The blond couldn’t help but scratch his head in confusion, it seemed that the pair had a mutual disliking for each other, although the blond couldn’t quite tell why exactly she disliked him, aside from the fact that he did say he would attack her if she killed those civilians. Never the less, the fact that Alastor called her his “apprentice” both piqued his interest and made him give off a large sigh, who would have thought that Alastor, an individual who Rayleigh was quite fond of, was the Master of such an uncouth female. “Well, I’m not exactly sure why she hates me, but I suppose it all started in a hotel somewhere, we were having a beach party…and it looked like she was drowning in the water, so naturally I went to save her…”, Explained the blond, who also rubbed in chin as he tried to recall each intricate detail of that past experience “…well, as I saved her, I suppose I was out of breath, I suppose it could have something to do with the fact that I had to carry both the fully grown girl and her dog, so naturally I would have been out of breath, however, she took it as a sign that made her believe I was going to call her overweight, and I suppose that’s what sparked that dislike”, The blond continued as if he was an encyclopaedia “Also, I suppose in her insinuated anger, she decided to vent out her rage on the civilians, by commanding them to go drown themselves in the beach water, and well I suppose that’s when I started to dislike her and her well, evil stance?” The blond seemed to have winded himself out with his long speech, it would have been a surprise if the people who were listening to him weren’t as winded as he was just to try and take in all the details. “In any case, I know she did it for a joke, so I suppose I can forgive her, however, only if she forgives me…for something I supposedly did”, muttered the blond in quite a strained voice, looked as though talking for long periods of times had its detrimental effects too. The blond couldn’t help but stare at Alastor, who was just as goofy as he was that while ago when they just met, though, he couldn’t be happier to see him again; after all, he is a mage from fairy tail, the guild he would like to join sometime in the near future…if he could even find magnolia, which seems to jump around from place to place, well, to him at least, in reality, it just seems that his mind wandering often cause him to miss crucial exit paths and end up taking him to some place completely different. Before the blond could say anything else, he heard a piercing scream that appeared to have come from some lunatic, and sure enough, it looked like Alastor noticed it too, suggesting that both he and the crazy woman stay together with the shadow mage, to help minimize casualties, although the blond wasn’t quite up for it, he didn’t have much of a choice, and besides, its much better to stay in groups then to clash with the dark guilds without so much as back up. “Very well, in that case lets do this!” |

//OOC: if i missed any dark mage attacking please PM me, my brain is a bit blarghy so i may have missed something XD// Alastor was hit by a major suprise as Excel completely misunderstood what he said, thinking he had somehow demoted her? Excel seeming to get all rilled up for something as little as a word, Alastor being quite simple when it came to these things were astonished by it though he knew Excels personality so he was okay with it, plus he knew how to make her happy again, hugging her and giving her a big kiss before speaking with a smile "sure you are, silly~, I said appritence so he would know how big a place you got with me~ besides aren't i your master??" He asked giggling before he decided to give Ray a chance to explain himself, as well as hear his side of the story, he really wanted to understand why the two didn't get along, he didn't like friends fighting. yesch not a good story, but he knew even Ray sounding like a encyclopedia had to be taking some out of context, "guess we all got our demons to fight huh?" Alastor spoke, knowing Ray had seem him go... Less than pretty when he had gotten a bit... Tipsy, Shadow being a bit annoyed being demoted in his eyes to demon "oh not you too you know what i meant with that!" Alastor said to him, Shadow quickly settling down inside agreeing. "Excel im sure you had your reasons, if you want to explain them i would like to hear it, and i want you to know, we all have times when we do something that was maybe not as nice as we meant it. Admitting a mistake takes more strenght than beating any foe, trust me" He spoke trying to make sure she understood that he supported her and liked her and wasn't going to have to forgive her since there was nothing to forgive in his mind. Looking back at Ray he smiled and said "if you two can work out, our chances of success will rise haha" Excel seeming worried, Alastor hugging her again "I promised I'd protect you, I value promises alot, I will protect you with my life Excel!" He said reassuring, feeling secure that at any second know someone was going to attack them. |

Excel blinked and giggled as Alastor hugged and kissed her, she kissing back lovingly before they broke away and he explained himself. Excel listened and processed his words, she nodding and smiling. Yes! Master Alastor is Excel's master and Excel will be forever loyal! She then looked back and Rayleigh as he explained why he didn't like her, she pouting a bit. The male completely misunderstood Excel. Typical. Hate what you don't understand. Excel sighed softly and leaned against Alastor as he took his turn to speak again. Her attention was off elsewhere until Alastor addressed her, imlporing her subtly to explain her past actions. Well Excel was surrounded by tasteless women and Excel doesn't like those sorts, so Excel just wanted them to go away....Excel hypnotized them and decided to have fun and make Ray-Ray here think that Excel was making the floozies go die. Master Alastor, you know my old magic couldn't make people kill themselves. Excel was just having fun. Harmless fun. Excel isn't bad! Excel was bored! Excel pouted a little and looked at Rayleigh again, she sighing a little while a strange feeling overwhelmed her. She heard screaming that sounded like someone being attacked, the sound frightening the weak voodoo apprentice even more. Then Alastor hugged her, her fear melting away. She nodded and hugged him back, happy to know that he was still going to protect her. She knew something was about to go down. She could feel it in her right pinky toe. Don't ask how or why.. |

That was just the exact kind of response she expected from Kazuya too. He was always joking about things, say that it's the dark mages that should be afraid here and not her. If Alexis had to guess she would say that Kazuya was just being L-A-Z-Y lazy. He just couldn't be bothered to actually go and look for her. True he was right about her going and window shopping, but really who could resist the allure of high fashion? Besides that was neither here nor there, as in reality the point was that Kauzya was too lazy to go and look for his comrade even in a situation such as this, the dark mages running around supposedly. Though if she was to put herself in his shoes, Alexis wasn't sure she would go out and look for Kazuya. Men of his type usually got distracted by fashion far more then girls and it was best to let boys be boys from time to time. Her fellow knight was right when he said that they had been in this city for a bit and nothing has happened. The little rumors had attracted some of the best and strongest knights that Fiore had to offer and to lock them away on a floating city while havoc erupts in other cities was... actually a diabolically genius plan. Yes, it was awful because people would die and all that jazz, but really to be able to plan and pull off a large scale capture like this was really something to be admired. Of course once they found a way out and over to the sinister person everyone would deserve to get in one free punch before beating him to a pulp. Why? Well he did start up chaos in other places and trapping people on floating cites was just overly rude. Back to the point at hand, it was a little convenient that the knights, and from the looks of it a number of light guilds, received word about this dark guild invasion. In the past it took crack teams of spies and decoders to decipher messages on far simpler topics between dark guilds, but this thing about a war between them was fairly easy to hear about. Maybe it was because so many dark mages were involved that the few with loose lips would certianly spill the beans on this important event. Whether it was a trap for them or there really was going to be an all out dark guild rumble, they were still on duty and had to go out on patrol. Kazuya lead the way and she followed him, southward. Patrolling just meant, to Alexis at least, go people watching. People watching was a very simple game in which people walked by and you give them a little story, often meant to be funny, of where they are going and why. One man walked by, blonde hair short and spiky, and Alexis did a little narration in her head. Time? I don't know what time is anymore. Ever since.... the accident my life has been moving at a faster pace. Things around me blur and even though I know I'm just walking it feels like I'm moving at the speed of light. This distortion in my head makes it hard... hard to run from those who want to capture me. I feel as though I can leap up to the heavens and hop from one planet to the next. If only I could go back to my own place, my own time. Then, maybe, I could live in peace and not be know as... The Timewalker. Alexis got a grin on her face. This little story was often amusing to herself as it was entirely a stream of consciousness kind of thinking. For her to develop some kind of story for him in the ten seconds she saw him walk past her was a little accomplishment for her. Though she probably should be looking out for suspicious characters, and to a degree she was, but looking for people who didn't want to be noticed required more effort then she really wanted to give. The only reason she kept looking, with the small breaks for people watching every now and again, was because the goal of being a successful knight was driven into her by her family. Their casual patrol had lead them into a neighborhood. A residential area would be a good place to start the first attack, especially if causalities was something that dark guilds were aiming for. The houses lined the streets with different colored brick exteriors that were close to the sidewalk so that once someone opened their door, and walked down the two or three steps, they were there in the small crowd of people walking along. The place looked a bit homey. Alexis could see living here, though that was kinda biased since she really just wanted a quick commute to the shopping district, but the homes seemed lovely. "These houses look really cute; don't they Kazuya?" The sconces just next to the doors added onto the charm that all the exteriors seemed to have. Something about a home could really resonate with something in a person and for some reason or another Alexis had a special feeling for all the homes here. The only flaw with the area would have to be the view. There was a giant sign in the area. She could read it from where she was, though it was quite the walk to actually get under it. The sign had something to do with visiting the lakes that the city had. Alexis couldn't even take what it had to say into her mind as the sign itself was just an eyesore. No doubt people used it as a landmark for letting other people know of a place they could meet up, but honestly if it was to be replaced by say.... a ruby statue of a giraffe then that would work out as well. It would certainly look better and even more certainly attract tourists. So then this residential area would grow and be more charming and the shopping district would grow and have more shops. Everyone wins. |

Blitz waved his arms, snapped his fingers in front of the guys' face, nothing. Not one reaction. Sighing deeply, he rubbed his brow with the heel of his right palm, thinking briefly. The guy seemed like a good match up in terms of skill, but if he wasn't going to respond to any of Blitz's attempts to get his attention, he was better off exploring elsewhere and keeping an eye out for anything suspicious-looking. Walking back to the door, he paused, thinking briefly once again. Walking slowly to the edge, he glanced down at the lakes - doing a cannonball from this high up was mighty tempting, but he didn't like the idea of having to scrap the green algae gunk off of his clothes after he landed. Instead, he moved to the front of the clocktower balcony, peering down the front of it to see the giant hands of the clock turning ever so slowly beneath him. An idea forming, as it was close to the end of the hour, he backed up on the platform, then ran and jumped, leaping off the top of the clocktower and grabbing the minute hand on his way down, also transforming into his Double Knuckle Takeover form to increase his weight. As the minute hand swung backwards from the momentum and weight, Blitz released his hands from his wrists, thick chains connecting the two, swinging down from the clocktower Tarzan-style, resisting the temptation to yell like he did as he let go near the ground and skidded to a noisy halt in the middle of the square, sparks flying up briefly from his landing. Alright, now what? he thought, glancing around for something to do as he transformed back to normal. |

Therius slowly made his way down the street in Coreopsis, though he wasn’t here to check out the amazing floating city, as much he would have liked the chance to. Tensions were running high between the Dark Guilds, or so the rumours went, though from the number of Knights and Guild mages deployed they might be a bit more than rumours, the blond in Coreopsis because of the presence of the Tartaros Guild; Quatro Cerberus and presumably the other guilds not wishing to be blind sighted if there was an attack. Though not technically a guild member yet, Quatro Cerberus was short members to send after sending mages to Trillium and Acacia, and the guild was something like a home to him now, so he was glad to accept the request. So here Therius was, patrolling the streets looking for…nothing at the moment. In nothing more than a black t-shirt and navy cargo pants, he probably didn’t look particularly threatening, though if anything did happen he was ready call forth armour and weapons to defend himself. However, at least for now that would seem unnecessary, nothing interesting happening so far…well except for some apparent mad man shouting as he flew through the sky. With a slightly puzzled look Therius would look up at the sky before continuing on his way. “Some mages…” |

[[OOC: You may NPC the D-Rank Mages freely for the moment.]] It was time. Throughout the city the mages of Raven Tail had been moving calmly, preparing their part to break what remained of the Balam Alliance and taking up positions to best begin their coordinated attack as one. The unsuspecting fools of this town had no idea what was going to happen to them shortly, the Light Mages and Dark Mages both and at each corner of the city a single man stood still, staring upwards, one arm raised and awaiting the master signal from the lone woman who stood alone in the center square of this city. It was a beautiful place, suspended on bridges as it was, and they would bring it all crashing down, hence the placement of them all. One mage in each corner and one in the center ready to shatter the lines of chains that held the city up. This would not be a trial by fire, it would be one by water. From the upraised hand of a beautiful yet intimidating woman a large green beam shot into the sky, the signal to begin, a signal that would be understood by all of the other mages in Raven Tail. They were to attack, en masse and at random all around the city, setting fire to shops, breaking things and otherwise killing and maiming wherever they went. The five A-Ranked Mages would be busy for now, this woman the first of them, activating the 6' wide beam of green light that shot a full mile up into the sky, blazing all around for everyone to see. As she did so four more beams shot up, one from each corner and each from a hand of a man deployed there, the other four A-Ranked Mages of Raven Tail. They were beginning, the men firing their beams only for a moment before turning and sending their own, specially chosen magics into the ground below them, preparing their sabotage. And in one movement, the entire city shifted. Yes, the whole thing, literally everyone there would be jolted slightly as it shook ever-so-slightly, as though a minor earthquake had passed through it. But a moment later the shaking would be a little worse, then a little worse again until, without warning, several bridges began to snap, shatter and break, an entire central neighbourhood beginning to sink without warning into the lakes below. Coreopsis would be drowned, here and now, and as the five A-Ranked Mages began to sabotage the foundations of this city, breaking the chains and supports holding it up in four different ways, that large ominous green beacon continued to shine brightly in the center of the city, the woman there the only one unaffected by the slowly sinking city, and as water began to lap ever-so-slightly around the feet of everyone here, things were beginning to get serious... |

As Yahma made her way over to Ryo he would not move, knowing her classic greating. Letting her vent for a moment, he understood her upset with him leaving her behind while he trained. However it some thing needed as he had further mastered his swordmanship. The same swordmanship that could only exsist and create a path for RYo to become the strongest swordsman in Fiore one day. Thus he needed to make sure it was perfect flawless in the sense of his own being as he so named it 'Hasaki style swordmanship'. The Hasaki style would carry Ryo even further then his current limits with his poor and little knowledge of real magic but merge swordmanship and magic together let him get to a whole new level. A level that would be needed for the current threat. " Sorry bout that Yahama " he would tell her with a light smirk. " I promise you that dinner, no worries " he would say seeming to ignore the last bit of what she had to say, as the city shift slightly. Surely Yahama would feel it first but Ryo's own sense of trouble was brewing. As a moment later a few parts of the city would plummit to the lakes below as a green beam of light as if a beacon signaled the chaos. " Who..." Ryo would say quickly tightening his grip on his chainsaw blade and looking around. No sooner then he could turn his head however there was 5 D-rank mages charging at Ryo and Yahama. Sadly for Ryo, he was a large target due to the fact he was the ace rookie, he did just fly across the sky and lastly because he wore the tartaros symbol on his back. As it seemed the mages thoguht they would catch Yahama and Ryo off guard while the city started to fall apart from the attack they couldn't have been more wrong. The city starting to fall apart didn't confuse Ryo, but anger him. His home was under attack and that meant no one would be safe from his wrath. As the 5 D-rank mages got close trying to end Ryo and Yahama quickly giving them no room to evade any attacks. Ryo would dash at them head on. As soon as enough space was between him and Yahama which only gave him about a meter from the 5 mages Ryo would bring his chainsaw blade around grinding against the ground. THe mages would raise there hands to start casting spells at Ryo however Ryo's magic circle was already up. A wyvern made of flame would spin around Ryo soaring upward in a tight spiral creating a twister of flames that would catch all five of the mages in it and pushing them upwards in a burning torrent of hellish burns. As tornado released them Ryo would hold his blade in front of himself. " Hasaki style swordmanship:Wyvern Twister" He would say alloud before noticing one of the mages was still moving as he bouced of the ground and was try to get up. Ryo wasted no time and quickly smashed him back into the ground with his giant chainsaw blade. Not even starting it Ryo intended to get information quickly from the gravely wounded man. " Who are you? " Is all Ryo would say slowly lifting his blade upward. His eyes were cold but filled with a deadly killing intent. The dying man would groan as the blade was lifted and pass out. It seemed Ryo trully wasn't holding back a single bit as these men were just annailated with one of Ryo's strongest area attacks with his greatest weapon. |

OoC The patrol would be going decently for a short while. Many other knights and from what Nyke could see, light mages, were scrambling about and moving. Not wide destruction had occurred, only a few things here and there that would be handled before she got a chance to. Nyke almost felt as if there were just too many people within the city for everyone to be helping someone. But this was not a bad thing. This was great because that meant it was possible that things would not go as badly as she was briefed on. That was until the whole city suffered an earthquake of sorts. But this wasn't truly a quake, just a shifting of the entire city. It would be something that proved problematic for everyone that lived within its walls. The biggest threats were the lakes below. The water from them would rush into the falling edges of the city and the place would drown. It was something that must be stopped. So, making haste, Nyke made her way to the most sunken edge where the water was beginning to creep and rush into the streets. And while she couldn't really do it alone, Nyke knew that if she started, others would come and help. Reaching the first site, Nyke would use the gauntlet she received from her hated father once more. It absorbed and expelled heat. And heat taken from water, even while it was moving, would freeze it where it was. Sure, she wouldn’t be able to cover all the streets, but Nyke would be able to protect this one. So taking a stance and holding the gauntlet forward, she absorbed what heat the oncoming water would have can froze the water, hoping to make a barrier of sorts. Summary here too

"What the hell was that?" Oberon whispered as he felt a shudder go through the building causing him to twinge slightly. "How should i know? Were stuck in a clothing store!" Yang said in an annoyed tone as he observed the pair of undergarments hanging from the wall. It was true that it was probably nothing but then again Coreopsis was a floating city not count by tectonic plates which mean that, "This wasn't natural" Yin said in a realizing tone. There was some silence in the cramped changing room before Yin spoke once more, "We need to get out of here" he said in a firm an commanding voice, however the black winged boy could tell that there was a sense of nervousness to it. "and face those knights that want to arrest me and brin gem in to their little labs? I don't think so" Obeorn sauntered only then though did he feel another tremor go through the earth this one stronger then the first. Two minor earthquakes in a row? That couldn't be just a coincidence. "Exactly so then we should-" Yin began but his mind was cut off as there was much larger shake that couldn't be a coincidence that caused him to fall out of his seat. "I'm going i'm going!" He yelled as he practically kicked the door off its hinges as he exited the mens changing room. He shoved a patron out of his way as he made his way quickly through the store. It was a bit difficult as many of the people were trying to get out there selves to see what on earth was going on! Obeorn managed to make his way through though and broke out into the street. He frowned as he felt his foot step in what appeared to be a puddle. He looked down and could see that most of the street was flooded slightly. His eyes widened as he looked around the panicked city seeing that there was great chaos caused by this. It was now that the black winged boy noticed a green ball of light floating in the sky. "Raven Tail? Or Tartaros?" Yang asked. Oberon sighed as he explained it to him, "Raven Tail, why would Tartaros drown their own city? And that is what they intend to do, just drown everybody! Us along with it" Oberon said with a slightly scared edge in his tone. Oberon unfortunately couldn't semi, "WHAT! What the hell do you mean you can't swim! how will we survive!" Yin said as he recoiled in shock from what the winged boy had just said. "Its true my wings make it near impossible for me to swim" He said frowning. He had to get someplace high so that he could get a better vantage point. Oberon ran amongst the crowd as he struggled to reach where the clock tower could be found. This area unfortunately was actually quite desolate as the crowds must have tried to reach the bridges instead of getting someplace high. Better for him, he would quickly realize however that he was in fact not alone. Standing a bit of a ways away from him was a rather strange looking man who was by no doubt a mage as there was a slight magical ability to him that cautioned Obeorn from coming closer. Was he light or dark? It didn't matter in fact because he did not take much notice of him for good or worse. Obeorn cautiously crept around the side of a street trying to not raise suspicion. The water level was rising ever so slightly as the city began to sink. Obeorn swore and wished that he knew how to fly. He looked around before spotting an emergency fire escape on the side of an apartment building of some kind. "Run forest run!" Yang yelled as Obeorn sprinted for the ladder. He jumped up barely grabbing the bottom ladder and pulling it down. Fate was showing a kinder gesture after all. Oberon smiled as he climbed up the ladder on the side of the building. there was about maybe at least seven stories to the building as it was fairly large along with the other buildings nearby. Downtown Coreopsis was big but most of it was bout to get flooded. He pulled himself over the edge of the top as he lied down on the gravel of the flat roofed building. He sighed catching his breath letting the calmness and safety overwhelm him for a second. He shook his head and got up from his prone position. He looked around the rooftops to see no one around surprisingly except another party that had his idea as well apparently a little ways away. Then there was that mage {BLITZ} in the plaza, he was unaware of the situation. He swore knowing it was against his creed but right now he needed someone to stick close to and watch his back. "Hey you! I would get somewhere high the whole city is flooding! Theres a fire escape over here if you want you can come with me!" He yelled down at the man and anyone who happened to be in the plaza at the moment. Shit, so much for just taking it easy.... Sumary (for those of you to lazy to read my post :P)
