Hey everyone! It's May and you know what that means? Yeah, me neither. There's not a whole lot in terms of major news right now, except for maybe some clarification on some forms of magic like usual. As for a new event? Right now, we're just having the April Event (Bosco Invasion part 3) taking place, which runs into the middle of May. But, one cool new thing that we're introducing this month is SS-Class items. Now you have something to grind and agonize over! Yay, isn't that just lovely? I think so. You can find more info on that in the Equipment and Item Creation section in the rules. That's it for now, folks! If I get anything new to add to this you can guarantee that I will do so. In the words of the immortal douchebag rival, "Smell ya later." Keep on RPing everyone! Kill some Boscans! ~The FTG Staff~ Fairy Tail RPG |

As they looked around the camp area, Astria would soon spot a decent spot fit for camping. "I think here will be good." "I agree." Relyk walked closer to Astria, making sure to stay close in-case accident were to arise. As he stepped closer, he would remove his back pack, emptying he contents on the ground. Two blankets, a sleeping bag, a pillow, several throwing knifes, and a lantern would lay across the ground. He decided to keep his rations in his bag, making sure the two newly found friends would have food. "You see anything we could use for a fire? "Hm, no, but I'll go find some. Stay safe, If anything attacks, or theres an emergency, scream. I will not hesitate to find you." Relyk said, now walking closer to Astria. He placed his hands on her shoulders, and looked into her eyes, now standing just only inches away. He leaned in, embracing her for a few seconds. He then released his grasp on her, and ran off into the blizzard. His body went numb as he endured the elements. He took small breaths, attempting to stay warm. He smiled and summoned his magic. Lightning surrounded him, offering warmth. He sighed as he felt the energy leave his body. "I must admit, that was a foolish move to waste my energy. But, I would of become useless if I didn't keep the blood flowing. I have to think of this as training, it's the only way to survive the cold." As he lost himself in thought, a old pine tree would come into view. He smiled and withdrew his sword, still running. He would jump in the air and attack the tree with his might, slicing the tree into many pieces. As he landed, the wood from the tree would hit the ground with a loud thud. He looked up, a smile on his face. He unwrapped a large amount of rope from his waist and tied it to six-eight pieces of wood (the size of common firewood). After the wood was secured, he would tie the free end of the rope to his left and right arm. He turned around and headed back towards Astria. He sheathed his sword and continued. "I need to get back as fast as possible. When I held her earlier, she was as cold as ice." He thought, now running. The rope would pull at his arms, pinching his skin. He ignored the pain and ran faster, the wood following after him, leaving a trail of snow behind. - 30 minutes later - Relyk soon approached camp, sweat falling from his head. The lightning which had once covered his body was long but gone. His skin tingled, his flesh cold. His eyes were low with fatigue, Relyk now breathing heavily. "Hey, I found some wood for a fire. I hope you're not too cold! I tried my best to bring the wood as fast as possible." He walked to the cave wall and made a pit out of snow after cutting the rope free from his arms. There was a pair of matching marks wrapped around each arm, from the pinching of course. He put his fingers to the marks and winced. His skin was of course irritated and sore. He put it out of his mind and continued with his Pit of snow, making sure to round up the edges with his fingers. He then placed a few of the many logs into the pit. He summoned a bit of his lightning magic and allowed it to make contact with the logs. The wood soon caught fire, the fire now offering warmth and solitude. "Here we are. Are you hungry?" He asked. His finger tips, as well as his palms were bright red. He looked to his hands, sighing in frustration. His face still held it's actual color, but his chest, and arms were just as red as his hands. He knelled by the fire, the warmth from the fire causing mild amounts of pain to spread through his body. He forced a smile and looked up to Astria. Edited by Madge, May 11 2011, 01:29 AM.

She rubbed her arms to get some warmth. It was freezing. At least with a roof the snow wasn't going to directly fall on them. Astria had unpacked her sleeping bag and several long blankets. Looking at them now it didn't seem like they would be enough to keep her warm especially with the night coming. When Relyk got back they could make a fire, but that couldn't last them forever. She thought about it for a while, in between rubbing her shoulder and shivering, and came up with an idea of hanging the blankets from the side of the rock-roof and they could provide some protection from the wind. Digging through her pack again, Astria took out several feet of thick, but flexible wire and a couple small object to use as weights. She unwrapped a bit of the wire and grabbed a blanket. She had to stand on her tiptoes, but was able to lace the wire through the top part of the blanket and using her knife she hammered the ends of the wire into the rock. Now it was like a curtain furiously flowing in the wind. Using two small boxes she weighed down the bottom end and it stayed still with only the middle part blowing in and out. "Hooray!" Astria couldn't help, but exclaim. Sleeping with the thought of turning to a popsicle lessened made her happy. She repeated the steps until the side facing the bottom of the mountain was covered. It took up her spare blankets, but her sleeping bag was insulated, so it should be okay. Taking a glance up the mountain she saw the Reylk hadn't come back so she made spent some time trying to sew shut the gaps in the blanket wall. After a few minutes passed she saw him tugging logs through the snow. Even from here she could see he was tired. "Hey, I found some wood for a fire. I hope you're not too cold! I tried my best to bring the wood as fast as possible." He came into the makeshift sleeping quarters and started to make a pit for the fire. It made her sad. He was clearly in pain, but was only thinking about moving forward and keeping them warm. Relyk put the logs in and using some of his lighting magic made a spark on the wood which spread to a fire.Astria didn't want to say anything because clearly he didn't want anything to be said, but she couldn't help but stare at his irritated skin and bright red fingers. "No, I'm fine. It was all she could do to not to immediately throw every with thread in it at him so he could warm up. She did quickly go to her bag and to get a few things for food. She brought self contained soup, with potatoes and beef, that she could warm-up over the fire. Taking two of those out she offered it as their dinner in response to his question. "I am a bit hungry. I brought these along so we would have something warm and filling to eat. She put them both next to the fire since they lacked the materials to have them over over it. They would still heat up it may take just a bit longer. Astria went on to explain to him that she used some blankets to make a pseudo-wall to protect them from some of the cold. With both the fire and blanket wall up Astria could start to feel something other then near death freezing. She warmed herself by the fire and then moved her bag close enough to it so she could feel the heat, but not be burned. The two were only a third of the way there and it was already so cold. It could only get worse as they climbed. At least no vulcans came and harassed them on their first day. The sun was beginning to set and the navy blue sky started to be stained with hues of yellow, orange, and red. It was pretty, but the twilight only lasted for a little and then the sky went to dark shades of blue while the desert colors retreated with the sun. The sky then grew gradually darker and darker as blue was replaced with black and the onyx sky was punctured with small radiant lights that hung, suspended in space. Astria laid back on her sleeping, before crawling in side it. She was still half eating the soup that turned out to be pretty good considering it was in it's own bowl. [OOC: Hi hi! Gary here, taking over for Ryo!] The two travelers defended themselves from the bitter cold of Mount Hakobe. The fire flickering from the wind flapping in from the makeshift wall. They sated their hunger and restored their morale with the food Astria had provided. What they didn't know was, the smell of the food had traveled, grabbing the attention of a nearby Vulcan, looking for food. Today was his lucky day. The Vulcan followed the smell of food to Astria and Relyk's makeshift camp. Even more happy to see a young lady. In his mind, he now had food, and a wife. He approached them, silver coat hiding him in the snow. He then ambushed them, jumping in front of Astria while she ate. YOU! You give me food, and i make you my wife! He then looked at Relyk I have no use for you, you leave us. He reached out to pick up Astria, attempting to steal her, and her food away into the treacherous mountain. Relyk threw his hands together, trying to bask in the warmth of the fire. He smiled as Levy retrieved food, now placing it on the fire to warm up. "Oh, that Is very kind of you. Thank you." He would say, his stomach rumbling. He blinked, embarrassed, his cheeks flushing to a bright red. He would attempt to divert the subject of his stomach to another topic. He caught sight of the new artificial blanket walls, now making eye contact with Astria. "I forgot about those, that's really clever. It feels loads better in here now." He said, now looking at the fire. He yawned as he stood, now retrieving his blankets, pillows, sleeping bag. He came back to his original position and laid them across the ground. He placed a blanket on the ground, placing stakes into the four corners so that they blanket wouldn't slip. After that, he would place the sleeping bag on top of the first blanket, lay his pillows down at the head of the sleeping bag, and covered the rest of the sleeping bag with his second blanket. "That oughta do it!" He said, looking over his work. The food was soon ready, and he would grab his bowl after giving Astria his thanks. He soon ate his meal and once again, thanked Astria. He told her how he thought it was delicious and soon laid down, rubbing his fingers along his scarf as he lay lost in thought. He would soon sit up though, looking around in confusion. His ears tingled as the sound of moving snow came into effect. He would un-sheath his sword, tightening the leather strap around his left arm. Before he could stand up, a gigantic vulcan would barge into their camp. He was very close to Astria, and demanded her food. Relyk clenched his fist as he yelled. "Lightning Mold, Lightning darts!" His sword was set ablaze, Lightning engulfing the metal. Soon, tiny needles made of pure lightning would also fill the room, but they were harder to spot compared to Relyk's sword. He would run towards the Vulcan, Relyk's right hand holding the sword down by his left hip. As he neared the Vulcan, he would jump in the air, flicking his wrist as he pulled the sword up in a swift motion. If the attack were to hit, the Vulcan would be sliced across his torso. After the attack, Relyk would throw down his left hand, three lightning darts now flying in motion towards the vulcan, aimed at his back. If the darts were to hit, the beast would be paralyzed for a few minutes before regaining muscle control. |

Astria was laying there thinking about anything that happened to float into her head when a large vulcan appeared in front of her. It shouted out demands of food and marriage at her while then yelling at Relyk to leave them. Tucked away in her sleeping bag wasn't the best position to be ambushed in. That on top of her surprise lead to Astria being grabbed by his large hand. She was wiggling in her bag, not being able to move much. The insulation was constricting and she couldn't even reach her bracelet. Luckily, Relyk stepped in. He drew his blade in moments and went at the vulcan with a swift, lightning infused, slash. Afterwords he launched lightning needles from behind the vulcan's back. Astria wiggled more fiercely complaining loudly at the attacker. She managed to turn her head went to bite his hand. Of course. The first mission I take on and I end up in a hostage situation. The one time I don't have access to my token we get attacked by a vulcan. Stupid insulated sleeping bag! How is anyone supposed to move in an emergency situation. It's a good thing an avalanche didn't come down. I'd be freakin' dead! She twisted harder and pushed up and managed to get an arm out. "YES! Finally!" She lifted her arm up and turned her hand to look at her bracelet. It was empty. She had one coin and it was in the other bracelet. She frowned and yelled at herself. At least it was looser, but during her twisting rampage she managed to get that arm into a twisted mess. She stared at the empty bracelet. "I hate you so much right now." |

The Vulcan's plans were going to go off without a hitch, until the man he shooed away, attacked him. You silly man, why don't you go now? Relyk had swiped at him with magic on his blade. The use of magic just made the Vulcan more angry. Pesky mage, I deal with you. The Vulcan left Astria alone long enough to jump straight up from his slash. The darts aimed for him would fly straight for Relyk instead since the Vulcan was no longer between them. You take your own magic human. The Vulcan landed about two meters away, and launched an attack of his own. He ran and threw out both his hands on either side of Relyk, attempting to grab him. You going to take a trip if i get you human. |

Relyk smiled as the beast dodged his attack. The Vulcan was now In mid-flight, unable to jump or move. Relyk would throw his sword out, the lightning darts that were flying towards the vulcan made contact with Relyk's sword, merging with the lightning which covered the blade. He would throw down his left arm once more, the remaining lightning darts now convulsing on the vulcan's location. "Hey Vulcan, here's some food!" Relyk would shout, yelling to the vulcan, In hopes of distracting him. "He's still in the air, theres no way he'll be able to dodge the darts now. And on top of that, Relyk was distracting the Vulcan." Relyk thought. |

Thankfully the vulcan let go of her and jumped into the air. Using the freedom of someone not holding her she manged to get her other hand free and crawl out of the hell that is her insulated sleeping bag. Astria stumbled onto her feet as Relyk managed to absorb and then redirect his attack at the airborne vulcan. She took the coin out of the right bracelet, thanking it for being helpful, while cursing the other one. "Pay homage to Saint Sebastian." She flipped the coin into the air and from the magic seal that appeared a tall, muscular guy jumped out. He did several 'manly' poses before actually looking at the situation. "OI! A vulcan. I'm gonna kick your ass!" "You've been here fro five seconds how could you know the situation? "Don't need to, just saw a vulcan and need to kick its ass." Astria rolled her eyes, but didn't object since he was sorta right. She stood back and let Relyk and Sebastian take care of things. Edited by Levy-Chan, May 14 2011, 01:39 AM.

The laughed loudly as the mage attempted to hit him with his magic still. The Vulcan took his giant foot, and kicked up a great deal of snow in front of him, using it partly as a cover and shield. The Vulcan then ran from behind it, scooping snow in his hand, making a large snowball about two meters wide. He held it in both hands, over his head, and tossed it at Relyk, hoping to get him to leave him alone. All he wanted was Astria, and some food, but these mages weren't letting him do it. The girl he had his eyes on had brought another man to the area, causing him to become even more angry. Why you with my wife? You die too! He would deal with him after the mage attacking him. |

Ooc: (I'm confused, you were in mid air I thought. ( from jumping over my first attack. So I'm assuming you're to high to touch the ground. ) so how can you kick snow up? I'll post after the confusion has been cleared up. Not trying to be offensive or anything, I just want to clear up the situation. ) |
