The Ace of Tartaros
![]()
|
As the busy city was on edge as many factions and onlookers awaiting for something to just shift slightly that would unleash the hell. Silence and a strange calm fell on the city as everyone was smiling or just looking around with a nuetral look, but everyone had the same idea in mind. When would the mages start fighting? when would the bold Raven Tail attack the vicious Tartaros. Truthfully...who knew when it would happen at this rate! Breaking the silence the words. "IIIIIIIIIIIIIII"MMMMMM BBBBAAACCCKKKK " would shatter the silence and peace of the city. However it was no Raven Tail mage proclaiming there guilds honor. A man seeming to be flying in the sky emiting flames from his feet shot through the sky towards the guild. " DIIIDDD Y'AAALLL MISSS ME!!!" the man screamed his words echoing through many parts of town. A few would know this voice,a voice of hope, a voice of companionship, a voice of battle, a voice that stired anger. Ryo would land in a empty plaza a block away from the bridge leading to the guild hall. There he would set himself up. Smashing his chainsaw blade into the ground and holding it to his side. He had changed his attire some for this war it seemed he changed his hoari in for a yukata with blue swirls on th ends and sleeves, but still boar a black tartaros symbol on the back. He had calf high combat boots, that he tucked his black thick leather pants into. Under his yukata he now had a collared black short-sleeve shirt with a red rimmed collar. His key shaped necklace still dangled from his neck and swords litters his waist. Edited by Hasaki Ryo, Oct 9 2011, 05:43 AM.

Shadow had to admit he enjoyed the hug they shared as he silently sighed, though not letting it get awkward or too long lasting as he broke from it, Alastors comment hitting his pride as he let Excel grab his attention to act like it never had happened. Shadow watching the snake she was able to bring forth, cute little pet in his eyes, just as a pet should be, beautiful and dangerous yet available on your whim. Excel really taking the compliment very well as he got another hug and a kiss, kissing back and giggling loudly, they tended to be very hyper active when together, well Excel seeming to always be a very energetic induvidual but they had alot of fun. "I'm glad you like it! Its a big privelige to become a witch doctor, not everyone can do it. I'm very proud of you!" Alastor spoke back, the whole master thing was beginning to cling nicely to his ego, since, well he technically was her master, guru, instructor, mentor, teacher or what other word there was to be used. So it wasn't like it was just thrown out there anyways. Suddenly a familiar sounding voice hit Alastors ears, though his braincells was on a rampage to find the paper on who it was, it wasn't until he heard Excel he remembered it, and it seemed Excel wasn't too fond of him, Alastor laughing "whats wrong with Ray? He is a good guy Excel" Alastor spoke not at all getting why she was being so, disliking of Ray, feeling a bit split between two friends, Excel of course being a very -very- good friend but still he didn't like it when two friends didn't get along well. "Say Ray any clue as to why my apprentice don't like you?" Alastor asked giggling, the title apprentice seeming fairly appropriate, she was still young. Though she was reaching a point that he had had when he went out for his own. Either ways he kind of wanted both of their stories to know what had been going on. At the same moment it seemed that some lunatic were screaming at the top of his lungs, seeming to be ready to fight whatever rabble would come at him, Alastor sighing and saying "i guess we dont have much time before it begins huh? We should stick close, that way theres less of a chance of any of us getting hurt" he said smiling at Excel, hoping she would trust her masters jugdment. |

Excel pouted when Alastor seemed to defend the mean slut protector. She huffed and hugged Alastor again, her emerald stare locked on Rayleigh. She heard Alastor ask him why he disliked his apprentice. Apprentice? But Master Alastor! Excel is your love slave! We established that when we went camping! She pouted a little and let Alastour go. She was just a student to him. That's all he saw her as, which disappointed the lovesick girl. She sighed a little and even started to cry a little, but a voice echoing throughout the city seemed to stop the waterworks. Her eyes widened. She didn't catch what the voice said, but it sounded like a call to arms. She tensed and sent Menchi to go hide while she looked at Alastor, a hint of fear in her eyes. The war was on the brink of starting, and Excel would most likely die if caught in the midst of war. Despite how Alastor saw her, she stayed close. She felt undying loyalty and, unknown currently to her, a crazy little thing called love. She glanced at Rayleigh again and gave him a sharp glare before turning back to Alastor. Master Alastor? You are still going to protect Excel, right? She wasn't sure of anything anymore except that chaos was afoot and she was too weak to do anything. |

SUNSET/RAVENDARK Where was Kishu? Well that was something Ecclair Farron Bellum wanted the answer to and she wasn’t letting Aiden Vakarian go anywhere until he answered that very question of hers, but in the meantime not all too far away from where the two knights stood that very bundle of yellow fluff was quite busy with a plan of his own. Kishu might look simple or innocent but he was quite the intelligent bird regardless, he knew from his time with Ecclair that she beat up bad guys and he also knew that there was bad guys to be beaten up by her on that very day. Sure he had been told to stay with Aiden and make sure he didn’t get lost but he had spotted someone suspicious and so like the Time passed and the little ball of yellow’s target finally stopped on a bridge, this was his chance to strike! But how to do it? Should he just fly up and start with the eyeballs? No that was too cliché even for his liking…hmmmm. As the thought cogs turned within the little birds mind he fluffed himself up with courage and to make himself look even more adorable of course before slowly waddling out along the ground towards the man he would make eat dirt very soon. If he had been any cuter it would have been illegal and it was obvious as he stopped at the man’s feet that he wasn’t the only one that thought so, with a little chirp and cute and endearing stare the little bird had managed to get picked up and put onto the man’s unguarded head without a hiccup. Oh how devious this little baby chocobo was, he was already in a position to unleash some havoc. Kishu made himself comfortable on the man’s head as he listened to him talking about finding his ‘mummy’, well now if Kishu could have burst into laughter that would have done it. Finding his ‘mummy’ was the last thing that this man wanted, Ecclair would have beat him into the ground for even touching her precious Kishuragi and it would have been much worse then what the little bird himself was going to do to him that was for sure. Shortly after having picked him up the strange man was off and walking while still muttering about finding Kishu’s mother, but Kishu himself wasn’t listening in the slightest for you see he was thinking about what to do first. Should he go for the jugular like Ecclair had always told him to when in danger or should he just do what seemed to be instincts and go for the eyes instead? Oh the choices were just too innumerable for the little fellow to decide from, closing his eyes and just deciding to go with instinct the little ball of fluff started shuffling it’s way forward into the man’s hair. His nails gripped onto clumps of hair as he moved so as not to fall and so as not to be knocked off once the man’s first eyeball had been poked like a sausage on a barbecue grill, the little bird’s head slowly started to peer over the man’s forehead and it wouldn’t take long before his own little face would be visible with both black eyes staring into the man’s own. Yes, you guessed it the tiny bird was using the clumps of hair in his feet’s grip to hang from like rope as he lined himself up with the eyes he would be hurting ever so shortly. With a cute tilt of his head to seal the deal Kishu promptly lashed out with that speed that he had straight at the man’s left eyeball and then to his right, sure there was a chance that he might somehow block one of the strikes Kishu delivered but both? Surely not, not from a bird as fast as Kishuragi anyway. With the eyes now injured and his target weakened Kishu knew it was time to step things up a notch, this man’s scalp was never going to feel the same when this bundle of yellow was done with it that was for sure. Pulling himself back onto the man’s head with his feet and the hair within them Kishu’s wings flapped slightly to help him up before his head started to lunge towards the man’s scalp with as much strength and speed as he could muster, yeah that was right he was pecking the crap out of this guy’s head. Although Kishu didn’t have much strength to speak of he had speed and we all know that being pecked on the same spot a lot of times would be bound to hurt and cause some bleeding right? Oh yes this mage would learn not to just pick up other people’s pets that was for sure, Kishu had a whole lot more in store for this one. Edited by Lightning, Oct 8 2011, 09:54 PM.

Where was Kishu? Now, that was a pretty good question. Not too long ago, Aiden was quite sure that he had Kishu sitting either on top of his head or was lounging about within an inner pocket of his coat, staying warm and fuzzy like he often did. When he was on Aiden's head, the knight truly couldn't even tell. The thing was just so tiny and light that he was almost like air. Thankfully, there wasn't all that much of a breeze, lest he would be blown off or something of the sort. However, Aiden was in a bit of a predicament here. The baby chocobo Kishu was gone, and Aiden was quite sure that Ecclair wouldn't be all too happy about that. He was ready to run if necessary. Aiden could probably stand to take a lot of hits sure, but it would certainly be more than a little bit troublesome. So, in order to stall for time and figure out where Kishu could possibly be Aiden said the first thing to came in mind. "Oh? Kishu?" Aiden said, almost a little hesitantly but he still held that casual, nonchalant tone of voice and manner of speaking that he ordinarily spoke with that made it impossible to discern any hesitation. "...I ate him." To further drive the point home, Aiden had idly used the dango skewer he was chewing on as a toothpick. Of course, this was all bullshitting until he could remember where he could have possibly gone off to. Thankfully, it actually worked. Aiden had the vaguest idea where the little bird could be. Now, the little guy couldn't be too far away. He could be a little mischievous at times sure, but he was tiny and had tiny legs and wings. He shouldn't be outside of their general area for sure. Aiden thought about it a little more before a metaphorical light bulb flashed above his head as the realization dawned on him. Not too long ago, out of the corner of his eye, Aiden scarcely recalled singing something yellow off to the side. It didn't strike him as being too important at the time, but it was obviously Kishu. At the time, he thought it was like a random-ass lemon on the side of the road or something. The point being, he didn't pay much attention to it then. But now that he remembered it was a pretty important detail. So, now all they had to do was go ahead and find him. "He's not too far from here, actually," Aiden said to her, gesturing for Ecclair to follow. "Let's go find 'em." Easier said than done, right? In actuality, it wasn't too hard. Thankfully, Kishu hadn't ended up wandering too far away. The little ball of fluff had been on some road, or at least that's where Aiden recalled seeing a vague flash of yellow awhile back. Aiden lead the way, walking down along the road where he figured Kishu to be, but when he wasn't there he went down along a bridge. There, Aiden curiously watched someone picking up the tiny little bird. At first, Aiden sought to intervene there, however he wanted to see how this panned out. Aiden was quite glad he did for a short moment, as he was presented with an absolutely amusing sight. The little bird, after having been picked up by the person, hopped on top of his head and unleashed a fluffy furied frenzy, going essentially apeshit (or perhaps birdshit) and pecking the ever-living crap out of his scalp. Of course, before this all happened it was pecking towards the guy's eyes for whatever reason. Ordinarily, Kishu didn't seem too hostile with strangers. At least, it didn't go nuts towards Aiden anyway. Perhaps there was a reason Kishu was in a frenzy? Maybe it had been mishandled or mistreated? Or maybe, just maybe, little Kishu had acquired the taste of human flesh on its palate and decided that bird seed wasn't good enough and now all it wanted was to consume the entire population of this city? Certainly, it couldn't be the last one. Aiden thought about intervening for a second there but ultimately he decided, "This one's all you, Ecclair." |

For Lightning Oberon Led Zepplin was without a doubt not having a good day whatsoever. Here he was extending the olive branch of piece only to have the sadistic bird go apeshit on him with all sorts of tricks. He was barely save from getting blinded for the rest of his life by Yin who yelled. "No!" As apparently he had caught something out of the corner of his eyes instead of the black winged boy who was simply trying to do a good deed like his guardian would have done. Without warning Yin simply broke through his mind. Took over his arm BY FORCE! And threw his head down, "Aw shit, you had to pick up the god damn bird didn't you" Yang said. "What it was Yin's idea, being a good smaritatn never hurt" Obeorn retorted while His arm moved without his control or consent. "Yin my boy you need to learn something fast in this game the only way to make your way in this world is by force" Yang said as if he was reciting some sort of poem that he was saving for a moment like this. Yang then forced himself AS WELL into the winged boys head. The white skeleton like arms disappeared and was replaced with a black leathery ilk done instead that reached up with speed and quickly aimed to clamp down on the creature. Not knowing if he had grabbed him or not he quickly forced the winged demon to use dark hart to set his head on fire. "And you think this will work?" Obeorn said sarcastically trying to ignore the fact that a miniature chicken was drilling into his head. In terms of strength Yang was superior to the animal, although if he did have the chance he would most likely just throw the damn thing off the island. Oh well se la vi, "Don't come crying to me because you picked up a wild animal and now its pecking into your head, what were you expecting? You would both fly off into the sunset?" Yin said n a contradicting voice. "Don't contradict me Yin i am having a horrible day" Oberon yelled out rather annoyed by all of this. True he most likely did set himself up for all of this for some cosmic beings comedy show but then again that was just the way fate would will it. Finally though Yang had apparently gotten a hold of the creature ad grabbed it before tossing it to the ground gently. "Easy Yang we don't want to hurt the little guy, remember what people say about snakes theire more afraid of you then you are of them" Obeorn said as if the black flame spirit was right next to him. "True but snakes don't have talons and go out of their way to PECK YOUR EYES OUT" Yang said in a realistic tone. When the creature was finally pried off of him he felt his head. Damn it was bleeding, note to self don't touch a creature you don't know. He gave one single glare at the creature and an awkward stare at the man who was standing in front of him before he simply turned around and walked off. "What was all that about i thought we were going to get that guy good" Yang asked. Instead of speaking as he usually did he instead spoke into his mind the best he could so that the man behind them would not hear, "i get it, good job your noticing things better" He said. Even though the black winged boy may have been the strongest in his head he knew better then to challenge upfront a knight of Fiore. "You were smart kid, by the way that he was talking i think there was more then one" Yang said. Oberon was panicking now slightly, who the hell was that guy? Was he still following him? His instincts were taking over as he quickened his pace slightly right after he turned the corner of a street so that the people at the bridge would not see him. "when in doubt hide" Yin said matter-of-factly in his head. Obeorn nodded and ducked into a clothing store weaving in-between the aisles of mens clothing in an effort to be sure that no one was following him. "Are they after me again, you remember what happened last time the government got their hands on me" Oberon whispered. He could still feel the needles from all the mod likely illegal experiments done onto him. He finished his escape by ducking into a vacant changing booth. "Better just hide in here until all this clears up" Oberon said trying to get all of this out of his head. Damn, how could he have been so stupid! "Really how could you have been?" Yin said sarcastically. Obeorn sighed hiding next to an oversized pair of jeans in a mens clothing store, in a changing room. |

Yahma smiled the most relieved smiled she could as a familiar red haze appeared in the sky and landed near her location. He had returned to her... "About time he showed up. He is right, i can't just wait for them, we will take the fight to them! Together" New determination filling, the female yato stood up hurriedly while holding kali-yuga with her right hand, with the staff in diagonal across her back as she made a mad dash towards Ryo's location in the plaza, running fearlessly trough the dangerous brige as the rest of the guild hall rejoiced with shouts and roars at hearing the familiar voice of one of their own, returning victorious from his training... everyone in the guild hall could feel Ryo's powers had increase thanks to his solitary training. Yahma had offered to go with him and even share some Yato training methods with him but he was dead set in training alone and she respect his opinion, if only grudgingly so she let him go It was one of the hardest thing she had ever done. but now Ryo was back and her partner was going to spear head the attack it seems; her duty was clear to her, as his partner, Yahma was to stand as his side as his shield, while he crushed every enemy with his flames, well she wasn't just a a wall anymore, not now that she could really fight to the full extend of her full power. A feral grin spread in her face as she thought of her own increase in strength and how much it would suprise Ryo when her saw her in action. Yahma would show him her real power as her partner only knew about the earth alchemy she used as pity against humas, not of her powerful Hung Gar or even her Zenkei. Her dash came to an end as she jumped into the sky and stroke down with Kali-yuga, showing at ryo to get his attention. "Ryo Hasaki. Get Ready!" This was just her way of greeting him and taking a bit of revenge for forcing to let him go training alone, where she couldn't fight at his but she had not intention of hurting really, just a salute really, so the bo passed razor edge to his side, harmlessly as Yahma landed into a cloud of dust from her bo attack, when it settle she move with a twist and stood back to back with her parnet as she flared her own chi energy instead of the usual magic power ryo was used to, soon lightning arcs of viridian power frizzle around her Ryo as she spoke to while taking a ready stance with Kali-Yuga "leaving me to worry about you going who knows where, to do who knows what and not even bothering to see me first thing you arrive!? You are so taking me out for an expensive dinner after this and you will treat me like a princess catering to every my whim before i even consider forgiving you....or so help me buddha i am never talking to you again, you pashera!" Many people watching the scene had to laugh at Yahma's reaction, it was obvious the girl was head over heels for Ryo. She sounded more like an angry wife chastising a two timing hushand rather than a teammate as you just had to replace last sentence with a threat for taking the kids back with her to her mother's house and you had a standard married couple argument. But it seems yahma noticed this was not the time for personal diatribes and relaxed her chi, causing the lightning to disappear and her voice to return to her normal warrior self. "but, for now let's just do what we do best: Let's wreck this thing down to the ground! No survivors, No Mercy." Edited by Jossle, Oct 9 2011, 02:13 AM.

For a while there, Sinjin was in silence as their offers of letting the female knight take a taste of one of the delicious delicacies of Coreopsis failed. Not to mention how much he would go out of his way to head straight for that food stall and waste time waiting for the vendor to start cooking it. It was just plain mockery for one to refuse such a precious thing. Oh well, at least that meant that there were would be more for him later, and probably some for Shun-shun as well. In any case, the golden haired youth was about to turn about and head towards the direction of the guild hall when suddenly, something caught his attention. Not too far from where they were, he heard a strange sound, something like that of a… “Bird?” He uttered with a raised brow, questioning his own words as he turned towards the direction of the source of the sound and saw someone with a yellow chick who seemingly is in a frenzy. “Bird?” He repeated again. He was about to ask about the bird further when suddenly there was a louder sound in the air. He quickly looked up and Sinjin saw a trace of a flaming trail in the sky. He stepped further away from the group and saw a blurred figure of who it was and a smile crept into his face. There was no need for a second thought, as he knew exactly who it was. In fact, the voice that soon echoed throughout confirmed his assumptions and Sinjin would have jumped in glee. Well, he hasn’t seen the guy for a while and he was practically the reason why he joined Tartaros in the first place. “Ryo!” He exclaimed as he picked up the pace and started running before coming to a stop when he heard the rest of what the iconic Tartaros mage said. "He's back!" He wondered for a moment before a light bulb suddenly lit in his mind and he turned around, “Shunsuke! Let’s go!” No matter what was going on, there was something that was certain. With knights seemingly roaming around and the tension in the air like something was about to come down to Coreopsis, he needed to be careful. For now, he would have to stray away from the knights, and make sure that his friend was also in safe hands. Thus, he didn’t wait for Shun to reply as he quickly went back to grab Shunsuke’s arm and drag the boy away before the knights get suspicious of their allegiance. He quickly went straight for the direction of where he could surmise that Ryo was located after that brief flight. ”Is this why knights are lurking about? Because Ryo is back? Great. Just great. More stuff to happen before he could spend time with his idol brother-figure. I hope I can get Rem Carmadon from the guild before anything does happen.” Edited by Sinjin, Oct 9 2011, 06:03 AM.

The Librarian watched from a long distance away with disdain, he was not drawing attention to himself and simply blending in with hte crowd. "Idiots they fight pointlessly while knights and light mages swarm around... They are going to be the creators of their own destruction... the Derpy Ponies..." The Librarian said to himself referencing an interesting novel he had been reading lately called Diminutive Equines in my possesion; Benevolance is mythical. The Librarian would continue to blend in with the crowd far away from where trouble would start and has started. The Librarian really didn't care who won, he could always defect to another side if Raven Tail lost, there was no real loyalty there. The Librarian would then go over to a nearby cafe and order a coffee, maybe the whole day woudl amount to nothing, he only hoped as much. |

It was shocking. Mind-blowing. Frightening, even, as the female knight Ecclair, as her friend had called her, so coldly refused Shun's and Sinny's delicious, azuki-bean paste filled treat. To him and Sinny the treat was just like a little piece of heaven, but to the pink-headed knight Ecclair, it obviously was just a piece of trash. Wait, what? B-but how could she just refuse a treat like that? How would that even be physically possible? Maybe she has brain damage? Shunsuke was in the middle of debating whether the female knight had recently suffered a bad blow to the head, was born mentally retarded or was just a plain hater of sweets when something Sinny said caught his attention. "...Bird? What bird?" Then, as he heard the high-pitched chirping of a young chick, he turned to look at the source of the noise. "Oh that bird. How cute." Shun was about to say more when a burning streak of fire light up in the sky. It was sudden and surprising, seeing an obviously magical trail of fire in the sky like that, and even more when it became apparent that there was someone somehow riding on the flames, using it to fly. Could that be... Ryo? Of Tartaros? The infamous swordsman of fire? Holy shit, it's him. It's gotta be him. Judging from Sinny's shout towards the man flying through the sky like that, it had to be Ryo. After all, Sinny would have known much better than himself on things like this. Of course, there was also the thundering shout that the flaming swordsman of Tartaros let out. "No need for reminding me, Sinny. It's party time." And with that, he stuffed the taiyaki he held in his fingers into his mouth, said a somewhat muffled goodbye to the knight duo and their little baby birdie, then set off after Sinny. After getting dragged along by Sinjin for a few meters, Shunsuke broke out of his grip and started running alongside his friend. Better safe than sorry to get away from those knights before they became suspicious of the pairs true identities as dark mages. Following Sinny since he didn't know where he was supposed to go to, he rounded corner after corner until he came upon it. It was the Tartaros guild hall, tall and foreboding. Being there made Shun's heart skip a beat, since being so close to the object of his dreams was literally a dream come true for the silver haired teenager. |
