Shadow sighed as Excel wasn't able to initiate hugs, and he were too proud to initiate something like that, not that he wanted one! Nu-uh nooo boy he wouldn't even dream of hug-... Why was he hugging Excel??? While denying his wish to hug her he had actually hugged her, the feeling of a person, with Alastors size and shape hugging her, although in reality it would seem as if she was hugging the air. Alastor looking on the ground "Huh, i guess theres some good in all of us huh Shadow?" He said, grinning a bit as Shadow were quick to try deny it, pouting and looking away, his pride shielding him from reality of his actions. Alastor giggling lightly as it was quite entertaining to see Shadow being so defensive for once, he usually never felt a reason to defend himself and would rather have someone see an accident as him being mean than telling the truth. Now if he admitted his reason for doing it, he was nice, if he didn't admit why he had done it, he was nice. No escape!

Alastor smiled and laughed as Excel stroke a pose, she looked good! He didn't care much for appearances, that being said he was able to see what people saw as looking good, he just usually didn't care about it. Smiling and pulling out his gun to ensure it was working functionally, asking if Excel liked it, she seeming to really like it as well, feeling a bit proud in his gift, yeah all his items had in some way been gifts connected to or from the netherworld "thanks! I really like it too, were a gift from my friends on the other side" he spoke before putting it back in its place, Excel seeming eager to show off her powers, Alastor getting giddy, his body shaking like someone having a seizure for a moment as he watched Excel call forth her little spirit, well not as in it was small rather the power of it, heck his shadow bakas had been weak when he first summoned them, they grew fast, and Excel were the type to, while have a short attentionspan, work alot if she was interested and motivated. Letting the smoke snake, with its bright eyes looking at him as it slithered along the air around them before going back to Excel, Alastor clapping excitedly "incredible, brilliant!! Such a good student! How is it to make contact to the other side?! Just wait you'll get to try so much more as you get better, still remember, one step at a time haha, voodoo is all about not stepping on landmines, uh, not litterally of course"

As Menchi growled Shadow quickly turned his head to see where it was growling, Excel helping him spot where they were although he didn't rush off, knowing today he couldn't do it no matter how much he wanted to be breaking bones 'he had to protect people' Excel, and Alastor of course, being the only one he had interest in protecting. Shadow put a hand on Excels shoulder to try calm her down a bit, Alastor putting his own hand on her other and saying;
"Relax Excel, im right here, remember, fear is only needed when it will save you. If it wont it will hold you back"

Coreopsis, the city floating in the sky, was currently the source of Alexis's distractions. The shopping district of this floating city was unbelievable! The clothes they had were just her taste and the colors were absolutely outrageous. Though the knight was confined to window shopping, she took slow steps while staring into the displays of stores. One of these mannequins had this shirt that was just beyond the best shirt that she had ever seen. The torso part of it was fairly simple, but looked very flow-y with the fabric draping off the sides. The sleeves were long, but tight on the arm until they got to the wrist where it opened up and fell loosely on the hand. Around the neck, and draping down just past the shoulders, was a mantle, similar to the one Alexis normally wore. The whole shirt was colored a clay red with a few accent colors highlighting the awesomeness of the shirt. The Private was this close to using this dark guild war as an excuse to "acquire" a few things from these shops, but was too busy trying to find her way over to Kazuya Onizaki.

The Knights of Fiore had heard a few rumors that pertained to dark guilds fighting each other, but not in secret. They were going to go out in public, crowded public places, and battle each other. That was probably about as stupid as it could be. If people wanted to fight at least have the brains to do it where no officials have to break it up. People can go and still see it, but the knights have to break them up which is really inconvenient. Alexis couldn't really care at all if the dark guilds felt like tearing each other down to the ground. The only time it mattered at all was when it interfered with her personal life. Today, if she didn't have to go out and deal with this issue, would have consisted of hanging out with Jacquelin and Makie at the park and then later meet up with Amelia before going to see a movie. Though being pulled out to Coreopsis wasn't that bad. The city was on Alexis's list of places to go, if for nothing else then the view and now definitely the shopping.

The red-headed knight was noticing that the edge of the shopping area was coming up because the amount of nice open displays were declining and the buildings were starting to all look the same, more or less. While starting to look for Kazuya, Alexis remembered that there were two other knights that were in the area with them. One was Aiden Vakarian who was superior to her in ranking and a very laid back guy from what she could remember from their past experiences. The other Alexis had never meet in person, but had heard about her and some of the assignments she'd gone out on. Ecclair Farron was a Corpreal and was also supposed to be one of the most determined knights, but Alexis would have to see her to know. Her gaze went back and forth from the sides of the streets, taking an extra amount of time to peer into allies. She couldn't seem to find any of the three knights, though she was really only expecting to see Kazuya. It was just like him to want to meet some place vague like a shopping district. The shopping district is pretty big and now she was wasting time trying to find him instead of stopping what ever dark guild activity could be happening.

Out of the corner of her eye as they drifted to the right, Alexis caught a glimpse of Kazuya's hair. How did the knight know that the hair on that person's head was Kazuya's? Well, no one else would dare have orange as the color of their hair unless they just decided to give up on life or something along those lines. Walking down the narrow street with some fierceness in her step, Alexis closed in the spiky haired knight. He was on a dock, staring at the sea. That is just like him. Alexis thought to herself. She knew that she was about ten minutes late, distractions were rather good at distracting after all, but he clearly had not paid any worry to where she was. They were supposed to be on the look out for dark guild activity and she could have been under attacked or captured or something. Could she have counted on Kazuya to come and help her? Evidently not. Standing behind him Alexis crossed her arms in front of her chest and stared at him. "Kazuya. I know I'm a little late, but considering that there are dark mages out and about did you even consider looking for me?"

Sarcasm. Because beating the shit out of people is illegal.

Kazuya watched as a pair of bright blue birds swept to and fro through the sky before him. Swift and as nimble as the wind they soared, glided and hovered whilst twirling in complex routines that left Kazuya wishing that he had wings of his own. To join them and leave behind any and all of his earthly worries even for a few hours would have been heavenly. Not that he actually had too many of those anyway, such was his nature. It would be neat to be able to do what those birds were doing nonetheless. How long had he been watching the birds? A minute? Ten minutes? An hour? Kazuya didn't know but he was promptly brought back to reality as a familiar voice addressed him from behind. "Kazuya. I know I'm a little late, but considering that there are dark mages out and about did you even consider looking for me?"

Turning around, Kazuya made no pretense of being on alert as he instead leaned against the docks railing and smiled back at his companion, who looked mightily displeased with him. As always, she wore her unique knight uniform that by now he was so accustomed to. Not that he could claim to be any different with his standard on the job wardrobe. "Oh come on Alexis", he began with a smile spreading across his face. "If you ran into any dark mages, I'd be more worried about them than you." His smile fading a little, he gestured out at the docks and the bustling crowds that occupied it. "We've been here for a while now and there hasn't been a single sign of distress. I can't help but wonder if this could be a wild goose chase to lure us all here while the real trouble starts somewhere else."

It was something he'd been thinking about as he'd watched the birds actually. It just seemed too... convenient that they had been tipped off about a guild feud in advance of it actually starting. Of course, if the dark guilds were that sloppy with their information then that was excellent as it boded well for those who resided in the light as a whole and attested to a general incompetence amongst those of the dark. But if they were that incompetent then surely they'd have all been rounded up, imprisoned and disbanded long ago. it all seemed fishy to Kazuya, or at least like there was something about this feud that they were missing, or worse- under estimating. Time would soon tell, he supposed with a small shake of his head.

Pushing off the railing, Kazuya walked past Alexis several paces before halting and scratching his head. "In any event, we've spent long enough in this area, we should probably go and patrol somewhere else. Not that I don't just love watching you window shop." He glanced back at Alexis over his shoulder as he said this, making the grin he wore completely visible and to make the gentle ribbing he was giving her even more obvious. Turning away again, he began to lead the way southwards, following the shoreline initially before eventually peeling off into the city itself. While he walked, he mused about what Astria had said about the dark mages. Of course it went without saying that if she'd been gone a little longer he'd have started to worry, however since she'd shown up safe and sound before that point could be reached, he was free to keep being nonchalant about the whole thing.

The City of Coreopsis, the floating city which was said to be as dazzling as can be and quite the romantic get away, surely such a blissful place would not have hid anything too sinister, nor malicious, however, it is sometimes the least likely of places where the most malicious things bloom, and that is precisely the reason that our young adventurer had arrived in such a place, well, it wasn’t to go on a romantic dinner with a lucky lady, that was sure.

Rayleigh glazed ominously at the sky, particularly noticing that birds of a wide variety had chosen that specific evening to flock away from that specific place, as if a hidden sense of awareness had kicked in all of them, prompting them to leave before they were in immediate danger, however, it seems that everyone in the floating city of Coreopsis was in danger, no matter how far they were from the action, so long as they were in the vicinity of that City, their lives would have been at risk. It was Rayleigh’s self proclaimed duty to stop anything such as the unnecessary spilling of civilian blood from occurring, and he was willing to lay down his life to do that, as his father had always brought him up with a strong sense of justice.

Despite knowing of the situation at hand completely, the blond didn’t seem too frazzled by the entire concept of ‘war’, something quite unlike a youngster such as himself, however, that didn’t mean he didn’t possess a small flicker of fear, it just meant that he had accepted that it existed and chose to move on. It had been a few moments after Rayleigh had decided it was high time he kicked things into gear, and headed off to where he believed things would get serious, along the way he noticed the gathering of groups of people at a time, some wielding swords, where as some not. It seemed that people from a large variety of affiliations had decided to help out, or so he wanted to believe.

Along the way, it seemed that luck had been on his side as he had already encountered a familiar face, it was none other than his good friend Alastor, seemingly talking to another person, though not quite noticing the blond yet. It was at that moment that the Blond had decided to make himself known, greeting the illustrious Shadow Mage with a fond smile.

“Hey Al, long time no see”, muttered the blond, after waving his hand to make himself known

After talking to the purple haired youth briefly, he turned to find out who he had been talking to, and at that moment, wished he had just pretended she wasn’t there…it was none other than Excel, the mischievous mage that had made things difficult at that hotel a while back, as he recalled it, she tried to control all the female beach goers and tried to make them all drown, before revealing her cruel plan as nothing more than a ruse or a sick joke, the boy got small shivers down his spine just thinking about it.

Excel suddenly blinked in surprise upon feeling a pressure around her that felt like an embrace. She then giggled and realized that shadow was hugging her. She hugged back, feeling the invisible body of the shadow as he embraced her, she hugging back before she felt the pressure vanish. She giggled and looked down to find Shadow looking like he was sulking. He mush have been embarassed by whatever Alastor muttered to him. She then heard Alastor say something about her little snake, it having disappeared not. She blushed when he complimented her, she hugging him and planting another kiss on his lips. Thank you, Master Alastor! Excel learned it because of what you taught her. It really is nice having friends on the other side. Just as you said! Excel is sooooooooo grateful!! Excel loves you, Master Alastor! She grinned, she smiling as Alastor mentioned something about not having to worry about the people on the roof. Excel nodded and draped her arms over Alastor's Shoulders, she hugging him against her body. She froze when she heard a familiar voice call out to her master. She frowned when she saw who it was. It was that slut loving guy from Akane Resort. She huffed and whispered to Alastor, making sure that is was only hitting Alastor's ears. Master Alastor, do you know that jerk? He was mean to Excel a while back. Excel doesn't like the mean man. Excel pouted a little and hugged Alastor tighter, making sure not to hug too tight while she eyed Rayleigh with distain, Menchi sitting on the ground and growling at him.

Stay the course.

When the typically casual knight had heard that there was a sort of war going on between the three major Dark Guilds Aiden had thought one thing: 'What a pain in the ass...' Sure enough, that would be a very Aiden thing to say but he had hit that one nail right on the head. The Dark Guilds were ordinary in a state of rough equilibrium, or at least a false sense of peace. When that equilibrium broke, for reasons Aiden did not quite understand yet, it was obvious that hell was going to break loose eventually. It was made more than just a little bit problematic by the fact that the Dark Guilds' main headquarters were located in cities. The city that Aiden, as well as several other knights, were dispatched to was none other than Coreopsis, a floating city surrounded by the gleaming Celadon Lakes. Hopefully, the lakes wouldn't be dyed a lovely shade of crimson by the end of this.

The orders were very official, featuring the plain, very business-like text and vernacular as most other bureacratic organizations do. Enclosed within it were details that Coreopsis would be reinforced. The atmosphere seemed tense, almost ominous and a little bit eerie. It wasn't too different from the call before a violent storm, but frankly that is how it has been for quite some time. At least, ever since the war had been started anyway. It was only a matter of time before the metaphorical shit hit the fan, and it was flying all over the damn place.

There wasn't all that much supplementary information regarding what they were doing. All that they seemed and needed to know was that crap might go down in Coreopsis, and if it does then the city and citizenry would definitely be better off with the help of the Knights of Fiore. Peacekeeping would be ideal, but frankly Aiden had a feeling that they would be breaking up fights more often than deterring them like they usually did on patrols and guard shifts.

Aiden had been sent off to the location with his typical equipment and gear. Of course, it consisted of his heavy-duty suit of armor with his trademark dark blue long coat over it. Equipped onto his arm was his trusty shield, and his shield was tucked off at his side, sheathed in its scabbard safely but ready to be drawn if/when necessary. He was partnered up with well...one of his partners, Corporal Ecclair Farron Bellum. Looking over the roster of the other knights that were being sent here, Aiden could breathe a sigh of relief. Ecclair he knew was a skilled, capable knight. After all, they were in the same unit. Alexis and Kazuya were also both capable, as was Sergeant Nyke. Aiden didn't know the other knights around here all too well, but he was sure that they would serve to be a reliable bunch.

For now, Ecclair and Aiden were split up, patrolling off in different directions. The two knights were to meet up at a neighborhood, particularly by a large, easy to read sign. It served as a good landmark to meet up, and Aiden was already on his way. The knight adjusted the simple black aviator sunglasses over his eyes and took nibbled on a skewer. Had he had a cigarette in between his lips rather than a skewer he would make a pretty decent bad-cop, at least in appearance anyway. However, he was quite hungry and had been eating some dango on the way as he patrolled. Eventually, Aiden noticed Ecclair. Strangely, she was surrounded by a curious pair of people, offering her taiyaki. With a curious eyebrow raised, Aiden looked towards Ecclair. "Well, looks like you've been busy. I'm assuming nothing special's been happening on your end either, Ecclair."

^________^
Sinjin was distracted at looking at the armored female to notice that something dark and sinister was fast approaching. Well, it wasn't entirely dark and sinister as what met him was a daring Shun-shun who suddenly took his offered taiyaki and gobbled it in one go. Surprised by the event, the golden haired youth could only stare at the other in wonder, mouth agape and speechless at what had just occurred. In fact, he had a hand reaching out towards Shunsuke as if to grasp hold of whatever remained of the taiyaki, but it was just too late. The food was long gone as the silver haired youth placed a smile on his face and left Sinjin smirking with a devious plan hatching in his mind on how to deal with the sudden intrusion and stealing of his precious taiyaki.

And as if adding fuel to the fire, Shunsuke dared to approach him, taking a taiyaki so swiftly from within the bag and offered it to the woman and even addressed her as a knight. ”The nerve!” He thought, though he was more angry at the fact that his taiyaki pack was now one taiyaki less. Still, he also felt a bit jealous when the other stole his moment and offered the sweet treat to the annonymous knight that he had approached earlier. If only he acted a bit more, he would have made a better impression of himself instead of standing idly by and allowing someone to snatch the treat right under his nose. Right. It was just so uncool and un-Sinjin-like as he would describe it.

“Shun-shun...” he started with a drawl, sighing out slowly and adjusting into an idle stand as he turned to face the other, “You do know that I was planning on giving you if I did find you here? But after that, I might as well keep all these taiyaki to myself.” He spoke with a childish stare of puffing his cheeks and closing the bag and placing it on his other side, away from his friend's reach. Sure, he hadn't expected that they would turn out to be good and close friends – especially since he wasn't sure he'd ever end up turning into a “good friend quality” type of person – but they did. He was always glad if the other was in the vicinity like his inner craziness taking full advantage of the moment who would want to drag Shunsuke into a troublesome adventure like a sidekick. Of course, he would never admit that to the other.

Just then, he heard someone's voice and Sinjin looked to the side to find, yet another person in armor eating what apparently looked like dango. He fell silent for a moment as he observed this person's gait, realizing that he may just be the same with the woman he had been lured to be attracted to – a knight. However, the very presence of the two was rather alarming as from what little he could remember from small gatherings in the guild was that a knight in the vicinity would mean bad news for a dark mage. Then again, he never really saw himself as a dark mage, just a bit chaotic, crazy, eccentric and pretty much not the goody-two-shoes guy, so he saw no immediate threat at the moment. Besides, he felt a bit happy upon learning the woman's name – Ecclair. He couldn't hide that sweet smile on his face as he repeated the name in his head but he quickly put himself into attention as he looked back to Ecclair. “So sorry if my friend, Shun-shun stole that taiyaki.” He first spoke before turning towards the new knight and wondered aloud, “Mind if I ask something? If you're both knights, what are you doing here in Coreopsis?” He might as well get some sort of information if there was something going on the background and he wished that his identity as part of Tartaros won't be recognized just yet.

Steel your mind. Run on instinct.
Like some what? Slowly Ecclair’s eyes opened and glanced down to her side at the outstretched hand that was offering her some food, well that’s what she figured it was anyway. It looked like a pancake in the shape of a fish, now that just didn’t sit right with the woman. If it looked like a fish then it should taste like a fish not a pancake, that was just asking to upset ones taste buds and stomach. Her facial expression read as her normal nothing as she glanced from the food to the young man holding it, he seemed like a pretty well groomed youth and not like one that would be involved with crime and yet something was off. Ecclair always had good intuition and when she could look into someone’s eyes she could read a lot from them alone, there was something off with the kid and there was no way she was taking food from him. Not that she would have anyway of course, who the hell just takes food from a random? Someone asking for trouble that’s who. Being a figure of authority a knight that took food from a stranger was just asking to be drugged or poisoned by someone that disliked that very authority, despite how stupid doing so sounded why was it that the pink haired knight could think of at least a few knights that would do it anyway?

She was about to speak and refuse the offer of the strange fish shaped pancake thing when it seemed that someone else would do it for her albeit in their own way. Another young man came running towards the food bearing one and in a swift movement the battered fish thing was snatched and swallowed down into the bottomless pit that was a hungry stomach, well at least she wouldn’t have to refuse the offer so with no more interest in those next to her the knight’s eyes returned to the path ahead of her. With the two talking to one another she could just ignore them and continue with her waiting for Aiden…..yeah right like she was going to be that lucky. A silent sigh escaped Ecclair’s lips with only the chest rise and fall to show it existed and with that amount of enthusiasm her aqua eyes returned to the pair by her side, “It’s fine, I wasn’t planning on eating it anyway.” Ouch? Well yes her words might have sounded rather mean but they weren’t meant to be, she just wasn’t one to sugar coat or mince her words. Straight to the point was the way this knight ran things. In response to the last question asked of her by the newcomer she wasn’t going to speak but more then a couple of words, why? Well there was no need to obviously, “I am”.

Oh thank what ever god was listening at the time, Aiden’s voice broke through the air and Ecclair couldn’t help but feel the relief well up inside of her. Turning her head to face her partner she made it obvious how she was feeling about the attention from these two youth’s, her expression read like a book and she hoped that her fellow knight would be eager to move on before she found herself falling asleep completely. “Nothing, a few petty criminals wetting themselves and running away but nothing interesting,” yeah she wished she was kidding about the wetting themselves part. Why hadn’t she heard Aiden coming? Kishu should have been quite the verbal little GPS for the man and started his chirps as he knew that they were getting closer to herself…..so why hadn’t she heard anything from the tiny baby bird? Ecclair’s eyes shot to Aiden and they flickered around his persons in search of the tiny yellow bird but when she didn’t see him sitting atop his blue head of hair or on his shoulder or even in the air around him the knight’s protective side kicked in, “Where is Kishu?”. Her tone was calm and hid the worry well but to those that knew how she cared for the little bundle of yellow fluff it would be obvious regardless that she was ready to leap forward and beat the crap out of her partner should anything have happened to her beloved pet.

Oh yeah those guys were still there weren’t they? Well they were the last thing on the knight’s mind at the time, she wanted to know where her bird was.

Swordsman & Swordsmith as One!

Yahma was now close to killing someone and people around her knew it, giving the tense girl quite the berth in the guild hall as she paced like a trapped animal and mostly trying to subtly make their own preparations should the woman finally snap...they really didn't want to wind up blown into fine powder with a single punch but on her defense, It was not her fault; this tension was driving her nuts and it was one of the few time she actually hate being so attuned to her instincts, Yahma wished whatever was going to attack just get it over and come out, so she can kill it! She wasn't stupid enough to dare leave the guild hall in order to search for the source of it, that was merely asking for a dagger in the back. she knew, having kill a couple of guys that way but that was not here nor there, this guild hall was Ryo's home and she would protect it, with her life if needed be as she was his peng-you and partner, a yato woman will never abandon her chosen male. her hands clenched into fist...memories of the past flooding her mind.

Her family, all twisted and mutated into servants to Koh...

Blood flowing freely both from her eyes and her enemies as she killed...

Koh's sickening laughter as he watched Yahma crumble as she held Resshin's corpse...

Yahma stopped her passing at this memories and began shaking in subconcious fear, having to hug herself to keep herself from breaking completely into a nervous breakdown. Now she recognized this feeling! it was the same she felt just before she returned to found her family, her live, destroyed by koh's whim. Another feeling filled her. Rage, hot and pure violence flowed trough her veins as she imagined another repetition, losing all those she had come to value...losing Ryo. No. She wouldn't allow it! The female stopped shaking and her arms tense, in fact, her whole body tense and showed the awesome build of yahma, her muscles define and firm as if they belong to a statue rather than a living beings. Blood vessel tenses and became apparent in some areas and her chi flowed outside of her as viridian haze of energy. Yahma Guan Seong was back in action and never again would she lose anyone again, even as her body rev up at her protective nature, getting ready to fight to the last breath... her mind was strangely clean of chaotic thoughts. She had only one certainty which she voiced to the rest of the guild with an oath

"I make my oath here.
I am the Asura who is to become the plunderer of all Heavens.
I am the Deva who is to become the conqueror of all Hades.
I am the Buddha who shall return everything nothingness.
Therefore, your enemies will be defeated securely!
"

Yahma's voice was oddly devoid of it's usual merriment and it was spoken almost as a solemn oath those around her thought until they saw her walk towards the door as she extened her staff back to normal after removing it from her waist. She opened door ajar and then sat down cross legged at the from door of the guild hall while keeping kali-yuga horizontal between her joined hands. She kept her eyes on the single bridge connecting the minor island to the main coreopsis island.

The rest of the guild hall felt moved at her reaction and seeing her solemn guard. They didn't fully understand what yahma was feeling but everyone felt a bit more tense now, something was coming and even as yahma has been a prick to most of them because of elitism, she was a true member of the guild, willing to die defending it and always first in the line in duty.

"were going in circles" Yin said. Oberon had by now finished his food and was walking along the streets of the city. Why did people like this place so much? There was nothing to do except for going to the exotic lakes nearby. Oberon shook his head from side to side, people could be a mystery sometimes. They could go all the way from being the most dastardly villains of all time to becoming your greatest friend and all you could do was just stand there and 'go what the hell?' it was a strange circumstance indeed. "I know, i figure that there must be at least someone nearby who we can rattle for information, its not like the fighting is starting anytime soon" Oberon said as the black winged boy crossed a nearby bridge over a small stream that flowed in-between the houses. He stopped for a second and looked out over the bridge. There were lakes as far as the eye could see, big ones ,small ones, hell most likely even magical ones! It was one of those things that after a while of living near you often took for granted."That seriously might have been the only time you paid attention to nature" Yine said trying to get a sense of the morally standing side of Oberon. "I wasn't! There was a uh, suicide jumper! Yeah! There he goes ditching life! Goodbye!" Oberon hastily replied to his two contradicting spirits.

"Hmm, never seen that type of bird before...." Oberon muttered as he could see two blue birds flying across the sky going god knows where. They had interesting colors on them as all of their body was blue except for their beaks which from this distance looked yellow with red streaks on them. "I wonder what its up like there? Flying i mean" Oberon said with his mind wandering in many ways. Up there it was a whole different world compared to what was down here on earth. It raised his spirits as he stood on his tip toes and flapped his large black feathery wings back and forth. "Oberon no, we've tried this before, you can't fly" Yin said breaking the boy out of his happy fantasies. He smiled, he was not like a bird in every way. He was the ugly duckling of the lot as he was doomed to dwell on this earth by himself

Oberon sighed but was interrupted by a small chirp directed at him. He opened one eye and swore that he could see a small ball of yellow fluff (Kishu) standing near him. "What the hell?" Yang said as Oberon swiveled still leaning on the bridge looking down at the creature in front of him. Oberon was, skeptical, to say in the least on what the hell this thing was. It reminded him of some sort of baby chick although it was certainly not that as it had a rather short and strange tail not the end along with not that was on his head like a cute little mohawk. "Maybe we can eat it?" Yang said in a suggestive manner. This caused a look of disgust and surprise on the boys face, "we are not going to eat...whatever it is" he said looking down at the baby chicken or whatever in gods name it was. It looked cute to say, although it seemed a bit lazy as it didn't mover around a lot. However there was still a look of panic in his eyes as he was jumping all over the place and chirping all of a sudden as if he was going 'panicking i am a panicking bird thing!' over and over. "Oberon what should we do?" Yin asked referring to the bird in front of him. "We can't exactly just leave it here now can we, besides it might be lost" Oberon whispered despite it being a bird and not understanding him. "Yes but it doesn't look all that safe to be around, it could be a wild animal with rabies!" Yang said placing in his problems with the boys decision.

"Both of you put a lid on it!" Oberon said silencing the two spirits.

Oberon crouched down slightly his knees and looked at the small creature stretching out his wings as far as they could go. "are you lost?" Oberon said in a calm and slightly caring manner although he was not about to go all mushy over a lost bird. The bird seemed to stop for a second, tilting its head at the boy before chirping once more. "I'll take that as a yes then, between you and me i'm lost as well"Oberon whispered smiling slightly. Why was this creature all alone though was his real question, it couldn't have been old as it was still small and fluffy with its yellow wings. It obviously couldn't fly as most newborn birds can't as well. "Or you looking for your mom?" Oberon asked. At this however the bird creature started to hop around in a panicked fashion again, yep he had hit the nail on the head. "Great, i have a feeling where this is going"Yang said in a bored and complaining manner, "shut up" Oberon muttered. The bird stopped however and looked up at the gold eyed boy, was it looking at his wings? "I was born with these, like you! Except i can't fly with them......come on lets find your mom" Oberon said lowering his arm. The creature hesitated looking around slightly but in the end ran up his shoulder and perched itself onto of his head. "Oh yes i forgot, meet Yin and Yang mr...... what can i call you, for now at least....how about Mushu" Oberon said. The bird hopped up and down angrily and chirped loudly at his new name. "Okay, okay, no mushu" Obeon muttered before leaving the bridge with his new acquaintance on his head. The mom couldn't be too far, its not like she was huge or something....right?
