Fairy Tail RPG Current News

Hey everyone! It's May and you know what that means? Yeah, me neither. There's not a whole lot in terms of major news right now, except for maybe some clarification on some forms of magic like usual. As for a new event? Right now, we're just having the April Event (Bosco Invasion part 3) taking place, which runs into the middle of May. But, one cool new thing that we're introducing this month is SS-Class items. Now you have something to grind and agonize over! Yay, isn't that just lovely? I think so. You can find more info on that in the Equipment and Item Creation section in the rules.

That's it for now, folks! If I get anything new to add to this you can guarantee that I will do so. In the words of the immortal douchebag rival, "Smell ya later." Keep on RPing everyone! Kill some Boscans!

History, his story. The past of all things, the stories passed down from father to child to his children and thus forth for all time. Recorded in ink depicated as the writer saw fit. We all have listened to campfire tales, was all have read a book accounting a war or the struggle of a man, we have even all heard of myth and legends of great hero's defeating evil and saving the damsel. However something that is written and made history isn't always true. For you see my friends, my followers, my peons, and my seeds of chaos, victors, those who rule the masses, those who walk away as the winners, those who tell the scribes to write history, they control history.

Masses read and know, accept and obey these pages with out question and by doing such the truth is lost, the truth is sealed away in the minds of those who changed history for there own benifit, for there own gain. What happens however if something slips thru the cracks? What if the truth wiggles thru the pages, snakes its way into the masses and finds the next person who shall change history, would it perhaps shake things up and change it for better or worse? Would the truth be set free or just bound in new chains? Time is the only thing that can determine this, not the wil of man, not the scribes or the masses, but time holds all the cards on where history shall turn.

It was a busy day in belladonna, and Vinkheart would be waiting at a fountain in the city square unguarded for once, but wearing his street clothes, his hood covering his face, and a smile on his face almost ear to ear. The clouds where gathering as if in anticipation for this day, for Vinkheart had sent out his second request, gathering all of those who would still follow him to the new fiore, those who would reep the greatest benifits of there lives.

The message was simple, come to Belladonna on this day and meet with Vinkheart in the center of the city, near the fountain. It would also simply say " It is time to guage the march. " It simple message and misleading and two faced as the man who wrote it. It seemed vinkheart had something planned that would set the speed of the plans to overturn Fiore for the better or for the worse.

This Vinkheart kid was a total dick. It had been months since everything. Since Wolf's Shadow, since meeting Aurec, since that time he got drunk, rowed a boat out to Galuna, was about to get some, and then the Kraken itself killed his girl, and then he got hungover. So on and so forth. Even though Diaev had gained his freedom of all things, why did he still come? Nothing threatened him any longer, noting really enticed him, not the rewards, he was rich enough as it was. On his walk out of the train station he realised what his incentive was. It was change. Though the man-child that was Vinkheart had royally screwed Diaev over by threatening him like that, he promised change, to crush the terrible system which held Diaev in iron shackles, that didn't support him after his harsh background. The system that left him on the ass in the cold as a teenager who could barely write properly or think for himself. He was going to crush all memories of that systems along with this man, he was going to wage war, pillage, kill, do whatever had to be done. As long as he could destroy that system, as long as he could fit in. When he thought about it on his walk, that's all he really wanted.

Though, today was rather troublesome. It was again, scorching. The giant himself had perspiration problems, he was huge, gave off a lot of heat, and therefore drank like a camel at every five minute interval. The large man just dragged himself along, a water bottle in his hand. He took long, occasional sips, and again, got the dreaded looks from everyone. Screw it, who gave a rat's ass what they thought today. It was one of those days where giving a shit was not on the damn menu. Diaev walked along, just grimacing at the card, remembering the events from before. That's right, he nearly killed a few kids. Christ, he acted like the devil that day, he was really pissy then too. What else? Oh, he explained his plan to a bunch of people who then lost Vinkheart in a large crowd, and were probably going to leak intel, but that probably wasn't something to worry about, seeing as the man child that was Vinkheart had something on every single one of them, Diaev included. Diaev was being too inquisitive again, he just shook his head and took another sip of his water bottle.

By the time Diaev had finished the water bottle, he had just about reached the centre of the city, right next to a fountain, he saw a boy just wearing your regular streets, with a hoodie on. As usual, the man-child stood out like a sore thumb so Diaev quickly approached him. He wiped his mouth of any of the water that might be left around his lips and quickly walked towards Vinkheart. Though he had put on a threatening demeanour, he hadn't really intended to and the other people in the square looked a little scared. Diaev wanted to stir up some trouble and say something like 'Yo' man, you got the stuff?' really loudly, but it was practically unguarded today so his attempts were futile. This kid was good at setting stuff up. Diaev stopped in front of Vinkheart and looked down at him, the dark eyes of the Iron Giant piercing into his very soul.

"Vinkheart..." Diaev said, a nostalgic feeling, the feeling of change suddenly graced Diaev as he said that name. "You did well setting stuff up, no guards I see...pretty impressive. So, Man-child, what the hell do you want to do today? Cause some terrorism? A kamikaze? An artificial earthquake?" Diaev teased, trying to stab at the boy for the trouble he had already put Diaev through.

Aya, order up! Get that ass in gear! What a jerk! Aya scowled and hurried up to the counter, snatching the plate that held a burger and fries, along with a cup of pop. She was dressed in her waitress uniform, though it's strange that she was the only one required to wear it. She put on a smile as she brought the order on hand to the table, greeting them with a friendly smile and her usual sweet disposition. She placed the food down, giving the patrons a wink and a bow before heading back to the counter. She leaned on it, crossing her arms on the cool surface. Her golden eyes stared down her mouthy co-worker. Jerk. Hey, Reggie, if you think this is such an easy job, then why don't you get out here and wear this dress. I'd love to see how long you'd last in these heels. She laughed and winked at the sweaty fry cook before standing and stretching a bit, letting out a soft yawn. Her shift had only just begun. Five more hours with Reggie and the endless supply of customers. She met all sorts that came in. Mages, knights, and your run of the mill civilians. She's seen them all, and was anxious to meet even more strangers and oddities. Hey, princess! Ya got another order! Get it going, sweet cheeks! Aya scowled and flung a wadded up napkin at the asshole before snatching up the plate. A slice of wild berry pie. The house specialty. The alluring scent danced around Aya's nares. She'd have to buy a slice after work. To keep herself from drooling any further, she hurried and delivered it to the hungry, waiting customer. She was thanked, she winking and bowing to the lucky, lucky patron before walking off. She was half way to the counter when she felt an odd presence. A feeling that made the girl shudder. Call it "demon senses," but whatever Aya felt, she was pretty sure that she didn't like it. It made her uneasy, very uneasy... Aya, get yer head out of the clouds! We got hungry customers! Alright! Geez, gimme a break! She growled and continued her work, she still feeling a certain foreboding presence in Belladonna that just wouldn't leave her alone. What the hell was she feeling?

Vinkheart wouldn't move a bit as the giant of a man made his way towards him. He would just stand looking at the fountain with his snake like grin, and a look of deep thought in his dark eyes. As his 'friend' joined him at the fountain and would greet him along with a bit of witty comment. Vinkheart would snicker lightly before calmly turning to Diaev " Oh Mr. Iron, how you never disapoint me. " he would tell him in a smooth and calm tone. Slowly looking toward a cafe then back to Diaev he would snicker again.

" Today we are going to recieve the map " he would tell him looking to group of people gathered around a vender selling trinkets. " That will lead us to the tool we need to lay the road to our new home. " he would explain to gave still using his crypic words to cover up anything that unwelcome ears may over hear. Looking back to the cafe he would let out a gentle and elegent sigh. " But for now " he'd tell his compatriot his tone picking a bit up in speed, his cool seeming to lessen. " Lets get a bite to eat, shall we? " vinkheart would tell Diaev as he glanced at him and then started to walk towards a quaint little cafe not far from the centre fountain.

Entering the cafe Vinkheart would lower his hood and give a pleasant smile to everything that would look his way as they entered. Turning his head calmly to Diaev " Leave your weapons at the door, you wont need them hear my friend. " he would say in a low voice before looking ahead to the first person to greet him and say " I'd like a table for two today if you would please. "

Diaev didn't say anything. Mr. Iron? Was he kidding? If anything Diaev was a steel user, iron was just flimsy and annoying. Diaev decided not to feed into the child's game. Sadly, they had to go and get a map. However, Diaev preferred a kamikaze pilot type thing, and he wished that was what they were actually going to do. Right now, they were just a pair of mindless terrorists looking for some way to escape the system, though, mindless is used loosely. He had some intelligent intelligence broker who managed to get a one up on Diaev rather easily, so they weren't exactly mindless in every sense. Yet. a map? A freaking map? What the hell were they going to do with that? Find the legendary excalibur and destroy the entire nation in one fatal swing? Unlikely. Diaev understood unwelcome ears were all around them, but he wanted to know god damn it, he hated being left in the dark about stuff. If he was fighting for something, he would rather know what it was, which was actually a pretty decent wish coming from the Iron Giant, notorious for burning bars and scaring children with that mug he called a face.

Diaev just nodded at the food comment, it felt rather generic, but he would follow it anyway. He stood closely by Vinkheart, the people from the previous meeting may have plotted against him since then, they might be bold enough for an attack regardless if Vinkheart had dirt on them or not. For some reason, Diaev was extremely protective of Vinkheart, it was like a father protecting his son in a way, but in a more super large giant and man-child kind of way. It felt kind of odd like this, he felt a lot like a bodyguard, a cheap guy used to throw punches and take hits, but this time it didn't feel too bad, it felt right, like he belonged to something. Diaev quit the mushy thoughts, and shook his head as he stepped into the Café, looking around at the waitresses. The outfits were just...just...amazing! So tight and well fit, short enough to see thigh but not long enough to be slutty. Oh god, he was in a cheap café heaven of hot busty chicks that wanted to take orders. Diaev was probably going to go for the cream pie today, well, if they had any left.

"What? I have to drop my shit?" Diaev sighed, almost slapping his hand against his head. He unbuckled his holster belt, putting it over the coat rack, and took off the giant sword on his back, leaning it on the wall just next to the coat rack. He looked around quickly, giving off the dark vibes that screamed 'touch my shit and I'll use your own foot to kill you', though, it wasn't that specific of course. Diaev then crossed his arms and walked behind Vinkheart, the need for a cigarette slowly growing.

Aya was running tables left and right. She was a bit more hard working than some of the other waitresses, she taking a majority of the orders. a lot of the usual customers liked her the best. She had just finished running food to another table when two more people walked in. My, my. Such a busy day! She put on a polite smile and grabbed two menus before walking up to the two men at the door. Welcome to the Belladonna Cafe! Table for two, right? Follow me! Oh! And don't worry about your weapons, sir! You can keep them with you. Just don't go starting any problems, okay? Aya gave the taller man a playful wink before leading them both to a corner booth towards the back of the cafe, it was a quiet spot and perfect for the two men. She waited for the two to take a seat before handing them their menus. She waited for them to get situated, she studying them closely. The shorter man was definitely cute and had an air of authority around him. The larger man, a gruff figure, seemed like the muscle of the duo. Then again, she didn't like to judge. He did have a frightening feel to him. She decided not to let it get to her. She had a job to do, after all. She reached into her apron and took out a note pad and her pen. She gave the duo her million dollar smile before speaking. I'm Aya, and I'll be your waitress! What can I get you handsome gentlemen to drink? Perhaps you're even ready to order? She didn't want to rush them into ordering, but there were always those few people who knew what they wanted at the very moment they entered the restaurant. Aya kept her smile, her golden eyes still studying the men as she awaited their orders, be it for drinks or for their meals. Either way, she'd serve them with nothing less than perfection.

Vinkheart would sit calmly at the table across from the Diaev. As the waitress would hand them there menu's he would pull his hood down revealing his full face and head. A few people would gasp and one or two of the other waitress's would drop dead in there tracks or drop what there where carying. As Dexter Vinkheart, fashion moogle and fashion model of one of the top name brands had just sat down in this little cafe.

Vinkheart would smile gently at the young waitress and then glance at the menu " I will have a glass of water, and request you serve us for as long as we require. " he would say and look back to the waitress. " As long as that doesnt inconvience you. " he would explain and wink gently at the girl before looking to Diaev. " How about your Diaev. " Vinkheart would ask leaving things to be extremely simple for once while they where under watch of the young waitress.

When Diaev sat down across from Vinkheart, he let out a little sigh. Suddenly, the young mastermind took off his hood and suddenly, people just stared, dropping dead. At first, Diaev thought they had been found out, but then remembered what his occupation was. A god damn CEO of a fashion model company, known throughout Fiore. Diaev let out another sigh, but one of relief as he remembered this, and listened to the whispers.

"Like, oh my god, is that the Iron Giant with him?"

"What're they doing together?" Diaev suddenly shot a sharp look at them, a silent way of saying 'shut the hell up, whore'. Then turned back to Vinkheart, who seemed rather smug with the entire situation. Diaev just glanced through the menu, he knew what he wanted. Something nice and sweet, it had been a while.

"I'd like a cream pie." Diaev asked, rather bluntly. "If you haven't got that, any kind of cake, and a soda or something, I don't care." The Iron Giant shrugged, and took out a box of cigarettes, he took one out, popping it into his mouth and offered the box to Vinkheart. He would put the box down, then with a flick of his wrist, he created a lighter out of thin air, not a spell too taxing. He lit his cigarette, and then, if Vinkheart had one, he'd light his too. Then, it promptly disappeared into thin air, and the Iron Giant sat back again.

Aya looked around curiously when the shorter man pulled his hood down and set the room alive with chatter and shocked expressions. She didn't get why people were acting so odd. She grew up in a secluded village. She wasn't all up to date on Fiore's celebs, but it appeared that these two were well known. She just kept up the sweet, oblivious smile. She began to scribble down orders as the shorter man's order, but stopped and looked at him as he asked her to serve them as much as they needed. She blushed a little when he winked at her, she quickly turning to face the larger man when he began to speak. She smiled when he asked for pie. Perfect! You're in luck! We have the best pie in Belladonna! I'll be right back, gentlemen. She winked and walked up towards the counter to prepare the drinks when her co-worker grabbed her shoulders and shook her.

Ohmigawd, Aya!! Let me take that table!! Do you have any idea of who those two are?! Please, please, pleeeeeeease?! Aya blinked and stared blankly for a moment, trying to process the excited girl's request. I..I don't know who they are, but I'm not giving up the table. I need the money. Go get your own, Mei! The girl pouted and shook Aya again, nearly causing her to spill the water she was about to pour for the shorter man. But Ayaaaaa! That's Dexter Vinkheart and Diaev CarabanchiI Dexter is a famous fashion model, and Diaev is...well...he's just a monster... BUT VINKHEART!!!! You're soooo lucky!! And so greedy...you get all the hot ones. The girl huffed and walked away. Aya just sighed. She poured Vinkheart's water, then got Diaev's cola and banana cream pie. She tucked straws in her apron and placed everything on a tray before walking it back to the table. Here you go, guys. She gave Vink his water and took one of the straws and placed it next to the cup. She then placed the cola and the plate with the slice of pie down in front of Diaev, followed by a straw and a spoon and fork wrapped in a cloth napkin. She then noticed the cigarette in the giant's mouth. She gave a nervous smile before speaking. Uhm..forgive me, sir, but I must ask that you put the cigarette out...I'm aftraid you cannot smoke in here.. She bowed apologetically before speaking one last time before leaving the men alone to eat. Can I get you anything else?

Vinkheart would wave at Diaev as he offered a cig, normally he would be up for a quick smoke when plotting things but as things where he had to keep some sort of false guise up while being infront of all these little sheep. If he smoked infront of them a bump in cig's would hit this town and Vinkheart would have to deal with a few new companies and all sort of ther bothersome work that he didn't want to deal with currently. He had placed a patsy at the head of the business for now who would stall things just long enough for him to complete what he needed to do in the current.

However once this task was completed it would be time for Dexter Vinkheart to bring his new friend home. His parents would obviously approve but then again who cared since they where both away in permagrande on vacation. Leaving the house to Dexter to do with as he pleased, then again that wasnt differnt from normal he just had more people to order around when he parents where home.

As the waitress left Vinkheart would smile to the masses as they stared and whispsered this and that, that started to get on Diaev's nerves. However Vinkheart would put him to ease as he chuckled lightly " They are all just sheep, but this waitress holds the keys to the map. Play nice just for a little bit longer and we shall get down to the matter. " Vinkheart would say slowly and calmly in a low voice so just Dieav could hear him.

Sure enough the girl Aya returned with there order post haste and presented it to them both. Chuckling lightly he would take a sip of his water and place his hand on the end of the table nearest Aya. " Little miss " he would say in a low voice getting the waitresses attention. " I have one more thing to request of you " he would tell the girl slowly looking toward the girl, as he did his hand would slide across the table back to him, reaching into his coat. " I was informed that you could do me another service " he would tell her his voice still low to not draw attention but his orders wildly miss leading, surely bringing Diaev's thoughts to quite the same place they where when they entered the cafe.

He would pull forth a tatter, burnt, and what looked stabbed a few times, note book. It seemed aged and obviously been thru hell and back as it was barely able to keep bound together. " I recently came into ownership of a extremely rare and possibly valuable tome. That holds vital historical value to Fiore. " he would say placing the book on the table and pushing it slowly towards the waitress. " Its sadly encoded or in another languaged im not familer with, I was told you would be able to remedy this. " He would explain to the girl keeping his hand atop the book so no one could just snag it.

"I would pay you for your time and inconvinece if you would handle this book and tell me of its contents as I would like to know what it contains before I donate it. " he'd say feeind her a believeable lie that anyone could believe. In truth the book he had just set on the table was with out doubt something the magic council wished didnt exist and would do anything to finish destroying. Vinkheart had recovered it at great trouble and held it on his body for some time now seeming immune to the creepy aura it would start to emit as Diaev and Aya would look upon the book laying on the table.
