I personally think legendaries are best because of their high stats and powerful moves. In general, legendaries are good for nuking the enemy in one vs one combat, even though i can't use them in places like the battle Tower, I always use Semi-Ubers like Garchomp or Salamence, because then I'm able to nuke the enemy. I'm all about destroying the enemy in one hit, which makes legendaries perfect for me! ^3^ |

...Izanami-da, what did I unleash! Legendaries are cheap douchebags in combat outside of the actual game for several reasons but it can be summed up in three: -Ridiculous Stats -Ridiculous Movesets -Ridiculous Abilities. Battle online and unless you start using Legendaries you will learn to hate them unless you force tier in PO or unless you make a No Legends ruling in official fights. In-game they're fine, Online they suck. |

Online? I always play on my own or with friends, mostly because I was unwilling to play Online because I always get my ass handed to me. But it's not the legendaries fault! It's my fault for being a rubbish trainer! |

No it's the- OK yes and no, you are a rubbish trainer (:P) but the Legendaries are also cheap d-bags with movepools that are frankly ridiculous. Try Pokemon Online sometime, people with Legendaries are assholes. |

I've never wanted to go on pokemon Online, there are scary trainers there xD And I'm kind of a weakling normally, as in I struggle to beat gym leaders with my pokemon when I use normal ones. So, I grab a legendary and Taa-daah, I can proceed through the story unhindered! It doesn't matter on Online to me because I don't play online! :P |

Well Legendaries are fine in normal gameplay since they're used for story enhancement or just to be boss, but in online gameplay they suck, trust me. What team did you end up with for Pokemon Black/White btw? |

Fairly good though I hate Stoutland and Musharna. I'd also advise branching out a bit, the E4 this Gen is very sub-typed so you want coverage for Dark/Psychic/Ground/Ghost rather than the traditional Water/Fire/etc. |

i wanted a fire pokemon, but I haven't found any but Risheram, and he's not exactly my favourite. I want Lampent, but it evolves so slowly and I don't know who in my team to replace with a Lampent. Not to mention it's very late in the game to go switching what type of pokemon I want to use against the Elite Four. I want to train all these current ones to 55 before I start switching up my team a bit. It's how I work; complete the game then fiddle around with the teaming a bit :P |

Well Musharna is frankly terrible compared to Reuniclus so that's always something to consider. I'd advise switching Lampent/Chandelure (if you evolve) for Stoutland since... well it's equally bad. Haxorus is a good choice and a solid pokemon in general. Mienshao and Scrafty as well, both excellent fighting types and easy to train, and Scrafty is a bonus with the -Dark subtype. Plus Lucky Egg+Terrain outside Icirrus City/Dragonspiral Tower = Super Exp. GOGOGO |
