Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Let the flan flow through you.
Right after Rictus had given Larkin his sword back, the Fairy Tail mage launched a burst of light towards the man. The attack hit him square in the chest, sending him flying back, unable to respond quickly enough. Larkin let out a sigh of relief. If it wasn't for Lambo's little magic trick that healed all his wounds and restored his magical energy, he would've been a goner. He was still full of energy when Rictus started to speak again... Or was it him? The voice sounded distant and cold. The mage was soon find out as he turned around to try to make sense of this.

A pillar of black smoke came out of the man's mouth in a creepy fashion. The man's body would soon disappear, leaving the smoke to curl around in the air to form an orb. The mage didn't dare move or attack; all of the things that were happening were still part of the client's dreams. He was still in this mission; he still had to recover the last Essence in order to free Casey from that black void thingie. The mage took a deep breath and stabilised his breathing, trying to stay focus, as the black orb started to sprout limbs and transform. As it slowly did so, the form go more human, until it became... Larkin?!?! What the... That's... me? The form started to speak, emphasizing that he was trying to find a way to escape, and that Casey asking for help was actually a good way to find a vessel of some sort. He wanted to get out of here and gain a form of his own. Just like Darkin...

As he thought of his own darkness, Void Larkin yelled out "EN GARDE" and, ex-quipping a dark Mel Force, sent a gust of wind. Larkin acted fast and ran towards the burst of air. He then switched from Million Suns to Silfarion, easily side-stepping the air attack and running at blinding speed behind Void Larkin, aiming to behead the doppelganger.

As Larkin dashed around to the side of Void Larkin's attack, Void laughed as he noticed the new sword in his hand. "You don't really get it, do you, boy?" As Larkin ran around the edge of the air blast, Void jumped and fired the second air blast straight down, rocketing Void into the air ahead of time to compensate for Larkin's increased speed from his new blade.

"I didn't just take your weapons, I took the whole kit and kaboodle. Your magic, your strength, everything. Your weapons remember your strength," he said, switching Mel Force out for a Dark Silfarion of his own. "And I'll make you remember it as well!" He swung the sword down hard from up above, sending three crescent-shaped blades of air at Larkin - one swooping straight down at him from above, and the other two from either side, in a three pronged pincer move.

After realizing that this dark had taken his form, Larkin and Void Larkin started to fight. The void mage ex-quipped Mel Force and sent a blast of air towards him. The mage was caught a little by surprise but, with the help of his Silfarion, he easily avoided the air blast and went for a sword strike to the head, trying to behead the dark version of himself. Little did he know about what this Void Larkin could do. As the sword came close to the neck, the dark Mel Force was directed on the ground and pushed the darkness higher in the air, effectively dodging the fast strike that was coming his way. So he also uses it that way... As the mage lifted his head, the darkness spoke.

I didn't just take your weapons, I took the whole kit and kaboodle. Your magic, your strength, everything. Your weapons remember your strength... And I'll make you remember it as well!

Suddenly, Void Larkin switched from Mel Force to Silfarion. So he has all my weapons as well, huh... While most people would be extremely surprised by the turn of events, the Fairy Tail mage would actually be smiling. This was a new obstacle that came in front of him; he would have to overcome it in order to win. As Void Larkin sent three crescent-moon shaped air slashes around the mage, the young man decided to do the same, sending one air slash above him and two on each side by spinning. They countered the dark man's attack, and, with the wind, created a dusty smokescreen for the Fairy Tail mage. With his Million Suns still in hand, he aimed it at the location the dark man was falling to and sent a burst of light.

Void Larkin wasn't terribly surprised when Larkin counted the trio of wind blades with some of his own - they were using the same magic and weapons, so there was bound to be some perfectly symmetrical violence involved. As he fell to the ground and landed, outside of the range of the dust cloud the wind tempest had riled up, an orb of light blasted through the dust cloud, plowing a small tunnel through it as it sped for Void.

Void, instead of trying to dodge or block the attack, merely grinned as his Dark Silfarion vanished to be replaced by the the Dark Crimson Twin Dragon Swords. "Stop me if you've heard this one." Raising both swords upright, he swung them down in an X-shaped pattern, creating a similarly-shaped shockwave as he yelled "Twin Lion Song!" A dark shockwave rippled out and raced to meet the Million Suns orb, cleaving through it like butter as it passed, the remnants of the orb vanishing as the X wave sped at Larkin.

The mage, after successfully countering the darkness' Dark Silfarion air blades, realized he created a lot of dust with the wind strikes. The dust had created a perfect smokescreen for Larkin, making it difficult for Void Larkin to see what he was doing as he fell down. Larkin used this opportunity to shoot a light burst towards his opponent, aiming well to get at least a hit in, which would finally stop this succession of stalemates.

Instead of that, the darkness grinned as he unex-quipped his version of Silfarion and ex-quipped his own Twin Blades, Dark Blue Crimson. What's he up to? Even if he did ask himself down, he understood the moment Void swung down the twin blades in an X formation. He knew that his burst of light wouldn't mean anything at this point. So he even has all of my techniques... He's a very dangerous foe... The rest of the orb vanished as the X wave came with speed towards the young man.

However, Larkin knew very well what would happen the moment so he started running towards the attack, jumping in a succession of somersaults as the spell sliced through Million Suns' ability like it was butter. As he got above it, the Fairy Tail mage, landing, aimed his Million Suns once more, but instead of the standard orb, sixty beads of light started forming all around the tip of the Keyblade. They then were fired at high speed.

As Larkin jumped over the Dark Lion Song technique before it split him like it split his attack, he fired a storm of light blasts from his blade that lanced into Void hard, creating an obscuring dust cloud as Void was veiled in it, the dust clearing a few moments later, with enough holes in him to be mistaken for dark swiss cheese, a few of which were trailing thin, wispy tendrils of black smoke. Coughing once, Void sat down on his rump with a sigh and a slight smile. "Well done." The second time today that a voice unexpected had come from someone he was fighting.

The Void form of Larkin wavered like a heat mirage, then burst like a balloon, revealing a slightly scuffed but otherwise okay familiar floating top hat. "Sorry about all the cliche villain nonsense, but the amulet's enchantments limit me as much as they inhibit the dreamer - I fear I was in part responsible for that poor man's dilemma, being unable to do anything about it before. I couldn't even touch the orbs to help him pull himself back together. Which reminds me..."

The top band on the hat flashed for a moment, and the green orb soared down from above and shot into Larkin's chest, vanishing with a ripple like the others, but this time the ripples continued for a moment and a golden orb leapt back out, floating at Larkin's chest level a few feet from him. "His mind is collected once more, and his nightmare will soon be gone, with it's anchors missing." The arena suddenly began to quake. "Ahm....I may have forgotten to mention that before, but the whoever dons the amulet has his mind scattered, as you know, but the scattered fragments become the bindings of the spellwork....meaning this whole place is collapsing, and with you in it! Come on, we need to get you out, so follow me and stay close!" As the hat began floating away, the back end of the arena where the orb had been held began collapsing, falling into some bottomless abyss below, the parts of the arena giving away in chunks like a jigsaw puzzle, chunks that crept closer to Larkin as the collapse began.

The hat glowed a bright blue and began floating at a running speed towards the arena exit.

(OOC: The next part is you running through the previous zones in reverse order to escape, so I'll let you do the dark puzzle one we did before this as you want to, and ill do the others. And to get you in the "escape from a collapsing dream" mood:

After Larkin used Million Suns' spell, "Million Light Show", the body of Void Larkin truly looked as if it was a black-colored swiss cheese, ready to be served in a juicy, meaty hamburger... Anyways, the dark form's voice changed once more, into something that the mage recognised, but couldn't place at all... Until the form started dissolving and glowed, revealing a hat... Casey's dream hat! The mage was slightly confused... Scratch that, he was VERY confused at what was going on in front of him at the moment. What the heck...?

The hat explained that it was somehow part of the amulet's charm, but it was unable to gather the Essences of Casey's mind. It then made the last Essence appear in front of him, making it enter the mage; however, the light pulsated four times before coming out of Larkin's chest, all of the Essences now one. Suddenly, a large rumble was heard as the whole arena started to crumble. Even before the peculiar hat explained, Larkin understood the situation. Without the essences scattered around as pillars, the nightmarish worlds Casey had created were now crumbling to nothingness. The hat told the mage to follow as it magically flew through the entracne through which Larkin came in. It didn't need to tell him twice; he immediately ran after it.

As they got through the entrance, the arena behind them was almost destroyed. It doesn't give us much time to get through the puzzle bit... No time to waste! Definitely determined to get out of here in one piece, Larkin unex-quipped his Silfarion and Million Suns, and ex-quipped his Mel Force. He jumped in the air and, making the sword face behind him, let a gust of wind loose, which pushed him across the puzzle.

Hurry up, hat!

The hat was impressed. "Glad to you see you know how to move when you want to!" The hat soared after Larkin, the puzzle collapsing behind him as the tiles and torches tumbled into the growing abyss behind the two. Diving through the portal into the next puzzle, they found themselves in the underwater tunnel once again, a bubble already forming around the hat. This time, the hat slapped a bubble around Larkin's head and yelled "Hold on tight!" A blast of flame that a jet engine fired out of the opening in the hat and rocketed upward as the door behind them crackled, buckled, then was sucked backwards, the water in the tunnel following like rainwater pouring down a storm drain.

Hat and Larkin shot out of the shrinking water's surface like a cork from a wine bottle, swerving through the still-soaking wet tunnel as the vortex behind them greedily munched up bigger and bigger chunks of the tunnel. It was like being inside a blender. Hat turned left at the top, knocking over the container than had held the water-breathing potion from behind and into the next portal.

(You can do the last puzzle, then ill do a fancy close, and boom, done ^^)

As the floor began to quickly and dangerously shatter behind him, Larkin ran as fast as he could, using his Mel Force to jump over the puzzle and land at the white entrance to the second trial he had gotten through. There was no time to waste; behind him, the crumbling had already gotten to the puzzle room and was gaining on them. Larkin ran inside the white light, until he remembered that this was the underwater trial and he may or may not have a lot of difficulty. Luckily for him, the hat was with him. Putting an air bubble around the Fairy Tail mage's head, the hat had already surrounded itself with the same thing.

Hold on tight!

Not being told twice, he did exactly that. The next thing Larkin knew, flames were spouting from the hat's opening, jet-propelling them upward in the water. Behind them, the door slowly crumbled and let the water flow swiftly into it. If it wasn't for the hat, I'd be a goner right now... Larkin kept on holding tight as the hat maneuvered skillfully through the underwater crevasses, shooting out of the lake with a pretty high amount of strength. They then entered the next portal.

It was once again pitch black. The mage then remembered that this was the one with the two paths of doom... And the bottomless pit... Larkin took a deep breath and switched from Mel Force to his Blue Crimson; he then threw the flame half of the twins forward, like a spear. With the force it was thrown, it ended up at the front of the next portal. As soon as it made contact with the ground, fire bursted from it, making light appear for Larkin. He saw the two paths and remembered that, when he came the first time, he took the right path, so he took the left path. He hurried again; the crumbling had already reached this room and was rapidly gaining on him.

Larkin then jumped with all of his strength and flew towards the portal...

They emerged from the portal in the initial scorched-looking house with the doors to all the various realms Larkin had delved into to retrieve Casey's mind fragments. As soon as they emerged into the room, the golden orb of light shot from Larkin and into Casey's chest. A moment later, some color returned to his face and he coughed, glancing around, confused. "Where....is this place?" Looking over, he saw a swordsman bound to a hat. "A hat?....wait, I remember you, you're the mage who came over to help!" a smile spread across his face. "Thank you so much!"

The hat dropped himself onto a burn table near Casey. "Yeah yeah, warm fuzzies all around, now can you make with the exit? This place is coming down around our ears and you're the only one who can make this place open up - it's your head, after all."

Casey looked at the hat, bewildered now. "A talking..." Before he could utter his confusion out loud, deep cracks appeared in the walls of the house, and the whole thing began shaking, a few dusty books falling to the earthen floor along with a chair missing a leg. "Okay, point taken!" Casey opened a portal behind him, giving Larkin a moment to leap through, before stopping halfway through to say, "Wait, aren't you coming too?"

The hat laughed softly as the cracks in the room grew wider. "Don't worry about me, just get through the door." Casey nodded, though as the portal closed behind him, he heard: "And relax, would ya? You're just having a bad dream."

Upon awakening, both Larkin and Casey would find themselves back in Casey's home unharmed, with one minor change - the amulet Casey had was now shattered into pieces. One piece, for a moment, showing a reflection of a hat, before the reflection vanished along with the amulet's magic.

Mission Complete!
