Account Name: 栄 Levy-Chan
Name: Xiu Hui-ying Nickname: Age: 19 Gender: Female Height: 5'8 Weight: 115lbs. Guild: Grimoire Heart Class: D Affiliation: Dark
Physical Description: Xiu has very light-blond hair that would be long and flowing if she didn't keep it up in two black hair decorations which give her side, spiked twin-tails. Her hair on the back of her head goes down to the bottom of her neck in a choppy fashion. The bangs are choppy and cover her thin eyebrows. At the edge of either side of her face hair goes down, framing the face, to her upper torso. Her face is diamond shaped, with a petite nose. Xiu's dark green eyes could be compared to pine needles in color. The dark green eyes are bright and alert always looking around. Her skin is a light brown color, comparable to a dark tan. From a distance a person could tell by looking at her face that she's energetic, but definitely plotting something.
Xiu's body is slim. Her torso is rather small and most of her height comes from her long legs. Her skin has no blemishes and is has a healthy tone. Her bust is a little smaller then the average, which keeps in line with her athletic body. Xiu does rigorous training and exercise to keep her body in top shape so she'll be able to adjust to any situation. Her body is nicely curved and others would describe her as attractive and sexy.
Clothing: Xiu’s attire is kept very simple. She doesn’t like to dress heavily as it weighs her down. She’ll normally wear a tight dress that goes down to her mid-calf. The sides have high slits going up to her thigh while the fabric covering the front and back stay loose and free-flowing. The collar is firm and down the front center is a white line which goes off to the left at and angle once it reaches the hollow of the neck. The top of the collar and the ends of the dress sleeve have a white trim on them. The sleeve of the dress goes about a quarter of the way to the elbow and has a triangular cut in it. The dress will usually be a light or dark purple, black, white, or red.
Another outfit Xiu has been known to wear is very similar to the first. The length is much shorter with the front ending a quarter of the way down her thigh. The back part of the dress going down to her mid-thigh. The same high slits are still there, going up the thigh. The sleeves of this dress are much longer, and looser covering her whole arm, and drooping at the wrist a bit. Over the tight torso of the dress she wear a loose jacket. The sleeves of the shirt go a quarter of the way down to her elbow and have a white trim on the end. The collar of the jacket is firm and covers her neck, other then and open rectangular spot in the front, with a white trim along the edge. The jacket’s torso goes down to where her ribcage ends. The jacket is held closed by two thin straps, about an inch in length, placed a little less then half way down the torso. The jacket has white trim all around the bottom and up the center of it. She’ll normally wear this outfit in the same colors as the other. Xiu will wear black slippers with both of her outfits.
Accessories: ~ Both of the outfits she’ll wear will include a cloth tail, about ten feet long. On the back of both outfits about wear the spin ends is a small, inch long, strap that the tail is threaded through. The tail hangs, perfectly divided on both sides, down to her ankles and can be easily removed. ~ With the second outfit she’ll wear leggings that go up to mid-thigh. Extra: N/A Picture:

Personality Xiu is a very cynical person. She doesn’t trust anyone, though she may act like she does. Her thoughts are almost never about others, but when they are they’re about how to crush them under her foot. She enjoys being in charge and will usually plot to get it. To her no one is unbeatable and everyone has a weakness. Her first priority when meeting new people is finding the quickest way to take them down and get them out of her way. She’s always calm and never doing things on an impulse. She’s confident in herself and her abilities, sure that she can overcome any situation.
When fighting with others she’ll never play around. Getting in their face and making decisive moves to beat them, though she does prefer a more cloak and dagger approach. She’ll hesitate about nothing as it shows weakness in a decision and hates it when others do it. She can hold grudges a long time and is not one to let things go. Murdering others isn’t something she’s opposed to doing, but won’t normally do it, despite the rush she gets from being able to watch someone’s soul leave their body. Xiu isn’t one to let her emotions show. The face most will get is her apathetic stare. It’s her most common as rarely anything will get a rise out of her.
A leader at heart, Xiu wants and prefers to have people work under her. Never a democracy when she’s in charge. It’s her way or nothing. Unless she’s in charge Xiu will normally avoid group actions. The rare times she’ll play second fiddle would be when she appreciates another persons goals or motives.
History
History Xiu was born into a very small town in western Fiore. She was the oldest of three children and she was the only girl. Her parents were kind to her, always smiling and asking about her day. Her mom, Jade, was the best when it came to making cakes. Even people in big cities knew of her and the amazing cakes she could make. When Xiu turned eight her mom made a triple layer, red velvet cake. It was round in shape and had white icing all over it in different designs. It was beautiful and it was almost a shame that she had to eat it. It was the best cake she had ever had. It was sweet and very smooth texture. She savored every bite as it was truly the perfect day.
Her dad, Lix, was a very scholarly person. He had a whole room filled with just books, not even a place to sit down. Book of all different colors and sizes took up all the walls and most of the floor. Stacks were abundant across the floor and her mom refused to go in there as it made her feel claustrophobic. He was tall and slim. He looked like he would be brittle and old, but he was really about twenty-eight. He told her stories about Fiore, some fairy tales, some real legends. She was always captivated by them as he was an excellent story teller. He even had most of them memorized so at any point one could ask him and he would recite the whole thing from memory.
Some time after her eighth birthday Xiu started to get a weird feeling. All her life she had been so happy, so content. There was nothing to complain about and while that should have been ideal something felt missing. Xiu kept these feelings to herself, not knowing what to do with them herself. She thought about them constantly, trying to figure out why she felt this emptiness despite the fact everything in her life was fulfilling. It wasn’t until one late night where she couldn’t sleep that the answer came to her. Her life was boring. It was too happy, it had too little grief. Life was no fun with out the up’s and down’s. Right then she felt as if her life hadn’t been going anywhere, it hadn’t gone up as she was still where she was eight years ago and it hadn’t gone down as she was still in the same place as eight years ago. Nothing changed, her life was a boring constant. She kept thinking about going even further, realizing that her life hadn’t even started. If it was on a graph then for the first eight years of her life a straight line would be seen going across the X-axis.
Her questions answered she rolled around the rest of the night wondering what to do about her life. It was clear to her that she needed a tragedy to occur. Happiness was easy to come by, but a good tragedy was rare. It had to be something big to make up for eight years of blandness. What would be a huge tragedy for her though? She could throw herself out of the second story window, that would cause her some pain. Though why cause direct pain to herself? That was a stupid idea. She needed to do something that would not physically hurt her, but still give her the grief she desired. A death to someone close to her was the first thing to come to mind. Though all of her friends were in good health and even the few elderly people she knew had been old for awhile now. They just refuse to die when it’s convenient for others. Since no one was going to be nice enough to die on their own accord she would have to cause it herself. Xiu couldn’t bring herself stab someone though, it was too personal that way. Setting the house on fire would be the easiest way to do it. The house would burn and then if they happened to be inside of it then they would die as well. It actually was great that way, double tragedies. Though, there was a chance they could escape.
Xiu remedied this as she figured all she needed to do was block their doors. The house was a small two story one. It had only one window on the second floor and that was in the hallway. They were rarely ever up there as the only thing upstairs were the bedrooms so her parents never put another one in. She silently moved tables and dressers around to the hallway and then in front of her parents and brothers doors. She gave hem a good shake to see if they would move and when they stood firm she left to the down stairs. To starts a big fire she was going to need something to get it started. She took a book of matches and lighter fluid, making sure to spray it around the interior before going outside. It was well into the night and all her neighbors should be asleep. She went around the edge of her home, thoroughly soaking it in lighter fluid until she came back around to the front door. Anyone could smell the vapors coming off it. The overwhelming scent that would make one think the place would explode in flames at the littlest spark. Xiu struck a match and held in front of her, watching it burn for a second. She could abandon the idea right now and just go back to sleep, but then she would have to go through the rest of her life, not being able to enjoy the happiness it should have brought her. Her realization would force her to look at it now, and only see it as boring and bland. She stretched her arm towards the house and the vapors ignited. Instantly her house became a fireball.
Right then she wasn’t sure how she should feel. Xiu had just set her home on fire with her parents and brothers inside it.. They were all going to die, and some part of her wanted to wake everyone up and try and save them, but the half that just wanted to stand there and watch it burn won out. The heat coming off it was incredible, she probably should have backed up, but she couldn’t move. It wasn’t shock over having her family burn to death, so much as it was the strange, lethal beauty fire had. It was pretty the way it made the building crumble, surrounded in the intense heat of red-orange flames. The ceiling fell in first. That was an unexpected plus. Xiu had figured that the ceiling would be that last to fall on them and finish the job, but it falling first may be better. It definitely would hurt them and the chances they would escape. A short bit after the fall in one could notice the wood bending and darkening. The fire had a few wild embers go out and caught onto a few trees before quickly burning out. She hadn’t thought about the surrounding area when she started this. If it caught on fire and burned everything else down would that be too much tragedy at once? It was a mute question as the fire stayed very contained, just on the house.
When it was around the point where the second floor crashed into the first people started to make a commotion about the fire. Apparently the sounds of floors crashing and the bright light of the flames woke up the neighbors. The ran with buckets of water and even a few small time mages tried using water magic on it, but it was too late. The first floor was all the way left and even that was almost completely incinerated. Slowly, the next door neighbor, Michelle, went next to Xiu and put an comforting arm around her. She asked how was Xiu feeling. It was a question she herself was trying to ask. It definitely pained her to burn down her family and emotions like grief and sadness were filling her, but there was one that topped them all. Xiu was feeling elated. She was elated that this had caused her to be sad, though her face showed otherwise. It means that she was right. Having tragedies was a way to spice up her life. Though now that she had no place to live and no one to live with one of the kinder neighbors would probably try and take her in. They would be thinking of it as a good thing, but that option would mot likely lead back to her old, boring, life. A crowd had gathered to stare at the burned building, perhaps silently taking it all in, making themselves realize that it was real and was had actually happened. During this stunned time Xiu slipped out through the crowd and ran from the village. She had no idea where she was going, but more tragedy had to be out there and she had to get it.
After running about a mile she came to the next town. It was in the early hours of dawn, the sun only half up. This town was bigger then her village to the point where a circus stopped in it. She walked through the streets, some early risers giving her weird stares. They were probably wondering who she was, but didn’t think it important enough to stop what they were doing and ask. Xiu wandered around and ended up in front of where the circus had set up. It was early, but she could see light from one of the large tents and decided to pry inside it. An large man was walking around the inside of the ring, looking up at the stands. He had a pear shaped body and no hair under his purple top hat. He wore a very colorful suit in shades of magenta and purple. She silently walked down the stairs and hoped over he small barrier into the ring with him. He greeted her and after a slight explanation about why she was here he let her join the circus. He then went on to introduce himself as John Price and explained to her what kind of circus this was. John explained how while people wanted the traditional circus, which was only a part of their overall show, they also wanted a variety of things. People don’t want to go to multiple places to see multiple things if they can help it. The Circus Pandora included a lot of different events ranging from hilarious clown acts, to intense battles between people. They offered small plays and chefs who put on a show while cooking.
With a wave of his hand the empty ground in front of them became words of different events they had. She would have to pick one to join it. The options were so huge, but most of them seemed to be happy events. Magic acts, Performing with animals, none of those offered anything negative. Xiu read Sparring Royale and got a different vibe from it. That option would probably be the best. She knew none of these people and would have no problem beating them until the were unconscious or better, dead. That would be a tragedy and would better effect her line on the graph. She let John know that she wanted to participate in that one. He eyed her skeptically and agreed, but with the condition she had to participate in the acrobatics portion as well since they were really low on people. They shook hands and he escorted her to the tent that held the Battle Royale members. There weren’t as many as she had thought there to be. He explained it, saying that everyone thought they’re the best, but it usually ends up to where they’re the worse, so we only let in the few that can really cut it and really give the crowd a good show.
He left her in there after introducing her to the only three in the room at that time. He told the only female there, Mai Fong, to teach her some fighting skills. Mai didn’t look to be too happy about it, but took Xiu aside and started to teach her some things. She taught her internal fist styles to start as Xiu was young and wouldn’t be able to fight on par with the others strength wise. A main thing she focused on was Kyusho Jitsu to disable an enemy by hitting their pressure points to cause pain in a certain spot, to cause a reflex, or to render a person unconscious. After a good understanding of that she moved onto Baguazhang style to actually fight. The quick movements suited her well and after a few years of practicing both of the styles Xiu became fairly skilled at them. Her and Mai Fong started to spar with each other outside of the ring. After practicing for five years Xiu was almost at Mai’s level.
During this time she spent training with Mai she also started some gymnastics. It was to help her flexibility, coordination, and maybe her actual fighting ability. Originally she thought gymnastics would be simple to do, but it became very complicated. She had no training so they had to start her out with just learning how to improve her balance and coordination. The person teaching her was Ju-Dai, the best gymnast in the circus who could easily perform all the acts by herself. After a few months of balance and coordination practice she started to teach Xiu how to do the basics of actual gymnastics. She learned cartwheels and somersaults in about two months and could pull them off without even thinking about it. Xiu learned how to do flips, handstands, and even how to bend her body so the flats of her feet were on top of her head. Doing both this and her training with Mai helped Xiu exceed in both her areas.
She continued at this level for another six years, eventually becoming a better fighter then Mai and even showing up Ju-Dai at gymnastics once and awhile. Though some times she won through the use of her magic. Her magic could read others minds as well as do other things. It had only recently started to develop, but it was enough to at least read the unsuspecting minds of others. Xiu would secretly practice it, honing it, as she saw it could be used for an extraordinary advantage. The skills she'd obtained helped her move from just those two acts to helping others out in their acts. She would help the clowns be silly and the acting group better perform the fight scenes. It wasn’t long until Xiu started to feel the same bland happiness as before. She didn’t know when this happened, but somehow she came to accept these people to be as close as family. She didn’t want to go back to that, she wanted her life to be exciting and this wasn’t exciting any longer. It had become a bit of a routine, seeing the same people all the time, seeing them all be happy and everyone getting along. Xiu would have to burn the place down again, and get back onto the road of tragedies. The object to burn was too big this time and the people in it were too skilled to be killed in a simple arson.
Taking a month to plan it, Xiu had managed to find a dark guild just outside of the town. They were small, but thought they were all powerful. Xiu could see that they would only stay small-time crooks, but they could at least do this much. She hired them on a money-after-the-job-is-done contract. They were foolish enough to accept the offer. A few days of planning afterwords and the circus had a large show. It was spectacular. The stands were packed and every gesture the performers did was masterful. That night would have most certainly been a good profit for the circus, but a good way to spread its name, at least until Xiu's plan went into action. About halfway through the night, when the acrobats were flipping through the air, the elaborate trap set up by Xiu and the dark guild sprung. It started with them jumping up and surprising the audience members causing a mass panic. Xiu slyly made her way to the exit. It was a cool outside as she quickly made her way to the predetermined spot. The spot was supposed to be were the trigger to the Tonatiuh Flames, which were previously prepared around the circus area. The dark guild was too weak to actually be able to deal with all the people inside. The other members would be able to deal with them even if they knew magic, so there job, unbeknownst to them, was to stall and confuse them until she had triggered the fire.
Finding the trigger and pressing it, Xiu activated the searing white flames. They erupted from the ground around the temple and soared at least twenty-five feet into the air. The flames near the top would start to bend inward at the tip and continued to bend until all the perimeters tips touched. This formed a dome-like shape of white flames around the circus. The flames began to slowly close in, shrinking in size, but not in strength. It shrunk until the flames disappeared from sight and all that was there was a black ash structure of what used to be her home. In the back of her mind she knew that some people had survived. At least some of the people from the circus did, they were freakishly strong. Even so they had to be badly wounded. Xiu turned and after finding her things that she had left there in advance, began to wander. She had no real goal, nothing to do. She thought about finding another place where she could live, but crushed that idea as the bland feeling was sure to creep back that way. Happiness was contagious after all. Once she got it her life would be bland and sad. It was then that the idea came to her. If happiness was contagious and misery defeated it then all she would have to do is spread misery to all. With that everyone could have an interesting life with ups and downs. Even those down on their luck could always be worse off so when something worse happened to them they would be thankful just to be back where they started. It made perfect sense to her. If everyone is miserable then they are having an interesting life. An interesting life meant that you were living a good life. That would be her mission. Xiu decided that she would cause misery to all so that all could live a good life.

Magic Name: Inception Magic Type: Mental Magic Tier of Magic: T1 Rank: 3 Magic Description: Xiu's magic is based around manipulating trance waves. Trace waves are essentially thought waves. They can be effected directly effected by the environment and are also very transparent, meaning that those with an average eyesight would have a tough time seeing it. These waves can be hardened and crystallized so that they are useable and manipulable. Things such as spying, mind reading, telepathic communication, and more are possible. Xiu mainly uses her magic to do recon work and surprise attack enemies. Though it can be used for it she'll not use her magic for direct combat. Techniques: 6/6 + (4 earned + 2 bought)
Mind Jack - 3 Type: Supportive Effect: Creating a two-pronged weapon that's five feet in length from tip to string. The weapon is on a string and both are made out of trance waves which lets Xiu access the minds of others. The weapon is fairly fragile where only a strong punch or slice of the blade could break it. At it's current level she can only read thoughts that a person has had in the last twenty minutes, but can grow to be able to communicate with that person and even further to even plant ideas into a persons mind. The end of the pronged weapon has to be attached to the person's skull. Once it is connected the effects can be used. If the connection is lost by breaking either the connection piece or the string then the effects end.
Rank Progression Rank 1: Can establish a one way mental communication link with 1 person within 10 meters of her. Lasts four turns with a three turn cooldown.
Rank 2: Can establish a one way mental communication link with one person within 25 meters of her. Can enter a person persons mind while sleeping or while they are extremely fatigued. She could only see what they are thinking, not actually look around their mind. Lasts five turns with a four turn cooldown.
Rank 3: Enables the user to communicate with multiple people at once, equal to (stamina divided by 10)+1 as long as they are within 50 meters of her. Lasts six turns with a five turn cooldown.
Rank 4: Enables the user to communicate telepathically with multiple people at once, equal to (stamina divided by 10)+1 as long as they are within 100 meters of her. Can forcibly enter a persons minds while they are sleeping or extremely fatigued and can explore their full mind. Afterwords she can receive random thoughts from their mind even during the day. Lasts seven posts with a six post cooldown.
Rank 5: Using this spell allows the user to send images over a mental connection she has established with another person or people within 200 meters of her. These images are of what the user can see or has seen. Upon receiving the image, the person can see it in their head. Lasts eight posts with a six post cooldown.
Rank 6: Using this spell allows the user to send images and even emotions over a mental connection he has established with another person. These images and emotions can be either of what she can see or feel, or they can belong to a person who's mind she has entered previously. Upon receiving the image or emotion, the person can see it in their head, or feel it, or both. The Mind Jack will increase in durability to that of a C-Rank armor.Range: 400 meters. Lasts eight posts with a five post cooldown.
Rank 7: Using this spell allows the user to 'download' information from the minds of those she invades- willingly or otherwise. This information consists of simple things like Name, Height, Weight, Sexual Preference, Likes and Dislikes Range: 750 meters. Lasts nine posts with a five post cooldown.
Rank 8: Using this spell allows the user to 'download' information from the minds of those she invades- willingly or otherwise. This consists of more detailed information such as Alignment, Home Town, names of Family and Friends and Enemies and their History. Range: 1250 meters. Lasts nine posts with a four post cooldown.
Rank 9: At this rank, the user is able to upload information into the targets mind. This can be used to temporarily overwrite existing information for a period of time- turning enemies into allies and turning allies against each other. The user of this technique is able to do this to multiple targets at once at a rate of (Stamina/20)+1. Range: 2500. Lasts nine posts with a three post cooldown.
Rank 10: At this rank the user can establish a connection (upload, download, telepathy) with someone in a separate topic so long as she has had a mental connection with them before. The effects of overwriting someones information lasts for the duration of the thread at this rank and any downloaded information can be imprinted onto solid inanimate objects in print form (e.g. paper, a walls etc) in any size so long as it can fit on the chosen medium. Lasts nine posts with a two turn cooldown.
Mind Jack: Insanity Scythe - 3 Type: Offensive Range: Two to six feet from her Effect: Crystallizing the trance waves, Xiu can create a D-Rank scythe out of them. The blade would be twelve inches in length and be attached to a four foot handle. This weapon can cut with strength similar to an iron blade, but at the same time is very fragile. Xiu will use this blade in an attacking motion to deceive enemies. The blade of crystallized trance will shatter fairly easily or if she wills it. The shattered trance waves will release a blast with a diameter of eight feet. If the blade were to break within a few inches a persons body at this rank then they would feel the force of an average punch directly at their mind. This blast does not effect her. This skill has the potential to evolve from just a blast of trance waves to actually implementing illusions at the exact time of breaking so that an opponent can be trapped before they even realize it. Lasts three posts. Has a two post cooldown.
