Account Name: Aysia Name: Alexandria Acori Nickname: Aysia Age: 19 Gender: Female Height: 168cm (5’ 6”) Weight: 64Kg Guild: Lamia Scale Class: D Affiliation: Light Physical Description: Aysia’s skin tone is an alabaster white, comparable to the blankets of snow that form near her childhood home, this gives her an almost ghostly look that some mistake for her being ill. This is in striking difference to her dark ebony hair. This frames her face and causes her to look even more ghostly. Her hair rests upon her upper back and upper chest, it’s locks are usually free but brushed so they don’t obstruct her view, they are prone to move from their preferred position to her face, but are immediately returned, besides from when she is reading, as the way she positions herself means the hair can not interfere with her gaze. Her ears usually hidden beneath her fine ebony hair are rather small. Her face is something resembling a porcelain doll thanks to her skin tone, her rather small nose and small soft mouth coloured a pale red, However her most shocking facial feature is her eye colour, a deep violet; this being in deep contrast to the mono-tone of her face. Her doll like face is rather soft and prone to flush red when a conversation starts to involve her due to her shyness. Aysia’s body is of average proportions; however her choice in clothing slightly extenuates her curved figure due to her belt. Most see Aysia as a frail young woman who needs protecting, however in truth is can be fierce. She seems to radiate a glow of compassion when it is needed and her soft gaze highlights the youth and kindness in her face. The one imperfection of Aysia’s body is the scar that runs from her left wrist to elbow, however this is hidden beneath a tightly wrapped bandage and her shirt. Aysia walks with grace and composure, comparable to most Higher classed aristocrats and if she wishes so, she is able to capture the gaze of a room with her elegance, porcelain complexion and her striking violet eyes. Clothing: Aysia’s choice of clothing somewhat reflects her personality. That being she dislikes being too revealing about herself. Usually she wears a bright white shirt that extends to her wrists, the shirt has rather small cuffs fastened with two silver buttons each in the shape of a small bird. This shirt hides her arms and her upper body, she also wears a loose set of black cotton pants, similar to those most people would wear for leisure, these also extend to their fullest, as their hems rest against her lower ankle. These pants have like her dress a silver pattern to it, this pattern is a set of compact intricate swirls on the lower left leg. However this is hidden by Aysia’s black Cotton dress of sorts, The dress covers a majority of her shirt, Covering half of her neck and ending halfway on her upper arm, allowing the arms of her shirt to be seen and falling upon the floor slightly, so only the tips of her plain black shoes can be seen, this dress is decorated with a silver pattern of reflected swirls that extend from her bust region to the lower hemline. Around her Waist is tied a silver length of cord and attached to this is a small pouch where Aysia stores anything she needs, such as money and her small mirror. However occasionally she will remove the outer dress to simply wear that shirt and pants, however this is rare and usually only when it is required of her to use a certain Soul magic. Accessories: Aysia wears a small bracelet, a simple silver chain with five small amethysts attached to it at regular intervals, this rests loosely around her right wrist and the gems glow, the intensity of this glow depends upon the strength of magic being used either by herself or around her. Aysia also has a small circular mirror that she keeps within her clothing, a 7 inch mirror with slightly bevelled edges, sounded by a decorative silver frame that has been shaped to look as through ivy. Extra: Aysia has a thin scar on her left arm from wrist to elbow, the scar is something she is very much secretive about and is usually covered with a white bandage that is wrapped around her forearm, this however is hidden from view by her sleeves. Personality Aysia is quiet by nature, she dislikes being the centre of attention or even having any attention and so she can usually be found in a calm place away from crowds. Because of this she has little in the way of social skills and is rather shy around people who she is not familiar with. However once she does open up, she is a caring person who will do whatever in necessary to aid those close to her. Most of the time Aysia will watch, observing a situation before taking action, and gives an all or nothing response. If she feels she understands the situation enough she will place herself into it give approach it to the best of her abilities, if not she will simply continue to observe. Aysia has a deep untrusting attitude when it comes to any mage who specialises within any aspect of Ice magic due to her past. She approaches them with suspicion rather that hostility and it takes a much longer time for her to open up to them. She is one to not talk about her past, and if the situation does arise were someone asks her, she would simply walk away from the situation or not reply. History Weaponry/Equipment Aysia currently has no weapons or usable equipment. Stats - 65 Strength: 8 Accuracy: 10 Stamina: 10 Speed: 7 Magic: 30 Stat Points Earned: 30/55 Arc Points Earned: 0/0 Jewels Earned 8,200,000/11,800,000 Sources Skills & Disciplines Skills & Disciplines: Aysia has a vast collection of knowledge on Herbs and their medicinal properties after being an apprentice to an elderly healer in her past, She is also well versed in different illnesses and toxins and how to treat and nullify their effect. She also is knowledgeable when it comes to the human body, knowing which areas pain is received to it's maximum. Due to the training she underwent when she was a child, Aysia has a large resistance to the cold, not showing much discomfort at exceedingly low temperatures, even in a light amount of clothing. Magic Magic Name: Soul Magic Magic Type: Soul Magic (Lost Magic) Tier of Magic: Tier 1 Rank: 4 Magic Description: Soul magic is a rare form of magic that involves two distinct parts. One being Soul Divergence, this is the act of separating one’s energy from them this is done through the use of non-corporeal objects created by the Wizard, when these objects come in contact with another they are able to injure that person by draining an amount of their soul energy in that area, Similar to the effects of being pierced by a sword or being hit with a large force, however no physical trauma in caused simply the feeling of pain and the other symptoms of being physically injured in that area. The other main branch of Soul magic, called Soul Convergence involves the caster either forcibly via their Soul Divergence or with permission of the other Wizard(s) the ability to use the other Wizard(s) magic type for a period of time. At the higher levels of this magic, the ability to either prevent others from combining their magical abilities or allowing others to combine them becomes possible, however at great cost to the Wizard’s Magical energy. This magic however causes the caster to no longer be able to use any other forms of magic without using a soul technique, effectively locking them into this form of magic until death. Techniques: 2/13 (7 Earned + 6 Bought) Infinity Soul Blades - (1) Type: Offensive (Soul (Divergence)) Range: 8 meters Cool Down 2 posts rank 1-5, 1 post rank 6-10 Effect: Created a number of non-corporeal shadowy blade like projectiles above the caster’s head that shoot in a specified direction for a distance before fading out. Being non-Corporeal they are able to pass through weaker material without much hindrance but may be stopped or weakened by magical and most thicker physical defences, however they are unable to be used to cancel out physical abilities. These Soul Blades upon contact with a living being Drain a small amount of energy from the point that they contact, the effects are similar to being pierced by a short blade, however no wound will be present, only the weakness in that area and sensation of pain. Infinity Soul Blades Soul Convergence <Changeable> - (1) Type: Changeable ( Soul (Convergence)) Range: Changeable Cool Down Twice that of the original Ability that has been used via Soul Convergence plus one post. * ( Once used, NO magical techniques may be used for a Cool down of 1 post. Duration 5 posts from a Soul Divergence ability effecting an enemy to strike, or until the ally revokes the permission to use their magical techniques. ( Ends with thread) Effect: Using Her abilities of Soul Convergence Aysia takes on the Magical abilities of another that has recently given her permission to use or has recently been subjected to one of her Soul Divergence Abilities. Aysia is then able to cast an ability of the enemy's/ally's that she has recently encountered them using, so the Damage/Buffing Effect changes depending upon the ability Imitated. However doing so uses a large amount of magical energies, preventing her from using any form of magic for a small period of time. -* ( (2x Original Technique's Cooldown) + 1) - (Side note, The abilities imitated have the same properties as the original spell, however are classed as soul magic, and so unable to be manipulated as if it were the original ability, eg. Soul Convergence Fire would have the same effects as fire, however a fire manipulation mage would be unable to control it, but if they were unaffected by the effects of fire (Burning) then they would still be unaffected by this.) - ( Unable to imitate Ex-quip, Dragon Slaying, Summoning and take over forms of magic. ) - ( The User is able to replicate the effects of holder type magic, even if lacking the item used by the opponent for that type of magic.) -( All Techniques used by this go off the Level. E.g. If Aysia has Level 2 Soul Convergence and the opponent/ally has level 5 in that skill , it will be taken as two. However if Aysia has level 5 Soul Convergence and the opponent/ ally’s technique is Level 3, the soul convergence technique will have the level of 3.) Trying to get this straight... in (common) english, your magic is basically some form of pain magic, combined with...copying magic? |

Currently, Yes. The magic Aysia uses could be described as Pain magic at this present time, however 'Copying' is close to the description of the other side however it's not truly copying as there are some slight differences between the Soul Convergence technique and original. [Edit] I've had a little mess around with the wording, so hopefully it may be slightly more clear. I've also added another 2 small rules for the ability to try to ensure it isn't over powered. Also added Ranks to first technique. I hope it's up to par with expectations, thank you. ^^ Edited by Aysia, Oct 10 2011, 04:16 AM.

"Being non-Corporeal they are able to pass through any material that is unable to stop the flow of magical energies, meaning non-magical defences are useless, however they are unable to be used to cancel out physical abilities." I can tell you now, with the utmost of confidence, that wouldn't pass. It pretty much circumvents S Rank material, and it's a Rank 1 technique. Though, the rest of it seems okay, almost a little underpowered actually. You could probably buff up the damage it does past Rank 7. The other ranks seem to scale alright. |

[Edited] Fixed that description, also about being under powered, I understand that it may seem so power-wise. However it's more of a tactical magic taking awhile to build up. As for the damage after rank 7, it becomes more utility, I have planned a few more techniques that I will hopefully acquire in the future that will take it's place in damage. But thank you for your worry. Anyway thank you for your input and I hope it's now up to standard so I can join in on all the fun. ^^ Edited by Aysia, Oct 10 2011, 05:34 AM.

o3o~ Alright; I think everything save one is fine.... o3o~ Soul Convergence - The description as is is confusing me due to complexity, so I'm going to try restating it in a more simple manner, and you tell me if I'm correct... Soul Convergence allows you to copy and use a single technique of another person once, at the rank of whatever Soul Convergence is, with an extended cooldown and different properties classification-wise? (On another note; copying summonings and takeover is prohibited, as well as dragon slayer magic and exquip, though other item-based magic may be possible, pending on exactly how that magic works) |

[Edited] To state that it is unable to copy Summoning, Takeover, Ex-quip and Dragon slayer magic. As for holder type magic of other forms, it copies the effect and not the item that, so e.g. Card magic, the technique would be imitated without the use cards, however the ending effect would be the same. As for your simple version of Soul Convergence, most is correct, however the properties of the spell remain the same, but it is unable to be manipulated by other forms of magic that involve manipulating a certain element (ect.) - Also Soul Convergence Copies the technique at whatever Power level is lowest, be it Mine (Soul Convergence) or theirs (Copied Technique). As someone that has problems loading spoiler tags, and for the sake of my eyes, please remove the spoiler tags for "Description", "Physical Description", "Clothing", "Accessories", "Extra", "Personality", "Magic", "Techniques", the first "Infinity Soul Blades", and "Soul Convergence (Changeable)". - Magic Name is what your mage calls your magic, yours looks more like a magic type, but you don't have to change it. - Magic Type should give me a small insight into what the magic is at a glance (looks at current magic name). - Infinity Soul Blades seems a little weak at higher ranks (though we can worry about that when you're a higher rank), more important it seems too strong at low ranks, either reduce the number of blades, decrease the damage each one does, or increase the cool down, or a bit of some or all of the above. - Just to check, Soul Convergence only gives you one technique, not an entire magic, right? How close does someone need to be for you to first use Soul Convergence, and how do you determine which technique you get? |
