Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Sarcasm. Because beating the shit out of people is illegal.

Alexis evidently had her shit together and well and truly handled as Kazuya witnessed her shooting both of her opponents in the lower abdomen. Kazuya winced as he saw the bullets actually exit through their backs and fall to the ground somewhere behind them where they would be forever forgotten after this sentence. From the looks of things and Kazuya's basic knowledge on the human anatomy, she'd shot them both more or less in the gut- a region notorious for gun shot wounds (or swords, knives, arrows... any sort of wound really) going septic and leading to a slow and inexorable death. Damn, that was another reason not to piss her off he thought to himself with a silent whistle. Still, for the time being they seemed alive enough so if they left now and they died afterwards, it wouldn't be on their conscience.

Unfortunately, now was the time for the Fantabuous Foursome..er.. Phantasm to spring their trump card, their last resort, their last ditch effort, their saving throw. You get the idea- it was the last thing they'd be doing in this fight. As one, each one of the four mages dragged themselves to their feet, cutting off the two knights who had been in the middle of taking their leave. "Seriously guys, you're going to get yourselves killed if you try and fight us in your condition", Kazuya said, his tone conveying his earnest desire not to have to resort to killing anybody just yet. these guys may have been dark mages, but they were really pretty harmless in a retarded sort of way.

Sadly though, the Raven Tail mages must have had something to prove or perhaps a sense of pride that was inversely proportional to the coolness of their magic (that is to say, huge pride, very uncool magic). Half staggering, half limping, all wincing the badly beaten mages formed up and then began something truly ridiculous. Standing in a line, they simultaneously crossed their arms in front of them and roared in unison, "HOO!" They then proceeded to crouch low like someone doing the Mexican hat dance and extend their arms outwards with their fists clenched and thumbs pointing outwards. "HAA!" Still watching in almost disbelieving embarrassment, it was a wonder his jaw didn't hang loose a little bit in fact. But they weren't finished just yet, oh no. Rapidly picking up speed, as though their injuries were fading away, they clapped their hands down on the opposite knee and then up to the sides oh their heads. "HOOAH!" This was finally concluded as each of them jumped, did a 360 and landed in a variety of less than awe inspiring poses.

What was a little more intimidating however was the rather significant rainbow aura's that now surrounded each of the individuals like a veritable flame of magical energy. This was beyond the level of the techniques they had used before. It was like each of their individual poses had been applied to all 4 of them. Despite the beating dealt to them only minutes before, they now appeared refreshed, invigorated and ready for round 2. Without further adieu, they pounced. This time however, it was a full on four versus 2 as the teamwork of the 4 mages would be pitted against that of Kazuya and Alexis. Positioning himself between Alexis and the oncoming quadruplets, Kazuya only had a few moments to speak before engaging them and in that time, he said only three words. "Shoot the fuckers." Then he leaped forwards with new found speed and strength to take on all four of the D class minions at once. Kazuya was in his element now, he'd found his stride, his mojo, his groove. he was in the zone so to speak.

Four met one in a mighty clash that had Kazuya sliding backwards yet still managing to remain upright, his expression one of fierce concentration as his blade clashed with the broken remnants of his opponents spears. This clash didn't last long however as Kazuya pushed against them with all his strength- propelling himself backwards a meter and halting the forward momentum of his attackers. Skidding another half a meter before halting, Kazuya went on the attack without a moment wasted for pause. Sidestepping a strike from Gildo, Kazuya pivoted so he was standing behind the man and kicked him squarely in the back (in classic "Gears of war door opening style) so he stumbled towards Alexis's direction. However the kick had doubled as a pushing board and Kazuya used the resistance to launch backwards in a somersault over Jayse's head who had been about to flank him. Landing behind him, the pair exchanged a number of quick blows before Jayse found himself disarmed and the hilt of Kazuya' sword hit him in the nose (again) leaving the poor mage stunned and swaying on his feet for several moments.

Jack and Burda chose this moment to attack him from the left and right simultaneously. Spinning on the spot, Burda's broken shaft passed his torso by less then an inch in front whilst Burda's did the same at his back. Time slowed momentarily before accelerating again like a classic anime fight scene. Kazuya stomped down hard on Burda's shin- his foot finding excellent purchase and causing the man to howl in pain- doubling over in the process. This was just the chance Kazuya needed to bring his foot straight up, collecting the man's face in a rising heel kick. That lofted the man off his feet, leaving hima s a suspended target for Alexis and her guns. However this wasn't the end of his escapades as he spun on his heel, leg still in the air and brought it down on the back of Jacks head in a traditional axe kick maneuver. The man's head whipped towards the floor, but he caught himself on all fours and pushed himself back to his feet using his magically enhanced strength and stamina to weather the blow.

Snarling, the whites of his eyes showing, Jack lunged at Kazuya who was knocked off his feet under the reckless tackle despite raising his sheathe to block it. Partly winded, Kazuya was now in the exceptionally bad position of being flat on his back while Jack, who appeared to be in some berserk-like state loomed over him, broken spear raised high ready to plunge it straight into Kazuya. Jesus Christ Alexis, if you pull one shot off, let it be this one and let it be right now! Kazuya prayed,a s the idea of being stabbed (possibly more than once in quick succession) by a ragged piece of wood was in no way shape or form on his list of things to do. Ever.

It was so amusing, to see these fools try and take her on without anyone even approaching her power level, and the nameless woman simply cocked her head to one side, smiling widely as the woman who had come alone to face her prepared a sword. Well, that wasn't all she did really, she extended her reach to the world around her, felt everything happening and felt the heartbeat of the world, and therefore of the man who had come to attack her. He was a fool, to try and rush in like that without any warning, and she would make sure he knew exactly how stupid it was to attack a foe without any intel whatsoever. At least the woman had been smart enough to begin with a call for surrender, to try and see if there was anything she could garner before the combat began. But this man was an idiot and he would pay.

His attack was fast, sure, but it was useless, for the woman raised her arm and the sword hit her arm and stopped, the explosion bursting out around her but the blade somehow being locked in place as it hit and stuck against what was normally a smooth bracer but had somehow allowed the edge of the man's weapon to sink in and not be able to move.
"Ah," she said as the smoke and explosion cleared, "I was hoping you were stronger. Remind me not to expect much from any of you then."
A quick twist of her body and a wrench of her arm and Ryo would find himself disarmed, the blade flying off into the distance as the woman spun and faced the man who was now minus one weapon.
"So what say you?" she asked as she twisted the edge of her scythe so the blade faced the man who had been so very easily disarmed and who was very very close to death already.

In three of the four corners the Raven Tail Mages were still relatively unapposed, three of the islands now sunken to a point of 3 inches of water covering the entire ground of all of Coreopsis, except in one corner where a man had been attacked by some insect, an insect he was bored enough to swat away.
"Hello little bee," the tall man said, standing to his full height as the ex-quipping boy came running at him, "You should be flying this way, not that way."
And he made a strange cupping gesture with his hand, turning it in the air and Soul suddenly found himself running away from the man and his attempts to destroy the foundations of this island, a mocking laughter ringing in his ears.
"Come back little bee!" he would hear, "I want to hear your buzzing!"

Alastor couldn't help but to smile as Excel gave him a smell peck, her words making him smile. She wanted to help, and she could, an extra body. Even if he couldn't let her get hurt, he could give her something to help with. Taking a deep breath "okay, then I'll let you hold one of our friends alright?" Alastor said, clapping his hands silently as a green magic circle erupted from his hands, the light not noticable outside the stand, the old voodoo doll popping out, having finally learned to be a bit silent when it was called, its accent seeming to be more from an old gangster/cop movie, tommy guns and good looking cars! Although he kept quiet, waiting until he felt he should begin talking to talk at all, mostly because they seemed to be hiding.
"Okay, Excel, hold C'thun and aim him at the lady alright? Just, stay hidden as much as you can. I don't want you hurt. I don't want the girl i -really- like hurt okay?" Alastor spoke as he signalled Shadow it was time, Shadow flying off against the womans shadow, being pretty silent seeing as, he was a Shadow. Taking advantage that she had been focused to talking to the random mage. He was going to hit her and hit her hard, going for a direct stomach punch while she was looking away. At the same time the doll would be able to cause alot of distress, heck he were powerful by now!

//OOC: Summary, Al gives C'thun to Excel - she can Npc him etc. And Shadow goes in for an attack.//

Angry. Fury. Hate. The urge to kill, to spill blood, to hear the dying throes of a ill-fated man. Those had been the principal delights of Shunsuke's life before he had met Sinjin, and even now they were of high priority to him whenever he got into a blood-lust frenzy. And with the asshole move that the attacking mages of Raven Tail did, choosing to drown the whole city of Coreopsis in the lakes of Celadon along with the main Tartaros Guild Hall, Shun had set his mind to kill them all. Put a bullet through their head, jab some steel into their hearts, crack their skulls with a rock. Any way that would kill was fine, so long as those bastards got down and stayed down forever. Luckily for Shunsuke, he didn't have to wait long as a few mages, obviously newer ones at the trade, came charging straight for the Tartaros guild hall. The imbeciles... Taking out his knife, he waited in a nearby alleyway, and as soon as the last one of the pair that came charging here passed him, he jumped out of the dark alleyway and stabbed the man in the back of his neck, the blade piercing through his throat. Quickly drawing out the other knife, he parried a blow from the surviving mage's sword by angling his own blade so that the enemy's blade hit it head on, dissipating much of the force and causing the sword to swing into the ground, he ran up and stabbed the man through the heart. Retrieving both of his knives from the dead corpses, he wiped the blood of the blades and sheathed them, then he drew out his trusty pistol and flicked off the safety, loading the pistol.

Somewhere near him, he heard the soft, crackling 'thump' of a paper bag hitting the cobblestone streets. Turning around, he saw the taiyaki bag that Sinjin had been carrying lying on the stone floor, it's owner somewhere in the distance shooting a man with his magical crossbow Rem Camardon-something. Not that it mattered much to Shun what Sinny was doing right now, since he knew that the guy could handle himself properly. Instead he was going to retrieve that bag of taiyaki and stuff it into his shoulder bag, nice and saf-a heavy boot stomped onto the paper bag, crushing it's contents into a mushy, sticky mess. Even as the unfortunate Raven Tail member swore at his bad luck, Shunsuke had taken aim and pulled the trigger, a bullet being shot at explosive speeds from the barrel of his gun, ending it's journey by digging itself into the unlucky bastards heart.

Watching as the water from the flooding rose higher and higher by the minute, for now it had gotten pass his feet, Shunsuke looked around for a way to get to dryer ground, and he found it. A nearby fire-escape ladder that made a nearby building's roof easily accessible by jumping, and so Shun took it. Leaping off of the ladder safety bars and landing onto the tiled roof of a house, he realized that he had an excellent vantage point of the streets below him this way, perfect for sniping people, except that he had no sniped rifle to speak of. Sighing to himself and his lack of Jewels and running along the roof, he waited and watched for any Raven Tail member to come by. And come they did.

Sneaking along the roof of a nearby building, they had expressions of disbelief and surprise when Shunsuke jumped out from behind a chimney stack and shot them all, all 3 of them, with his pistol. The bullets thudding itself into the heart, blowing off a hand and hitting a major artery in the leg, all three mages collapsed. One died instantly, while the others started bleeding out immediately, fatally wounded. Jumping onto the next roof and taking care to stomp on a dying mage's face while he was at it, Shun carried on, moving from roof to roof, waiting for his chance to spill blood yet again.

Sinjin continued his way towards the center of the city. He took some of the alleyways that had narrow spaces but higher surfaces. Soon, he was back on a 3-inch high of water flooding the streets. By then, he found a stack of crates that had fallen all over the path. He decided to climb over it, the blood blade still sticking out from his left arm, a grave warning to any attacker not to simply appear before the youth without good reason. Then again, he wasn’t one of the guild’s stronger mages so perhaps he would end up being one of the better targets for the enemy if they found out. But that was only if they find out since his tattoo was cleverly hidden on the only shoulder that held the yukata in place.

As he climbed over the stacks of crates, he jumped over the wired fence and landed on the other side, water splashing from beneath his feet. Again, he was back in track and he started running towards the end of the alleyway, hoping to spot a sign so he could direct himself back to the path of where he should be heading. It was along the way when someone tried to pull a quick one on him and ambushed him from the blind side of the corner. It was a good thing that Sinjin accidentally slipped along the watery surface that he was able to dodge the strike of a blunt sword. He then twisted in his fall and sent a kick up to the attacker’s gut, forcing him to back up. And as soon as Sinjin got back to stand, he went on a relentless slicing assault with his blood blade, cutting through the man’s lower limbs before striking straight to his chest.

The blunt weapon falls from the attacker’s hand and submerges into the water, where blood had started to smear along its surface. The last breathes of the man would be heard, rasping and pitiful as Sinjin walks away. Another of those lower ranked mages had gone down, but it was far from over. What needed to be done was to take care of those with higher authority. If they fell, the underlings would realize that they are goners and perhaps result to retreating. If so, then he could very well help save his new home. That was what lingered in the youth’s mind as he continued down the small pathway, running between the destroyed buildings of what was once a beautiful tourist destination.

Along the way, he caught sight of something from atop the building he started running from below. Shadows and reflections moving fast along the water’s surface. Instantly, Sinjin looked up and caught sight of a familiar face – it was Soul. The golden haired youth quickly ran towards a fallen post and used it as a leverage to climb to higher level of a ruined building. There, he saw that the Tartaros mage he once met had seemingly ran past and showing his back to another mage. It didn’t take long for Sinjin to guess the other mage’s identity when he overheard his voice and no doubt that the man was planning something vile with the way he slurred with such taunting words. Though Rem Carmadon wasn’t fully ready, Sinjin quickly raised his right arm and aimed the crossbow gauntlet towards the enemy’s direction. A good 35-meters of distance between them was nothing to the range that the crossbow could launch.

Without further ado, Sinjin pressed the side trigger and sent one strong bolt launching from the weapon, piercing through the sky as it headed towards the direction of the unknown mage. If he really was an enemy, then lucky for Sinjin; if not, then he would just be a collateral in the chaos ensuing. And though the boy wasn’t sure if Soul would take his interfering as helpful, he’ll have to brace himself for any complaints that the other might strike out at him for doing such a thing. After all, he somehow learned that Soul was the type of mage who liked doing things solo in their guild. Hopefully, the appearance of a newbie such as himself wouldn’t be greeted with a scorned face, though that is highly unlikely.

Excel blinked as she watched the crazy owl head woman fight some red haired guy. From the looks of it, She was winning. She then turned to Alastor, watching him conjure a doll and give it to her. She blinked and looked the doll over, smiling at how cute it was. She listened and nodded when Alastor gave her orders. She found a place to hide, but made sure she could do what Alastor said and point the doll at the woman. Once hidden in an undisclosed location within a hundred metres of the woman, she aimed the doll at the woman. The doll caught a glimpse of the woman's face and that's when it went to work. The doll began to use it's strong mental magic to get into the woman's head and start to chant things in a voice from the woman's past. The mental magic would create delusions for the woman while she tried to fight them off. Excel just held the doll, letting the cute little thing do it's magic while it chanted in the woman's mind. She was certain that the woman would feel some effect of the magic, if not all. The chants and delusions should be enough to distract her from Alastor, so he could take her down. She just hoped that she managed to help him somehow. She loved her master and wanted to do anything to help, even if it meant hiding and holding the voodoo doll to distract their enemies. It was better than doing nothing at all.

The group were in quite the hurry; their priority was to get to the Town square after all, so that they could see the full brunt of the chaos with their own eyes, for better or for worse. As they were hastily making their way to their destination, Rayleigh had asked him quite the peculiar question, though, Alastors response wasn’t quite ordinary either.
Despite the mad hatter giving quite a peculiar answer, the blond understood it perfectly, and even though they were running quite fast, it seemed like he had all the time in the world to think it through. “…removing competition huh…”

After a few more brisk moments of heart throbbing sprinting, it seemed the trio had finally reached their destination, though, from the looks of it, it would appear that arriving there wasn’t such a great idea after all. The place seemed quite war torn, though it wasn’t AS bad as the blond had perceived it, it was still pretty messed up, with glass for shops and other buildings being shattered, the ground having a few craters bored into it, with pieces of jagged uneven rocks clearly protruding from it.

If the blond thought the landscape was bad, he hadn’t seen anything yet, as when the mad hatter had given the signal to stop, he looked straight ahead, all he saw was a girl, although, he thought it was a girl, however this was no ordinary girl…as her head was turned in an angle that most people would die from…her head was tilted 180 degrees! So that she could see anything that was behind her!

The blond didn’t know what to make of this, however he immediately began to sweat in fear, as any kid would after seeing such a distressing sight, though, it didn’t look like she had noticed them, actually, and it looked like she was preoccupied with someone else, and from the looks of it, the other individual seemed like she was a knight, oh great, at least it wasn’t just them who were prepared to stop the dark mages, though…was she enough to take on that freakish girl?!

Rayleigh managed to calm himself down quite quickly however, and just in time too, Alastor had asked him and the girl to hide with him, because if he was still nervous, he would have probably made a noise to alert the other two, which would not have been a great idea, however, what bemused him was how the mad hatter was the strongest of the three yet the first one to hide, though, the blond hardly had enough time to ask him and just did as he was told, hiding behind what appeared to be a tattered stand.

Through out the time that they were hiding, the girl kept protesting at how she wanted to help, and the blond couldn’t help but agree, after all, he came here to help, not cower and hide like a little child would, hell, even a little child would have done something, like throw a stone, this was beyond demeaning…however, it seemed that Alastor had an ulterior motive after all, for he wanted them to hide so that the two less experienced mages wouldn’t become the target and essentially killed in the first swoop, despite hiding being quite sneaky, it seemed it was for the best.

Suddenly, the mad hatter held out some strange doll like thing, and gave it to excel, asking her to hold it at the scary looking lady, though the blond wasn’t quite sure why, he could only assume that it was going to be something cool, so almost instinctively, he asked the hatter if he could help too, after all, it was only fair!

as Soul landed on the roof next to the clock tower, he quickly started running towards the next building, and jumped just as he reached the edge and continued running to the next building. As he ran and jumped from building to building, Soul caught sight of a small figure in the distance, just standing there. Not having a good visibility of the man, Soul just continued running. Jumping onto the building the man was on, Soul found himself charging the unknown man with his hidden blades.

But, before Soul even got within range to attack the man, he found himself running in the complete opposite direction. 'huh?' Soul thought as he heard a faint voice in his ear. "Come back little bee!" a mocking voice rung in his ears. "I want to hear your buzzing!" were tha last words Soul heard before running passed Sinjin who came up to the roof from a fallen pillar of another building.

Soul slide to a stop and turned towards the unknown mage and sinjin. "What the hell?" Soul soul say on how he was suddenly running in the opposite direction. 'what kind of magic was that?' Soul thought to himself as he stared the unknown mage down. Slowly walking back towards the unknown mage, Soul stopped next to Sinjin. "What brings you here?" Soul paused as he continued to look at the unknown mage.

"Well, unfortunately for my pride, this guy is definitely out of our leagues, so are only choice to have a chance against this guy is to team up" Soul continued as he removed the hood of his assassins garbs revealing his full face. His snow white hair waved with the soft breeze that passed through the area that the three mages were in. His pupils in his red eyes were small and filled with excitement, but also showed a chunk of fear within them. Soul had never been afraid of anybody, but being in this guys presence, he could feel the power difference between them.

Sinjin then shot a bolt from his crossbow in the direction of the unknown mage. Soul saw this as a small opportunistic opening to try and attack the unknown mage again. Forming a large magic circle beneath his feet, Soul changed his suit of armor to his demon kai armor. Once it was summoned, Soul reached his hand back behin him and a green circle light appeared within his hand and started to decrease in size until it was no bigger the a marble. Once it was no bigger then a marble, the light expanded into a brighter, and thicker green light that was the size of a baseball. As soon as the attack was ready, Soul chucked the magic ball of pure energy towards the unknown mage right behind the bolt that sinjin shot. when the ball that Soul sent towards the unknown mage connected with anything solid, and explosion would be caused. Soul only hoped that the ball would make contact with the mage and nothing else.

Sinjin jumped up further, landing on the same rooftop level as Soul after he launched that bolt. He wasn’t sure if their combined attack would hit, but it was better than nothing. “Sure thing. I won’t give this guys the luxury of life after they’ve attacked my home.” He replied to the other’s offer of a team-up, though he also had to remind himself that he was just the new guy in the guild and compared to Soul who was far superior than him in terms of skill and prowess, he still had a lot to learn. Now, if Soul would even admit that their opponent was someone he couldn’t face alone, Sinjin knew they had to pull out all the stops in this.

In the short moment of the explosion of their attack, hinting it may have hit something, Sinjin was already preparing another bolt on his crossbow. But before that, he ran to the side to give himself some distance from Soul in case retaliation would be done from the opponent. It would be bad to stick together too much and dividing the target’s attention could be to their advantage. Once there, Sinjin skid along the surface, bending to one knee as he aimed Rem Carmadon once more. This, however, there was a gathering of wind at the tip of the weapon as light shone around it. Without much hesitation, he shot out the bolt that streamed through the air with light spiraling from behind it. Truth to be told, it was a wind enchantment that coated the bolt, an effect that Rem Carmadon prided itself, and if the bolt were to hit its target, the gathered wind would explode with a strong impact that could even cause a small crater of destruction and dust to converge.

But Sinjin wouldn’t stop there. He brought up his blood blade and made a small thin cut on his right palm that sent blood leaking from the wound. Instantly, he used his blood magic and from it came a long streak of line crimson before it took shape of a windmill scythe, a pair of them held with both hands and whose ends were linked together with chains, all made from his bloody magic. “Chijini.” He uttered as it solidified and took its form in crimson color, right before he started twirling one of the windmill scythe by its chain and throwing it at the site of the enemy, the blade slicing through the dissipating smoke from the explosion and hopefully land at the enemy. It was quite clear that the youth would not wait and would rather attack without sparing a moment for the target to recover. Hopefully, that would help their side.

The man noticed out of the corner of his eye an incoming bolt but a casual flip of his hand sent it flying another way, hitting a poor woman in the chest three streets away on accident. No, he was more concerned that his progress was falling behind his siblings in destroying the city so he would deal with these rats now.
Rats now, not insects.
However the man tried to send his own attack behind the bolt but it was also was deflected with slightly more effort due to the magic of it, sending it high into the air where it was then redirected to hover around for a time, until this man needed it again. The same thing happened to the crossbow bolt that was fired -though this redirection required a whole hand amazingly- but then the boy did something to do with scythes that couldn't be redirected for some reason. They were... part of him somehow? This was troublesome, he didn't want to have to use his other techniques so soon...
"Damn," the man said as the scythe flew in close, "I was hoping to save this."
And he dashed forwards, punching the scythe with his open palm and shattering it into thousands of drops of blood, his expression triumphant as he glared at the rats who dared challenge him.

Oh and the female mage? Well, as soon as she heard the beginnings of things in her head she simply concentrated a little, her image wavering and flickering as though she wasn't really there for a moment, and when she stopped flickering a moment later the voices were gone and the doll in Excel's hands would collapse and crumble into dust...
And the Shadow's attack? Well it hit her shadow but nothing happened, she didn't react in any way shape or form, she simply smiled at Ryo, scythe ready to bisect him if he made any move whatsoever, or if any of the other mages made their moves
