Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Oberon groaned, everything was happening to fast for him to get a hold of. He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose gently in frustration. How were they going to do this? Would they find a way to stop the city from sinking? No that wouldn't work as doing so would destroy his chances of survival as it was almost impossible to stop the place from sinking. He growled and looked around, The center was somewhere north of them, or was it south?" either way it would be best to get some more people to accompany him and blitz so that they didn't get themselves killed. "Its a bit late for that" Yang said surveying the damage caused by the magic crossbow bolt that the dark mage had fired before. It was true that they were out of their league, the city wasn't sinking to fast which meant that the big dogs had been engaged. "Big dogs being the high ranking mages no?" Yin asked to which Oberon nodded. He closed his eyes so that he couldn't see at all and slowly spinned with his arm outstretched until he became to dizzy and quickly stopped. His eyes opened and told him that he was most likely facing East.

"Well, i think that they've got things covered down south and north, perhaps we should concentrate our efforts on dealing with the other morons" Oberon said as he looked back to Blitz quickly before looking out over the street to the other side.

It was a BIG jump, one that certainly the black winged demon couldn't pull off, "or should for that matter" Yang said as he surveyed the distance as well. This caused the black winged boy to frown, great, they were going to get wet again. "Well. i know for sure that i can't jump that so i think now would be the time to go back down to the street" Oberon said as he looked down at t the slightly flooded streets below. He had to admit that although the city was sinking slowly, it was still sinking none the less which would certainly not be good for any of this. He sighed before swinging his legs over the ledge and dropping down onto the metal fire escape. He climbed down the ladders and metal stairs downwards, more water, how nice. "Just be sure to pull out when it gets too wet" Yin said warningly, "thats what she said" Yang said before cackling loudly causing the black winged demon to erupt into a smile as well. It was true, when you had magic like his you never were really alone.

He could see couple of D-class mages in the alley beneath trading through the garbage that was floating and drenched in water. Obeorn smiled and jumped off the metal railing with his form still intact before slamming both his legs onto their backs throwing them to the ground. They wen't down pretty damn easy as they really had no idea that he was coming, "I give that a ten for good dismount" Yang said. Oberon stepped off the hopefully knocked out mages and ruffled his jacket. He looked up at blitz giving him the thumbs up sign before walking forwards out of the alleyway into the flooded street. The water was by now up to his ankles, but he could still walk around easily enough. He sighed and summoned the green and black flames causing the form to disapperate leaving him normal again, great.

"East would be that way" Oberon said loudly enough for Blitz to hear.

He ruffled his jacket before walking back to the plaza and heading out the east exit downy he main street. He might as well do something productive instead of hiding up on the rooftops all day long. He kept his eyes open though in case any mages popped out and he would need to transform into the speedy and nimble Yin. As far as he could tell though they were okay, that was of course assuming that Blitz was following him or nearby.

Steel your mind. Run on instinct.
Ecclair noticed the backup behind the stall nearby and although she had no idea if they would be of even the tiniest amount of use the fact they were there was still somewhat reassuring, even the weakest of allies could cause distractions and honestly seeing the power that this woman had at her disposal that was probably about all that the knight herself would be able to do. Hearing the woman’s voice once more the pink haired knight’s aqua eyes glanced up to see quite the disturbing sight, her ally was disarmed and being held at blade point. Well it seemed like a distraction was just what the doctor ordered in this situation, even if she could do nothing but buy the mage time to move and retrieve his blade then so be it. This enemy was tough, tougher then she would have liked to say the least but she could not be immortal and therefore if her and her allies worked together even someone such as her could fall. Speaking of allies…..where exactly her partner? Aiden should have been arriving now if not already unless something else drew his attention, one would have thought that the urge of not wanting to sink would have had the knight the most eager to beat these Raven Tail mages down to size.

Knowing full well that she stood little chance of doing anything of great value Ecclair still charged forwards towards the back of her enemy, she would bring her blade down vertically upon her target should she even get close enough to do so but should something interrupt her charge the knight had no problems breaking off her assault to dodge. After all she wasn’t aiming to deal damage to this woman, she was merely trying to get her attention from her red haired ally so he could make a move of his own. Fate had given the knights a powerful ally in their cause to protect and save Coreopsis and although they might have been dark mages themselves that good old saying came into mind, The enemy of my enemy is my friend. For now at least that saying proved to be correct, how long that would last? Well hopefully long enough to save the city at the very least. Ecclair just had to focus on not being disarmed like her ally had been and hopefully not roflstomped in the process of creating the distraction right? Yeah, it was easier said then done that was for sure.

Remaining quietly tucked away within the large plume of white feathers at Ecclair’s side Kishu could hear and sense the chaos unravelling but he knew not to emerge unless it was absolutely necessary, only if he was able to protect the knight would he make himself known to an enemy this powerful.

Stay the course.

A team of ants are more than capable enough to take out a large beetle. Now, the question is whether or not the person standing at the center of Coreopsis, posing a large thread, was a simple larger insect or simply that could pretty much step on them to death? That was a question that could only be answered and discovered one way, whether Aiden liked it or not. It was a little bit reckless to simply jump out into the fray without observing her abilities, but at the same time Aiden did not intend for his junior officer to fight a battle against an unknown enemy, especially since civilians (who were likely mages, possibly even dark mages from Tartaros) were joining the skirmish. With a sigh, Aiden stood on a rooftop overlooking the town square, and silently observed for a moment.

Aiden had arrived awhile back enough to see a blast of heat, a veritable explosion of scorching fire bursting out near Ecclair. She managed to readily avoid the attack with a sort of acrobatic evasive manuever, so Aiden didn't exactly need to intervene quite yet. At the same time, he couldn't help but notice who exactly it was that caused that explosion. Aiden had seen the dark mage before, both based on reports about him and his crimes, as well as one time in person purely by circumstance. That strange, uneventful meeting that they had reminded Aiden only of one thing, though perhaps it was due to the wave of buffetting heat that had momentarily assaulted the area. That guy, when Aiden had first seen him, bumped into him and made Aiden waste an icecream cone. At least, that's how his memory of the day went (alternatively, I'm too lazy to go and dig that thread out and actually confirm that, so instead you're getting this). So, basically he owed him an icecream, though the knight would have to worry about that later. After all, there was a highly likely mage and knight-eating enemy not too far from him, standing dead-center in what would surely be a theater of destruction in a few moments.

After a brief but intense tussle, one of the dark mages had ended up disarming the one that Aiden could vaguely recall was from Tartaros, according to his file and Aiden's own memory. With his sword tossed aside and the guy now potentially vulnerable to a strike, Aiden decided it might as well be a good time to intervene. Now, the dude wasn't explicitly an ally, but the saying goes, 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend', right? At about the same time, Ecclair had charged in to help out the red-haired swordsman. Knowing full well she could come to a full stop and get away, Aiden threw his first attack against the mage. Aiden's magical vambrace resonated with power, causing its gemstones and rune engravings to crackle with magical energy through Aiden's sheer force of will. Following this, Aiden swung his arm forward, throwing a strong punch. The vambrace itself reacted, releasing a howling force of energy as a two-meter wide fist traveled towards Aiden's target (the female dark mage), aiming to deliver a crushing blow or at least a distraction for the others to obtain distance and advantage. A perfect time for him to say something like, 'Can't let you do that, Star Fox!' but he decided to stay wordless for now.

Immediately after Aiden's attack, the gauntlet powered down. Aiden didn't know the opponent's capabilities, so it was a good idea not to attack too recklessly. Staying closer towards the defensive side of things, finding and exploiting weaknesses, and viciously counterattacking, these were the traits that made the shieldbearing knight stand out.

Soul looked with surprise and amazement. The first bolt seemed to go off to the side by a simple flick of his finger. But Soul's attack was on it's way behind the first bolt, and Soul was hoping this would work. Suddenly. with the same movement as the unknown mage did with the incoming bolt, the unknown mage had sent Soul's demon kai blast high into the sky where it got out of range and exploded.

Unfortunately for the unknown mage was trying to redirect it to hover somewhere(which Soul didn't know) was all but failed. Because the technique was also set to go off if it gets out of range from the suit of armor that laid on Soul's body. Soul's eye's moved from his exploding technique down towards sinjin to see him fire another bolt towards the opponent. Though, this bolt was different, because it had a spiraling effect behind it. Soul looked towards the unknown mage to see him lift his hand and make it disappear somewhere else? "What the?" Soul shouted out loud just as Sinjin cut his hand and created some scythes.

Soul's eye's narrowed at the recruit. He just had deflected one of the boys strongest techniques, and he's gonna try another? That was just plan stupid.. or was it? Sinjin threw the T like scythe towards the opponent. As the scythe moved in towards their opponent, it actually forced the man to dash forward and slam an open palm into it. 'interesting... Why wasn't he able to redirect that attack like all the others?' Soul thought cracking a smile at the big dog mage who was glaring in their direction.

It seemed that this punk's magic was beginning to become more obvious on it's strengths and weaknesses the more he used it. 'Then I guess I will force him to use it more!' Soul thought loudly within his head. His armor began to glow a bright green before shattering into thousands of pieces that dissipated into thin air. Now revealing his normal summer outfit, Soul clapped his hands together. A spark of lightning began to surround his hands and when he separated his hands, a large bolt of lightning was formed. Grabbing the bolt of lightning with his hand that had the magical ring that allowed him to do this. "I'll go first, you come in behind me with that scythe, got it!" Soul said loud enough for only sinjin to hear which was not that far away from Soul, unlike the Raven Tail mage who was a distance away.

Looking back towards the Raven Tail mage, Soul grinned and took off on a full blast run. Though Soul would almost appear invisible to sinjin, the target he was heading for would be able to see him coming with no strain on his eyes. If able to get close to the mage, Soul would throw the lightning bolt like a spear at the center of the Raven Tail mages chest. Soul would then clap his hands together once again to summon his c-class spear. Grasping the spear tightly, Soul would slide to a stop in front of the man and plant his feet and sent several lunging strikes with the double pronged spear in his hand hoping to create an opening for his weaker comrade sinjin.

Persistence is a trait one can have when then continue to persevere in spite of opposition, obstacles, or discouragement. This trait has made many a character popular in books, movies, comics, and mangas. In fact within every protagonist one can tend to find this or a similar trait which gives the characters a "Can Do!" spirit that gives them the will power to over come whatever obstacle they may be facing and in books, movies, comics, or mangas it is where they would usually turn the situation around and come out on top. Though in this case Alexis and Kazuya were the protagonist and the Fantabulous Phantasm were the antagonists... right? If that's the case then why is they just do not go away? Already they were limping together, persistently, and choosing to block the knight's path.

They once again they preceded to dance. Honestly with those injuries you would think that they would have the sense to stay away from picking fights. It would seem that their buff magic, which was as lame as lame magic could possible even considered to be, seemed to be unison raided between the four. It gave them, wait for it... RAINBOW AURAS OF POWER! Though seriously rainbow auras covered their bodies and not only gave them more increments to their speed and strength, but also healed up some of the wounds they had received not too long ago. Then, together, they all rushed towards the the pair of knights. Kazuya moved between Alexis and them before informing her, politely of course, that she was to "Shoot the fuckers." before he leaped at the group.

He collided with the four, staffs against blade, and while being pushed back he manged to stop their movements. Not a second wasted, he went on the offensive. A quick evasion of Gildo's attack followed by a kick to the back, easily dealt with one member of the team. Gildo went stumbling towards Alexis's to the point that he was so close it would be a waste of a bullet to shoot him. Hastily walking forward she raised the butt of her gun and swiftly brought it down on the back of Gildo's skull. A non life-threatening move that should render him unable knocked out, or at least unable to move with a massive headache. The red-head brought her attention back over to Kazuya in time to see him use the hilt of his swords to smash Jayse's nose. Poor fellow to have that happen twice, it surely would leave a bend in his nose. Kazuya's attention was now on the next member, and since Jayse was busy holding his nose in pain, Alexis holstered her left gun and with both hands steadied her right. Aiming up a sure shot she fired a bullet at the back of Jayse's knee cap and it hit, sending the dark mage to the ground in tears.

Jack and Burda seemed to have learned from their comrades failure and attacked together rather then individually. This effort was in vain, sad enough for them, as Kazuya managed to narrowly evade their broken staffs and landed a stomping blow on Burda's shin, noted by the intense howl he gave off. The blow was strong, sure, but to make doubly sure that Burda would stay down Alexis took aim again. Lining up a shot, she again aimed for the knee, firing at his uninjured leg. Another howl came from his voice before he fell to his side, hands hovering over his legs in pain. Kazuya was in the middle of preforming some rather nice looking martial art moves which ended with a traditional ace kick to the back of Jack's head. What would have been a devastating blow was negated by the man catching himself and pushing himself up, with his magical buffs being able to weather the blow.

Enraged, so much so that he seemed to have gone feral and was almost foaming at the mouth, Jack lunged at Kazuya who tried blocking with his sheathe, only to still be knocked onto the ground. Kazuya, on his back with the snarling Jack looming over him, wasn't able to move and his face was that the wrong end of the ragged spear. A serious tension filled the air as Alexis took aim for the most crucial shot. Her pistol aimed at Jack's chest she let off two bullets and as in any crucial moment in an anime, time slowed while perspective of the bullets rotated 360 degrees before ending up right behind them as they pierced his chest. The next few, tense, seconds passed slowly as Jack fell to the side. Taking a relieving sigh Alexis walked over to Kazuya, gun still in hand. "Don't say I never do anything for you." Though she said it in a sort of serious tone, she was happy that her luck extended all the way through and that Kazuya didn't have a broken spear in his face.

Sinjin was sure that he would strike true this time but it didn’t. Instead, he watched with shocked as Chijini’s scythe was reduced to a thousand droplets of blood upon that thrust from the attacker. No doubt that the opponent was someone beyond him. And yet, he was shaking, not in fright but in excitement as he could feel his blood stir from within. He was always the odd one, feeling the opposite at certain times, and at that very moment, he wouldn’t dare run away from the monstrous opponent, but rather to face him head on. “Just my luck.” He uttered underneath his breath as he pulled the chain back, casting his magic over it to stop the deformation of the blood molecules. Now, he was down to one scythe left so he had to coil the ends of the chain on his right arm for safekeeping.

He stole a glance on the blood blade on his left arm and knew that the weakening of it was inevitable. It was almost time for its materialization to end but perhaps he could make one last strike of it. At that point, he saw Soul make his move and give out his orders to him, of which Sinjin nodded before turning his gaze back to the opponent. A second passed by and Sinjin started running, circling the area to run far from target. Only when he was standing almost behind the target did he suddenly turn and started to run for the opponent as Soul started on his attack.

”Let’s go!” He told himself as he ran faster than before leaping into the air despite a few meters away from the target. From there, he whirled the remaining of the twin scythes he conjured earlier and threw it towards the target. However, as the scythe neared, it seemed like it wasn’t meant to hit the target and instead, with a timely flick along the chains that Sinjin held with his other hand, the scythe dropped earlier before hammering towards the target. Its blade struck deep into the cement surface and Sinjin used it to pull himself closer, speeding his rush. He held out his left hand, with the blood blade out as he neared the opponent, before attempting to strike a quick slash at him.

That wasn’t all, however, as he twisted along with the slash, going with the momentum as he has yet to land on the surface. In that twist, he let go of the chain and his right hand was free to catch the bottom of the submerged scythe, of which he quickly pulled out and then turned to slash against the enemy. Hopefully, at close range it would work.

The strange and funny part, however, was when his foot finally touched the ground and the wet sole from earlier’s running along the flooded street caused him to slip, accidentally flinging his other foot towards the target’s nuts. Hopefully, the gongs would ring at its destructive power.

Things sure were heating up at a rapid pace, Blitz thought. Mages and knights alike were running around, running into each other, fighting with or against each other, crossing over into the battles of others, or going after the ones sinking the city - and the whole sinking city angle just put more pressure on the whole situation. The city of lovers was going to turn into a total war zone. Provided it didn't sink to the bottom before everyone finished their respective fights. The sinking speed had actually increased, meaning that either someone had been fighting one and gotten their tails whipped, or that they had been under pressure and decided to push the time table forward. His partner, the takeover mage, started to spin around, making Blitz raise an eyebrow. The heck is he doing? he thought, but then noticed the outstretched arm. Is this his way of picking a direction to go in? Seems as good as any, but the dizziness could be a problem if another like the explosion mage comes by, or if the first one wakes up, Blitz thought, glancing over at the out-cold enemy.

He finally stopped spinning, facing roughly to the eastern side of the town, and he voiced the notion that the north and south were probably being dealt with, and that they needed to deal with the idiots in the east. He then ran to the roof's edge, glancing down for a moment before jumping off the edge, Blitz running to the edge after him to peer downward to make sure he hadn't broken a leg, but he seemed to have landed on two rather unfortunate mages, but they appeared to be dressed like the enemy, so he guessed it wasn't all bad. Oberan gave him a thumbs up and pointed east before heading off in that direction. Summoning his Kusarigama, he wrapped one end around a protruding flagpole from the front of the building before grabbing the other end and swinging down on the chain, tarzan-style, letting go at the end and rolling once before getting to his feet, letting the chain weapon fade back into his pocket dimension. Truthfully he would have preferred to simply slam into the ground from the roof using his Takeover form, but it wasn't ready just yet, and if he landed on an enemy in that form from that high up, they'd be a bit worse off than just out cold.

Sarcasm. Because beating the shit out of people is illegal.

Random flashes of Kazuya's life- thoroughly mixed with those of Okita- flashed before his eyes as it appeared that he was about to meet a very grizzly and very undignified end to a total poser (in every sense of the word) and the broken shaft of the spear he was carrying. What he learned from those images was that there was simply too much he hadn't done. Climbed Mt Everest, abseiled a volcano, gone on a proper date, Become a high ranking and respected Knight. All very important things to the young knight. So he simply couldn't die here. He would not put up with such an inglorious result. Apparently someone high up the food chain sympathized with this plight, as a pair of bullets collided with the man's chest just as he began to bring the makeshift weapon down at Kazuya's head.

The result was two slow motion ripples that spread across the man's chest as he was thrown backwards off his feet, the spear shaft flying from his now useless grip. Time seemed to crawl, yet in almost no time at all, Jack was crumpled up on the ground. Then Alexis was standing over him, her expression one that reminded him of Ecclair for a moment, but with a slightly less hard edge to it. "Don't ever say i don't do anything for you" she said and Kazuya couldn't help but chuckle out loud. Getting to his feet, he was quick to thank Alexis he dusted himself off and inspected the four mages who were scattered around the place in various poses of distress. Most were clutching one or both of their knees while the one known as Jack was sprawled out on his back, totally motionless save for the rise and fall of his chest as he breathed. Well at least he was alive, that was good because he wouldn't want a murder on Alexis's conscience on his account- even if it was a Dark Mage.

With their opponents defeated and clearly in no state to make a run for it when the authorities arrived to apprehend them, Kazuya decided it was high time to move on. or was that high tide? For as Kazuya took his next step, there was the sound of splashing water and upon looking down, Kazuya realized that a thin layer of water now covered the ground. Although no more than a couple of inches high, it didn't seem to be localized but rather like the entire city was being slowly flooded. Was it even possible? Could they really have... Running down to the end of the street, splashing noisily as he went, Kazuya emerged into a space that gave a clear view of the bridge that connected this particular part of Coreopsis to it's neighboring islands... except there was no bridge. Or rather, it had been reduced to a smoking heap where it had been demolished none too gently. "They're sinking the islands..." Kazuya said slowly, the disbelief of what he was seeing and concluding evident in his voice.

Now his mind was racing. Did Ecclair and Aiden know about this? How long would it take for the islands to sink to the point where they couldn't be recovered? If that happened, how could they evacuate the citizens trapped on the islands? At best he only had half baked answers for most of those questions. One thing that was clear however was that Alexis and Kazuya needed to regroup with their comrades as soon as possible. If there were mages strong enough to sink entire islands, then he sure didn't want to run into them without someone like Aiden or Ecclair there to back them up. Turning to Alexis, Kazuya collected himself as he began to outline his plan. "If they're sinking the islands we need to make sure the other Knights know about it. If we go this way then we should be able to-" he was cut off by an ominous creaking and then an ear shatteringly loud crunch from above them. Kazuya looked up just in time to see a veritable meteor shower of rubble coming from the second story of a building which had just had it's outer face blown outwards.

Reacting instinctively, Kazuya shoved Alexis none too gently out of the way of the falling debris. This saved the female knight from the numerous tonnes of falling debris, but Kazuya was not so lucky. From Alexis's new vantage point on the ground, she would see Kazuya for only a moment, still holding his black sword (now sheathed) in his hand and, perhaps oddly a smile on his face that seemed to say "and now we're even." Then time reasserted itself and he was obscured by the crash of several tonnes of rock, tile and brick now occupied his position. Simply put, it was impossible for for almost anyone to have escaped without the aid of magic and as a knight, Kazuya had none of that. Dust swept through the street, muddying the slowly increasing volume of water but there was no sign of Kazuya anywhere.

From above, a figure emerged from the crater in the side of the now partially collapsed building and dropped to the street level in front of Alexis. it was another Raven Tail mage, this time evident because the black cloak he wore bored it's insignia on it's right breast. The man was young, probably no older than 20 with short, deep red hair and green eyes. "Damn, looks like I only got one of you. Now I have to get my hands dirty", he said with what seemed to be genuine irritation. Flames erupted from his hands as he finished speaking which quickly faded away to reveal a long red scythe in their wake which the mage spun around himself several times as if to warm up. "Don't worry about your friend, you'll see him real soon. I promise", the new mage smirked before swinging the scythe at Alexis horizontally.

With this street safe for the moment, Nyke moved to start evacuating the residents there. While the ones that were healthy and able were already running away, those that weren't so mobile still needed help. In one of the buildings that would likely get crushed in the wave once it unfroze, a pregnant woman was still trying to get down the stairs. Because everyone else was running for their lives, no one was helping her, or even paying the woman any mind. So naturally, as a knight, Nyke would have to do so.

Running over to the open door of the apartment complex, Nyke would climb the few set of stairs that were left for her to go down. Climbing up them, she went to hold the woman by hand. "I got you, come on...that wave won't stay frozen..." She said as the women nodded. They would hurry down the stairs and out of the building. From there, she could see some people loading a magic truck full of supply. Taking the woman over there, the guys turned to her. They already got the idea and were nice enough to let the woman on. So with that settled, Nyke would move to go and help out the next street.

At first it seemed to go as planned, that was until he looked at C'thun the doll crumbling in front of his eyes, for a short moment Alastor fearing the worst until he heard him in the head. "Just how the heck did she do that?!" Alastor asked, at the same time having seen how her image flickered as she removed C'thun, she wasn't even there were she? This was a trap of some sort, after all he shared vision and hearing with Shadow. "Excel, Ray, that imagine in the middle there... It's not real, or at least shes not quite there, shes probably hiding off somewhere, maybe this is like a field where she is very strong but where she hides shes weak as heck, but thats just a theory... Ray, if and only if you can stay hidden, try scour around the buildings, look around and see if she is around somewhere....." At the same time Shadow came back, somehow his attack had gone unnoticed, so either there was really no shadow, or that wasn't her body, she had to be somewhere else. "then lets go, Shadow you search around, Excel... Well you think you can help search and stay hidden? Here I'll give you some help, go around with Shadow but stay hidden and look through the buildings etc.... I'll draw her attention." Alastor spoke before doing a yellow magic circle on the ground a oversized novelty bone comming up, half the size of Alastor, Al breaking it over although as if it had been cut perfectly before putting it onto Excel.

"okay, everyone ready?" Alastor asked, Shadow nodding as he put his hand on Excel, the bone boosters beginning to silently ignite its magical powers, Excel would not feel her usual hyperactive speed but an incredible boost of speed for a while. "3. 2. 1. BREAK!" Alastor said before doing a jump roll out from the stand "HEY CHICKEN LADY UP THERE! CATCH!" He yelled as he fired his gun for 3 seconds, 12 magical rounds firing off at her, mostly to distract the image and keep her attention, holding his shield ready in case she'd decide to send something his way. Although his eyes were tightly locked, his mind showing both his own vision as well as Shadows meaning if they oversaw something he'd catch it. "Hey knight! B-class mage Alastor of Team Adamant Soul is here, so lets do our best to kick this dark bastid butt!" Alastor yelled over to the attacking knight, they had to work together to do this.
