Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

“Forwards it is then, I for one don’t want to head back into that town to meet what we just escaped. “ Addam sighed, looking backwards he could see the city not full of small lights that must have been in response to the darkening skies, it seemed although this place was so different in the fact that it was a toy world, it still had some normality in it. Addam knew that this ticklish thought in the back of his head that it would just be best to stop fighting and go back as everyone else there seemed so happy and content wasn’t his own but the one placed there by this world, he hated the idea that soon he wouldn’t be him but something else.

It ached to walk, and he to use his bow as something like a walking stick, however he didn’t want to concern Noel, there was enough on both of their plates to be worried about Addam’s feet. If they didn’t hurry up anyway he may not have his feet for much longer. Sighing slightly to himself when Noel said about it he simply responded. “Don’t worry, my legs have woken up now, I’m fine, in fact we can run if you want.” Addam laughed, picking his bow up and holding it ready in his left hand, he pulled himself up to a straight and normal walk, it hurt an almost unbearable amount, the fact that they were swollen didn’t help. But the thing was they were still walking on the Lego floor, causing even more pain to shoot up from his foot. However Addam simply smiled, not wanting to admit to Noel that he was hurt.

“Hopefully we will come to a town soon and find someone, anyone who can help us.” Addam said, with each step his whiskers flicked in response to the pain, however Addam hoped that Noel would just think it as a normal response. “We may be a while in getting wherever we are going, so we may as well learn something about each other, take our minds of this craziness.” Addam said smiling at Noel, it was true that they knew little about each other and had only met for what he could presume was a few hours, but in all honesty could have been days depending on how the time in the world was in comparison to outside, in a place that made sense.

“Well, I’ll tell you a bit about me, and just ask anything you want, if we are stuck here for awhile. We may as well get to know each other.” Taking a breath to collect his thoughts and try to take his mind off of his feet, Addam began. “Well my name is Addam Natael, I am a private of the Knights of Fiore… Erm… I basically live with my bow I’m not allowed to get to far away from it or my old trainer would find out and hunt me down, most likely kill me...” Addam laughed to himself. “I’m not good at this whole explaining thing, I’m more of a book person.” Addam said slightly glumly, his ears falling slightly in response to his mood.

Glancing sideways at Addam, the brown haired boy's eyes stopped on his leg, if only just for a moment before he glanced away. His lips tightened in helplessness, knowing that nothing he did or said would make Addam allow him to help him out. This was a matter of honour, and since the older boy was a knight, something like honour was even more important to him. The only thing Noel could do right now, was keep quiet about it and let the bunny knight struggle on his own until they would finally reach another destination, where they would hopefully not be ambushed and captured by the village's inhabitants.

Of course the young Mind mage had seen through Addam's lies. He knew they were well-intended ones, and he felt kind of warm inside, knowing that Addam cared that much for him even though they had only just met. That meant he had slowly started to like him through their little 'misadventure' in Teddolas, or he was just a damn good knight. Still, he couldn't help not to worry about the older boy, and he was kind of angry at himself for being so helpless as well. But nothing could be done at this point, and thus Noel could only hope that the two of them would reach a certain destination before Addam collapsed.

"I wish Buster was here, so he could fly up into the air and check if there's any villages up ahead of us.." Noel said with a sigh in response to Addam's hopeful remark. He missed his owl, and he wondered where the snowy-white owl was at this point. If the time in this world ran at a different pace than back in the real world.. if by any chance, the time here was going much slower than back in Earthland, then what would Buster do? Crocus wasn't that close to Magnolia and so he couldn't just go back home to wait for him. He honestly hoped that the two of them would be able to get out of this place as soon as possible, if anything, for Buster's sake.

Luckily, Noel didn't have to deal with these negative thoughts at the moment. While the two walked, Addam had decided to engage in a little conversation with him and he'd started by telling him about who he was, and what he did. Listening closely, Noel nodded every once in a while when it was appropriate, slightly surprised at the part when Addam told him he had to keep his bow with him at all times, at which he'd asked him: "What exactly do you mean, at all times? You don't have to.. uhh.. well, sleep with it, or take it to the bathroom with you, right?" he giggled, imagining how it would be if a person had to hold a giant bow in one of their hands while taking a bath.

"What kind of books do you like to read?" he asked him then, cocking his head to the side in interest. Noel was a passionate bookworm as well, having read countless of books already, most of them being on magic, though he liked story books as well. He could see a common point in this field, and he was willing to find out more about what Addam liked.

Continuing to walk was becoming slightly easier as he adjusted to the pain and his mind became preoccupied with the conversation, it was much better that worrying over every little thing, and if Noel was his new friend what sort of friend would he be to know little about him. Smiling towards the slightly younger boy Addam responded. “Well, it needs to be in arms length at all times, well that is what I was told to do. So Yes, I have it next to the bed when I sleep and on the floor when I bathe, it was annoying at the beginning but I’m used to it now. I don’t have to hold it at all times, just keep it close.” Addam said with a slight laugh, more so out of nerves, he had never thought about it in any way but an order and hadn’t thought about how silly it may seem to someone else. “Now I think about it, it does seem slightly strange, but it’s either that or get killed for not following an order, well not killed just inventively tortured.” Addam said, looking down to the ground, shuddering as he recalled some of his past, less than pleasant experiences.

“As for books, well I used to work in a book shop while I was in the academy, just part time for something to do. I think I read every book that went through there at least once, I don’t have any books I don’t like really. However I do like fiction.” Laughing nervously again, Addam had always tried to seem like the mature knight but here he was telling someone else something that showed him just as a normal teen, and his slightly more childish side. “I do like fiction books, I would read a good adventure story every day if I could, but knight duties tend to last a while and I can’t work in the book shop anymore so...” Addam said in a slightly down mood, he missed being able to go through books all day besides when a customer came in, but being a knight is what he fell into doing and he had to put that first. “I like cookery books also, I’ve tried a few recipes, however they never come out the same as the pictures, still taste alright. You have to be able to cook when you live alone.” Addam laughed at. “Well, not cook in my case, more burn but I say it adds texture.” Addam joked at.

“I never wanted to join the knights.” Addam said out of the blue. “It was more by accident, but it makes life a little more exciting...” Looking back over his shoulder, Addam could see Teddo-Crocus on the horizon, standing silhouetted almost, from this distance it almost looked like the real city, however straining slightly he could just about make out the lego blocks that took the place of a real building material. On the horizon where they were headed, he couldn’t see much due to a large bank of hills in the way. “What about you, I wanna know something about you.” Addam said, smiling softly, however suddenly for no apparent Reason, Addam hopped a medium height as a bunny would, and came crashing down on his face. Luckily they were on a ‘softer’ patch with a large amount of flexible lego meaning that he wasn’t injured just slightly dazed. “I am sure this world hates me...” Addam sighed as he pulled himself back up.

"It really does sound kind of funny that you have to hold onto your bow at all times," Noel giggled, his tiger ears shooting upwards in relation to his mood. He was starting to feel increasingly better after they began to talk; it was like he was slowly starting to forget the situation they were currently in. Naturally, that was a good thing, since forgetting about it meant he worried less about all of it, which could only be positive in this case. Where were they going to get if they kept worrying about everything, anyway? "But I suppose it does make sense for you to do as you're told if it's one of the orders you've been given to do as a knight.. What I don't quite understand, though, is why you would get killed if you didn't respect it. I mean, being punished is one thing, but.. something like that is on an entirely different level.."

He was aware of how much the Fiorean Army depended on hierarchy, and how important it was for the low-ranked knights to listen to the orders of their supervisors. He also knew that any disrespectful act or failure to carry out an order could meet either punishment or even excommunication from the army of knights. But he'd never heard of cases of death due to knights not listening to their supervisors. "Sounds kind of cruel.." he muttered seriously, but luckily he didn't need to linger on that thought for much longer because the other boy began to narrate on the subject of books, one thing that Noel shared his passion for. "Fiction, huh..? Some stories are really amazing..! Have you ever read the Seven Wizards of Grozengart?" he asked excitedly. It was a famous magical story of seven heroes that set out to find a lost treasure, the book following their many adventures through a rather large number of volumes. It was a series that every mage had heard of at least once, but Noel wondered whether knights were interested to read that fiction as well.

"I like to read stories as well, though I'm having less and less time to focus on the books lately.. But back in the day, I used to read a couple of books a day. Though, most of them were on different kinds of magic and the like, because that's what I'm really interested in," the boy told the young knight, his whiskers twitching a little bit when he was talking about his passion. It wasn't a secret to know how much he loved to read about the various magical branches and powers that could be found across the continent. He'd read about so many magics already that there was practically no magical power he'd run across without even remotely knowing what it was connected to or what it was capable of doing. It was knowledge he treasured more than anything, and it had proved rather useful a number of times already on the missions he'd taken. What people didn't know, however, was why he pursued to read about all the different kinds of magic so much. In hopes of finding more about his magic, Noel had read any book on magic he came across, but so far, he had been unable to find more about the origin of his own power.

Addam's sudden mention of not having wanted to become a knight made the boy glance up, his eyes stopping on Addam's bunny ears for a second, before he glanced at his face. "What do you mean, it was more of an accident..? Can you tell me about how you became a knight..? I suppose we have the time, since there's still a long way to our destination. And when you're done with the tale, I can tell you about myself, if you want," Noel said, smiling brightly. "Whatever happens to interest you about me, that is," he added.

It just so happened that Addam nearly fell then, as he made a few hops. Noel couldn't help but giggle a little bit at Addam's futile attempts to hop. "A-Are you okay..?" he asked between giggles. "It looks kind of silly when you do that, nya."

Pulling himself up turned out to be more difficult than he had thought, his body felt disproportionate, it felt as though his feet that were slightly swollen and larger than normal were still too small, and he felt too top heavy, it was an odd sensation but one that he understood where it came from, he body was building itself up to be a plushie, a bunny plushie with large bunny feet. Sighing slightly he fell back down onto his bottom. “I can’t get up, if I do I am going to fall over again...” Addam said, his face bright red from embarrassment, he felt as though he was a small child who needed so much help now and not the Knight he was trained to be.

Addam attempted to pull himself up again, this time he managed to stand up before falling forward again onto the softer lego grass, his ears falling over his face in response to his embarrassment. “I don’t think this will work, if I can stand up and start walking perhaps...” Addam said, hoping like many of these strange feelings in this world that it would go away after a few moments.

“But, I wouldn’t actually be killed if I got too far away from it, it’s something of a joke but a serious one in the fact that I would have some punishment for getting too far away from it. They don’t like the thought of a Private not following orders.” Addam said, blowing the ear that had fallen over his face out of the way. “And it was very much an accident, I went to a Private school since the age of six, I stayed in boarding there, well later on when you were like twelve, you chose what you wanted to do.” Addam said, pulling himself from a lying down state to sitting upright and looking at Noel. “Give it a minute or two and hopefully I’ll be able to walk again...” Addam sighed, hoping that he was being truthful himself.

“But anyway.” Addam continued with his story. “You could move to Era to join the sister school as Magic doesn’t work in Chrysanthemum and the sister school was said to be able to teach magic to anyone who went there, or you could stay in the school and become an authorities figure, like to learn how to become a city governor or something like that. But of course being Chrysanthemum, they had an option to leave and join the knights...” Addam sighed remembering the whole truth of how he had joined “And I must have accidentally ticked the ‘join the knights’ box, and they wouldn’t let me leave the academy, I’ve tried to run a few times but they find me and bring me back... That’s why I can’t leave Chrysanthemum without orders allowing me to do so...” Addam explained.

Attempting again, he pulled himself to a standing, however taking a step forward, the feeling still remained and he stumbled over to Noel, however was able to keep up right, “Come on, it seems like I should be able to walk again...” Addam said lowly, “What about you, I didn’t ask why you were in Crocus, I was only there as I was ordered to get a teddy for a girls birthday..” Luckily, Addam had taken his mind of his still aching feet and was able to forget the fact they still throbbed.

His giggling slowly dying as he noticed how much trouble Addam was having standing up, Noel gulped and moved a bit closer to the boy. "Erm.. Are you sure you're okay..?" he asked, scratching himself behind his tiger ears, noticing that the feeling was actually rather pleasant. But now it wasn't the time to think about that; he needed to help Addam to get back up on his feet so that the two could continue with their journey onwards. The only problem was, that he had no idea how to persuade the older boy to let him help him out. He had his pride as a knight, and there was no way he was going to allow Noel to give him his hand to pull him back up on his feet or even offer to carry him.

"Perhaps.. Waiting a minute or two for your feet to stop aching for a bit won't hurt.." Noel nodded, scooting over closer to where Addam was sitting on the Lego grass. There, the brown-haired mage crouched, putting his two hands on the floor in between his legs, much like a big cat would do when sitting, and his tiger ears twitched a little bit as he listened to the knight's story with interest. "So.. they wouldn't let you out of the knight's academy even though you made a mistake when you ticked that box?" Noel asked incredulously, shaking his head in disbelief at the fact that something like that could happen in Fiore. Teddolas was definitely not a place like that; the plushie world ensured that all of its inhabitants were happy and cheerful at all times and they would never allow for such a mistake to hap-.. Hey, what was he thinking?

Shaking his head to make the ill thoughts of plushification go away, Noel listened to the rest of Addam's story. "So, that's why you were in Crocus at that time.. You were on one of your assignments.." Noel realized, cocking his head to the side in a thinking manner. "Isn't that a really strict order, though..? I mean, it's true you've ran away several times and all, but.. Considering you never wanted to enter the academy in the first place, and the fact that you've ran away a couple of times, wouldn't it be better if they'd just.. let you go? I mean.." Noel muttered, trying to find the right words. His tail was swinging behind him lazily, much contrary to the quick way of thinking as he was trying to think of what to say.

"I mean.. Do you even want to be a knight?" he finally asked, glancing up at the boy who was now trying to get back on his feet. "You strike me as a person, who isn't quite sure of what you want to achieve in your life. It seems like sometimes, you're fine with being what you are, a Private Knight, who is able to help people out by completing the assignments your supervisors are giving you.. But on the other hand, it feels like you're kind of angry at that yourself for that mistake you've made back then, because it wasn't what you had originally wanted..." Noel said, speaking a bit quieter towards the end, afraid that he might have said too much. He really didn't want to offend his new friend in any way, not just because he was practically the only thing that connected him to his home world, but simply because.. well, he was starting to like him as a person.

Luckily, Addam had given him a chance to change the course of their conversation. "Uhh.. Well, I was in Crocus because I just.. like to travel, I suppose. I'd always wanted to see the capital of Fiore, but I've never before had a chance to. So, I'd decided to take a small trip to the famous town, and that's how I ended up there," he said simply, offering his hand unintentionally towards the older boy to help him get up on his feet.

Now standing, if still slightly unsteady with his walk smiled at Noel, his face still rather red with embarrassment. “Alright, let’s continue, I should be able to walk now, and we can’t waste time can we. I bet your owl would be getting bored and we can’t have that now can we.” Addam laughed at, trying to lighten the situation. As he focused on walking one step forward at a time over the hill they were currently on he decided he may as well continue talking, he may end up falling over again not paying attention but it was better than the nervous rumbling in his stomach with the silence. “I would like to travel, well I do get to travel but only every so often, most times I end up being ordered all over the place, it’s work and I get paid for it, but it also means I can get out of the city which is better than nothing.” Addam explained, at that time his ears were rather annoying him, them kept on falling down onto his face, doing so they would knock his bunny whiskers and cause him to sneeze, and by sneezing it would cause his ears to be blown back upright in an annoying circle that continued every so often.

“I wish I had a hair band or something to stop these thing fro-“ Addam sneezed as it all happened again, followed by a rather frustrated look from Addam “For these damn damn damn damn damn ears.” He said, this was rather frustrating him. However he had nothing he could use to stop it, not even shoe laces as his shoes had been taken, even if he did he wouldn’t have wanted to stop as that may have brought with it the inability to stand up again. So Addam places him hands upon his head, weighing the ears down, it seemed normal now to feel though them as though he had been born with two plushie bunny ears. “But I used to play around when I was a kid about being a mage or a knight, but I never really gave it thought. I’m not really annoyed at the fact that I am a knight, I’m fine enough doing the job. It’s just I would rather do other things that I am not allowed to do while being a knight, such as I can’t see my family much. I can’t work in the book shop where I used to help out anymore, Not that I did but I can’t freely go in and out of the city because they want to keep a close eye on me...” Addam sighed, however a great though popped into hi head. “I could always just stay in Teddolas, I’m lucky enough to be able to get here and everyone here seems to be nice, I’m sure they would let me do things I wanted to do.” Addam said in a happier tone, “We may as well just turn around now and head back...” Addam said in a slightly childish voice, to him it seemed all clear, they go back and live happy lives and not have to worry about everything else, What he felt like now was stupid, his feet were too small, he wasn’t fluffy and-

Addam fell over again, landing on his face once more. “Sorry, I’m happy I fell over, I at least knocked some sense into myself again.” He laughed awkwardly, it was horrid having all his beliefs and opinions on things being voided in moments when this strange world took a hold. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean any of that stuff, I want to get back I do...” Addam said glumly, pulling himself upright once more.

Wishing that there was something he could do to help, Noel glanced down at his own figure to see if he had anything that would be useful enough for Addam to use to keep his bunny ears from falling down all the time. The closest thing that he felt could be used were the shoelaces on his own shoes, but then again, he doubted Addam would have wanted him to lend him his; he wasn't really the type of person to expect any help from him, not to mention that he probably wouldn't have liked their smell, anyway. "Uhh.. There might be a way," Noel suddenly noted, trying to keep serious while watching the frustrating Addam. For some reason, he just always felt like giggling whenever he saw him complaining about something. Whether it was because it looked kind of funny, or cute (or perhaps both) was something Noel wasn't able to tell, but it was definitely entertaining to watch it.

"Perhaps, if you think about the whole thing positively, or if you stop worrying about how we're going to get out of here, the ears will stand up on their own. It seems they react to your mood, and if you're kind of sad or worried, they usually drop down. So, perhaps if I can put you in a good mood, they might stand up straight on their own and stop bugging you all the time," Noel revealed his plan excitedly, giggling a bit. "The only problem is.. how to do that.." he muttered to himself quietly, frowning a little bit as he tried to think of a way. Soon enough, though, he had to discard the thoughts about it for a while when Addam continued with his story. Giving off a small smile when the older boy mentioned how he remembered playing knights and mages at the time when he'd still been a kid, the boy remembered the times he'd run through the Magnolia Park during his usual morning jogs, watching the kids play that very same game. Apparently, some games would never get too old. If only he would've been able to remember whether he'd played it when he was a kid as well.

His ears dropping a bit at the sudden mood change, Noel let out a soft sigh, trying not to think of it too much. "See, I told you the ears react to the one's mood," Noel pointed out at his own ears, trying to smile. They were letting their emotions get to them too much. Was that one of the side-effects of this crazy world? Noel was quite a moody person, but this may have been slightly too much. He'd gone from happy to sad, back to happy and then to sad once again in less than ten minutes. Addam didn't seem to be holding up too well, either. If that was what this world was doing to the two of them, they needed to get out of here as quickly as possible. The sky above them was already starting to lose the colors as the night approached, indicating that they had less than twelve hours until the sunrise.

"There's no way we're going back to that weird, creepy city!" Noel said with determination in response to Addam's words. "We need to pull ourselves together. This world is having a weird effect on us, and I can feel it," the boy said to the young knight moments before the latter tripped once again, falling on the ground. Biting his lip, Noel was quiet for a few moments, before saying: "Say.. Do you think it might be better if you wait here and rest for a little bit, while I scout up that hill by myself to see what's beyond it? That way, we can decide easier on what to do once I get back. I won't take too long, either, the top of the hill is actually visible from here," the boy pointed upwards.

Sighing, Addam just let himself drop to the ground again, it hadn’t been to long since their last break and he felt as though he was holding up everything, it was his job to make sure Noel got home and him too, he had promised and now he couldn’t even walk. He felt like digging a hole and lying in it, he may as well as there seemed to be nothing else he could do. “You may as well check.” Addam said, this thing was an emotional rollercoaster, he seemed so happy one moment when he was affected by this world, but as soon as it worse off he plummeted into the pit of despair afterwards. Laying on his chest on the fake grass his ears feel over his face. “You may as well Noel, it seems I’m just holding you back. I am the great knight that can’t even walk..” Addam sighed.

This wasn’t what he was expecting to have happened when he had set off for the toy shop earlier that day, he just felt rather bad for having to hold Noel back. And the fact was his negativity wasn’t helping the matter. “Noel, I’m sorry. It’s just that I feel like I’m the one here who needs helping through this, I can’t even walk properly...” He sighed at, he hated feeling useless or that someone else needed to do something for him. But he would just fight through it. “I’ll come with you. I don’t care Bunny ears or not, we are getting out of this place and me lying around isn’t helping.” Addam said coming out of him slump and standing once more, it took effort but he was a knight, and that’s what a knight did, gave it their all.

His concern growing more and more as he watched the young knight struggling to no end, Noel didn't know whether he should listen to him and actually let him struggle like this while walking next to him, or if he should leave him here for now and scout ahead like he had originally planned. In the end, before he would be able to decide on that troubling matter, Addam had already gotten up on his feet once again, this time quite visibly in pain. "You know you don't have t-.." Noel started, but was interrupted by the blonde-haired boy, who didn't want to hear about waiting for him here any more. How funny, since he'd said he could wait here for him just a minute or two ago. Perhaps the whole world was really having a strange effect not just on their mood, but on their personality in general, though it seemed like it was having a stronger effect on Addam than it had in Noel. Surely the young Mind mage felt weird from time to time, but in general, it was affecting Addam more.

Was that because of his lack of magical power..? Noel couldn't answer that question. "F-Fine then, but.. if your legs start to hurt too seriously once again, I want you to tell me, so we can stop and rest once again," the boy told him, waiting for him to regain his balance after leaning against the bow he was holding, so that he could use it as a walking stick of some sorts. Like that, the two boys continued with their ascend to the top of the Lego hill, in hopes of seeing something that would fill their hearts with hope as soon as they saw what was beyond it. Even though the top of the hill wasn't that far away as they'd pretty much gotten to about three quarters of it during their ascension, Noel was almost afraid they wouldn't make it. However, with slow, and patient steps, the two would finally get to the top, the view of a long valley opening up before them, reaching all the way to the horizon where mountains could be seen once again.

And in the middle of the valley, there was a small village with only about a dozen of houses or slightly more. From this distance, it almost seemed like they were real, but the crayon-drawn sky reminded them of where they actually were. Still, the village in the valley seemed to be their only option for now, not just because it appeared to be the only place that seemed inhabited save for the Teddo-Crocus behind their backs, but also because Noel knew there was no other place they could possibly reach before they fully turned into the plushies. Not to mention that Addam's injury was so severe that Noel knew they would never have gotten to any other location anyway, even if they knew of any other alternative option but the village that lay in front of them. Thus, the small settlement seemed to be their only hope; and they had to cling to that hope for as long as they possibly could. Either until the sweet or the bitter end.

"So.. are you ready?" Noel asked, gulping as he eyed the village in the valley below.
