Do you think Abortion is right, should it be allowed and if not, why? |

I believe it is the choice of the woman, it is their right to decide what happens to them and their body and whether they think they are capable of taking care of a baby, no point bringing a person into existence that will not be loved or taken care of properly. |

Agreed, pro-choice is pro-women. And women rule. Edited by Tenken, May 18 2011, 10:52 PM.

I think they have the right to go with it or not. They have the free will, like you guys just said. I just think it's wrong because I still think of it as murder. But oh well, it's their blood on their hands. They'll just have to live with it. P.S. Expect Religion comments from other people on this thread. |

No that would be murder. I am not anti choice or anti women ; I am pro life. If women didn't want a baby they shouldn't have had sex in the first place.

Although I'm against it, I do think there should b exceptions, such as if the woman was raped ect |

I think the woman should be able to choose. If a baby is had unexpectingly in bad situations, then multiple lives could be ruined. Of course, I think circumstances should be looked into |

well a baby isnt a baby until a certain time in the pregnancy so your not really killing it.... but i think woman should be able to choose. As for arguing about it yeah i will steer clear xD i have my beliefs but i choose to believe them and i dont think shoving them down people's throats is a good idea. anyway +1 to the yes in the poll |

Abortion isn't murder, here's why: Murder is defined legally as:
Let's go through the check-list: -Is a fetus a human being? Technically no, they may have neural function at certain stages but in no way have they developed conscious yet. How do we know? Neural scans show that the brain pathways that light up during the presentation of a stimulus to an unborn child do not light up in any way to signify the same pathways as a conscious human, even a born baby differs from an unborn one in stimulus response. -Abortions however are only legal until a certain time. This in turn adds to the fact that the being in question is not conscious and therefore not technically a human being. -Is there malicious aforethought? Technically in most cases no, there is no malice. Aforethought yes, but malice, no. -Is there a detriment to the good order of society? In what way would their be? No child has been brought into the world and so no social bounds have been placed upon it. Basically, Abortion isn't murder therefore... yeah. |
