Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

OCC: With all the crap happening in my life, I have reason to have an excuse, but thanks for waiting.

When Koren made this charge, when he quickly run at his opponent, his arm extending with the book, his eye's choosing his target wisely and guiding his hand, he wasn't sure if Allea would have understood his little riddle. It wasn't like he made it obvious that he would be using such a small ploy. Encrypted strategy was something he had learned while he was training has a knight. Of course, he was only using the basic of it. And in truth, it would cause his opponent to actually either be dumbfound of his words, trying to guess what it is or ignore it entirely. But their eye's looked and a deeper understanding went between himself and Allea. Koren was a little surprised himself. He know she was hiding her past for some reason, but it seem by the looks of the recent event, that his and her had crossed each other had some point. It wasn't that big of a point, but it was there none the less. Still, even if the old man plan was great, he was thwarted at least. With a brilliant display of her magic, Allea distracted the already confused old man even further with some kind of swarm made out of magic. When his grasped over her gave out, she quickly seize the opportunity to completely get rid of it, by using her ''walking on the old man feet with a giant toes.''. The old man, to occupy by hurt toes, suddenly had a surprised look, when he heard Koren's voice, quickly trying to located his enemy.

''You want this book, you are served.''

He then felt a sudden pain in his face, and on the back of his head, has he was violently smashed against a wall, his brain only acknowledging the pain and the faq that the spawn was now holding him, with his right hand, pinned against the wall with the book he so desired painfully ''stabbing'' his left eye.

Koren glanced at Allea. ''Are you alright? My, that was some brilliant act of magic. But it also mean you are aware of the strategic thinking of a knight.'' Koren then turn back his attention back at the old man, his expression turning from worried to anger.

''Spill the beans, unless you want me to tear the skin of your face and knitted it on this book. Funny, I'll call this facebook.''

''Anything but that. I was only doing what my master ordered me. I don't know anything else.''
said the old man with a panicked look on his face, his eye's fleeing Koren's stare.

''Don't lie to me old man. You know something about it. And even if your old, you seem to have a lot of a strength. And you recognized me, so you know who my father was. Tell me, who are you working for and which secret my father was trying to uncover. Do it, or else.''

''Fine, I'll tell you. That book is the key to unlock something that was sealed a long time ago. Your father knowledge on enchantment was tremendous so he was hired by two party to take care of it. One of them, you already know. Or perhaps that girl over there could explain it to you. She has something to do with them. Your father was about to unlock him out of his seal, but at the last minute, that coward decided to make a turnabout and hide himself and cover his track. I think I've said enough. But wherever you go, my master shall track you done. We are the Crimson Cloak, we have awoken from our slumber and all shall fear us.'' said the old man before he activated one of his magic. A inner light course around, has his body was quickly consumed by an unnatural fire. Shocked by the sudden change of event, Koren quickly let go off his grasp, has the old man body was turn to ashes.

Allea nodded with a brave smile as the Exquip mage inquired about her condition whilst forcibly pinning her attacker to the wall. She absent-mindedly rubbed her throat where the offensive dagger had been pointing as she listened in to the exchange between mage and attacker, failing to grasp the facebook reference while her attention remained steadfastly on the old man in Koren's hold.

As she looked on, Allea pondered how the man had come to be here amidst the dusty walls of this place. After all he had run away from Koren in the first place as she recalled the young man's earlier account after they literally ran into each other on the market streets. He must have been hiding somewhere after that and spied on us since! she surmised. Imagining the intruder following her as she walked through the building, she shuddered at the thought of this insidious intruder lurking in the shadows, trailing her movements like an unseen wraith. How could I have been so careless! I shouldn't have left the front door unattended. Allea chided herself for her silly lack of vigilance, blaming herself for allowing her over-eagerness to retrace the past to put their lives in jeopardy.

The old man eventually conceded following further forceful persuading from Koren, divulging more truths that came hissing out between gritted teeth with menacing rancour. But it was the unexpected revelation of her family's involvement in the Falgasth patriarch's attempted murder that affected her most, shocking Allea to her core as the old man's words hit her like a charging ram, the implications striking her with such force that it knocked a gasp out from her tiny mouth. Allea stood still with her disbelieving ears deaf to the old man's words, her mind confused by the link he alluded to between her parents and the fate of Koren's father.

As she searched the foggy corners of her memories for something that would shed light onto the old man's cryptic claim, the aged accuser went on to reveal his affiliation with a clandestine organisation called the Crimson Cloak. Even though she did not understand the significance of this revelation, Allea knew instinctively it would be a name she would come across again in the future. Unbeknownst to them, events had been set in motion and the ramification of this encounter will echo down both mages' paths in the turbulent times ahead. As he finished, an unearthly fire that burned from within his being suddenly engulfed Koren's hostage. Seeing her opportunity to question the old man vanishing before her, Allea instinctively took a step forward without thinking, trying somehow to intervene and halt the unnatural flame.

"No!" she shouted as she got closer to the burning man, her tiny voice urgent and insistent even though she knew it was all too late. Consumed by the eerie flames, the old man's body crumbled into a grey pile of ash as Koren released his hold. She looked on in stunned silence before turning to Koren with concern in her eyes.

Koren was a little surprised by those revelations. Without thinking to much about it,
Koren started to walk back and fort in the room, his face expressing his deep thinking, his left hand on his chin. He knew is father was into something but he never would have suspect that two party would be in. 3 if you count the guild, whom he worked for. After putting in more thoughts, the guild wouldn't be interested in such a thing. They weir only there to give the job and nothing more. If the name, Crimson Cloak, didn't ring a bell, he could at least put an identity on the organization that was after the book. He doubt he would get much information about it, but maybe the council of mage would have heard of them. If they had cause much of a treat in the past, their should be a record of past action somewhere. Or did they leaved no trace in history? It could be bothersome, but then again, didn't the old man said that his master, whoever that be, would be looking for Koren? But that's means it wouldn't be safe to be around him. Coming to this conclusion, he suddenly stop walking, turning around to face Allea.

''It seems that it's going to be dangerous around myself for sometimes. Unless I found out more about it, I'm never going to get rid of them and I won't be able to go on with my life it seems. Unless I find protection somewhere. From the look of things, I won't find any with my past association. The more I think about it, the more it is obvious.''

He had come at this certain conclusion, that the knight were just using him.

''A branch of knight were keeping an eye on me. That, and the Crimson Cloak. Judging by what the old man just said, it seems that those knights have something to do with us both. Now I dunno how your family is involve in it, but seeing has you want to keep that information to yourself, I won't try and question you about it.''

He didn't want to turn like them. He didn't want to resolve to violence to get what he wanted.

''Figure everything will come in due time, be it from your or the knight themselves. I bet they will, too, try to get their hands on that book.''

He said while showing the book.

''Whatever is in that thing, it's dangerous. And it was protected. A strong protection that shouldn't have been trifle with. I guess my father underestimated what he was dealing with, back then.''

Koren could see a mental image of his father panic, when the monster was let loosed. Even if he was a seasoned mage, Koren was sure he wouldn't have been able to pull of such a strong seal at that time. No, someone must have helped him. And since he was working alone...

''Well, I guess I shall take my leave. I'd rather avoid getting you killed. That was a dangerous situation, before. I don't want it happening again. I'll be sure to keep in touch with ya, in some kind of way. Do you think we will meet again?''
he said with a small trace of hope in his voice. He didn't believe he would stand a chance alone, let alone survive a whole, well organized organization.
