suddenly looked at him and laughed slightly. “The knight’s academy hasn’t prepared my for a magical world where people become plush toys, when I get back I may ask them to try and include it in the syllabus, what do you think?” Addam said, he wanted to get past the previous happenings, and the best way he knew was to take him mind off of it with conversation. “Oh, that Mind talk thing back there, you’re a mage right? What’s your magic anyway?” Addam said intrigued, sure he had seen mages before, they weren’t rare in Fiore. “I haven’t talked to many mages before, most tend to stay away from Chrysanthemum and besides a few words to one or having to work with one for an hour or so...” Addam said scratching the back of his head. “But ye’ when I was young I thought about seeing if I could do magic, but did...” Addam said laughing nervously. Not sure how Noel would react to a non-mage person. He had run into some mages who thought themselves better than others because of their use of magic. Not that he thought Noel would be horrid about it, he was simply curious.

Giving off a weak smile towards the young knight, Noel said: "Don't worry about me. I know the knight in shining armor is going to bring me back home, no matter what happens." He let out a soft giggle; he kinda liked to tease Addam for some reason. If anything, it amused him greatly whenever he saw the other boy frustrated. His grumpy remarks and frowny face were making the young mage giggle, which could only be a good thing in this weird toy world. Well, it wasn't that weird now that Noel thought about it. The whole place was actually more than pleasant. Even more so than Earthland, which seemed to be so boring and uninteresti-..

Shaking his head wildly to make these planted thoughts go away, Noel blinked a couple of times. His plushie tiger ears wiggled a little bit, and he said with a smile: "Yep, we're the heroes of this story! Tiger-boy Noel and bunny knight Addam to the rescue..!" In the next moment, his eyes widened, causing his whiskers to twitch a little bit as he realized what he'd said. "I m-mean.. T-That's not what I meant to say.." he added quietly, dropping his gaze down to the ground in shame, his tiger ears drooping over his head as well in relation to his mood. Even his tail had dropped closer to the ground, and was now pulled up against his leg in a slightly defensive fashion, as if he felt he'd done or said something that he really shouldn't have.

Thankfully, the conversation moved along as soon as the two boys began with their descend towards the valley below. Grabbing this opportunity, Noel was quick to answer the questions Addam had asked. "Yep, I'm a mage," he replied optimistically, his mood having lifted as quickly as it had gotten worse earlier. "The words you heard in your mind earlier were transferred there through the use of my Telepathy technique. I'm a Mind mage," he told him, letting out a small smile. "But I'm not really that good at it.." he continued, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment. "I feel like there's so much more I could do, but.. I guess I'm just too weak.." he said embarrassedly, biting his lower lip at that. Glancing up at the older knight, Noel's eyes flickered with excitement. "I've always looked up to knights, though..! You guys are truly amazing, going on all these dangerous assignments, helping out poor civilians and saving the day.. It must be so exciting!"

Addam couldn’t help but stop when he heard what Noel said, it was as though someone had hit him in the stomach... “I’m not a bunny knight...” He said, if it were another person plushie, he may have shouted but this was Noel and he couldn’t do that. So sighing heavily he gave Noel a small warning glare. “I’m just a knight who happens to be turning into a bunny plushie.” He said, realising he wasn’t making a very good case for himself, the young Privates Face flushed red with half embarrassment and half frustration, he hated being in a situation where he felt rather helpless as though he could do nothing more than just stand there. “Call me it again and I will throw the carrot plushie at you. Got it?” Addam said in a rather teasing voice, he was sure it was clear he wouldn’t hurt Noel, the fact was he knew he wouldn’t hurt him no matter how much he wound Addam up. It was a rather frustrating thing for Addam. He was bound to the knight’s of Fiore and it’s will and now he seemed to be the guard for a boy just younger than him.

However, once he saw how upset Noel was about it, he decided not to gnaw at the issue. “ Don’t worry, I’d rather you call me it than that scary Penguin.” He said, ruffling Noel’s hair and ears. “But Call me it again and I may just have to show you how powerful Knights can be.” He said with a childish grin, he would if it came to it hit Noel across the back of the head lightly with his quiver.

“So you are a mage, the knights aren’t all that amazing it’s basically like a glorified guard of sorts.” He said laughing slightly, this was his view on the matter anyway. He saw being a knight as a job. “It’s is just a job really, like being a mage in a guild I suppose, just it’s a lot more strict and ordered. There’s protocol and all of that but nothing special.” He said, The landscape was turning from hills as it was before to a more flat plain like area, this meant it was at least easier getting around as they didn’t have to ascend hills with spiky lego block edges protruding from it.

In the distance was a small rise that from this distance it wasn’t clear exactly what it was. “That over there...” Addam said pointing at the shape in the distance. “I would say it’s either more hills, a small copse or a town. If it is a town we should see if we can get any answers, but remember that if there is anyone these, they could be like the one’s in the city. Think we should go for it Noel?” Addam asked, his ears folding slightly to show his questioning mood.

"I'm sorry.. I really didn't mean to call you like that.." Noel whispered apologetically, hoping that Addam wasn't too mad with him. After seeing him twitch like that when he'd mentioned the words 'bunny knight', Noel was already afraid that he'd said too much. Much to his relief, he hadn't upset him that much, with the other boy giving him nothing but the warning glare before he ruffled his hair and told him it was fine, yet not without warning him not to call him like that once again. "I'm sorry.. It just sort of slipped.." Noel said, lowering his head a little bit while being patted like that, a soft blush crossing his cheeks. He didn't like to be embarrassed in front of people, it gave him the feel like he'd humiliated himself in a way, and that was never a good thing.

Still, Addam didn't seem to have minded it as much, and thus Noel had calmed down soon enough. He was known to change his mood rather often anyway, and the weird toy world they've found themselves in seemed to have quickened the pace of these changes as well. "Errr, no worries, I'll make sure not to mention it again," Noel nodded seriously, saluting to Addam before he couldn't hold up the act any more and burst out in giggles. He hadn't even realized how cute he'd looked, saluting like that to the bunny knight, with his tiger ears sticking out of the top of his head and his tiger tail swinging behind him lazily. Once he'd gotten a good laugh, he added: "Though, I wouldn't have minded to see these Knight powers you've mentioned.."

While Addam was giving him a small insight on the life of knights and the way things worked with them, Noel was busy observing their surroundings in search of anything that might have helped them to how to get back home or at least find out where they were by familiarizing themselves with the new world. It was pretty similar to the one they were used to; in fact, it looked like a copy of it, with everything behind exactly where it stood back in Earthland - from the enormous towns like Crocus, to the smallest things like the bushes and smaller trees. It all looked as if it had been taken from Earthland and plopped right into this world in the exact same place, except that it had previously been turned into a toy.

Both of them had noticed the shape in the distance around the same time. "I think we should definitely check out," Noel replied. "It seems like this world is exactly like Earthland, except that everything has been turned into a toy. That's why we're slowly turning into ones as well," he explained his assumptions, before continuing: "Either way, if my assumptions are correct and my geographical knowledge of Earthland hasn't failed me in this crucial moment, that thing we see far ahead in front of us should be Tully Village, which is located a certain distance north-east of Crocus," he noted.

Addam laughed slightly awkwardly as Noel started to list what town it should be and basically inform Addam of his knowledge of Fiore’s lay out. “I’m not the best with a map. I was taught it all twice, once in school and the other in the academy but when I don’t get out of a city much and when I do I’m placed in a train and told to get off at whatever stop to meet someone there, I kinda lost track of all the information.” He said, he wasn’t one to be very ego concentrated but it was embarrassing to be beaten at this subject, his face scarlet showing his emotions.

Placing his hands on his head with a slightly awkward laugh he finally said. “But I’ve been to Tully village before, If I remember correctly it had a lot of old people in, and some hyper active kid. But i doubt it will be like that here... I don’t think Plushie’s have an age.” Addam said, thinking through the matter himself. “Do you think that’s why there weren’t any people in the toy shop back in Crocus, because they all were in this world as well?” Addam asked, wondering what Noel thought of the situation. “We still have some time left until we reach the village so we may as well come up with some ideas on what happened. If we understand the cause then getting back could be easier.”

The worst thing was that Addam could only Vaguely remember what happened in the shop, he was concerned with the teddy at the time and then whatever happened he wasn’t sure. But he would guess that he hit his head, Noel had a softer landing however, Addam being used as the cushion. “I don’t know why I put up with you...” Addam sighed playfully. “Now I thin about it, you’ve used me as a mattress when we first came into this world, You called me Bunny knight and what else...” Thinking for a moment, Addam moved one on his hands upon his own head to rest on Noel’s “And you made me look weird having to wake a kid up outside of a toyshop covered in snow. But you’re not too bad...” He stressed, laughing afterwards.

“It will take another hour or so to reach the village, once there we should stay together, we can cover more ground apart, but I don’t want either of us alone in this world, got it?” Addam said still walking on. “Oh, and for the time being, you’re a knight too. You follow orders and we get through this. Got it?” He said finally.

It may have been true that the young knight didn't know much about geography, but the information he'd provided them with about the village Noel had recognized, happened to be more than useful. Noel loved to travel, but the Kingdom of Fiore was so big that he just couldn't hope to visit each and every little town and village located in it, at least not in the nearest future. Not even counting the surrounding countries, much less the other continents, this kingdom alone was so enormous that it would take years to see everything this world had to offer. And while he could learn about all of these places from the books he'd been reading, he could never truly get to know the people living in them, unless he actually visited these places. That was where Addam's experience came to fruition; by having gone to Tully village before, he could somehow figure out what they were to expect once they reached it.

If this world was truly a parallel to their home world, Earthland, that is. "Well.. If the village contains a lot of old people, we might as well bump against a certain old lady or mister, who knows enough about this world to be able to answer all of our questions. Old people are usually willing to help; and since this place is like some sort of a copy of our world, just that its in a toy version, I hope that such little rules apply here as well," he noted, scratching the back of his head in wonder. He knew this was possibly their one and only chance to finally find out what was going on; and in case they weren't lucky in this town, they would have to start thinking about what to do on their own, since they didn't have much time left.

Luck was usually on the younger boy's side. He just hoped it hadn't ran out just now, when he needed it the most. "I'm hope I'm lucky enough not to get hurt by you in case I accidentally call you a 'bunny knight' again, then.." he said a bit jokingly, though the blush from his face hadn't quite disappeared when he said it. Still, he was rather amused to notice the redness on Addam's cheeks as well, satisfied that he wasn't the only one having problems with embarrassment. For some reason, that calmed him down a little bit; it seemed that despite the fact the two were slowly starting to turn into plushies, they were still retaining a bit of their humanity within them, the one, but sure fact that proved they still had a chance of returning back home. And no matter how small that hope seemed at this point, Noel would be holding onto it until the last breath as a human boy.

"I wouldn't want to split, anyway," he said then quietly, lowering his head a bit. He wouldn't want to admit it, but even though this world around them seemed like children's paradise, it was still freaking him out a little bit. And admitting he was kind of scared in front of a knight seemed unacceptable. But the other boy's next words puzzled him a little bit. Stopping in the middle of their walk, Noel stared at Addam who'd make a few more steps before stopping to check why the younger boy had stopped so suddenly, and he raised his eyebrows in confusion. "I'm not a knight.." he said then, quietly. "I'm a tig.. I mean, I'm a mage boy," he managed to say, turning crimson for a moment when he realized what he was about to say.

Addam once again slightly glared at Noel for the mention of the phrase he had come o hate because of this place, he knew Noel wasn’t meaning it hurtfully, well he hoped anyway and he was only trying to state something, however the mention of it still made Addams face turn a deep scarlet. “Just…” Addam found it difficult to talk due to the embarrassment, the fact was he was a knight and to be tied to the name of a bunny. “Just don’t say those words again…” He sighed, he didn’t want to seem mean to Noel, he just wanted to kill the penguin for calling it him it in the first place.

Trying to get over tha, he listened as Noel admitted he didn’t want to split up, they didn’t know what they would face in the town, it could be their way out or it could end up being the thing that kept them trapped forever, but if they didn’t try they would end up as Plush creatures who didn’t want to leave, the thought seemed oddly satisfying, one part of him wanted to escape and return to being a normal human, while the other part of him wanted to stay in this perfect world and be happy here forever. “Once we are in the town, make sure that anyone we do talk Carrot to doesn’t inform any guards, or else we will be hopping right into trouble.”Addam said in a serious and warning tone, unaware that what he was said wasn’t exactly what he had thought as the absence chewing on the carrot seemed to start to wear into him, it tickled the back of his mind slightly, the urge to simply remove it from the quiver where it was stuffed into was great but he knew he shouldn’t. “I want to throw this damn carrot away…” Addam suddenly said a little odd topic from what Noel was talking about, his stomach was making sounds as though he hadn’t eaten in ages, and it was true, he had’t eaten since the previous night as the morning was too rushed and he had been in an alternate dimension busy turning into a plushie for the rest of the time.

He knew from before that if he were to chew of the plush toy, he would start to feel full again, something that was the horrid truth of this world. “I don’t think the town will have any real food…” Addam theorised. “Noel I’m sorry, but I’m going to have to use the carrot, if not I think I will collapse of hunger.” Addam finally said, he hated the thought, but he was no use without any energy, something that the bundle of coloured fabric and fluff seemed to give him. Removing the Orange object from the quiver he placed it in his mouth and started to chew.

At first nothing happened, it was like chewing on felt, but then a rush of an amazing flavour filled his senses and he was feeling less hungry, however as they went on it as clear that Addam was not enjoying it, Deep down he was worried that he would become used to this and this would be normality, that he would have to go back the normal life and away from this world, that he would turn into a weird looking Human and have to Leave Teddolas fore- “Mgggh..” He sounded in frustration as his face turned from an already red to a deeper hue, He wanted to be a Human didn’t he?

Watching Addam munching on the carrot plushie like that was making Noel hungrier than he was willing to admit he was. While he had been coping with it so far, suppressing his urges to nom on his own plushie that was still safely attached to his belt, he found that rather hard to do now that his knight friend was basically chewing on it right in front of him. When the two had been talking about other stuff, Noel had dismissed his growing hunger, an easy task when he was being focused on the conversation at hand. That was his usual tactic whenever it came to ignoring his stomach, anyways; and it proved to be quite useful in many situations when the boy had to cope with hunger, most of them occurring on the long missions he took, of course without remembering to take any food with him for urgent cases when he had nothing to eat.

But that wouldn't matter now, not at all. They could talk about anything they wanted, but Noel could see Addam chewing on his orange carrot plushie, he was being instantly reminded of his own hunger, giving him no chance whatsoever to dismiss that thought. Quite a peculiar problem, that was, for he could still remember the two of them promising not to succumb to the charms of these stuffed toys that were not supposed to satisfy them like they did. They both knew it was weird, they both knew it was wrong. And yet, just like they'd already foreseen at the very beginning, they were soon to find out that despite that knowledge, they were still unable to defend against its magic. Fiddling with his own fish plushie, making his fingers run across it every now and then and slowly squeezing on it, Noel watched his friend with uneasiness in his eyes. "Gawd, Addam.. You know these things are not.." he started, bringing his own plushie up to his mouth and absent-mindedly biting on it.

"..Bad," he finished the sentence, feeling a strange mixture of satisfaction at the alien, yet so familiar taste of the distasteful plushie spreading in his mouth, and anger at the fact their willpower hadn't been strong enough to defend against it. He knew they should've just thrown the plushies away a long time ago, but.. Boy, it felt so good, chewing on it once again, it was making the boy almost purr with pleasure, filling his aching tummy with false sensations and false hope, something that he was well aware was not a good thing, yet he didn't care at this moment. They were going in the right direction, weren't they? The village was right ahead, and they had a plan on how to find out where they were and how to get out of here. A bite or two on their plushies couldn't possibly hurt now, could it...?

Oh, how wrong the two boys were with that mindset, though they couldn't know that just yet. Of course they were to find out sooner or later - their assumptions when they talked about it earlier had already been going in the right direction towards the truth, but the lack of proof had made it impossible for them to pinpoint the secret behind these plush toys they were so happy to chew on. "Look, the village is right there..!" Noel suddenly exclaimed as he snapped out of his dreamy state, realizing that they must've crossed that distance that had been left between them and the town the last time he'd looked up ahead. Funny thing; for it had felt they were still so far away just a moment before, and then he'd chewed on that plushie, and.. now they were here.

Well, no matter that, it was time to find out whether they could truly find the answers they were looking for in this town. "Where should we go first..?" the brown-haired boy would ask the older knight, as they neared the village, now barely hundred or maybe two-hundred meters away from the main entrance into the small village.

Addam was faintly aware of the fact that Noel was talking to him, however for some reason he couldn’t care less, he was happy for the moment and that was all that mattered, things for some reason felt better than before, not that he could even recall what happened before. “Huh?” Addam said suddenly snapping out of it when Noel finally told them that they were at the village that he was sure was some distance away not a moment ago that now stood not too far away from them. “Wha’?” Addam said, scratching the bunny ears on his head and the hair around them with one hand and placing the carrot plushie back into his quiver with some force, “Weren’t we?” He said, looking around in a confusing manner, half expecting to see something odd behind them, however the hill he recalled being on was some way back.

“How did we get here?” Addam said lowly to himself, not wanting to startle Noel in case it was just him experiencing some strange phenomenon. “I don’t really want to know...” He sighed, placing both of his hands on his blond hair

“Hmm...”
Addam thought in response to Noel’s question. “I have no idea.” He said, falling backwards onto the cushioned tail, Addam sat on the floor with his hands still on his head as he thought through the possibilities. “We need to find someone, anyone or a clue to help us get out and we are in a strange village where people could want us to become like them...” Addam said painting out the situation to himself, removing one hand from his head, he took out a handful of arrows from the quiver, carefully as not to tear the plushie food that was shoved next to them, taking a few arrows from his hand he places them upon the floor in a square. “Pretend this is the village, what we should do is spilt it into sections.” Addam said, taking another three arrows, he crossed two over to divide the square into four smaller ones and places another one to the side. “This one here is us, so if we go to the village we can check out this quarter first.” He said pointing to the closed section and then up at the village in front of them, due to them still being slightly raised on a hill it was clear to see the four main roads that bisected the village each meeting at the center. “So if we search around there first for anyone or anything and if nothing we can move onto the next part so we aren’t going over anyplace twice.” Addam informed Noel, this was what his Knight’s training had taught him, be methodical and efficient,

“If we do get split up, meet in the center at the square.” Addam told Noel, pointing ahead of him to the village it was rather clear where he meant, “But if they do chase us and we get split up, meet behind the outlaying buildings over there.” Addam said, pointing to a small cluster of building slightly away from the town. “Sound good? Oh, can you do that mind talk thing again?” He asked, a small smirk appearing on his face as he quickly thought up a plan. “We can stay in contact that way and we can talk without anyone getting at the fact we don’t like it here.”

Noel had to admit Addam's plan appeared much better than anything he could have come up with. Perhaps these were the results of Knight's training - something that mages never had the chance to go through. Funny thing, how the knights seemed to have everything so organized, while mages usually worked right on the spot, a lot of times hardly doing anything in preparation of what was to come. Should he have had some sort of an earlier training, Noel would quite possibly have thought of such a well-formed plan, but for now, he could be glad that he had Addam there for him to do just that. "That seems like a really good plan!" the boy exclaimed, deciding that he was going to try out right away whether the two would be able to communicate through the use of his Telepathy. After all, it was much safer to test his abilities right away rather than find out later on that he was unable to use them.

Why would something like that even appear as a possible option, though? After all, mages didn't just run out of their magical power, unless they were constantly using it for a longer period of time - and as far as the young boy could remember, he hadn't been doing that recently. However, there was one thing that pointed to possible lack of his magical power. "Well, I hope this is going to work.." he muttered, closing his eyes like he always did whenever he wanted to especially concentrate on the magical spell he was about to cast. For a few moments, nothing happened despite the rather straining expression appearing on the boy's face; he was frowning a bit, biting on his lower lip ever so slightly as he tried to bring out the magical power from within his body.

In a few moments, an orange magical circle spawned beneath his feet, depictions of eyes and human figures that represented the mind and the body of a human being, slowly moving across the inner circle of the magical seal. "Telepathy!" the boy whispered, and in the next moment, his eyes opened. Glancing at the knight standing next to him, Noel's eyes stopped on his bunny ears for a single moment before he glanced down at his face. Despite his lips being tight shut, Addam would suddenly be able to hear a voice inside his head, much like he had earlier when they'd been running away from the guards in Teddo-Crocus town. "Hey..? Can you hear this, Addam?" Upon realizing that the mental link had been successfully created, a grin appeared across Noel's face.

"It works..! I've already thought I wouldn't be able to manage.." he admitted, scratching the back of his head. "It seems the more I turn into this.. plushie, the less magical power I possess. I never had to concentrate this fully to perform such a basic spell. I think we should hurry up and get out of here as soon as we can," he said with a now worried expression. "The mental connection is up now, so we can talk without me having to put any more magical power into holding up the link. So, now we just have to split up and search the town to see if we can find anyone that's willing to help us!"
