Mission The cafe Tormoru sat out was quaint. With a good steady flow of customers the dark mage had been there for a couple of hours now, seeing people come and go with their worldly troubles. She used her index finger and thumb to pick up the china cup her tea was kept in. Granted she wasn't much of a tea party girl but her day looked to be quite a hefty chore. Sipping the flavoured tea she took to enjoying it, unbelievably she was being lady like. Chuckling at herself she placed the tea cup down with a small chime. Thinking back to her time at the guild she smirked. The request hadn't really been clipped onto the mission board but more requested by mouth. It was that time again for the Tartaros guild to go get what they were owed which meant someone needed to go out there and demand any outstanding protection money. Tormoru wanted to take the mission with Sion, yet he was off somewhere being all fancy. So instead she decided to do it solo, which meant more rewards for her, and more fun. Hopefully she could make someone squirm, make someone bleed and plead for their life. However she had heard most of the old businesses pay up on the first request. She was hoping for some rebels, it would mean her name would circulate out in rumours, her wrath spread throughout the town and for people to fear and respect her. With a manic smile while drinking tea the young woman would seem crazy, which wouldn't be far off the mark. Uncrossing her legs she finished the tea and turned to reach for her stuff. She hadn't taken her whole arsenal out with her, only bringing one of her envy's with her and Beauty and Beast. She left the rest at the guild to pick up when she dropped of the money. She had kept both the sets of weapons in a satchel like bag not to frighten anyone in public. She was mean but she couldn't be bothered with the hassle. Standing up the purple haired mage picked her bag up and headed into the cafe. Thankfully it wasn't that busy inside, and with no queue she could waltz up to the counter with ease. "Hey, are you the owner," The young woman asked, staring at the person behind the counter with her one eye, "cus' I got to talk to the owner, you see he has something to give me, so are you the owner?" Tormoru made sure to show off her Tartaros tattoo on her hand. This was the first stop on the collection map and she was definitely going to get the guild's money, and a free slice of cake if she could. Edited by Nevarus, Nov 22 2011, 10:30 PM.

Oberon was not in a happy mood, he never really was now that he thought about it. He wasn't mad at anyone in particular, he was just kind of mad at everything happening around him at the moment which was honestly quite understandable the way his life has been going lately, and that was down hill fast. He growled as he held the paper that the guild master had given him, so he was to be their lap dog eh? No matter, before they knew it he would become the best mage in the guild and crush everyone who opposed him into the dust! But for now he was stuck having to work together with some girl that he had never met before in his entire life. This was pointless, he thought as he glared at the people he passed by, if they really needed stuff to get done they should have simply sent him on a different mission instead of simply being backup to someone who already had a head start on him, yeah! Apparently she had no idea that he was coming nor did he feel that she honestly care for the fact except that she was doing a mission right now. No worries right? Well either way this day was starting to turn more bank by the second and lord know how much he wanted to drop kick his guild mates in the face for teasing him of his black feathery wings. There was another subject that he was still slightly nervous on, his wings caused quite a commotion when he had entered the guild for the first time; however the stronger members seemed not as interested in them as they were most likely to busy getting drunk and starting a guild fight. Oh well, he would just add them to his list like the others and slit their throats in their sleep, after all, all is fair in love and war. Although this wasn't exactly war it wasn't exactly love by what he was feeling either really as so far he ahd merely been treated inhospitably as normal. No matter, they would all be bowing at his feet when he became the strongest mage in all of Fiore after all. Oberon Led Zepplin wearily looked back down at the flier to see what exactly it was that these bozo's wanted of him exactly. Money collection eh? Not exactly something he wanted to do or even liked for that matter but it would still be interesting eh? "Right you are kid" Yangzami said into the black winged demons mind. Oh god and after these three spirits had shut up with their annoying margin in his head for most of the day. Why did this shit have to happen to him? Whatever, all he could do for now was simply just endure whatever it was they both had to say, after all the more the merrier and the merrier the drunker and the drunker meant it was easier to kill them in their sleep. Oberon saw again on the map hastily scribbled on the back of the mission sheet, he really was going to have to do this. Oh well, at least if they struggled to much he could beat them around a little bit. Finally though he found himself looking at the entrance of the building up ahead, "hold up kid; try going around back" Yang said into the mind of the black haired demon boy who was getting slightly annoyed with the talking of the two spirits, "one spirit if you count me and the other one" Oberon couldn't really argue with that although shuddered when Yinzami his second spirit mentioned that buffon of a metal spirit. Thank god that he wasn't awake; but it was true if the man did try to make a break for it when he saw him he would most likely go out the back. But unfortunately the lady of luck continued to frown upon him as he walked in through the front door. Who the hell was this? He could spot one of the flares as she reached out to show what could be her tattoo. He sniffed, the food smelled good but now was not the time to be gawking over food, this was a mage alright most likely the first mage sent out here. Oberon was conflicted somewhat on what he should do next; she obviously seemed under control at the moment but he did not want to accidentally make her think that he was an assassin or some shit. In the end, Oberon just picked up a cafe menu and tried to look in place with his gray and red jacket on. If the guy made a break for the front he could easily grab him as he was right next to the door. It might be better to see how it played out though instead of running in. |

The mousy looking server widened her eyes in fear. "Uh-Uh, I'l-I'll for get him for you now!" She almost squealed, putting the cup of tea she was in the middle of making down. The little woman hurried off into the back and soon footsteps could be heard on the stairs. A few muffled conversations followed and it was a good few minutes before Tormoru was graced with the waitress's company again. "H-H-He'll see you now, just go u-upstairs," She stuttered, causing the dark mage to role her eyes and think 'bumbling baboon, she needs to get some balls'. Slipping into the back the purple haired woman delved her hand into the bag that was hanging from her shoulder. Taking from it one her coveted guns she placed her finger on the trigger. It was great, feeling such power in a small weapon. At the top of the stairs was a small wooden landing with two doors leading off from it. One made an entrance to what looked like a small wash room. The other must have been the owner's office. Walking hesitantly towards the nearest room she nudged the door open with her foot and quickly glanced inside. From her point of view she could not see anyone, yet the office did continue out of her sight. Gently stepping in she swung round with gun held posed ready to shoot any weapon wielding shop owner. To her surprise, or really what she should have suspected was that there was no one in the office. A series of scuffling sounds alerted Tormoru to the escaping man. Swiftly she was on the landing again and caught sight of her prey. With him half way down the stairs she aimed and fired her gun quickly. The bullet soared past the man's shoulder, sadly he'd avoided it by falling. The noise would cause panic downstairs but thankfully what she was after was moaning at the bottom of the stairs. Aiming the gun at him again she addressed the slippery bastard. "I can advise you that you shouldn't try to run again, I don't miss twice. Now, I've only come here for what you owe our guild. It's not like its many jewels but if you want us to protect you again then hand it over," She said, speaking in a calm tone. "I won't give any money to you dark mages. My father may have but-" He started only to be silenced by the sound of the gun firing again, this time up into the roof. "I don't care what your morals are, we've protected you for another few months, which means we need the money. Take your problems up with my guild master but don't talk shit to me okay! Now if you don't want to pay with your life, get me the jewels!" Tormoru barked, her irritation at such a proud and judgemental man was clear. It seemed the harsher tone had caused the man to reconsider his principles on this matter. Sniffing up his pathetic tears he hobbled upstairs and back into the office, the dark mages gun pointing at him each and every step he took. 'It seems he can't handle the finer details of business,' she thought as they entered the room. It took a few moments for her to get what she wanted, a nice sack of jewels. Soon it was in her hand and she began counting. The exact amount was sitting at the bottom of the tatty rag, which told the young woman this owner had been contemplating his stand for a while. Smirking she whipped her gun round and held onto the muzzle. Striking the uncooperative shop owner on the face he cried out and fell onto the desk, "Next time give it to us straight away, oh and I'll have to take some cake for compensation, I wasted two good bullets on a piece of crap like you," Tormoru venomously spat, walking away in he usual style. Entering a now empty cafe she simply told the server she should give her boss an ice pack, giving her the story of he fell as an explanation. As the twerp hurried up the creaking wood the dark mage walked behind the counter, taking a slice of lemon cheesecake to go. Hopefully the rest of the towns people would be more fun that this. |

Oberon tried to look inconspicuous as he stood at the table reading the menu of the cafe he was in. He frowned, there was absolutely nothing good on here at all! It was all just shoddy breakfast food, how nice; he hated breakfast food with a passion and often went out of his way to destroy as much as he could. It was sensible, food eaten in the morning was more often just to appease you instead of filling you up with something good to eat. The black winged demon shook his head in his jacket as he looked down at the menu with his wavering eyes. He glanced at the entrance of the stairs where the two people had walked up leaving him alone by himself standing at the entrance of the establishment and like a regular person just waiting for life to throw an obstacle at him. Well it certainly didn't take long now did it? A waiter came up, a woman of average stature enough but she seemed shaky and was glancing at the stairs heading upwards to god knows where. Oberon shrugged, after all he had more important things to do then interfere with what was going on, despite it being a mission. The other mage obviously had everything under control and seemed to be doing her job fine, he had spotted the firearm with her, if he was lucky things might get a tad more interesting for them. The waiter finally shook her head before looking back at the black winged demon and promptly asking what it was that he wanted to eat for the day. Oberon thought, he really wasn't going to be staying that long and shrugged, this person was a liability to him really and one that should be dealt with in the most destructive of manners, but for now his patience endured. He felt his eye waver around the other cafe patrons, rich fools, he should burn this place to the ground if he wanted to! He sighed before looking back at the waiter who was slightly annoyed by a lack of response, the black winged demon shook his head before replying, "nothing, i'm not that hungry" he said before putting the menu back on the table as a shot was heard coming from the direction of the stairs. "And there goes the neighborhood" Yangzami the flame demon said into the mind of of the black winged demon who shrugged and was slightly happy that something was happening, he was quickly becoming bored of simply standing around all day and playing twenty questions with the waiter who was becoming even more annoying by the second. He could hear footsteps coming from the direction of the stairs. The other patrons looked as well slightly alarmed with a few getting up and quickly walking towards the door, brushing past the winged demon. Apparently this kind of thing wasn't exactly strange now as it? The rest sighed and looked kind of defeated before quickly following suit and leaving the building before the waiter quickly walked away instead of talking to the black winged demon again, about damn time! He couldn't help but scoff as the woman ordered cake before promptly walking behind the counter and grabbing a slice herself! Not bad, he ahd to admit; he could roll with that, if you wanted something, just freaking take it instead of beating around the bush on how you should get it, it just waists to much damn time and is a bother to all. Oberon coughed, he better make his presence known instead of standing near the entrance like a creeper, and trust the boy and he says he has done such a thing before at the Akane Resort. He walked forward as his black sneakers happen on the floor as he approached the counter, "well that was easy, people around here have no real spine" he said looking over at the stairs where there was a moaning followed by some quick and panicked words, he looked back at the woman on the other side of the counter, "i'm Oberon by the way, the guild sent me to go with you for money collection this month" he said not bothering to shake hands, these days witht else people one could never tell how you would greeted by a handshake, a simple and straightforward handshake or a shank in the arm. He looked back to the purple haired woman on the other side of the counter. He raised an eyebrow when he saw how the woman had no eye, interesting, he would ask about it later but now was most likely not the time to worry about this as she was busy eating her cake. She had a long purple pony tail and had a firearm at her side, Oberon kept his hands in fists in case he for some reason would need to quickly shift into one of his forms. |

The cheesecake was delicious. She may have just frightened the owner of the establishment to death but she could still appreciate the excellency the cake presented. Smirking to herself as a piece nearly fell from her hand she hadn't yet noticed the new person that had been added into the equation. A scuffle of his black trainers and his need to speak gained the purple haired mage's attention and as if by instinct the cake was thrown and gun was drawn. That was, until he introduced himself. He was sent here by the guild to assist...ASSIST! "Show me your tattoo then, I got mine!" She barked, irritation stirring in her mind as her own guild tattoo was held up. 'How dare they think me so incompetent they send some kind of babysitter. I better not have to share the glory, I wanted this mission, I was here first and I'd rather die before letting some imbecile take over my mission.' Her thoughts were filled with anger and with her still pointing the pistol at her new partner she was very tempted to pull the trigger. However she stopped herself, calming down slightly to think a bit more clearer. It couldn't hurt to have a lackey to order around. "Alright, after I confirm you're in Tartaros I will let you come with me, but you do as I say so you won't get in my way. I want to do this efficiently and won't be happy if someone like you gets in the way of me doing a job." She now calmly put, taking a risk by lowering her gun. She wasn't in the mood to babysit any new guild member, nor did she want to be babysat. Tormoru wasn't joking, if he made her mess up there would be lead in his empty head. Walking towards the exit she simply turned and glared. "My name's Tormoru, now lets get going, we've spent too much time here anyway, stupid coward upstairs tried to run from me...no one escapes from me!" Exiting the cafe the dark mage saw a few people staring. Noticing that they were the driven away customers she simply tapped tapped firearm at her side. A small whimper came from one woman, while the men hid behind their newspaper. 'Pathetic, look at these losers.' Tormoru thought as she headed to the Tavern next on her list. It wasn't far away, about a five minute walk down a few back streets. Apparently Tartaros made sure it wasn't noticed by the police force with its iffy goings on. So now they had to pay their monthly fee, however the purple haired young woman wondered if this stop on the money express would be a bit easier than firing her gun, she didn't like wasting bullets. |

Oberon growled when the lady barked that he show her his guild tattoo, jesus what has her panties in a knot? He thought to himself glaring at the woman, this however seemed to be a bad idea as she had a pistol in her right hand aimed at him, he swore that she might actually pull the trigger on him after revealing he was on her side although considering how he was in fact a member of the guild this seemed slightly less likely to him, pawns need to look out for each other. Besides, it is very hard to manipulate someone who more often then not is manipulating the people around them. Still he did not like being ordered around like some mongrel dog who had just walked in off of the streets, then again as long as he was here he might as well just show the wretch his tattoo so that they could get this mission going. Oberon was a very impatient person after all, it was in his nature! He glanced at the pistol she had, then her breasts, and then finally back up at her before considering his options, not showing his tattoo would most likely get himself shot but then again, showing meant that e would most likely become her lackey of sorts by the way she put her having to baby sit him. He growled once more, if she kept that attitude up then she would quickly find herself on his list of people he was going to kill, right next to Reyo. Oberon growled before un-zipping his gray jacket and putting down his hood to show his black hair. He unbuttoned the top of his long-sleeve shirt and pulled down the left side to show his black guild tattoo which was placed right over his heart causing it to move slightly as he breathed in and out. It was really just a random spot that he picked, there was no special reason he put it there besides the reason that he damn felt like it! He growled before butting his shirt up again as well as his jacket before looking back to her, "There you happy?" he said with a slight sarcastic tone in his voice. If she screwed this mission up for him then he was going to have to put an arrow of light through her head, which would then hopefully explode inside of her getting red blood everywhere. What? He liked the color red! He shrugged when she talked about no one escaping from her. God he didn't want them to escape! If he ahd the choice between them running like cowards or facing the two of them then he would gladly take their life without thought, he could use a good workout. He grinned, showing of his jagged whtie teeth, they were getting sharper as he increased in strength, soon they might even be as sharp as Yhama's! Although there was still a huge gap in terms of strength between him and that Yato woman, still he would gladly fight the government with the guild anyway. Master Vile though seemed slightly against it despite being the boss of the most powerful dark guild in Fiore along with Grimore Heart, Grimore would have been his second option, but he wasn't all about looking for any ultimate source of power, hell no! The ultimate source of power was him! He would crush them and everyone else one day! "Don't worry, i want them to run; it would give me an excuse to paint the floor with their blood" he said as he walked next to the purple haired girl. Tomoru eh? That was a weird name but then again people these days were weird people! There was not much arguing in that statement as he walked onwards in-between the alleys of the floating city of Coreopsis which seemed to be rather shady despite being such a popular tourist spot, whatever the fools were stupid for forgetting that they were merely guests in the dark guild that could crush Blue Peguasus if it wanted to! |

Tormoru had to admit, the man revealing his chest to her was attractive, but she had to stay professional. That was part of why she exited the building so quickly, as to not let this Oberon guy see her blush. As she walked on down the street she glanced behind her, yes he was following her, which was okay she supposed. It would make the mission go quicker and reduce the risk she missed someone, even though she could easily trap the weakling business owners with a flick of wrist. Wait, what was she doing, thinking up excuses to keep him around. This dry spell of men must have been clouding her mind, he had horrible jagged teeth. Shivering at the over imagined dagger like teeth she knew she was getting desperate. Shaking her head she tried to remove any thought of Oberon from her head that wasn't of annoyance or torture. Thinking back to his comment however reminded her of Sion. This guy talked kind of like him, or more like his alter ego. Painting the floor with their blood, what a waste of time. Even if he wasn't being literal, which she wasn't sure whether or not he was, killing the customers would be stupid. Rather hurting and threatening them would yield the most money, and coerce them to do more business with them. Turning on her heel she soon came face to face with the tavern in question. The large cream building with thatched roof reminded her of the traditional and all too common taverns across Fiore. Scoffing at it she took a note to visit a different time to sample the beer. It's door was thick wood with the iron bands across top and bottom keeping it on its hinges. After all it needed to be able to withstand bar fights and angry locals. The windows were small, probably less glass to be smashed or something, and with each divided into six smaller panes it was hard to look inside. That and the place was probably full to the brim with fat, drunken perverts. The people outside however weren't much better. In the middle of the day a scantily dressed whore was walking up and down the side looking for a punter, finding one in a semi-lucid tanned skin fellow who shouted his slurred words at her. If Tormoru was that girl, not that she ever would be, she would have run her sword through him before he had the chance to whip out his special sword. Grinning at the thought she walked past the group of smokers who were a few metres away from the entrance. Turning to her new partner she smiled. "Oby, you wanna handle this one or you want me to. I suppose I can share the mission with you, just don't mess it up. I don't think killing anyone is the way to go, just rough them up if they don't give you the money. So what do you think, go collect our money!" She asked, seeming quite sincere. Really, she was. She had gotten over the fact that he was here and supposed why not split the workload. Walking through the door she didn't really mind his answer. Instead she swayed in, catching the eye of a few of the patrons of the establishment. Granted they were disgusting but she accepted the attention and took a free stool at the bar. Turning back to Oberon she inclined her head towards the barman, indicating for him to ask about the money, or at least about the owner. Ready to pull her gun out or use her magic the purple haired woman sat there just as Oberon had sat at the cafe. |

Oberon raised an eyebrow when he realized that she walked out rather quickly as he unbuttoned his shirt. Whatever, love wasn't something he was really all that interested at the moment, he may be evil but even he still had a feelings; or as he called them, stirrings. The stirrings caused his chest to beat slightly but he swallowed these feelings as he went back into the preferred comfort zone and mindset that his mind was more often then not living in, and that was the blood lustful and power hungry demon boy. Ha! the look on her face if she saw his wings! Aww, he had to admit, the black feathered wings were great when it came to surprising his foes although outside of combat they could be quite useless besides scaring people. He didn't mind really, his wings were like his arms he couldn't think of life without them, after all they were very important to him as they were the reason that he went dark in the first place! Well it may not have been the only reason but it was most certainly one of the biggest reasons as it was his wings that had caused him to be abducted at a young age by the government, he growled s his memories of their testing left a dark impression on him for sure as he thought about how painful life would be if he were a prissy light mage following orders blindly. Oberon looked up as he heard talking and music up ahead in the direction that they were walking. A bar, really it was the kind of place that he saw coming a mile away at him saying 'yeah this is dark mage territory' by just looking at the tavern itself, how cliche. He snickered as he remembered how he had burned down the tavern in Oak Town with Sinjin, ahh good times those were, good times indeed. He grinned, showing his pointed teeth; he frowned before feeling them with his finger. Damn, they were getting to sharp, at least they looked normal, just the tops were pointed a bit. Whatever, its not like he was going to run around biting chunks out of people! He shivered as he already knew a few people who actually might do just that. He pondered briefly on how Hyphen was doing, he hadn't spoken with him for some time after their adventure at Galuna Island, he was probably being digested by some savage or some messed up stuff. Its not like they were friends anyways, more along the lines of...acquaintances one should say instead of assuming they were friends. He was snapped out of his thoughts though by Tomoru who told him it was his turn to give this all a go. He grinned, although whether it was in excitement or anger at her for giving him such a ridiculous nickname it was unclear to anyone besides him and the spirits living inside of him. Oberon followed the purple haired mage inside and sat on the barstool next to her catching the glimpses of a few men who seemed not all that interested in their arrival, hell they were more interested in their beer then anything else most likely! Oberon lowered his hood and flagged down the bartender who was busy cleaning glass's that were used. He gave an innocent grin as he walked over to the two, or more to the black winged demon as he was the one who flagged him down. "How can i help you sir?" he asked before grabbing one of the empty glasses on the counter of the bar. "I am looking for the owner i wanted to compliment him on his ale which i drank earlier" Oberon said. He had a feeling it was this guy but still he just wanted to be sure, and in most cases flattery was the way to get people's attention as well as get into their minds easily. The man nodded and smiled, "Thank Yo-" The bartender was cut off though by the black winged demon suddenly grabbing him by the solar and dragging him over the counter so that he was talking into his ear, causing a few looks from the patrons, "The ale tastes like shit and i'm here to collect payment for Tartaros" Oberon whispered clutching the mans collar tightly, this could go the easy way or the hard way. |

Whoever Oberon was he seem very immersed in himself, well, Tormoru didn't care, she'd just like him to notice her a-. She cut the thought short again. What was with her today, she was all over the place. Blinking furiously a couple of times the thoughts escaped her andshe settled back to the meeting at hand. The ale Oberon had ordered caused Tormoru to frown. Of all people, she probably enjoyed alcohol the best, yet to drink on a job when not necessary was stupid, it hindered your senses and made you, more aggressive in most cases. Sighing she rested her head on her palms and looked around. Inside was more of a tip than outside, it was definitely obvious that the dark mages not in Tartaros gathered here, yet she did recognise a few people from the guild. 'Damn layabouts, we're out here collecting money from their local...what a waste of time' She thought, her eyes following the short skirted servers that wandered around. Her mind must have been failing, even contemplating those disease riddled girls meant she should have gone for a mental exam. Sighing once more she closer her eye and rested her head again. The din of the drunken songs and laughing was getting to her. Today was a mix of feelings, which was weird for Tormoru. Stuffing the irritated, aroused, fed up etc. feelings to the back of her head she began to wonder when Oby would make his move. Soon the time came, with a simple facade of wanting to compliment the owner's ale her partner in this mission had flushed the man out...well pointed him out really. Ready to watch a rational discussion on money owed she was shocked to find Oberon had quite a different approach. Grabbing the man and pulling him over the counter, subsequently knocking glasses off, encountered a few problems. The most concerning one was the fact that the locals had now shut up, noticing the threat to their favourite pub and fuelled with ale they were chomping at the bit to rip Oberon up. 'Even if he can take care of himself it'll be better for him to focus on the money extraction,' She though, immediately taking action to counteract the encroaching crowd. Dashing from her stool caused it to fall, she didn't care, it wasn't particularly comfy. Whipping out her weapons, in a whirlwind of hands, Tormoru scanned her gun's muzzle at the mob. That and the clean, slim and effective Beauty blade she held ready in her other hand caused the crowd to hesitate. "Everyone sit down and shut up before I blow your brains out!," She shouted, aiming at the closest men, "Go on, I have enough ammo to kill all of you, and I don't miss." She was lying of course, only eight bullets left for about twenty people. But bluffs were just that, lies, and she was good at them. However if they did attack she had her blade, which could cut the vital points of the scum that dared try to hurt her. Some of the mob crept ever so slightly forward, only to return when the muzzle was in front of them. "Now my co-worker is going to have a little chat with your local barman, if that's okay. If you do anything to me or him you will have Tartaros to answer to!" She spoke, noticing as she presented the guild tattoo the other members hurriedly escaped. Smirking she looked at the fifteen drunks and whores that were left. "Now Oberon why don't yo-" She started, only to be cut off by an attacker. 'How dare he oppose me!' She violently thought. As the fat man went to bowl her over the dark mage frowned in anger. "Court's Chase." She murmured, giving rise to a purple magic seal. The air around her buzzed with magic, distorting into waves. As she was lifted up like a supernatural ghost she disappeared from the attackers path. Reappearing behind him she did not wait for her feet to touch the floor. Swirling round she swept her blade across his back, causing him to fall in pain. With a two foot, clean slice of meat he started to wail. His friends would have helped if there wasn't a gun pointed at them. "That's what happens when you don't listen, anyone else?" She asked rhetorically, pointing at the pile of blubber, blubbering on the floor. Thankfully none others attempted another attack. Leaving Oberon to do his part of the job. |

Oberon grinned as he heard the bar's patrons stand up seeing their favorite barman being treated so roughly by him. He didn't care he could take them all on if need be really. Quite honestly he was considering just blasting one of his attacks at the patrons but if he did that then he might just accidentally lose his grip on the bartender in his clutches right now and we all know that if he ran, which he would most likely do, then Oberon was going to have to chase...and take down, the man if he didn't give him what the guild wanted, and that was the money that they owed them and something extra because he felt like it. He might have been a bully but it was for a different amount of reasons, he could never bully people he knew well, they would simply shrug it off or just get in a bar fight with him, which really he didn't mind all that much when he thought about it. He grinned as he could hear the man's breathing get slightly raspy and nervous as it breathed out of tempo and out of sync, good, he would be damned if he couldn't scare this guy at least just a bit now could he? He smiled thinking to himself as he could hear the murmurs of the bar patrons behind him. He would really love to make this guy have a heart attack from pissing his pants or something but he and Tomoru were both busy people. "Now then why don't you tell me where the protection money is? If you don't then i'm afraid we will have to use some.....persuasion, to get it out of you, one way or another" Oberon said listening in as Tomoru yelled out over the patrons of the bar about how she would blow their brains out if they tried to go against them, he groaned as he looked back for a moment at the group of men who were moving a bit farther forwards it seemed as she threatened them all with her gun. He chuckled, it was pretty damn obvious that she was bluffing, there were plenty of people in here and he had heard her fire two shots back in the bakery, how long did she think she could fool them though? Oberon opened his mouth to speak once again but stopped and could hear one of the patrons make a move to try and attack! black winged boy who was holding onto the barman who was undoubtedly the owner was to occupied to take care of the man and much to his luck was saved by Tommy who had easily dispatched the man by teleporting and making a quick slice at him sending him to fall onto the ground. Oberon nodded at her, momentarily having his eyes stuck on her before looking back at the nervous barman. Oberon growled showing off his white and pointed tipped teeth to the scared man, ohh this was going to be fun. He glared at him before looking beyond him at the bottles behind him, "get me the money now or me an my partner here will have to start making compensation for your payments....which is fancy talk or some shit for, give us th money or we trash the place....and everyone in it" Oberon said although if he in fact did trash the place then they would have the law to worry about but they weren't anything he couldn't handle. The bartender was sweating as the black winged boy could feel it on his collar, "o-okay just don't destroy my tavern, i've owned since i was a young man" he said before reaching under the counter and opening what should be a drawer after hastily scrambling for a key and inserting it. The bartender reached inside and grabbed the box of money inside before placing it on the bar-table next to Oberon. The black winged boy nodded towards the box signaling for Tomoru to get it in case the man was lying and there was nothing inside. He could feel the tension in the air, the patrons were just waiting to go all out on the two of them, he wanted them to really. He wanted these old sods to fight him so that he could end their life oh so much sooner. Inside of the box would be the money that was Tartaro's by protection and the money that was theirs. although if they payed attention they would see the circle of men tightening as the momentum of the situation seemed to start to stop a bit. |
