Ok stray, I would like to introduce you to a concept called statistics. It is where things happen a certain percentage of a time. Just because something is likely to happen doesn't mean it would. Now if an abortion is being recommended it means that ON AVERAGE the risk of the birth is greater then the risk of abortion, however as with all percentages things will fall on both ends., Also did you even read that Africa article you sent us, it said abortions are safe unless done poorly and it was describing that in Africa they are being done poorly. that report u linked even says this: "One good example is South Africa, where – just six years after the country liberalized its abortion laws – the number of women dying from unsafe abortion dropped by 50%, and the number of women suffering serious complications fell dramatically as well." Exactly. You're putting your body through huge changes. Some people are not ready to have a baby- they mess up. Not everyone is willing to put themselves through huge amount of pain. I don't think people legit understands what happens to a woman's body during pregnancy. It's not so easy to go through 9 months of a pregnancy and then give up the child for adoption. It's never that easy. It's never black and white. I'm pro-choice. Spoiler: click to toggle
