Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Mutated Individuals Starting Trouble

3010 A.D. England, Royal Free Hospital 9:00pm

The sky started to glow an orange-pinkish color as the sun began to set on the city. It was amazing how clear the sky was, thanks to all the technical advances eliminating pollution and eradicating global warming. Several birds flew against the twilight and past several large skyscrapers. All was peaceful and quiet, expect for the nearby hospital that echoed with cries of pain as a woman began to give birth to her fourth child.

Several doctors and nurses rushed passed each other in order to comfort the woman. Her screams of pain soon turned into sighs of relief as the baby was finally removed. The main doctor, Doctor McKain, smiled behind his mask as he let the mother hold the new baby boy. Looking up at his mother the baby cooed with joy, watching his mother stare peacefully into his eyes. Suddenly a large machine was pushed into the room and the mother’s face turned into a solemn frown.

“I’m sorry Mrs. Maloney but it’s protocol,” Dr. McKain spoke softly as he began to reach for the baby. Mrs. Maloney simply nodded her head and handed the child over. “Even after four children it never gets easier,” Mrs. Maloney thought to herself. She watched quietly as the baby was placed into the machine and the scanning process began. Closing her eyes, Mrs. Maloney began to count backwards from ten. After she had passed one, she slowly opened her eyes to gaze upon the result screen. What began as sobs soon escalated into full-blown panic with several nurses trying to calm her down to no avail.

Soon Mrs. Maloney’s cries could be heard out in the waiting room, where Mr. Maloney sat waiting for news about the new baby. Hearing his wife’s screams Mr. Maloney quickly made his way into the room, pushing past doctors and nurses alike. “What’s wrong?! What happened?!” Mr. Maloney asked as he knelt down besides his wife, frantically searching for answers but only receiving screams. He began to search the room for what ever made his wife so hysteric when his eyes suddenly fell upon the result screen.

The sound of clicking keyboards filled the small dim-lit room where a single man sat, his face a little too close to the glowing computer screen. His shoulder length hair, which had recently been dyed purple, laid tied back into a neat ponytail. Normally his hair would have been spiked into a large Mohawk but today he just felt lazy. The blue band t-shirt, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, that he wore was torn and ripped in several places including the sleeves having been removed. His black pants were much to large for him and fell over his brown boots, hiding them from view. Suddenly his green eyes widened as he noticed something on the screen in front of him.

Scrambling from the large black swivel chair he sat at he quickly made his way over to a small intercom type device. Pushing the small red button on the bottom of the machine, he spoke quickly into the microphone, his deep western accent coming through the other end. “Boss we got another one,” he spoke rather quickly. “Where’s it located S.I.N?” the man on the other end asked. “Uh,” S.I.N spoke as he glanced back at the screen, “North Central London, Hampstead and it’s at the Royal Free Hospital.” “Right I’ll get someone right over there,” the other man spoke somewhat softly.

Pushing a button on the intercom, the man spoke into the receiver once again but this time someone else spoke on the other end. “Yes cap’ what you need?” the other person’s voice asked, his slight British accent making it’s way through. “Specter I need you to take Tank and Failsafe to the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead. It appears another one has shown up there.” Specter simply grunted his acceptance and hung up the receiver. Turning around to the people behind him, his short, curly brown hair bouncing slightly on his head, Specter gave off a big goofy smile. His brown eyes seemed to be filled with excitement. “Looks like we got something to do,” he spoke, his voice filled with happiness.

“Finally! I don’t like sitting here all day,” the woman of the two spoke, her blonde hair falling over her soft face and her light blue eyes glowing intensely. “Nor do I Failsafe, nor do I,” Specter said as he straightened his pinstripe suit. A large man suddenly stepped out of the shadows and grinned, his camo shirt fitting tightly around his body and his jean shorts stopping short of his knees. “Are you ready Tank?” Failsafe asked as he fixed the strap on her purple dress. “Sure am!” Tank answered pumping his fist into the air. “Well then,” Specter stated as he placed his hands on the shoulders of his companions, “let us go.” As he spoke this, the three suddenly vanished.

3010 A.D. England, Royal Free Hospital 9:03 PM

The three of them appeared in the hallway of the Royal Free Hospital, directly in front of the room in which the newborn baby stayed. Tank grinned at Specter as he made his way inside the room. Dr. McKain looked up from a nearby phone, it was apparent that he had called someone earlier. “Who are you and what are you doing in here?” Dr. McKain demanded of the newly arrived trio. “Oh us,” Tank stated as he looked at the doctor, “well I’m Tank, the guy in the suit is Specter and the girl is Failsafe and we’re here for the baby. Before the doctor could respond, a large hammer type weapon connected with Specter’s head, smashing it against the wall and instantly killed him. Every nurse and doctor in the room, including the parents of the baby, began to panic with almost everyone leaving the area except for the mother and father and their newly born son.

Both Tank and Failsafe stared at their friend’s lifeless body before turning to see the attacker. A man stood there smiling, holding a large mallet type object. Before the two had time to express their grief over their friend’s death, the man was on the move again, quickly going after Failsafe. Lucky she was able to create a barrier in front of her that blocked the incoming swing of the hammer. Frowning the man turned his attention towards Tank who growled back in response. Slowly the hammer began to click and whirl before transforming into some sort of cannon, which fit neatly on the man’s arm.

As Failsafe noticed that the man had turned his attention towards Tank, she directed her attention at the baby‘s parents. “We need to get your child out of here. That man is after him,” she said speaking quickly. The father sort of just stood there, looking at his child for a while before handing him over. “Just keep him safe,” Mr. Maloney said as Failsafe exited the room. She was able to look back just in time to see Tank increase his muscle mass and the man push two buttons on the cannon which seemed to load the device. Pointing it at Tank, the man smiled slyly as the cannon fired, impaling Tank in the face with several small dart-like objects.

Mutated Individuals Starting Trouble

3010 A.D. Vermont 9:00 AM

A fist came smashing down upon a table that sat in the middle of a large room. “How the fuck could theya killed Tank!? I mean, ya couldn’ even scratch the guy an yet they somehow killed the guy! How the fuck does that work!?” shouted the angry man, his bright medium red hair seemed to glow brighter with his anger. His odd orange eyes stared intensely at the others gathered around the table. It seemed that they were all at some sort of meeting. The room was large and the table easily seated ten but there only seemed to be four there at the moment. A single light fixture that hung over the table filled the room with light and it seemed that the cooler was on high. This room held only a single door leading to a flight of stairs.

“Crash I understand that you’re upset but you need to calm down,” a rather muscular man spoke. He looked to be only about 24, but he carried himself with a grace that showed intelligence and experience well past his age. The eye patch that he wore over his left eye held an insignia that showed he was the leader of the clan. His blonde hair was cut short and combed neatly back. His one good eye was a bright emerald color that seemed to stare down deep into Crash’s soul. “Sorry Capt‘n,” Crash said as he removed his hand from the table, a burning indention now present where his hand once was. Crash then moved uncomfortably within his seat, moving his bright red overcoat back underneath his legs. His orange overalls seemed to move around on their own.

“You need to stop getting so worked up,” another boy spoke. His face and his body were both extremely thin. The boy’s chin was long and pointed and his cheek bones jutted out somewhat further than they should. The green long sleeved shirt and tight blue jeans that he wore seemed to outline the thinness of his body. Crash now focused his attention on the boy. “How ‘bout fuck you Mantis? Does that work for ya? Why don’ cha start showin’ some emotion? We just had two people die an ur tellin’ me I need ta stop gettin’ pissed. Ya raven fuckin‘ son of a bitch.”

Suddenly a hand was placed on Crash’s shoulder. Looking up at the person who had done so, Crash’s mouth formed into a small smile. “Hey Zap, whenja get here?” he asked a rather short man, who’s blue tinted hair seemed to defy logic. It flowed straight back as if the man had just been electrocuted. “About the same time you started berating Mantis,” Zap said as he unzipped his yellow hoodie. His yellow shorts flowed awkwardly over his knees as he sat down. The boss cleared his throat as he straightened his tie. Looking about the room he frowned slightly, “Now that Zap has arrived we can finally get down to business. Failsafe can you hear me?” the boss asked, his voice somewhat strained.

“Yes…barely but I can still hear you,” Failsafe’s voice sounded around the room, or more accurately inside the heads of all present at the meeting. “Good. Now you said they had some sort of cannon. What can you tell us about it?” the boss asked, his face stern as he looked about the room. “Well it didn’t start out as a cannon. At first it was a hammer of some sorts. That’s what they used to kill Specter but then it sort of…” Failsafe stopped, her voice trailing off as if she were trying to think of the correct word “…transformed into the cannon.”

The boss scratched his chin as he thought about what Failsafe had just said. “Alright thank you for the information Failsafe. For now try to stay hidden until we can find a way to get to you,” the boss spoke quickly. “Yes sir,” Failsafe said before she ended the connection between her and the meeting. “As for the rest of you, I don’t want you to do anything reckless. The main priority is to find a way to get Failsafe and the child back here. We don’t need you guys going on a rampage and placing her in danger. Understood?” The boss spoke to everyone sitting at the table looking mainly at Zap and Crash.

“Understood,” the rest of the group said in unison. “Good. This concludes the meeting. Enjoy the rest of the day,” the boss said as he walked out of the door. The rest of the group sat there for a moment before departing, leaving only Crash and Zap at the table. “Well, what didja think we should do?” Crash asked Zap, tapping his fingers on the table. “We should listen to the boss this time. Why don’t we just go get something to eat?” Zap suggested as he looked at Crash with his steel blue eyes. “Fine, but I get ta choose the place. The last place ya chose gave me diarrhea sa bad that I was afraid ta shit for a week.” With that said, the two boys stood from their seats and made their way outside.

Once outside they made their way to the parking lot where a single black car was parked. It looked rather old, as the paint seemed to have melted in places and there were large dents in the side. The tires were lacking treads and looked like they could pop at any moment. Zap got into the passenger side, having to reach through the window and open it from the inside. Crash, on the other hand, made his way to the other side. As he tried to open the door, it refused to move, causing Crash to frown. Crash grabbed the handle once again and pulled as hard as he could, entirely removing the door from the car. “Well fuck a brilliant red duck! Why does that happen every fuckin’ time?!” Crash exclaimed as he got into the car and placed the key into the ignition.

“It’s because you act like a damn barbarian,” Zap answered as he buckled up. “You should fasten your seatbelt as well. Seeing as how you don’t have a door.” “Yeah whatever,” Crash said as he put on his seatbelt. “Where are we going anyways?” Zap asked as Crash turned the vehicle on and put it into drive. “McDonalds,” Crash said as he began to drive away. Zap sighed. It was obvious that he didn’t want to eat there but he didn’t argue. “Which one?” Zap asked as he rested his head against the window. “The one out there,” Crash responded, pointing to the gate that separated their colony from the humans. “Okay, but remember we have to be back by seven pm,” Zap stated as they made their way past the gate and out onto the dirt road that lead to the human population. “I know. Ya don’ always have ta tell me.”
