Hey everyone! It's May and you know what that means? Yeah, me neither. There's not a whole lot in terms of major news right now, except for maybe some clarification on some forms of magic like usual. As for a new event? Right now, we're just having the April Event (Bosco Invasion part 3) taking place, which runs into the middle of May. But, one cool new thing that we're introducing this month is SS-Class items. Now you have something to grind and agonize over! Yay, isn't that just lovely? I think so. You can find more info on that in the Equipment and Item Creation section in the rules. That's it for now, folks! If I get anything new to add to this you can guarantee that I will do so. The bandits began to see just how out classed they were and began to retreat, leaving their fallen where they lay, to face the consequences of their actions. Fourarms grinned and yelled "Run cowards! Know that this day you were felled by a true hero! Let all know that I will not stand for criminals and their actions!" Fourarms waited till the bandits were out of sight then in a flash of green light, Ben was standing there once more, covered in scrapes, cuts, and bruises from where he had taken damage as Fourarms. The transformation back had minimized his wounds and left him relatively untouched, his wrist device flashing red and displaying countdown. The countdown, as Ben knew quite well, would tell him when his magical power levels were back to normal, thereby allowing him to access his Over Souls once more. Ben looked around at all the fallen bandits then looked up to the retreating archers. Garren and he were victorious, which meant only one thing. Ben had possibly found his sidekick, which would be very awesome if the man agreed to travel with him for a while. "Come back down here and help me tie these bastards up! We still have work to do, a heroes job is never done!" He said with a smile, his hair mussed up and wrong somehow... |

Garren grinned as the bandits began to back off, then run outright, scrambling over each other to escape the red-armed beast and the dark-eyed swordsman as they sprinted back down the range, deciding to cut their losses and run rather than continue brawling with the overpowering duo. Seeing a flash of green light, he glanced down the rocky slope at the main path, seeing Ben back in his human form, the device on his wrist red compared to the green of before - must be some sort of indicator for his magical power, thought Garren. Hearing his voice, Garren slid down the makeshift bridge, jumping off at the end of it to land nimbly by the felled bandits, the bridge disappearing behind him. Fishing around in one of the bandit's packs, he found a length of rope. "Probably going to be used to tie us up - ha, the irony," he said with a chuckle as he bound the unconscious bandits with their own rope. |

Ben chuckled at the agreed upon irony and using the zip ties he had brought, along with any rope they could find, he joined Garren in binding the bandits and pretty soon all the members of the bandit gang were bound and subdued, at least the ones that they had felled in combat. Now when the next knight patrol came through this area in a few hours they could make the arrest and the legend of Benjamin Fergison would spread just a bit further than it already had. Ben looked to Garren, giving a lot of thought to his next question, and asked, "So do you want to join me in my quest to foil criminals? I could use the help, and quite frankly you would make an excellent side kick. Your magic is very kick ass, together no evil could stop us." Ben grinned and didn't even realize the arrogance to his words, calling someone your side kick was like saying they were second best, it was just something you didn't do. Plus this wasn't some fictional story, or some saterday morning cartoon, this was real life they were talking about. At the very least Garren would be called a partner, the other half of a dynamic duo that fought for justice and what is right, but no, Ben was arrogant enough to call Garren less of a fighter and do gooder than he was. Demeaning him by offering him a job as his side kick. The nerve.... |

Garren helped tie the bandits up, lashing them together in groups of three as Ben assisted him. In minutes, all the bandits - at least all the ones that hadn't run off with soiled pants - were tied up and ready to be hauled straight off to jail for the crimes they had commited, the first of which being ambushing Garren and Ben in the range to try and take their possessions and coin. Garren chuckled at Ben's offer. "Your magic is quite kick ass too, but side kick?" he laughed, his head tilting back a little. "I might be your partner if you ask nice," he said with a grin, holding out his hand for Ben to shake. "I suppose there are alot of places who could use the assistance of some bandit clean-up." |

Ben grinned and shook Garren's hand firmly, "Fine, partner then. Together we shall be a fighting force that criminals fear. They will weep when they hear us coming." Ben said with that silly grin on his face. Today he had made an important ally in his quest to rid the world of evil, wherever that evil may lay in wait. What the future holds for these two is anyones guess, but together they are a force to be reckoned with, and together they may just have what it takes to conquer the darkness on the horizon. Garren - still way short posts but since you reached 3 pages and halfway to the 4th... 3sp and 450.000 jewels Ben - decent posts thus decent grading 3sp and 550.000 jewels.
