Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Reuniclus was going to be in my team soon, because Musharna is rly, rly properly bad compared to my other pokemon. And haxourus is my favourite so far, but I need to GET to where I can catch one xD I hope I can catch it.

And ty for the advice actually. I want to Total this game without legendaries for once xD My friend is like "Kathie can't do ANYTHING without legendaries!" Which ofc I hate hate HATE!

Haxorus is easy to obtain, the Master shall help you:

-Head to Chargestone Cave from the South Entrance but DO NOT ENTER!!!
-Walk down and to your right into the Double Grass.
-Surf into the water and head right as far as you can.
-If you hit a rock, go to the other side, walk to your right, then get surfing again!
-Surf to your right and you shall reach a cave...
-THE CAVE OF WONDERS!
-No but seriously it's Mistralton cave and you can catch Axew in there. Bring Flash
-And if you go deep enough into the cave you can get a Legendary anyway :P

AXEW WILL BE MINE! Problem is, Ten Ten, that you're hubris is becoming far larger than your skill xD Although, I'm glad I haz Ten ten because, as we all know, Japanese people know pokemon like the British know a pint of beer xD

not rly, I just need help formulating a team, mostly because I suck at covering weaknesses. However, I'm more than happy to accept the advice of others on training if you have any. I usually train on pokemon close to my pokemon's level until it's 5 levels above the gym leader now, even though I know that I could probably pwn them 5 levels lower. Oh well, I like to be very very sure...for some reason.

5 levels isn't bad for the E4 but you might want to go up to 10 to make sure, especially against Zekrom/Reshiram afterwards.

As for your team, based on your current group I'd suggest:

-Reuniclus
-Braviary
-Haxorus
-Carracosta/Jellicent
-Scrafty
-Eelektross

Replace Krookodile, Stoutland and Musharna fo' sho.
As for training, like I said North of Icirrus, south of Dragonspiral is a great place especially with Lucky Egg equipped. But Victory Road is quite good in this gen too.

That's a nice team :o But Carrascosts is my defensive guy. His attack and defence are 100+ and rly helpful when fighting pokemon that use physical moves due to the implementation of Curse. But the other suggestions are awesome! Scrafty looks a bit...meh though. I hate Scrafty's look. And yet, I could probably replace with Meinfoo right?

Mienshao is completely awesome with Drain Punch and Regenerator.
Seriously, pwns everyone.
The reason I said Scrafty was for the -Dark subtyping though.

And the reason I said Jellicent was because Jellicent is such a tank for Special Defense nobody can touch it, and if you get one with Cursed Body it'll temporarily disable anyone who does touch it which rocks.

Also it looks like the guy from the Pringles can :P

Oh about something you said before; if you want a good Fire type why don't you go get Larvesta and evolve it?

A few questions...

Why Mienshao wasn't my first choice? It's perfect for what I have planned, and it looks kind cool! I want one o3o I'm gonna catch one tonight. I'm gonna catch all of them rly and try out the different combos before going for the pokemon league.

Second, is what's a Lavesta?

Third, Jellicent is good for facing the Ghost Elite four i guess thanks to high Sp Defence and Cursed Body. However, how do we compensate for the Super Effective?

Iiiiiiin order:

  • #1: Mienshao wasn't the first choice as it's very frail and solely typed, no -Dark to cover the Psychic Weakness.

  • #2: Larvesta... seriously? Only a Fire-Bug type pokemon that evolves into a pokemon that can have one of the top 3 highest special attacks in the Unova Region: VOLCARONA!

  • #3: Jellicent easily compensates the *2 Ghost weakness against the Ghost E4 due to:
-2 of her pokemon are super-weak to water attacks (-Ground and -Fire subtypes) so a sweep is very possible.
-Most Ghost attacks are Specially typed so with Jellicent's insane Sp. Def it still wont take that much damage.
-Other Ghosts are also *2 weak to Ghost attacks so it's an equal trade-off against the Straight-Ghost and other Jellicent the Ghost E4 has.
