Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Oberon swiped at where the black colored man was. With the other mage and him both attacking at the same time there was no way he could avoid them! "Don't be so cocky kid, remember what Yhama said" Yang said in a slightly apprehensive tone as the spirit commented on what the black signed boy was doing and planning to do. The man however seemed to have different plans as he simply gave a soft "Tch" before promptly grabbing the arm of the siping mage as he sidestepped Oberon much to his surprise as the black winged boy let lose a "God damn!" in surprise and annoyance. The man smiled slightly and spinned smacking the black winged boy against the flying knuckle coming at him. The black winged boy braced himself for the inevitable attack that he was sure to receive. He twisted his arms while he was being spun in and effort to try and break loose of the man's grip. He was successful, only because the man had let go on purpose just before he would hit a home run with Obeorn most likely breaking his back.

"Next time i would recommend that you don't get so cocky" The man said in a bored tone.

"Who the hell is this guy?" Yin said in an impressed although slightly fearful voice into the head of the black winged boy. "How the hell should i know? I'm just the guy who breaks things" Oberon said as he grabbed his head as his fall onto the gravel roof wasn't exactly the most graceful of sorts resulting in the pounding sensation in his head. He had no idea what had happened to the other mage and really didn't care although the team up between them would definitely put the odds in their favor. Now wasn't the time to be worried about other people, the winged demon had to watch out for number one, which if you couldn't guess, was him "cold" Yang said with a slight chuckle

"If you two want to know so badly before you die i suppose i can tell you, my name is Takashi, C rank mage of Raven tail and like your friend over there someone not to be taken lightly" Takashi said making a slight head nod over towards where the other mage should have been.

"gh, okay lets see how you like a little of this!" Oberon said loudly as he started up the signature spell. He grinned as the familiar black and green flames appeared around his head, "About time god dammit!" the flame demon yelled into the black winged boys mind excitedly letting out a high pitched cackle. Oberon smirked at Takashi who seemed still rather bored and actually more interested in the other mage that was with him as he actually talked to him while the mage was starting a spell against him! Oberon growled before he rocked his head back slightly before yelling and igniting the black and green flamethrower and aiming his head at the Raven Tail mage. He was probably screwin over his chances of joining by doing this, but hey a guys gotta do what a guys gotta do. The flamethrower was about to hit the man only for Takashi to raise an arm without even looking at the winged demon and shoot another ball of light at him connecting with the flamethrower known as Dark Hart and creating a counter explosion nullifying his one. "That bastard, i'll poke his eyes out" Yang growled, he hated being out done even more then Oberon when the moment raised although it was still a bit of a surprise for him to do so.

There had to be a way around his magic! he could't fly, so maybe they could-. Oberon grinned as he formed an idea in his head. He motioned to the other mage who hopefully could do some damage as well. Takashi was talking to him anyways as he was rather bored with Oberon seeing him as an insect. Oberon tried to get his plan across by making smashing moments against the gravel as if trying to say 'break the roof!' without saying anything. Damn this had better work....

Steel your mind. Run on instinct.
Ecclair was ready for the unknown, she was prepared to find out what this woman’s magic was the hard way for well that was always the trouble with unknown mages and their magic. Despite being ready for an attack from any direction the pink haired knight hadn’t been prepared for the sight that unravelled itself before her. As the mage’s head twisted around like an owl to face her Ecclair raised an eyebrow, now that just wasn’t normal even for a mage. It was a disturbing sight to see but that wasn’t the most pressing issue, as the woman’s voice came from behind her Ecclair’s instincts had her turning around to face her enemy automatically. This didn’t bode well at all for the Bellumese warrior, how had the woman moved behind her so quickly and without her sensing it? Or was it that she was never there in the first place? Was she dealing with an illusion mage or something else? All were questions that still had no answers and that were dancing through the knight’s mind as she began to wonder if she had bitten off more then she could chew. Aiden shouldn’t have been far behind her or so she hoped, time to stall for some valuable time before some reinforcements turned up.

“That thing you’re doing, yeah the thing where you make noise. Stop doing that”, O.K so Ecclair might have been wiser to change her personality for a bit this time around but that just wouldn’t be her now would it? As the knight’s aqua blue eyes took in her opponents weapon it became obvious a battle without blades wouldn’t be occurring and so Ecclair summoned her blade to her grasp. It was as her hand gripped the hilt of her weapon that Ecclair was forced to take yet another action, as a large explosion took place between her and her opponent she assumed it was an attack from the mage and back flipped several times to avoid it’s heat and the smoke it would produce. After landing and readying herself for the attack that she assumed would occur Ecclair became rather confused when none came, when the smoke cleared and the explosion was no longer around the reason became apparent however. So it seemed she was not the only one that wanted this woman dead, watching as an unknown figure began to fight with the mage Ecclair smirked. She had wanted back-up and although he was no knight and most likely a dark mage himself, the enemy of her enemy was her friend….for now at least.

There was no way to intervene in the tussle for now without causing issues and so for that very reason the pink haired knight approached them slowly and circled like a shark, she would be close enough to take action when she could but also far enough away so as not to interfere when she shouldn’t.

Blitz launched his fist at the explosion mage, only for the mage to grab the mage who had dove at him a moment ago and sling him across, intending to use him as a shield, but thankfully he let go before Blitz's fist connected, the fist shooting past him as the other mage regained a bit of height before turning and launching a blast of flame at him, Blitz curious about the color. Cool flame, he thought, maybe i should tweak my Forge Finisher form a little to alter its color as well. The flame's color didn't seem to change the outcome of its impact, however, the explosion mage merely sending another ball of light at the lancing flame to impact it, snuffing it out with an explosion. Hell, he didn't even bother looking in his direction - that's gotta sting that guy's ego, he thought with a slight wince. He was surprised to hear some praise of sorts from him, though - maybe his punch earlier had left an impression on him.

While the other mage tried to get his attention, Blitz took advantage of the moment to fire off his second fist on a thick chain as well, speeding to the ground first before changing direction and zipping up to the explosion mage. The other fist, meanwhile, altered it's course, too, zipping towards the explosion mage from the other side. "Pincer move," Blitz said quietly as two 4 foot walls of knuckled steel raced towards the mage from either side, "Double Knuckle!"

Sinjin ran, leading Shunsuke away from those mage. After a while, they ended up finding the guild hall and the golden haired youth rushed towards the structure, throwing the bag of taiyaki back to Shun. No doubt that there was urgency in his action, as the simple fact that he would throw such precious items was a rare sight. “Wait for me out here. I’ll just get something.” He called back to the other as he went straight for the doors of the guild hall, slipping inside. The place seemed quite normal for the time being and Sinjin rushed towards the corner of the hall where he had deposited his newly bought weapon for safekeeping, and because the tavern master of the hall had been interested in it when he showed it to the guy.

“Ossan, can I get Rem Carmadon now?” He said, approaching the counter in a hurry. “Something’s not right. Just saw a pair of knights around and Ryo’s back. I can’t miss this chance to show him how much I’ve grown, now can I?” He added as the tavern master quickly reached to the back for something before turning around to give it to Sinjin. The greenish gauntlet crossbow had its reputable fine finish on the surface, amazing Sinjin of its build. “Thanks. I promise not to make a mess with it.” He said to the older man before turning around and started wearing the weapon on his right hand. He made sure to fasten the strap around the gauntlet well. In any case, the wings of the crossbow was still folded inside, creating the illusion that it was just one weird gauntlet for the moment, but it would soon change the moment he would activate them.

It was when he was on his way back out when the series of events unfolded. The earth shook for a moment, before large snapping sounds echoed. Everyone in the hall was alerted and there was chaos resounding from outside as well. By the time Sinjin ran out from the hall, he found himself walking on an unstable surface and water was already flooding the streets. “What the?!” He couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Coreopsis – the floating land of beauty and water was being assaulted. Just like his earlier feelings of uneasiness, he was right to judge the moment with suspicion. And not just that, more of the bridges snapped and the surface was threatening to fall apart and be submerged into the torrent of water. If it goes on any longer, the city may as well be submerged under water and his guild’s home would be gone. That, he can never allow.

“Raven Tail?” He repeated at the sound of their vicious greeting. He quickly turned to find Shun at where he left him and faced back to the chaos around him. He knew he had to act before any more of it would happen and he would have failed in defending his home. “No. I won’t lose my family again.” He declared with gritted teeth as he began running down the streets. He was obviously angered by the predicament that he might lose this new family that he had just made his own, and was on the run of destroying whoever it was that was at fault. Surprisingly, he had forgotten about Shunsuke at the moment, or more like he didn’t feel like asking for help from the other.

While heading over the ensuing chaos, Sinjin managed to run towards a toppled over statue and jumped from its highest point. He landed on top of a short building, where he began running from roof to roof, assessing the extent of the flooded streets. It sent an urge of wanting to go into a rampage against those who caused the current predicament of Coreopsis. That was something Sinjin would gladly permit himself to do, but he needed to find those responsible first. Along the run, he heard a few explosions and tremor and followed it, strangely enough, finding a familiar face in the crowd, it was Blitz and some other guy battling a pair of other mages. He wasn’t sure what the alliance of Blitz was, but he overheard one of the opposing mages declare himself as a Raven Tail member and that was all it needed to spark anger within Sinjin.

Immediately, the youth toggled on a switch on the wrist area of the gauntlet and the wings flapped out to form the gauntlet. He then reached down to the side of his tight and reached down for one bolt before placing it on the crossbow. He then took aim with the weapon and with just about fort meters away from the target (Takashi of Raven Tail), he didn’t hesitate to tap on the trigger located on the side of the handle. Instantly, a light gathered around the edge of the crossbow, glinting along the bolt as it was launched out from the weapon and pierced through the air with immense speed, creating a spiraling stream of light at its wake and as soon as it would collide with the target, the gathered wind elemental magic at the bolt’s tip would be released and create an explosion strong enough to create a crater at its center and blast away any ordinary items in hand. And only then would his presence be known to them, already readying another bolt on the crossbow. No doubt that he and his Rem Carmadon would definitely attack without reserve.

Shadow clapped silently for Excel for being extra creative grabbing the first item, well okay grabbing the first item that was going to be perfect for a slapdown and go on to do it with a a stunning amount of grace, he joining in the victory dance though Alastor had to cut it short, even though he smiled back and gave her a thumbs up, they had to keep moving. Beginning to run for the town square once more. Shadow once again grabbing Excel and letting the group hurry on, Menchi still wobbling up and down on Alastors head as they ran, he almost getting caught suprised by Ray as he asked a question, not because it was bad or anything just that he had been so focused on running. "Not exactly these are the gatherings of all the scum and smut you will find among mages, you think the worst of the worst people will stick together? Heck if there only remained one dark guild that would mean all the jobs they could handle and alooooot of power... Their removing competition really" Alastor replied before they finally seemed to come to the town square.

And what met them? A crazy lady with her head gone 180, Alastor getting the creeps just looking at it, holding his arms signalling them to stop. "Okay, look, this wont be easy... So... So don't get hit either of you okay? Top priority for you two is survival" Alastor spoke taking off Menchi and putting him down next to Excel, "and no eating the dog hehe" He spoke smiling, turning around only to hear a loud boom and some explosion having occoured, a pink haired knight and some... Well he looked to be a dark mage, Alastor couldn't see it all as dust was still settling. Slowly starting the spin on his weapon, wanting it ready to shoot at any moment. Trying to catch the attention of the knight without alerting the weird enemy mage as she was going to have her hands full with a recent attack. The spinning gun seeming silent either way so it wasn't a problem to have it ready to shoot the gal at the moment he had the chance, protecting Excel, Ray and the town was his priority, taking down the enemy number two.
"Stay quiet and stay hidden if possible, we got to use this time to our advantage" Alastor spoke as there were still a good cover from a little stand for them to hide behind, of course Alastor hiding just fine knowing the others would do the same.

Pretty Un-Grump
Excel giggled as Shadow shared in her victory dance, even though Alastor had to cut it short. She didn't get mad. He had a proper reason after all. She was soon scooped up by shadow again while he and Alastor continued on their run towards what ended up being the twon square. The origin of that bright green beacon light. She heard Alastor explain something to Rayleigh, but she decided to ignore it and look around. Once they arrived in the town square, Excel screamed, but quickly clasped her hands over her mouth when she saw a lady with a backwards head. It gave Excel the chills. Creepy, creepy lady. The young voodoo apprentice clung to Shadow's invisible body when Alastor told her and Ray to make sure that they didn't get hit. Excel nodded and scooped up Menchi when Alastor set him down. She shuddered once more. Shit was gitting real now and the weak little apprentice couldn't do much of anything to help her master. She felt useless, but she wanted to try. She huffed and jumped out of Shadow's grasp and stood beside Alastor, she having the bass guitar that she scavenged slung over her back. She noticed Alastor's gun and smiled, she giving him a quick peck on his lips. Excel will fight with you, Master Alastor. I don't want to feel useless. As long as I have Master Shadow protecting me, my poisons and snakes can be of some help.

You want Thingamabobs? I got 20.
Coming at her with a stabbing motion, Gildo tried to pierce her chest. Alexis moved to the left, avoiding his stab, but being forced to be in closer range to Jack... Rakoon... whatever his name was. Alexis couldn't be bothered to ask him what he preferred to go by and she didn't care. Both of his names weren't that impressive anyway so if Alexis was to ever address him it would be Phantabulous #4. Now see it works because there are four of them and they are the Fantabulous Phatntasm so combining all that you get a name of Phantabulous and then since they all look the same, which was four times the bleh for Alexis, he got the number four.

Phantabulous #4 swept down at her feet, but this was a lot like jump rope really. When someone sweeps for your feet you just jump over it. Then since his playground tricks didn't work she swept down at an angle with her left rapier, aiming for his chest. It shallowly cut him and while it would have done more damage to him Alexis was forced to parry Phantabulous #3, who came at her with another stabbing attempt. It was a good thing that they moved relatively slow because they actually had a fair amount of team work between each other. If they ever stopped dancing and tried actual training then who knows what they, as the Fantabulous Phantoms, could be capable of. Alexis had both members now in her sights. Rakoon was in front of her on her left and Gildo was in front of her on her right. Her eyes on both of them now it would be easier to see when they made a move. Her plan was roughly wait until they move and then go for the one furthest behind. She figured that her speed was a little better then theirs and that she could disable the hind attacker before having to turn and deal with the front. Instead the phantoms did something that was completely out of anything Alexis thought they would do. She had considered everything from sitting down and spinning yarn to teaching a beginner baking class, but what they did was just down right strange.

They struck poses. Poses. Not only were they not even attractive enough to try such a thing, but here they were. Struting their stuff. It. Was. Failing. Gah the amount of intense fury Alexis had just because they did ridiculous poses in the middle of a fight made her want to slap some Kazuya's senseless. Gildo was posed on his knees with both his arms angled up to the left. Rakoon was doing the same only in the opposite direction. Their lamness was painful to see and Alexis was about to just walk away and move onto something a lot less irritating, but then they decided to move. A green aura enveloping Guildo and a purple one surrounding Jack they both rushed at with greater speed. Guildo attempted his stabbing maneuver again, only this time it was a lot more deadly and Alexis had to tumble to the right in order to avoid it. It was that or take the chance of being stabbed, something that was on her lists of "Don't Dos". In a crouch, Alexis raised her rapiers in order to block what she thought was a slash downwards from Jack, but he fooled her and with quick hand movement changed the attack so that the blunt end of the spear avoided her block and hit her right at the edge of her lower ribs. Flinching in pain, she moved back and stood up again, sheathing her rapiers.

This would be their magic. Get a fantabulous magical aura around themselves and then they can actually do something that matters. Still their strength wasn't godly strong and they can't move at the speed of light. Alexis could still beat them. The only thing was that now she would be forced to actually try against these two. Her two opponents still had their auras going and were coming at her again with their spears angled so that they appeared to be mirror images of each other. Waiting until the ends of their spears was about seven feet away, Alexis quickly drew out her guns and aimed them at the dark mages chests. It stopped them in their tracks as they were fast, but not fast enough to get away from a bullet. Now Alexis had every intention of shooting them to end the fight, but in the chest would be too dangerous and go against her conscious. Instead she aimed a little lower and shot them in their guts. One bullet exited each gun and in seconds the two were on the ground, flinched up in pain. A satisfied grin on her face she holstered her guns, having handled her situation quite well. Now two were down and it seemed like Kazuya's two were down as well; all that was left to do was go and check out the source of the tremors.

Oberon watched and smirked as the other mage quickly changed into his take one form most likely as he shot off two four ft. high walls of steel coming at him from both sides, "That works too i guess" Yang said into his head in a kind of malicious manner. Obeorn sighed he was kind of hoping for more of a challenge all though any bigger of one and he would most likely just be annihilated at once. He shrugged and smirked as the two walls of steel rushed to squish the mage like a tube of toothpaste. However it was not to be, "God damn it" Yang said annoyed again. Oberon shared the flame demons frustration as Takashi simply stepped back and out of the way of the two walls of steel coming at him. There was a smirk on his have as well as he was simply toying with them now as even though he was extremely bored he still managed to have enough attention to avoid the two walls of steel.

"Is that really all you can muster, i was hoping for more of a challen`"

However the explosion mage was cut off as a 'twang' was hurt followed by the cutting of air as a strange arrow sipped down to hit the unsuspecting Takashi causing an explosion of wind that quickly knocked the unsuspecting man off balance by some sort of guardian angel. "Now!" Yin yelled into the head of Oberon who was watching this all unfold before him. He had a big chance to end this guy right here and now! He grinned as he practically jumped up before quickly moving over to the daze Takashi and bringing his leg back before rapidly swinging it forward as the daze mage tried to get up. He made sure not to hit him too hard, only too stun him and knock him out. "Damn, too hard, so much for questioning him" he said rubbing the back of his neck after re thinking what he had just done. Perhaps kicking the man in the head while he was dazed from an explosion wasn't such a bad idea, "really? you don't think so?" Yin said in his mind in a rather sarcastic tone.

Takashi groaned as Obeorn knelt down to check his pulse. He was breathing and luckily he hadn't broken his neck, although the thought had crossed his mind. He then looked up at the guardian angel who had shot the wind arrow down at Takashi only to find a blonde haired boy. "Damn, its a blonde, tell him you rename slowly" Yang said causing a laugh out of Yin although it felt more like a chuckle to him. Oberon couldn't help but grin, Yang was the king of dumb blonde jokes although there were only a few that he felt were good enough to be said in public as the rest would get him a knuckle sandwich right in the teeth. Who was this guy anyways? Was he some kind of mage? It was likely as that arrow had exploded with wind magic causing the explosion mage's defeat. Although that really was not important right now unlike what was going on in the town itself.

"I don't think i've introduced myself, I'm Oberon Led Zepplin, take over extraordinare!" He said with a slight flourish of his hands to emphasize his introduction although he was actually rather tired.

He then sat down on the edge of the building and gave a bit of a hesitant look to the blonde haired boy nearby. He didn't expect them to give up their names so easily, after all these were rather unfortunate circumstances that they had been forced into. What should they do next though? It was only a matter of time until the water got high enough to engulf the whole city and by then it would all be too late! Obeorn growled, as much as he hated to say it he had no choice but to help in saving the city at risk of getting himself killed for no good reason. "By chance you wouldn't happen to be able to fly can you? I'm afraid that i can't swim due to my er....wings. Anyways we better do something to stop this place from sinking or there might be a new city of Atlantis where we are standing!" Obeorn said to the mage that was obviously of the take-over variety. Although his magic seemed to focus on metal the most, the winged demon frowned at this. Obeorn's forms were more based around the elements so that he could adapt to what he was fighting against due to their element that they had.

"I suppose that all the action is at the town center, mind tagging a long? If you can tell, i'm not exactly the most strongest mage in the world, although i try and tell myself that sometimes" He said with a slight smile on his face at his own little insult against himself.

Blitz cursed slightly as his metallic pincer move ended in failure, the two metallic fists simply clanging into each other and bouncing off with a crash of steel and a flurried burst of sparks like a firework. The explosion mage didn't get a chance to finish whatever taunt he'd been about to make, however, as the other Takeover mage took the opportunity to fire some sort of arrow that released a wild burst of wind when it struck the mage, forcing him back a few steps. Was it enchanted, maybe? he thought. Or maybe the arrow itself was some spell of his own making.

In any case, the other Takeover mage too the chance to rush down and whack the explosion mage across the head with a kick while he was still recovering from the backlash of the wind arrow, knocking him out cold. Blitz let his form return to normal, hopping down on a few broken patches of rooftop to reach the unconscious mage, glad to see he was still breathing, if out cold. The other Takeover mage was staring at something, so Blitz peeked around him to see what the big deal was, and was surprised to find a blonde haired stranger standing higher up. Was that the guy who fired that arrow? Blitz thought. I admit that the wind arrows didn't seem to match the green and black flame thing much, but it had to have come from somewhere - here was their explanation.

As Oberon introduced himself, Blitz did as well. "And my name is Blitz, Blitz Ranfen, it's nice to meet you." The timing had been handy, but saying thanks for the help wasn't something he liked to voice aloud in a combat situation - never looked good on the record in the aftermath. Oberon then turned to Blitz, inquiring as to his forms. "Sorry, I'm afraid I don't have a flight or swimming form. Yet, anyway," he said with a shrug. "Guess we'll have to hoof it the old fashioned way over to the chains to see what's up."

Sinjin felt not the slightest bit of relief after watching the enemy go down. Even if it was the other guy who struck the final blow, it was enough to watch the enemy go down. Still, the youth felt anger churning inside him. He knew that he couldn’t let the rest of those attacking mages off so quickly. He exchanged glances with the other two mages from afar, whom he helped for a moment before he turned over. He really wasn’t in the mood for pleasantries, even if they weren’t the same with those Raven Tail attackers. For now, Sinjin had bigger priorities at stake, which was to go and look for the rest of those fiends and deal with them. Even if he hasn’t proven himself to be the strongest there is, he was definitely down on the idea of defending his city.

He ran across the roof and jumped from the edge, ignoring the other two’s conversation. Though the names somehow stuck to his head, and one particular mage’s name was familiar to him, he didn’t have the time to waste with them. He jumped from roof to roof, looking below at each interval to see if the flooding continued and became worse. He had to reach the center of the Coreopsis soon and find a way to stop whatever it was that was creating such strife within his new home. In fact, he was betting that those odd green lights that shone towards the sky had a thing to do with it. So he hurried like a man on a mission, even if that metaphor was somehow far from what he really was like.

Jumping off the edge of the last of the roofs laid next to each other, Sinjin braced himself as he reached out a hand to catch a nearby post. He wrapped his arms around it as soon as he felt the cold steel on his palm and he spiraled along the way as he slid down. He kicked off from the post as soon as he neared the bottom and ended up landing on thigh-high water spreading across the street. The flooding was getting worse and he needed to act and do something about it. He waded through the water, looking about him until he caught sight of what seemed to be a mage destroying public property using his element-imbued weapon. “Die, Tartaros scum! Raven Tail will surely-“

Unfortunately, the unsuspecting mage didn’t get to finish his statement when a sharp blood blade was thrust from behind, piercing through the back and through his chest. He grunted for a moment and moved to slash with his weapon. Sinjin ducked as he pulled out the blood blade, and as soon as the man turned to face him, he slashed his blood blade upward, slicing the front of the enemy before raising his right arm with Rem Carmadon and pulling the trigger, sending an unenchanted yet piercing bolt darting straight to the head and ending the man’s life.

Indeed, there are certain things that could trigger Sinjin’s insanity to draw blood from the enemy, and most of the time it were trivial reasons. Nonetheless, the golden haired youth quickly turned around and proceeded to walk along the flooded streets, heading for the city center, unphased by what he had just done. Then again, a meager low rank mage opponent wasn’t something to fuss over. And as he walked, his left arm would be decorated with the blood blade sticking out from it, ready to slice and spill into the water, while his right arm was equipped with Rem Carmadon, of which he placed another bolt, ready to shoot out again.
