Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

So. I've been thinking of making this for a while now. What I will post in this thread is a story written by myself. A crossover between Fairy Tail and Katekyo Hitman Reborn, with characters of this site put in too. Right now, I only have Sion, my own character, and Noel planned in in my mind. You want your character to be included too? Leave a reply in the Comments thread (this is just the story itself, please do not post in here.

A secret Location

A dark hall. A man, clothed in black, was sitting on a throne in the center. He was broad-shouldered, and he wore black pieces of armor, though it looked as if it had been picked up from a scrapyard. His dark eyes were looking into those of a smaller, but just as strangely armored man. With a shaky voice, the short man said: “The preparations are finished, master...”

The man on the throne grinned. His plan finally came into motion and he sat up. He waved his hand at the man and said: “Then it will now begin. Dester, pull them in. After all these years, we will finally take control over Fiore.”

“As you wish, master... For the victory of Verum Crow.” the small man, apparently named Dester, said. He shivered as he realised the foolishness he had just spoken against his master, whose eyes turned into slits as he said: “We are always victorious, Dester. Do not forget that.” The small man mumbled in agreement and shuffled off into the dark hallways.

Namimori Town, Tsunayoshi Sawada's House, 2 days later

Tsunayoshi Sawada was sitting at the table with all his 'friends', or, as Reborn called them, his Family. Everyone was there. His guardians (Chrome taking Mukuro's place, as always), Kyoko, Haru, I-Pin, Bianchi (wearing goggles as always), Fuuta, and as a representative of the Varia, Squalo. Even Hibari was there. Strangely, the only people Tsuna wanted to see as family were Ryohei, whom he viewed as a sort of brother figure, and Kyoko. Ah, sweet, pretty Kyoko. He didn't want to see her as just a friend. He wanted to tell her what he really felt for her, but he could never gather the guts to say it.

His pondering about Kyoko was interrupted by one, or actually two figures entering. Reborn was sitting on the shoulder of a tall, dark-haired man with two scar-like tattoos on his face, and dark rings around his eyes. “L-Lancia-san!” Tsuna blurted, suddenly standing up and throwing his chair to the ground. “Yes. Good to see you again, Vongola.” Lancia said, making a small bow for the group. Tsuna hurried to get his chair back up and took a seat. He felt like punching himself for doing something that uncool in front of Kyoko.

Reborn jumped onto the large table they were all sitting on, and Lancia took a seat too. “Lancia-san has come to tell us something very important. He learned of something terrible in Italia whilst he was mourning his own famiglia. Go ahead, Lancia-san.” The tall man stood up again and said: “I will get straight to the point. Powerful members of the mafia have disappeared, and I worry for the safety of the entire Vongola family. Just an example of people who disappeared...” Lancia was silent for a moment, and then said: “Dino, Tenth Generation Chaviarone boss.”

A murmur sounded through the room. Even Hibari gave a slight reaction by saying: “Of all people, Dino?” Tsuna said: “What about the Ninth? Is he still safe?” Much to everyone's relief, Lancia nodded. “Yes, the Ninth Vongola is safe. He is under constant guard of his guardians, though their age may have caused their flames to become too weak to actually be noticed. One of his guardians has disappeared, though. The Ninth Generation Lightning Guardian, Ganauche III-san, has disappeared only two days ago.”

Again, a murmur sounded through the room, but was quickly silenced as Reborn shot a bullet through the ceiling. He had tipped his fedora so that his face was hidden in shadow, a sign that he was serious. “Because of this, every moment of every day, at least one person skilled in Flame Combat will be with Tsuna. We will not let the same thing that happened to Dino and Ganauche happen to him.” Rarely had anyone heard Reborn this serious, not even during their adventures in the future or during their fight with the Shimon Family.

“So... Enma-kun and his family will help us with this?” Tsuna asked, thinking about last time he had been threatened. This had turned out to be the Shimon themselves, but this time it most likely wasn't them. Tsuna felt a creeping feeling when Lancia silently shook his head. “Merely an hour ago, we lost all contact with the Shimon Family.” the man who was once known as the Fake Mukuro said.

Tsuna fell back into his seat, stunned. Dino, one of the Ninth Generation Guardians, and now Enma and his family. Who would go next? Basil? His father? Xanxus? One of the very people at this table today? Instead of the mumbling that had taken place before, everyone at the table was now silent. The gravity of this situation finally started to get through to them.

Gokudera was the first to talk again as he got up and said: “Then we will all take turns to guard the 10th! 7 days of the week, 6 Guardians! I, as the Tenth's right-hand man, will take the task of the double guard!” As always, his liveliness was almost scary, as if he liked this kind of situations, but Lancia shook his head. “No need for anyone to take a double guard. You may have been unaware of this, but I, too, received my memories from the future. Most of the time in the future, I was traveling through Italia, attempting to fend off the Millefiore troops that came to steal the rings from my old Family. During this time I have been gone I, too, have learned to control flames.” With these words, he held up his right hand, revealing a green and a red ring. “I am one of the few people with the ability to use two different flames. Of course, it is not as impressive as Gokudera-san's Sistema C.A.I., but I still manage to get around with a combination of Storm and Lightning flames.”

“I always knew Lancia-san was amazing!” Tsuna said, nonetheless impressed by Lancia's dual flame type. Even though it wasn't as versatile as Gokudera, it was still a rare and impressive ability. “So then... What do we do now?” he asked, settling down again. Reborn tipped his fedora down again and said: “The only thing we can do. Sit and wait for more information.”

Magnolia Town, Fairy Tail Guild, 2 days later

Enma grunted. His head hurt like someone had hit it with enough power to crush his skull. This wasn't even an overstatement. He had felt just such force from Daemon Spade when he was fighting together with Tsuna. “Oh, you're awake!” a soft voice said, and his eyes shot open. His red eyes stared right into a pair of friendly brown eyes... and next to those friendly eyes hovered a pair of dark red, vicious slitted eyes, set in a rugged face littered with metal studs.

Enma grunted again and reached for his head. “Oooh... Where am I...” he whispered. His throat was as dry as a bone in the desert, and the woman, who had blue hair bound in a ponytail, lifted his head and gave him a sip of water. “T-Thank you... Miss...” Enma said weakly. “Levy.” she answered. “That's my name.” The man with the studs growled and said: “And who might you be?” Levy frowned. “Gajeel, be a bit more friendly to our guest.” These words resulted in little more than a scoff from Gajeel, who turned his back on Levy and the injured Enma.

“E-Enma Kozato... That's my name...” Enma said, seeing no reason not to tell them. “Where am I?” he asked again. Levy smiled at him again and said: “Magnolia. You're in the Fairy Tail Guild Hall.” Enma was confused. He didn't know where that was, but he nodded nonetheless. “Thank you for your help... What happened to me?” Enma mumbled, wondering how he had ended up in a position like this. Levy answered: “Gajeel found you somewhere in the mountains. All of your magical power had been drained and you were on the brink of death.”

“Thank you... Gajeel-san...” Enma said. So he owed that man his life? Maybe he wasn't as bad as he seemed. “Wait... Magical... power?” he said, trying to sit up, but he was gently pushed down again by Levy. “Yes, silly. The power that gives your body life, and allows you to use magic. Maybe you're suffering from amnesia?”

Enma frowned a bit. “No... I... Back where I am from, magic is little more... than a children's story... Something we wouldn't even begin to consider real...” he said. Levy's face turned into one of surprise. “You don't have magic?” she asked him. Enma weakly shook his head. “How strange. We most certainly sensed the potential in you.” For a moment, she was silent, and then she said: “Then let me break the big news to you. You're a wizard, Enma!”

“I'm a what?” Enma mumbled. Somehow, somewhere this seemed familiar. “A wizard. A mage. Just wait a moment. Mirajane should be here soon with a battery lachryma. That's all we need to get you on your feet again. Until then, try to take a nap.” Levy said. Enma had no clue what a lachryma was, but he nodded and closed his eyes again.

When he woke up, another woman, this one with gray hair had joined them. Enma thought she had to be Mirajane. She was holding a green orb, about the size of a baseball, which seemed to glow with some sort of energy. Levy took Enma's hand and laid the orb in his palm. “Now just close your eyes and try to concentrate on the lacryma.” she said, and so Enma did.

At an incredible speed, he felt his energy return, and within moments he was sitting up again. He was wearing his regular jeans, but his upper body was bare, showing several scars he had got from the fight with Daemon. His eyes were wide open and he was breathing heavily. Looking at the orb in his hands, he noticed that the glow had disappeared. “Incredible...” he whispered, but he was interrupted when Gajeel came back into the room and tossed a shirt into his face. “Put it on. Get up. We're going to do get your magic back on track, and after that we're gonna do some training.” the man said, grinning aggressively while he said that. Enma swallowed audibly and put on the shirt.

“Thank you ever so much.” Enma said, making a small bow for Levy and Mirajane. The latter answered: “It wasn't a problem. It was the right thing to do.” With a smile, Enma thanked them again and left the room. “What a strange boy...” Levy said. “He told us magic didn't exist where he was from. That it was just a myth.” Mirajane sighed and said: “We'll have to ask him about it later, then. Now, I think it's the best idea to take a look at what he and Gajeel are doing, before Gajeel hammers his skull in.”

Enma followed Gajeel through the building, until eventually, they arrived in what seemed to be the main hall. Many people were there, drinking and laughing, some of them even singing. “What exactly is this... Fairy Tail?” Enma asked Gajeel. “Hmpf. You really are from a distant place, aren't you?” the man asked. Enma nodded. “Fine then. Fairy Tail is one of the many magical guilds spread throughout Fiore. Above all, it is known for being destructive. Most people don't like us, but almost all the members see the people here as the closest thing they have to a family. I, on the other hand, find the people here annoying, loud, and dumb.”

Enma kept quiet at what Gajeel just told him. He had never heard of a country named Fiore, and he wasn't sure if he wasn't imagining everything. He pinched himself and let out a small 'ouch' as the pain confirmed he wasn't dreaming. So this was all real. He'd see what would happen later on. Once they stepped outside, they had apparently reached the courtyard of the building. The courtyard had been emptied, and Gajeel walked towards a small man who was standing in the center of the yard. “Master, the kid we found.”

The small man gave Gajeel a thumbs up and said: “Thanks, Gajeel.” Then he turned to Enma. “Your name was Enma, right?” the small man asked. Enma nodded. “Okay then, Enma, my name is Makarov and I am the guild master of Fairy Tail. I heard you are a mage but do not know anything about magic, is that correct?” Enma was quiet for a moment and then answered: “Erm... I don't know anything about magic, that's for sure, but I don't know if I'm a mage at all...”

“Oooh?” Makarov said, and stretched out his hand towards Enma. “Maybe you forgot about it. Oh, besides, here's the ring we found on your finger. Chances are you are a Holder Mage, meaning you use a magical item to channel your magic.” he said. “Ooh! My Shimon ring! Thank you very much, Makarov-san!” The tiny man chuckled. “No need to thank me, Enma. Now, take my hand and concentrate.” Enma did as he was asked, and after a few moments, Makarov started nodding furiously. “Oh, young man, you certainly are a mage, and a strong one at that. Well then, let's see if we can get your magic working. Start with the basics. Reach out with your hand and try to form your will into something tangible.”

Enma recognised those words. That was the same way one would form a Dying Will Flame! Hoping magic would really function the same way, he stuck out his hand and concentrated. After a few moments of concentration, a small, black orb formed into his hand. It really did work just like his Dying Will Flame of Earth! Taking a wide stance, he stretched out his arms and concentrated. “Super Gravita Black Hole” he shouted, initiating his most powerful Earth Flame Technique, though he kept it toned down so he wouldn't destroy the entire guild hall. Soon, two black holes formed on his hands, sucking up some of the yard's sandy floor, and sucking in air too, creating a powerful wind. With a small smile, Enma closed his hands, and the black holes disappeared. “This is just like the Dying Will flames...” he mumbled. “I cannot thank you enough, Makarov-san.” he said, making another small bow.

“Good. Enma, how would you like to stay with us for a short while until you've found a way to return to your home?” Makarov asked. Enma's eyes widened. He had nowhere to go in this strange land, and now this person offered him shelter and food until he would find a way back. “Certainly! Thank you so much, Makarov-san!” The tiny guild master smiled. “Okay then. Gajeel, would you see to it that Enma gets a chamber in the guest quarters?” The man nodded and beckoned for Enma to follow.

What had the young Shimon Boss gotten himself into now?

White hair swayed in the winds as the figure crossed over the mountain. He was wearing a white cloak over his otherwise plain clothing. Cold blue eyes stared over Mt. Hakobe as the brisk winds caused the cloak to flap around his legs. He took in a deep breath of air, the thin morning air filling his lungs. The young man was here on the mountain for the sake of exploration, being an adventurer who wanted to be everywhere except for the place he was a second ago.

But today, there was another reason. He had sensed something, something strange. A mage, yet at the same time not. He could smell him from where he was, and the smell was off. Not just like he wasn't from this country -he had been in many places outside of Fiore- but like he was not of this very world. Finding his interests piqued, he decided to check it out. He was now nearing the location, going by smell alone. The closer he got, the more he was sure that this thing he smelled was not of this world.

He crossed a thin ridge before arriving in the place he was looking for. A small hollow in the side of the mountain where a man was lying, slumped against the rocky walls. His cheeks were stubbly, and he seemed around thirty years old, with his hair being two colors, green at the front and black at the back. He looked strange, since he was not wounded at all, but did look almost as if he was dead. The white-haired man picked the other up and slung him across his shoulder, quickly descending the mountain to bring him to a place where he could get medical assistance.
Ganauche opened his eyes, groaning as he made an attempt to sit upright, but found himself pushed down again by an urgent hand. "You need rest." a stern, but young voice said. The 9th's Lightning Guardian really was feeling shitty, that was for sure. It was like something had sucked all of the energy out of him, and some more sleep didn't seem like a bad prospect. Still, he had to know where he was. For all he knew, the 9th was in danger. His safety was priority.

"Where am I?" he asked weakly but urgently, meeting the eyes of the person next to him. He was clothed in plain white, with white hair and eerily cold blue eyes. "You're in the Lamia Scale Guild, but I don't think you know what that is, do you?" he said. He was right. Ganauche had no idea what that was. "Where am I? What country is this?" he asked, stronger this time. His energy was coming back already. The man with the blue eyes gave a faint smirk, if it was even that.

"Belladonna. Fiore." he said, leaning his head on his hand. "But you don't know those either, I suppose." Again, correct. the Guardian thought. Who was this guy? "From your expression I can see I was right." The man sighed. "You're either suffering from heavy amnesia, or not from this world." Ganauche sat up straight this time. "Wait, wait, wait, not from this world? What the hell do you mean?" he said loudly, almost shouting.

"What I mean is, you were brought to this plane of existence through means unknown to both you and me. The thing is, we believe there are dark forces at work here. I could smell dark magic hanging over you like a thick blanket. But let me guess, you think magic is a fairy tale, don't you?" the man said nonchalantly, like he was talking about the most normal thing ever. Ganauche, however, was completely confused. Magic? What the hell? "Look kid, I don't have time for your mumbo jumbo play, I need to find the Ninth, pronto." he said, moving to get out of the bed. The man let him, this time, but as soon as he was on his feet, he staggered and fell down on his backside.

"You're too weak to move. You'll just have to stay, and I will explain about this world you are in. There has been a reported case like yours a few hours earlier, but we shall move on to that later." The cold blue eyes met Ganauche's. "I'll start with my name. I am Nathaniel Grantz, mage of the Lamia Scale guild, and you have arrived in a world of magic and wonders, my friend."
