As the cowman appeared in front of Larkin, the young man's sense of danger tingled, but the mage didn't care about it. In front of him was the product of the famous Fusion Dance, a spell so ridiculously looking and yet so strong. Not only that, the man that was the fusion of the two Minotaurs looked pretty awesome. He didn't seem as threatening as the two beasts and yet he exuded a strong magical aura, something that made Larkin admire him (or them) even more. Approaching him with awe, he started looking at the man with a lot of enthusiasm. So much that Larkin almost forgot that he was in a dream, and that it was Casey that should get the credit for this. Still, this is pretty cool... The Fairy Tail member than faced the man.

This is so cool! Teach me!!

The cowman looked at him with a frown, or maybe he was already looking at him with a frown, or maybe it was the fact that one eye was open while the other was shut. In any case, in a confused matter, he answered Larkin with quite a distasteful tone. The fact was, the mage had just seen the dance, and in order for it to work fully he would need a partner. The mage knew that, but thought maybe there was something else he needed to know. Well, we do have to magically be equal in order for the fusion to work... The spell was a wide-spread funny dance that didn't know popularity simply because of the silliness of it all. It seemed that for Casey this was more serious, since now Larkin was going to be killed by this.

The cowman sighed and took out horns that bizarrely screwed themselves into the man's head. While it would look stupid for many people, this actually went well with him. He then started spouting some things about how Larkin was the enemy that the two Minotaurs were fighting. In a sense, the mage felt a little flattered that those two beasts felt he was a threat, but at the same time, he wished he was still fighting the two. This guy was strong, he could feel it at the core of his being. Unex-quipping his Millions Suns and Silfarion, waiting to see what would come next. As he put the horns on his head, electricty crackled around them, and as he yelled out the name of his technique, lightning shot from the skies, attracted to the horns and becoming one with them. The electricity extended, making them longer and deadlier looking. Larkin, when he saw this, had leaped a few meters away, getting back into fighting mode. The cowman than charged extrenely fast towards Larkin, ready to impale him.

Seeing him coming towards him, the mage leaped into the air backwards again, ex-quipping Shadow☆Star. As he created some distance from him, his shadow started moving without him doing anything and it formed five bullwhip-like shadow entities. They then all went towards the cowman to deliver crushing blows when he was about 15 meters away from him. He hoped that this would be enough to defeat him, but considering it was the fusion of the two Minotaurs, Larkin still knew that he would have to work to gain victory.

As the cow-man ran at Larkin with his enlarged lightning horns at the ready, Larkin summoned a sword of darkness - a fair weapon choice to combat a light-based attack - and several tendrils of darkness emerged from it like bullwhips, poised at the ready as the cow-man approached, then lunging at him in a single motion as one when he closed in. The cow-man made a "tch" noise. "Guess you're not leaving me much choice, here." The cowman continued his charge, but pulled a green box from his pocket and slotted the ring on his finger into the ring-shaped groove on the side of the box. The box shone brightly with green light, then flowed over the cow-man's torso, forming a shield with an emerald center and steel edges. The emerald in the middle glowed brightly as the cowman approached the incoming tendrils, yelling, "Corna Fulmine!" And several thin but fast shots of light bolted from the shield's center, each striking a tendril of darkness and spearing through it to pin it to the sandy floor of the arena before the bolts faded. The cow-man continued his charge through the now-open frontal area, aiming for Larkin's gut.

The battle had just gotten serious. The cowman, fusion of the two mean-looking cow Minotaurs, had placed cow horns on each side of his head. With this, he called forth lighting from the skies and created electrical horns, very long and very dangerous looking. While the bolts had come down to land on the conductive horns, Larkin had created some distance between them and had ex-quipped his strongest sword, Shadow☆Star. This blade let out dark energy, but did not affect the mage's consciousness. Instead, the magical power it contained possessed the Fairy Tail mage's shadow, which started to move unaccording to its owner's own movements. He then waited for the cowman, who was charging towards him like mad bull, to be within the range of his next attack. When he was, Larkin controlled his shadows, creating five dark bullwhip entities. They were all launched towards the cowman (who, for the sake of easiness, will be named "Lambo").

However, "Lambo" had more tricks up his sleeves. In a semi-second, seeing the danger in which he was in, he took action. Rather annoyed at how Larkin was responding to his charge, he took out a green box and, with his lightning powers surrounding it, inserted his ring into the hole. Larkin frowned as he saw that, but was still confident that his tentacles would get there in time. How wrong he was. From the box emanated a green light that surrounded the cowman. The light transformed into a dark green armor, with an emerald crystal in the middle of its chest. It glowed fiercely, until Lambo shouted his spell. From it, tendrils of lightning power were shot, pinning and destroying the five shadow whips. Larkin let out his own "tch" sound, but his came with a smile. He was actually... having fun?! It was similar to when he fought the number 2 Sword Saints of Fiore, Hasaki Ryo. What a strong guy he was...

This is interesting!

In any case, with whips gone and with an armored Lambo, things were about to get ugly. But Larkin wasn't scared. In fact, he now knew he could defeat him. While the magical powers of Shadow☆Star had been made void, the sword itself was of higher quality than the rest of his blades. He ex-quipped his Explosion and dashed towards his opponent as fast as he could. Once he was within dangerous range of the electric horns, he placed his arms in an X formation, right above his shoulders. He then went with a cross slash, with as much strength as he could muster.

As Lambo charged at the sword mage after pinning down his Shadow Star shadows, the sword mage equipped another blade and fired and X-shaped slash at Lambo as he got close. The X met the lightning horns with a flurry of sparks, both stopping cold against one another, Lambo gritting his teeth as the X wave began to bite through his horns, then ducked, letting the X sail overhead and through the horns, passing Lambo to leave an X-shaped hole in the wall behind him. Reaching up with his fingertips, he faintly felt the sheared-off tips of the horns. "Whew....that's a scary attack you've got there." he said with a chuckle as he leapt back a number of paces, putting a little distance between himself and Larkin.

This time, the helmet he wore glowed emerald green, sending bolts of lighting into the sandy arena floor, the sand turning gray and metallic before rising into the air in clumps, clumps that swiftly melded together, forming a shiny metallic spear about 6 feet long and half a foot thick, with a trident-like three-pronged tip. Lambo grabbed the end of the spear, and immediately, lightning ran along its length, crackling against the metal. Lambo leaned back a bit and heaved the spear at Larkin like a pro, a leash of lightning keeping Lambo's hand and the spear connected like a sturdy rope.

After Lambo took out his mysterious green box and inserted a ring in the small round socket, electrical energy surged away from box and surrounded the cowman’s body. It created some kind of thunder armor, with an emerald core on the chest. It glowed with fierce green colors before sending electric rods that got rid of the shadow whips from Shadow☆Star. The Fairy Tail mage Larkin was surprised; it was the first time anyone had easily got rid of the bullwhips. Not even Ryo was able to destroy them, though admittedly, the fierce battle had been interrupted by Aiden. In any case, the mage watched as his plan to attack him from a distance was destroyed. This did not slow him down; on the contrary, Larkin went faster towards his opponent, holding his sword with his right hand. He then ex-quipped his Explosion in his left hand and went with his signature cross slash technique. For a moment, it seemed as if they were evenly matched, but quickly, Larkin’s attack overtook Lambo’s, making his opponent grit his teeth. Just a little more… The mage gave a last push, but the cowman knew better, so he ducked quickly, with the attack being so powerful it reached the wall, breaking it with an X shaped crater on it. Lambo quickly jumped to the side a few paces, creating some distance between them.

Whew… that’s a scary attack you’ve got there.

You’re not so bad either, cowman.

Larkin was interested to see what else the opponent had in store for him. Un-exquipping Explosion (since its power was used in that slash), he firmly held his Shadow☆Star with both hands and went into a stance, waiting to see just how much more his opponent could do. He noticed that the horns had been destroyed by Larkin’s “Twin Lion Song” attack, so his interest increased. His face changed. He was serious and an sharp aura surrounded him. Lambo would be able to feel the change in the mood. This wasn’t a game anymore; this was taken to the next level.

The cowman touched the horns and sighed. The helmet brought forth by the mysterious green box suddenly started to shine, sending lightning to the sand. What happened next could be described as electromagnetism (or magic, whichever works). The sand became ironsand. The ironsand lifted from the ground and began to form what appeared to be a spear. It was well crafted for something that was made a few seconds ago. The end of it resemble a trident and, as Lambo grabbed it, electricity ran along the weapon. He then threw it with extreme force and velocity, aiming to pierce Larkin with all of his might.

The mage noticed, as the weapon came dangerously and quickly near him, that an electric cord was connecting the cowman with his spear/trident. Larkin took a deep breath and got into position. When the spear was within the range of his blade, the Fairy Tail made a quick circling motion. As the sword hit the spear, the electricity went through his body, damaging Larkin; however, he was still able to unleash his air technique. Couple with the strength of his swing, the trident would be pushed back towards its sender with as much force (if not a little stronger) than when it was sent.

As the spear arced out towards Larkin, the sword mage slashed at it with his blade, the electrical current in the iron spear conducting through the metallic blade and giving Larkin a shock, but the sword mage managed to send the iron spear right back at its thrower with his Air Rave tech, the spear turning and zipping back to it's owner, who was struck by the spear in the gut, which, from the force of the spell that redirected it, pushed him back into the wall, a cloud of dust going up around the cowman. As the dust settled, however, it revealed an unharmed cowman with the spear sticking out of the center of his emerald shield, which now had a lovely crack spreading outward from the middle. The charge that the spear had been carrying was not spreading across the shield, but unlike Larkin, Lambo didn't seem bothered by it.

Lambo grabbed the spear by the hilt just under the tip and yanked it free of the emerald shield, rubbing the crack in the jewel slightly. "Close one." He held out his free hand as sparks played along it like dancing lights. "At least the lightning is working. You'd be quite scary if the lightning hadn't bothered you either." Lambo let the lightning leash fade from the spear, holding it in both hands as he ran at Larkin, intending to melee it up for a bit.

As the cow man created an iron spear with electricity coursing through it and whipped it towards him, Larkin Falzo decided to give Lambo a taste of his own medicine. Holding his Shadow☆Star tightly with both hands, he made circular motion as the spear hit the blade part of the weapon. An electric current coursed through his body, but only shocked the mage momentarily, just shortly enough for him to get his technique in place and send the spear right back towards Lambo, with the force of the Air Rave. Immediately afterwards, he got into a battle stance to see how this would all go and also to be ready for any other tricks. While at first it seemed like his idea was going to work wonderfully, the Fairy Tail mage was in for surprise.

The spear raced through the air, faster than before and spinning violently, so fast that Lambo took the attack right in the chest. Larkin sighed a relief that it landed a hit, but was soon reminded that prior to this, the cowman had surrounded his body with a green armor. Thus, the chest plate, while broken, had endured the incoming spear. Not only that, Lambo seemed unaffected by the electrical currents let out by the weapon, which made the whole concept of "tasting his own medicine" void. Lambo grabbed the spear and took it out of the armor. He then commented on how problematic it would've been for him if Larkin was immune to lightning-based techniques and all that jazz. Suddenly, the electric leash that was at the end of the spear disappeared and the cowman decided to make this a close quarters combat.

As the cowman dashed towards him, Larkin did the same and ran towards his opponent. With Shadow☆Star still in his hands and still operational, Larkin waited to be closer to the cowman. When said distance was perfect, the mage's shadow moved and seperated into four whip entities, each one of the aiming to wrap and hold one of Lambo's four limbs (arms and legs). Then, with the blade, he channeled magical energy, which turned into crimson colored energy. With it surrounding the blade, the mage slashed towards Lambo's chest. With said strength of Larkin, he would be able to destroy the chest plate and fatally injure the cowman.

As Lambo ran forward, Larkin countered with his own Shadow Star blade, using the shadows to bind Lambo's limbs and then strike at Lambo with unseen force, sending him flying backward into the wall once more, this time the impact shattering that part of the stands as a chunk of his shield bounced away from where Larkin had cleaved it off. Then a voice sounded from inside the dust cloud. "Not bad....I can't even remember the last time I had to take a fight this seriously." When the dust cleared, Lambo was still standing, rubbing at the spot Larkin had him him, but his giant emerald shield was gone. The surrounding iron sand he'd made had formed into horned armor around his entire form, giving him a fierce appearance, moreso with small forks of lightning playing along it like a breeze.

Cowman Armor

Lambo tilted his head one way, then the other, popping the neck bones loudly as he stretched. "Alright then. For real this time." And with that, Lambo rushed forward with more speed that anyone who'd seen his armor would have thought possible, running at Larkin with a fist clenched, which he'd use to slug Larkin in the gut once he got close.

(OOC note: Lambo's stats are now equal to Larkin's.)

OOC: Oh dear god why...

As the cowman came near Larkin and tried to attack him, through Shadow☆Star's power, the Fairy Tail mage controlled his shadows and created four whip-like entities that entangled each of Lambo's four limbs and thus created a perfect opportunity for him to strike. Focusing his magical energy within his sword, a crimson-colored aura appeared on all of Shadow☆Star's blade. With this, he would be able to finish this battle easily. Striking with quite some power backing his swing, the mage successfully landed a critical hit on the cowman to the chest, destroying the emeral protective piece of armor and sending Lambo flying to one part of the stadium's concrete wall.

Immediately after doing so, the mage dropped on one knee. Using that technique always took a toll on him. It was truly a high risk, high reward technique for him. Unfortunately for him, the battle wasn't over. From the dust cloud, he heard Lambo's voice and, for the first time since he got this mission... No, for the first time in his life, he panicked. Damn, damn, DAMN! What can I do?!?! As the dust cloud slowly cleared, the mage, heavily panting, could see what he would be up against next. Lambo's appearance had changed. He now sported a full-body armor, with even longer horns now, and the whole things was just sparkling with lightning bolts. From just earlier, the mage knew not to take too much of those jolts at a time.

Alright then. For real this time.

Lambo then dashed towards Larkin, intent on giving him one heck of a punch. The mage was still panting heavily, but he had to get back in the fight. He decided to switch weapons for now. Unsummoning Shadow☆Star, he then ex-quipped his Sonic Sword, Silfarion, and his Neon Sword, Million Suns. As the punch arrived for his gut, the mage placed swords downwards in an X formation aiming to block the hit. While the blades did manage to block said attack, the strength behind it was too great and pushed Larkin... no, sent Larkin flying himself towards the concrete wall. The collision created a dust cloud and Larkin was coughing blood. That power... It's... around mine, maybe slightly greater...

Not wanting to waste time on this battle anymore, he used two attacks, from the cover of the dust cloud. First came three air blades towards Lambo. While he would be distracted with those, the mage, still a little wobbly from using "Crimson Flower Torment", would jump out of the dust cloud, now mostly dissipated by the wind slashes. If Lambo dodged those, the mage had aimed his Million Suns at him. If he did move, Larkin would send a burst of light, the default power of his sword.

(OOC: Now you know how I felt when Sinjin used her Takeover just as mine wore off, xD)

Lambo thrust his fist forward, but was blocked by the crossed blades.....sort of. The actual punch didn't hit Larkin directly, but the impact still drove him back into the wall hard enough to crack it, just as Larkin had done to Lambo twice already. Lambo took a moment to adjust his horned helmed as the dust cloud flew up. Larkin took that moment to instead launch a trio of air blades from the cover of the dust cloud, Lambo side stepping one, jumping over another, and deflecting a third with his arm, giving the armor a lovely scratch on the bracer. Lambo saw him leap from the smoke and ran forward, crossing his arms as the Million Suns strike hit them, scorching both bracers as Lambo slapped his palms together then stretched them apart, a bolt of lightning appearing between the two, which Lambo prompty grabbed and threw like Zeus himself at Larkin.
