Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Tormoru resisted the urge to sigh once again. This bozo was just another, I'm going to rip you apart guy. How sad, driven by violence, at least Tormoru used her violence to get information or to teach someone a lesson. She also didn't appreciate him dragging her into the thuggish image, she wasn't going to trash the place and everyone in it, that would take time and once again there'd be no where to protect and hence no income. The method was to torture the son of a bitch if he didn't comply, and cause him to cough up the money. However it seemed to work and soon the owner was handing over the goods. All she had to do now was make sure none of these locals got their balls back, it would be too bothersome for the both of them. However Obermoron had another thing in mind. Inclining his head towards the box he expected her to get the money.

Her brow furrowed into a frown, her eye narrowed and glared towards her partner. How dare he order her about, they may be both from the same guild but no one except Sion or Master Vile could tell her what to do. She wanted once again to run him through with her blade, to use her beautiful dagger top slice the head from his shoulders. Oh how she wished he would just drop dead. This was her mission and he had the cheek to give orders. Her gun hand wavered in anger, however a couple of the patrons thought it was nerves. They approached with fierce fists, though both were drunk Tormoru didn't want to be hit. Sliding her right leg back she ducked in a ready position. Using her envy she placed the muzzle on the first man's knee. With annoyance she pulled the trigger, sending a bullet to shatter his knee. As the first drunk screamed out in pain she moved to the next guy, swivelling around and getting behind the lowlife she placed the gun on his shoulder this time. Like before another round was shot off with a terrifying cracking sound and scream to follow. Completing her movement she spun round to aim the gun back at the crowd, halting them from advancing further. Smiling as the two men collapsed she would seem very menacing. "I said sit down didn't I?" She said, cocking her head to the right so they would know she meant business.

These people irked her so much. It was the middle of the day and they were getting drunk already. There was nothing wrong with having the odd morning and afternoon drunk but getting absolutely rat faced before the sun receded behind the horizon was was just sad. Waiting for them to sit she then decided she wanted to exit this hell hole before she became an idiot herself. Escaping meant that she would have to obey her partner's order, or how she liked to put it, his suggestion. Returning her gun to its place at her side she decided not to clip it in fully, pulling it out quickly would allow to stop any more rebellious behaviour before it escalated. Treading carefully over the bleeding men she flicked the latch on the box open and lifted the lid, finding a set of jewels inside. Taking enough to satisfy the amount specified she shut the lid again and funnelled the bounty into the sack she was collecting all of the money in. Walking to the owner she bent over and reached for his top pocket. A small whimper proceeded, which was useless and caused Tormoru to bear her teeth. As the pearly whites gleamed at him she used her forefinger and thumb to pick the pen in his top pocket. "I'll be taking this for a second," She uttered, retrieving a piece of paper from her top pocket.

Folding it out she revealed the names of the establishments they were to visit. One was crossed off and with the swipe of her hand another followed. Two down and four more to go she was excited to see if they would have any more rebellious behaviour, to oppose Tartaros was to arrange your own funeral. Looking at where to go next she tried to think what route they would take. The next destination was the city hall, probably to collect the small amount of tax Tartaros made the council establish. Why should the townspeople get let off with paying the guild when they made sure no other horrible guild could waltz in and make their lives hell. However she was told it was disguised under a community regeneration tax which almost made her laugh.

The piece of paper was folded back to its square form and slid back into her top pocket. Replacing the pen in the man's pocket she tapped his cheek and smiled. "Cheer up, you've got your tavern, sorry for my partner's rough handling. Make sure you have the money ready next time and I'll just ask," She sweetly spoke, standing up straight and walking towards the exit, "I suppose you should get somebody to look at their wounds, that is if you want to save their limbs. Come on Obermoron, our time is being wasted!" Shouting back to her partner she walked out, allowing the sitting patrons relax slightly.

As she waited for the man to follow her out she couldn't help to think what would have happened if Oberon had taken the subtle approach. She'd only had to be that rough with the cafe owner because he tried to run, obviously the Bar owner had the money set ready to give but the male dark mage jumped right in their with his fists and caused a scene to happen. Hoping to not cause such a one at the city hall she stared at the door for her partner to appear.

Oberon was conflicted somewhat, it was true that he loved fighting but he didn't know if this increased amount of rage was beuase of him or some spirit who sought to use him for his own personal gain. He raised an eyebrow at that thought. He was no stranger to the things of nightmares or their kind. The world was a dark place filled with lies and deceit, he was a disciple of unscrupulousness this was true but he was not the pillar of truth behind it, there were limits to what even he would do. If this were not a mission where he was required to retrieve something that which was lost before then he would have given this man the opportunity to yield the money to him and Tomoru. It unsettles him slightly but he was still smart enough to keep his wits about him as he was looking around the bar. He let his eyes wander around as he thought, there was nothing this man possessed anymore that he could possibly want really besides the money. It was true that he wanted to fight but that was just him always moving on to the next challenge that appeared before him. Oberon didn't realize that he was in fact still holding onto the collar of the owner and quickly let go of him as he realized his mistake and loosened his grip enough so that the man could weed out of his hold. Force was his main strength after all, talking and sneaking about was the way of cowards, a path that he hated greatly, cowards should be probed and tested to see why they were so feeble and weak minded.

Oberon sighed before turning around as the barman reeled in surprise as he was abruptly let go of. the bar seemed to have a faint smell of garlic for some reason which really just didn't agree with him at all as he turned to face Tomoru who was holding the money in her hand. He stopped before exiting the building and quickly walked back to the bar table and slammed a small pouch of jewels on the table, "take it as compensation...next time do you and me a favor and just pay willingly; after all its just once a month right? Or would i have to bring my associates back here...good evening" Oberon said to the barman before exiting the establishment behind Tomoru who seemed slightly agitated. What had her panties in a twist? He shrugged before shaking his head, he still couldn't help feeling out of his own body today, his spirits weren't acting up inside of him, in fact they actually had not spoken for quite some time to him! That was strange, he was often at the guidance of the two spirits as they were almost like family to him, after all, its not like they could go anywhere right? He chuckled at his own dark little joke as he thought about all that had happened to him recently, it was nice to join a guild even though it wasn't the guild he had wanted at first, what could he say to argue? Sinjin was a good salesman! He laughed slightly as he thought about the silly boy, he was one of the few friends he could actually say he had.

Oberon kept walking along the streets of Coreopsis as he let his thoughts wander back and forth. His mind and thoughts finally rested upon his partner who had by now stopped in front of a large building. He growled rather loudly this time as he looked up at City hall up ahead. Apparently she didn't know much about his relationship with the government now did she? He looked at the large domineering doors before back to Tomoru, "I think you should lead this one, i have a very long record against the government for many reasons" Oberon said not trying to meet her eyes. If she asked to many questions he might have to actually show her his wings which were hidden by his gray jacket. That would put a spike through there teamwork for sure but he really didn't mind, everyone else was intolerant about them, why not her? Oberon sighed as he could tell she would still be slightly upset, "hey i uh......" He stopped as he really didn't know what to say, he could feel her frustration but really didn't know where to start so instead shook his head before talking again, "never mind i guess... Lets go Tommy" He said walking up the marble stairs to the city hall, oh boy he was going to have to cool his jets or else shit was about to get uglier then joe mama.

The inside of the town hall was vast and much of it was constructed out of marble as well as gold linings. He bit his bottom lip as he remembered the sadistic experiments that the so called, government, inflicted upon him. He could tell how things would change hopefully for the better but these days it was all just to hard to tell for him as he thought about all that had happened. There were four benches on each side as well as a reception desk in the center with two grand staircases behind it leading up towards the main door.

The clerk looked at him, or receptionist he should say as that was the area he was standing at. Oberon just put on his fakest smile he could manage in front of the employee and waited for Tomoru to get the hell in here so that he could get the hell out!

It took a while for Oberon to exit from the tavern, probably pulling more much loved people over the counter or something. She didn't mind though, considering the time of year the weather was fairly warm and so wearing a short skirt and fairly thin shirt was fine. Granted she did have her coat covering her, which preserved her heat very well yet was light. Sweeping a few strands of hair from her face she placed them neatly behind her ear and continued to stare at the tavern's entrance. How long did it take to walk a few metres for this guy? If he didn't hurry Tormoru would be forced to leave him behind and take all the rewards and glory for herself. Toying with the idea for a few seconds she thought it'd be best to stick with the strange guy, after all he had proved semi useful.

That aside she felt uneasy around the guy. He was definitely hiding something, both under that huge grey coat of his and in that probably sick and twisted mind of his. She had good instincts and her's were telling her that this guy was not right. However she was stuck with him, which meant she'd have to keep her guard up to save herself from her strange knew partner and any dangerous non payers she may meet. The rebellious establishment owners hadn't been that hard to persuade yet, even with Obermoron's decision to stray from the more subtle approach there hadn't been much trouble. After all the guild wouldn't send it's bottom mages into much danger, or else there wouldn't be much of a guild now would there.

Sighing she waited for another few seconds before the imbecile emerged from the establishment. "Thank god you finally got out of there, what were you doing, powdering your little nose?" She asked tauntingly, it wasn't if he had actually been in there for that long but he had made this extraction of money a whole lot messier than it could have been. Turning on her heel she simply walked forward, glancing back and moving her head like she had been doing to indicate to Oberon to hurry up. The establishments she had to visit were that far from each other, in fact most main streets connected to most of them. The largest street in Coreopsis lead her straight to the town hall, a round shaped building with a bell on top. Thinking on how many times the bloody bell had woken her up the purple haired girl so wanted to be able to crush the building into small tiny rocks but knew it was a distant dream. She would be able to sometime in the future, but she wasn't that powerful yet and with idiots like him she wouldn't be able to any time soon.

"Lead this one...of course I am, I'm not letting you destroy this contract by dragging the receptionist over her desk and throwing her out the window!" She shouted, causing some passers by to stare at the couple. 'Damn it, thinking he can suggest things once again. Making me lose my cool all the time, once I get this mission over and done with I'm going to make sure Sion kills him, I'll tell him the bastard felt me up and such.' The menacing thought caused the purple haired mage to smile, that was until her dark mage pet talked again.

"Yes?" She answered as he stuttered, only to be irritated even more with him saying it didn't matter of something. That and he called her Tommy...no one gave her a nick name she didn't want...no one. "Who the heck are you calling Tommy, I ain't a boy, a boy doesn't have these! and what did you want, don't stutter and be a freaking wuss!" She shrieked, grabbing her breasts in the flurry of anger to support her point. However she realized the awkward situations and turned immediately red. She didn't know why but she had gotten embarrassed over it, not something that happened often. As the freak of weird town wandered past her she stamped her foot like a tantrum versed fiver year old. "Just shut up and keep your hands by your sides you!" She called after him, still angry over the stupid nick name.

The main reception wasn't busy yet still it was not sparse. A few suited men scrambled to their next meeting, briefcase in hand and ready to be opened to show the lack of work they had done. Tormoru hated suits, not the clothing but the people. They wandered around like they were o-so important where they are just commoners in fancy clothes. They didn't do any hard work, no, more the work that any other person could do for half the price. Making sure her hatred was not portrayed to the receptionist she smiled politely. "I believe I have an appointment with the financial director, is he in yet?" The dark mage asked, proud that she had been pre-emptive enough to book ahead. "Of course, what's your name?" The woman asked, making sure they weren't trying to lie their way in. Ironically Tormoru had given a different, more common name and so once given the path was cleared for her to go negotiate with the city's money man. "You stay put here, I don't need your hot headedness in this meeting," She barked behind her as she closed the door, not wanting Oberon to follow and mess this stop up as well.

Oberon shuddered as he looked around the shiny marble town hall. God why the hell did this happen to him. He groaned as he could see his black haired reflection in the floor. It was weird a bit, his eyes seemed to be lacking in their usual blue glow. Oh what the hell! Why was he even worried about this stuff anyways? He wasn't some prissy light mage! Oberon sneered at that, light guilds they called themselves do gooders. Ha, there was a funny thought, deep down inside everyone is just a monster. Its only the people like him who were true to themselves enough to let it out, that is what made a dark mage, not their power or how evil they claimed to be. What made a Dark Mage was how true to themselves they were and what they wanted in this life and how far they were willing to go to get it for themselves. Oberon shrugged at no one in particular while Tomoru spoke with the receptionist. It was probably for the best that he did not go in, he was like oil mixing around with this shiny marble tank of water, they just don't mix in the slightest. Light mages were truly weak, they call themselves powerful and fight for some hidden noble cause, but deep down they cannot fathom the abilities that Darkness and its power. While he was no die hard, imma kill all of y'all, guy he was true to what he wanted although he felt his faith in himself lacking when it came to the situation of his partner and other guild mates such as Sinjin Fallencrest.

"Whatever, just don't take to long, we need to get the other stops as well" Oberon said at the purple haired girl when she commanded him to stay. He was hot headed? What the hell? She really needed to check her brain as the way he saw it things were exactly the opposite. That situation at the bar was just him being true to himself, not that he was hot headed, she may be a mage like him but she had oh so much more to learn as well as she was obviously not being true to herself. That was why the black winged boy did what he did after all! I mean he was honest enough to himself to admit that it was surprising yet kind of hot when she gripped her breasts like that, hell in his opinion besides the missing eye, she really wasn't half bad in terms of looks, although the thought of dating was far from his mind, but not a totally dead subject, but he had to be professional right? still though..... He was honest to himself but just would never say something like that to someone or do that for reals. Oberon shrugged as he felt his hands slide into the pockets of his jacket. His trust in his partner had just dropped by twenty as she claimed to have made an appointment for meeting the mayor. Dammit, if she was good with the up and ups then shit was about to hit the ceiling as like mentioned earlier, combining him and law in any official form was something that was just not physically or mental possible on both sides as doing so might cause the black winged boy to shoot an arrow of light or flamethrower at the person much less then agree with them, she was right about something at least.

Oberon was conflicted when it came to his guild mates really. Most of them were over cocky and he would not hesitate to drop kick them through a window if he could, although doing so would break one of his other morals about trying to be good natured to his guild mates. Tomoru was obviously one of those people but he had not put her name on the list of people he would kill someday just yet, there were multiple reasons that he didn't. The first being that he had forgotten his list in his suitcase back at his apartment near the guild, the second was he felt like he could still prove himself somehow or some crazy shit like that. Whatever it really wasn't his thing; he was more of the lone wolf who was count by no chains. Still he felt as though he wasn't doing anything while his guild mate went to the mayor.

"Might as well find something to do" he murmured to himself before wandering off in his grey jacket. He needed to take his jacket off as his back was getting cramped at the moment from his wings pushing against them. From the lobby he walked to the bathrooms before locking the door behind him and unzipping his jacket and hanging it on the side of a stall door. He groaned as he felt his wings unfold through the holes in the back of his shirt. His black feathery raven like wings expanded and stretched as they had been restricted to the confines of his jacket for far to long that day, although he would never show them to anyone besides his closest friends at risk of long lasting insults and weird remarks about some crazy mating stuff that was totally false in his opinion.

Oberon turned the faucet on and splashed some hot water on his face to wake up his senses a bit as he was rather tired. It was kind of weird really, lately he had been fine but now he could not hear his spirits that frequently. In fact the last time that he had heard them they were telling him to go around the back of the first building they were at and wanted him to knock out the man and take the protection money to which Oberon went, Hell no! And thus walked in the front meeting his partner Tomoru, who seemed slightly strange. He chuckled as he could tell she was rather well.... interesting, to him. One thing was her personality although it was bossy and paranoid, another was how her eye was missing and yet there was no glass one underneath. He sighed before splashing another handful of warm water on his face.

The room she had entered was smaller than expected though its exquisite art pieces and decoration made up for its underwhelming grandness. There was two small sofa's placed right up to the furthest away wall, which was incidentally only a few steps away. The two sofa's were identical twins, both made up of deep dark wood and a vibrant maroon colour material. Along the edge of the cloth small metal bumps outline it all, essentially attaching it to the wood. Between the two couches was an elegantly carved wooden side table supporting a porcelain white and blue vase that looked like it was worth some money. Along the panelled walls various superbly framed pictures of vast landscapes and beautiful ladies of luxury hung, almost whispering to Tormoru to take them. However she did not want to jeopardise the contract her guild had with the town hall. Quickly averting her eyes she found herself staring out of the full length window. Like no wall was there the window looked out upon part of the water Coreopsis floated. Smiling as she appreciated its beauty she decided best if she sat, after all she ha no idea how long she'd be waiting.

Taking a seat on the red coloured sofa she found it to be soft to the touch. The seat cushioned whoever sat on it well and so the wait was relaxing. Sitting with her legs crossed she took the time she had to check over what she had. First recounting the jewels, making sure no worthless piece of crap had short changed her. With the right amount in her leather money she then grabbed her gun. Checking how many bullets were in the magazine she counted out the six that were left. She really didn't like wasting her bullets but she'd be able to get the guild to buy some more. Especially when she reports why she had to waste two of them.

The clock ticked by monotonously like usual, something that usually irritated her. Not really liking loud clocks she found it fairly soothing as she waited for her meeting. It was another few full rotations of the thin second hand before someone came through the door to her right. A tall, slender woman who showed off the most incredible pair of legs, making Tormoru slightly jealous. With her blonde hair tied tight in a bun and a set of glasses she looked like the usual sexy secretary these higher ups preferred to have. Rolling her eyes at how those kind of guys liked those perfect women types she listened to what the secretary had to say.

"Mr Dunbue is ready to see you now, please come this way," The woman said with no real hint of emotion. The dark mage placed the magazine back into the gun, causing slight alarm in the secretary's eyes, "I would ask you to hand any weapons you have over to the security guard before you enter his office, they're situated in the room beyond." Tormoru didn't really mind, truth be told she had thought the security had been a bit too lax. However she saw that the case was they placed the best security with the most important people. Entering the small intermediate room she was welcomed by two, towering beast like men in black suits. In the usual style their eyes were covered by dark glasses and wired into their ears was a coiled cable for communication. Placing her blades and gun in the small tray the black haired one presented she was then granted entrance to Mr. Dunbue's personal office.

The style of the office matched that of the waiting room she had sat in for some time. However the window in this one was much wider, giving a beautiful view across the water. Not being able to not smile she tried to hide it. "Ahh Miss Isil was it? Please have a seat and we can start talking about business," The slim man behind the desk beckoned, resembling his secretary in stature and in some way look excluding the fact he was male and had black hair. As she could not see what he was wearing under the desk she sure hoped he did not take a fancy to wearing skirts.

"Thank you Mr. Dunbue," She replied, sitting in one of the large regal armchairs," however I don't think there will be much discussing, I've only come here for one thing." Holding the back of her hand up to show off the Tartaros tattoo once more. The financial man's eyebrows rose up. He acknowledged the guild tattoo and the manner of business Tormoru was here for. His face suddenly broke into the smile and he opened the draw beside him. As the purple haired mage started to feel on edge she watched as Dunbue brought out something. Worried it was a weapon of some sort she looked for something she could use to counter attack. A pen, no use against a blade yet if she was fast enough she couldn-"Don't worry Miss, I'm just getting my diary out." He said, opening the black book. Flipping through the pages he stopped at one with many many scribbles.

"Oh, I'm just thought that-" She started, only to be interrupted by the man holding up his hand. Astounded at what he had just done she went to grab her gun in a reflex response, however it was not there. Settling with giving him the evil eye Tormoru sat there for a minute or so before a eureka like moment came to being for Dunbue. "Here it is, we owe the guild, yup this much. That should be fine, we've got enough for that," He talked to himself, turning his chair to the intercom lacrima system he had on his desk,"Sue, bring the money we owe the T.T. Company." Giving a wink to Tormoru as the door to her left opened the blonde secretary came in with a couple of satchels of jewels.

"Well then Miss, here is your money, I can assure you its all there. We don't want to receive the wrath of you guild and so we won't mess you around. Thank you for the protection you give this city and all my dear. Sue will lead you back to the foyer." The man seemed slightly smug and sarcastic as the blonde woman handed Tormoru the goods. Placing them into the satchel bag that hung from her shoulder she was then shuffled back to where she expected Oberon to be. However it seemed he and wandered off. 'Stupid man, he's acting like a stray dog wandering off.' She thought, keeping one hand over the bag.

OOC

Oberon splashed some water in his face to wake up his senses once more before grabbing a paper towel to wash his face off. Damn, he needed a nap or something after this as he had been up all night, although that was a story not relevant to what was going on at the moment so he might as well just forget about it. He shrugged before wiping his eyes with his wet fingers and finally buttoning back up his shirt. He frowned when he saw the security camera in the corner of the ceiling. Whatever, if they gave him trouble they would find a very hard fight being pinned up against them like a wave upon stone. Although he was all to sure that his reluctant partner would not like the notion of fighting again in the least as she was, well, more untrue to herself then he was. She was too reluctant to fight and instead hid behind her gun and tried to go around an obstacle. A foolish thing in his opinion, if someone came screaming at you with a machete and hockey mask then you wouldn't try to talk your way out of it! You would use your magic and pummel the guy into the ground! Stealth was not exactly something that he favored all that much nor did he like being slow and winding instead of to the point, life was too short to be beating around the bush, especially in the profession of a Dark Mage.

Oberon sighed and looked out the window into the gray evening that was descending as the day whether on. He frowned, they were making bad time in his opinion, and at this rate they would be back at dinner unless the two amped their game up a little bit. Whatever, he needed the money for his apartment and he was getting tired of throwing insults and threats at the landlord about paying rent. He shook his head and ran his hand through his black hair before grabbing his gray jacket off the peg and slipping it on. Better, he was warmer now that he was back in it. Although he was not much of a fan of having to cover his wings as they pushed against his gray jacket a bit and tended to give him cramps unless he was in his take over form. Oberon ran his hand on the edge of the counter as he walked out of the bathroom into a hallway near the lobby. Damn, where was he? Oberon groaned as he was never exactly the best for directions nor was he known for being good with them in the slightest as he was more of the person who would instead be making his own path by blowing up a wall in front of him or something like that. Oberon shrugged before tapping his foot on the floor receptively before looking down both of the hallways and setting down one.

He pushed a strand of hair out of his eye as he walked, damn; he needed to get a haircut soon. He growled as he heard footsteps behind him, must be just another employee eh? Oberon really wasn't in the mood to fight right now as he had more important things to do such as getting the money this guild sent him out here to retrieve. Oberon walked on along the hallway trying to regain his bearings, as it was quite obvious that he was lost. By now he was opting to simply just ask for directions but for some reason there was no one there! He frowned as he quickened his pace a bit as he walked along only to hear the man behind him quicken his pace as well. Something was definitely not right as he could see the few security cameras turning around until they were facing the wall and clearly this was done on purpose as Oberon walked forwards slightly faster as he started thinking. It was time to review the facts again; here he was, in the middle of city hall with all the security cameras facing away from him and a mysterious person behind him following him? Coincidence? I think NOT! Oberon thought to himself before turning around and stopping to see a man in a black suit and earpiece reach behind him as if to grab something, damn!

Oberon’s hunch was right as for some reason this guy wanted him dead. The black winged demon quickly enveloped himself in an aura of light covering this entire body until he was standing in the form of Yinzami the light hunter causing him to instinctively throw his arms up as the man whipped out a gun with a silencer while Yin summoned an arrow of light over his head before throwing his arms forward while jumping to the side as the man shot the gun with the silencer muzzle which whizzed right past Obermorons stomach as he swore. Oberon in his Yinzami form launched the arrow of light forwards at the man like a heat seeking missile causing it to explode upon impact knocking the wind out of the man long enough fro Oberon to rush forwards and raise his foot up before doing a quick kick to the head of the doubled over man who was still reeling from the last attack that had obviously taken him by surprise. Oberon watched as the man fell back knocked out cold, it was a pity. The black winged demon really didn't want to have to fight this man. Why he wanted to kill him could have been for a number of reasons, thought Obermoron was a freak, mage of Tartaros, etc. Point being was that Oberon didn't care all that much at the moment as he looked down at the fallen man who was groaning and clutching his chest as Oberon reverted back to his human form and promptly spinning on his heels walking down the hall as if nothing had happened.

Oberon found himself back in the lobby a few seconds after Tomoru had apparently just come back out. He walked across the large and spacious lobby eager to leave the government building as the day was dwindling on, that and he really didn't want to have to explain to her about having to use his magic. Oberon did not yet have faith in his companion yet, one could never tell who ones allies were, and who were merely pretending to be; and he could tell, she was pretending. He rubbed the back of his head before asking in a laid back manner, "Alright, where next? I'm getting tired of the bad music they play here" Oberon said, referring to the bad music that was gently played out in the lobby of the building as well as the lobby. Oberon was a goddamn rocks star not some wuss who listened to bad elevator music over a P.A system! He groaned, as he looked up at the speaker, oh how he was tempted to launch an arrow up at that thing...so tempting! Oh well, he probably couldn't hit if he tried. He looked back to Tomoru with an attentive yet glazed look in his eye as he waited for where it was they were going to next as he was to lazy to grab the mission sheet in his pocket, hell he was too lazy to inquire about his partners life, not that he wanted too though really.

The moron strolled from down some stairs nice and calmly. What had he been doing, she'd wasted time waiting for him and now he was walking nonchalantly towards her. She had the right mind to drive her fist into his face but that would cause a scene and she'd done well for one not to occur. Simply glaring at him with one eye she met his glazed expression, which pissed Tormoru off even more. Clamping her teeth down behind her lips she resisted the urge to kick off, instead she calmed herself. "Hope you haven't been giving anyone some trouble, I asked you to stay here, next time I might have to use my magic to enforce that..." She bitterly relayed, adjusting her bag to a more comfortable postion,"Oh by the way I got the money so we only have a few stops left, maybe we'll get home for you're mother to cook you some din dins and tuck you in."

Tormoru wasn't proud of the way she taunted people, who was she kidding of course she was. She just hoped the black haired mess called Oberon would get annoyed by it. Yes she could be annoying when she wanted be, after all Obermoron had irritated her many a time this mission, a taste of his own medicine. As her boots clacked down the steps of the building's exterior she heard the jewels jangle. They'd collected this much already, which meant hopefully the guild would be happy. A cheery grin was on her face as her feet hit the public pavement, soon she'd be heading back with a bag full of riches and her first mission would be a success...hopefully.

The reward was good for this mission as well, for what it was. Paying bills was something she didn't really do but after she did this she was going to look for a flat. It was tiresome sometimes to have to find a man, sleep with him and then use his bed, food and other stuff. She wanted to sleep in an unstained bed for at least one night and with no drunk bastard next to her. Finally her own place and if she became a better mage she'd be able to keep it like that. Soon they were on another of Coreopsis's main bridges and so Tormoru paused at the area to have a quick look and see where they next needed to go. The dark mage hadn't really explored this place, which was understandable when she waited most days in the guild for something to happen, returned to the taverns, and found a victim to spend the night with. It was a time consuming lifestyle which didn't allow sightseeing. Granted she wasn't supposed to time waste now she felt obliged to agitate Oberon a bit more, since he made her wait and all. Plus she was doing something as well which made her less useless than him. Unfolding the paper once more she traced her finger to the next place.

'So, we have the Knight's station first and then we have the market supervisors...which means we have to go to the market square,' She thought, fishing around in her head for what day it was, 'Ah, looks like today is market day, great, just great, loads and loads of sweaty men, over priced items at lower prices and the many many thieves that worked that area.' She could not be bothered going, especially with the amount of money she was carrying. Turning to Oberon a sly grin came forth.

"I know Oby, why don't we split up for the last one. I'll take the extraction at the Knight's station here in Coreopsis, I know a few guys there and the guild said they're mostly on out side. You can pop down to the Market Square to talk to the supervising body there. They should give you this amount," She said, handing him a sheet of paper with a number on," its so we save on the time we've wasted so far and so I can keep the jewels we have collected away from the pickpockets. Okay? Right, see you back here!" Finishing in a hurry she shoved the paper into the grey jackets top pocket and hopped on off, almost cheerily skipping because she didn't have to hang around with the gloom king any more. With the Knight's station being near she was there in about ten minutes, looking at the large, square, brick building she wondered how she would go about it. A dark mage walking in would just be insane, and suspicious.

Oh shit she was pissed wasn't she? Oberon couldn't help but think as he took in the look that Tomoru had on her face at the moment. Oberon felt apprehensive slightly as he stood in front of her. What the hell was she so mad about? Sure maybe he was a little overaggressive at the bar but that still really wasn't much of a reason to go 'imma boil you alive' on him like some wild beast that escaped the zoo! And trust him, you know that look when you see it and the purple haired mage had it plastered all over her face right now. He couldn’t help but chuckle slightly as she asked if he had been giving anyone trouble, perhaps now wasn't exactly the best time to mention the fact that he had just taken out one of the security members as that would surely lead to a punch in the face from his pissed off partner who was glaring daggers. Oh well, haters gonna hate now won't they? He thought to himself as he looked on beyond her up the stairs to the mayor’s office. He growled gently as he fought his urge to bust into here guns blazing as he hated the government with a passion more undying and powerful then a man who wanted bacon for breakfast and that shit was serious without a doubt as no sane man in his right mind would let a good piece of bacon or any meat item for that matter go.

Oberon frowned as she mentioned how his mum would tuck him in. At first he just kind of stared with an almost 'seriously?' expression on his face. Oh god she really did not read his file or whatever master Vile had wanted him to sign, as she knew nothing about him. He smiled before feeling the irony and laughter inside of him start to take over as he started laughing hard enough to cause the secretary to look up from her paperwork nervously as if she were saying 'what the hell?' although to that he gave a quick growl that was slowly overcome by laughter again as the irony of this situation was just to much for him to take! He finally came to himself, "ahahah, awww man, that is rich; I killed my parents, they were douches who handed me over to the government.... and I wanted revenge" He said letting a mask of seriousness and bloodlust come over his face before it broke as he started laughing again, damn he was sure as hell glad that those two buffoons were dead. He cackled like Yangzami before the reality of their situation came back as he regained his composure and flattened his jacket and ran his hand through his hair as he looked back at Tomoru, mom tuck him in, ha! He smirked slightly at her attempt at breaking him with an insult, a funny insult to him but failing overall.

Oberon wiped a small tear off his eye, returning to his normal serious but cocky ass self. He finally noticed though that Tomoru had moved by now causing him too look around before seeing her start to walk out of the building, finally. He jogged a bit to catch up to her as he left the bad music building of justice and whatever crap that the government sold to them walkin back out into the criminal and tourist infested streets of Coreopsis, ahh good old Coreopsis. He took in a breath of fresh air, he love the smell of crime and evil in the morning. Oberon made his way down the stairs as he followed Tomoru along the crime and tourist filled streets of the floating city. The black winged demon frowned as he realized that he was in part of the city that he was not yet familiar with. When he thought about it harder he really hadn't been in any parts of the city besides the guild, the gondola station, and a bunch of other parts of the city during the guild war with Raven Tail. Damn, that was some crazy stuff that war. He actually surprised himself by joining Tartaros instead of Raven Tail like he had originally intended but upon further thought there really was little to no chance of him joining after he kicked that explosion mage's ass.

He gave a slight smile as he remembered, ahh, good times. He still had to contact Blitz as he remembered how he had saved Oberon's ass many a time. The black winged demon shook his head before focusing back on Tomoru and realizing that he was drifting slightly into the street as he was daydreaming, causing him to swear and jump back up onto the sidewalk and toss a slur of verbal abuse and racist your mom jokes at the driver of the lacrima car. Oberon put his hands back in his pocket as he followed the purple haired girl reluctantly. He could feel a small cold breeze ruffle by as he noticed a couple of hobos standing in an alleyway gathered around a trashcan fire. Oberon nodded to them in response getting them to nod back. The black winged demon felt slightly bad for the homeless as sometimes being true to yourself would lead one through hard times like those poor sods over there. He shook his head to get these thoughts of homelessness and sadness out of his head as he realized he'd was following Tomoru up onto a bridge! Oberon gulped as he looked down at the canal under them, remembering the flooding of the city back in the Dark Guild War. It was amazing how fast they had rebuilt but then again they had the council and all the other light mages to thank, and once again Tartaros was upon its rightful spot as king of the pitiful city.

Oberon's head snapped back up to Tommy when she started speaking again to him. so they were to split up to get the goods? He shrugged, he really had no qualms about it besides the fact that it meant going in solo into the busiest place in Coreopsis besides the guild and other pubic areas. Oberon was actually thankful that he wasn't going to see the knights as doing so might actually provoking him enough to use force against them to promptly drop kick them through a wall although it was highly unlikely that the black winged demon could do so, he had tried many times with Chihuahuas, rats with fur in his opinion. I mean seriously! They just go, 'yip yip yip!' over and over again! Oberon shook his head for probably the seventh or twelfth time that day as his mind was all over the place. The black haired boy replied with, "sure I don't see why not, just don't be late" he said as she passed him. He watched for a second as she made her way, skipping for some reason. Oberon frowned but felt his eyes land finally on her ass, he shivered at the thought of what he had just done before putting a finger in his mouth, "ugh, gag me with a spoon" he muttered to himself before walking off of the bridge and back to nice solid land getting rid of thoughts including his temporary partner and her ass.... although it was a nice ass... Oberon then promptly had a nosebleed as he walked on.

Oberon was well, not exactly the best when it came to directions as mentioned earlier. He had to ask almost several times which direction to go as he was rather new with the city himself and was by far more confused then a dog chasing its own tail which was both amusing to the person who saw it but also extremely annoying to the dog as well. Oberon kept on walking as he made his way in-between the tall buildings of Coreopsis. The black winged boy finally emerged out of the cluttered streets of his new home, he was now at the entrance to a large spacious area with vendors yelling at the top of their lungs trying to get the tourists and other peoples attention by calling out to them. Oberon raised an eyebrow as he felt rather sure that these men were overdoing everything just a bit, wasn't his place to judge though; he was above such line of work. Although his line of work involved finding another man who's line of work was to manage the people below him and their lines of works which really confused the black winged boy as he swore he saw birds flying around his eyes as he had obviously just confused himself. Oberon looked around after getting his thoughts up again and looking out for a man who might be in charge of all the vendors in the market.... easy right? I think NOT!

Thankfully she knew a few of these Knights. The ones that weren't so 'I'm in shining armour' were more than happy to spend a night or two with the dark mage, granted she had hidden her tattoo and given a fake name. Her persona, well she had made it up on the spot but it soon developed as each Knight had his turn. Coco Luret was her fake name, a girl who came from a normal background and now was looking for some excitement. Granted she had to explain the missing eye, though usually it was a story about her being in a crash or something. Tormoru had to change her image slightly though, letting her hair down and covering he missing eye slightly. Unbuttoning her shirt a bit more and hitching her skirt a bit higher she was ready to enter the knight's haunt which was only moments away from the station.

Opening the door it looked like only a few had been let off for the day. Scanning around she noticed that they were absorbed in their own conversations, some of them laughing and some probably talking about work. Sighing she needed to find someone she had once had relations with. Sauntering over to the bar she waved at he man behind it, her hands gloved as to not show any tattoo. He nodded back to her as if to welcome her and went to pour himself a drink. 'Now, who can I use' She thought menacingly, searching in the little groups for people she knew. "Not him, not him, not him either. Ah, Bingo, Private Maxwell Bains, quite good in the sack and not too bright either. Perfect tool for this." She mumbled to herself, quiet enough so no one heard. Readjusting her hair she put on her usual sweet smile and walked over to her prey.

"Hey Maxy," She called, causing his two companions to turn round,"I'm so glad I saw you here, may I join you." The guy seem slightly bewildered but after taking a swig of his drink and looking Tormoru up and down he seemed happy that a female was there. "Sure Coco, why don't you take a seat here," He laughed, tapping his lap like she was a dog. Winking at his friends they both had child like grins upon their face, as if they had a chance to join in one what Tormoru had planned. However she let go of it and sat on her acquaintances lap, wrapping her two arms around his neck. Soon after a bout of flirting it seemed Tormoru had successfully hooked Maxwell, causing them to display some uncomfortable PDA. As each other played a bit of tongue twisting the others played a bit of cards, ignoring and accepting that their companion had scored.

"Hey, I got an idea to spice things up Maxy" She whispered, "Why don't we go outside and I'll tell you when its more private?" Chuckling as she stood up the purple haired Coco lured the knight outside. Her idea was simple, get her tool and herself into the knight's station, preoccupy him and sneak off to meet with the supervisor of the post. It was easy, or so she hoped. Once outside with Mr. Bains she simply smiled and leant in close again. "I bet you never done that in a cell before eh, why don't we pretend I'm a prisoner and you have to, well lets say, punish me!" the dark mage suggested, holding her hands out for the man to clamp some shackles on. He only hesitated for a moment, since now he wasn't thinking with his brain the idiotic dog followed along with the roleplay his woman had hinted. As he tightened the shackles she simply caressed his face before kissing him. "Now, I'm a prisoner until we get to the empty cells...so make sure you convince your colleagues okay! If you don't I won't be complying to any order's later...General" His cheeks turned red as he became slightly embarrassed at Coco calling him above his rank.

Off they went then, him dragging her behind, having all the power and loving it. He got really into his role and Tormoru wondered what actually turned this guy. Sure they had a good night once but she imagined this kind of thing was more his style. Not simple, drunken fumbling. Smirking as her trojan horse was taken towards the large brick building she had only an inch of doubt with the success of her plan.

Oberon hated crowds, that was a little known fact about him. He hated them with a passion making it one of the reasons that he often stayed away from some of his guild mates and instead played the card of the friendly lone wolf. He growled when he thought that, he did not need friends! Friends were merely people who tried to earn your trust just so that they could use you! If thats what a friend was then he was pretty damn sure that he never wanted one despite reluctantly becoming on good terms with the blond haired Sinjin. Back to the matter at present though the black haired demon was not having an all to pleasant time as he made his way through into the loud and crowded marketplace two two things that he hated with a burning passion. Now he saw why his partner had sent him over here, it was to annoy him! he growled as by no she had almost ll but lost his just and faith in his partner who as it turned out now was just trying to get rid of him, oh he was going to have a few choice words and perhaps even a spell when he got back! He growled as he knew how he would not be able to leave until he had gotten the money from this stupid guy who was the big boss, Oberon growled again as he tried not to think about the storage and slightly pointy object poking into his side that he did not recognize.

The market was layed out into an almost circle, with a large stone fountain in the center of it and shops and vendors scattered around it. Oberon reached down to gab the piece of paper in his pocket before pulling it out, which was quite hard mind you as his elbow had jabbed into a woman who gave him a hard and cold stare before returning too her walk, whatever. The black winged demon looked at the paper and could see that the place he was looking for as northeast of the fountain, might as well go there first, he thought to himself. Oberon looked up over the heads of the crowd and could see the top of the fountain, a cherub with a bow andsmall wings with water pouring out of his mouth, how cheery. The black winged boy fought against the steady flow of people as he made his way over there getting a few swears and glares as he bumped into people here and there. What, it wasn't his fault that they were all hitting his wings! He winced as the black appendages pushed against the back of his gray jacket causing numerous cramps in them as well as his back as they begged to stretch instead of being confined all day to the confines of his jacket. Damn, he was considering it too really! But it would do him no good as there were far to many people here and they would all surely scream if they saw his black wings, what a shame.

Oberon sighed as he finally reached the fountain at the center of the market. It was actually quite impressive, not that he was really all that into architecture or that shit. There were numerous depictions of men clad in armor and spears as well as four clouds above them and one large sun on top which strangely reminded the black winged demon of his Tartaros tattoo on his chest. His curiosity was enough for him to ask a passerby what the statue meant only to get a slur of swears before the man kept on walking, cheery town that was for sure, he thought to himself before looking back at the fountain. The address scribbled on the back of the mission sheet said that the place he was looking for was north-east of the fountain. One small problem, there was NO WAY TO TELL WHICH WAY IT WAS FACING! He told himself in panic as the fountain itself as round and had sculptures built into it facing numerous directions as well as words that were some different form of language that the black winged boy did not know nor did he care to know as all he wanted was to find this place and get all of this over with so he could go home and grab a coke and watch a movie or something as he was rather reluctant to have to keep working with his backstabbing partner.

He raised an eyebrow as he noticed what looked like some kind of tourist passing by with a ...map! He grinned as a wicked idea formed inside the black stone brick of evil and death that was the working mind of Oberon. He grinned as he approached the man, acting slightly lost, "excuse me sir, can i see your map real quick I'm rather lost you see" Obeorn lied causing the man too look up from his map and give a slightly sad face at Oberon before passing the map over to him causing him to grin as the man had easily played right into his hands like play dough when one squeezed it, although this man was certainly not play dough as he was a man and thus could not be eaten nor squeezed; until Oberon and his spirits were stronger that is anyways. The black winged demon grinned as he looked down at the map, letting his eye wander a bit before he finally found the market. The cherub at the top was facing south meaning that he was in the southern area of the market, good to know. However there was the chance that the black winged demon might just need this map again causing him to sigh before handing the map back to the man who nodded and took it before Oberon tripped him causing him to slip and fall, hitting his head on the concrete side of the fountain.

Acting as if nothing had happened the black winged boy grabbed the map while he tilted the hat on the mans head so that it looked like he was sleeping and was propped up against the fountain. People these days were just to stupid to tell the difference anyways! He nodded in agreement with himself before folding the map in half and tucking it in his pocket and heading what he now knew was north before heading east. He knew he was in the right neighborhood as the stalls here were slightly bigger then the others as they looked much more, well, official and impressive compared to the temporary and shabby looking ones in the rest of the market. Oberon wandered around a little bit until finally he found himself standing in front of a concrete building that was cemented into the ground and had a large plaque on it saying 'market officials' could that be? NAH! He thought to himself shaking his head before he looked at the other buildings around, there was 'market security' that was an immediate N.O as he looked around, what else was there? Nothing! He sighed before walking into the building that said 'market officials' and leaving the crowded noisy area behind him as he found himself standing in what was without at doubt the place he was looking for...only everyone was on the floor and there were some guys in skis mask holding swords and looking at the black winged demon...
