Watching as the takeover mage seemed to fair pretty well against the enemy in close quarters Stella remained ready to move of intervene if she was needed, her attention was focused on the scuffle between the two mages before her and she almost leapt out of her skin as the new mage on the scene spoke from so close to her. Jolting and turning to face him she stared at him like he had just appeared from thin air, she was confused and rather stunned actually. As she listened to him ask her questions she kept glancing back to the fight between the other two, looking at him stunned Stella stumbled for the words. “Umm, errrr.. My name is Stella” Hearing a groan of pain from the fire mage Stella turned her attention back to him and saw that he had taken a wound the his chest, “I don’t mind answering your questions Gale, but first I think we should focus on the fight at hand?” She didn’t want to seem rude or short with him after all he was helping them in their in fight, but she also couldn’t just stand there and have a conversation as if they were talking over a cup of tea on a sunny afternoon either. In his rage the enemy mage didn’t feel the needles pierce his flesh, they had hit their target and gone pretty deep in his arm and shoulder but fuelled with rage and adrenaline he was too pumped to feel much. Only being enraged further as his blood spilt from the wound on his chest the mage practically roared in frustration, “COME ON DOGGY THAT THE BEST YOU GOT!!!!” Grabbing the takeover mage in a wrestling style hold by practically bear hugging him from behind the large brute like fire mage was able to heave the 2 metre werewolf like figure off the ground with his rather incredible strength, it didn’t sound easy though as the mage grunted in order to do so. Lifting the mage over his head and backwards as he flexed like a pro wrestler the fire mage aimed to drive his enemy’s head into the ground behind him. Spotting an opportunity Stella ran towards the enemy rather fearlessly, using all the speed and strength she could muster which mind you might have seem negligible to most she rammed into the fire mage head on using her shield as a sort of ramming post. If the mage hadn’t been leaning over backwards in such a manner there was no way her meek attempt would have knocked him over, but since his centre of gravity was displaced even her hit was enough. Before the mage could complete his attack and ram the takeover mage into the ground he was sent toppling backwards, as he was sent backwards he ended up throwing the takeover mage instead. Landing with an audible thud the mage groaned before trying to get to his feet, “Why you little~” Cutting him off mid sentence Stella teased him with a mocking tone and facial expression “The larger they are the harder they fall” |

Kain overheard to two talking…so, Stella and Gale huh? Though, he kind of hoped Gale would shut up and help first, asking questions later, and was glad that Stella seemed to agree with him on that matter. The fire mage was faster and stronger then Kain gave him credit for, for as Kain slashed open his chest, before he could move back to open some distant, after all, being taller he had the advantage of reach in this fight, the brute grabbed him, practically bear hugging him as his felt the air get squeezed out him. Fenrir struggled, but, it didn’t seem to be much use as with a strained grunt the fire mage lifted him off the ground, going to drive his head straight into the ground behind them. Kain was rather worried for a moment, it seemed like this would hurt greatly, but, he heard rapid footsteps approaching the pair, Stella. With a solid bash of her shield, she knocked the ‘wrestler’ to the ground, causing the half-demon to be thrown instead, something he could much more easily deal with. Rapidly orientating himself in mid-air, he landed on all four’s a small distance away unharmed if a little out of breath from the crushing grip of the fire mage, his tail up in the air, Kain facing towards the now prone fire mage and Stella. The brute tried to get to his feet, and Kain could only hope that Gale or Stella would take the opportunity to distract and/or attack him as the half-demon scrabbled along the ground using his four limbs for a moment before getting back up and running, going to pounce on the fire mage and try to end this fight. Assuming the other two hadn’t already finished off the mage and Fenrir had a clear chance to pounce and take/keep the hostile mage on the ground and he failed to defend himself or dodge it, Kain would jump on him and pin him to the ground with his clawed hands, weight and enhanced strength, his sharpened teeth pressed against the man’s throat, which would be pressed down harder the more he continued to struggle. Gale grinned to himself as the girl, Stella responded to his untimely questions and actions. Sometimes seeing the expression of one's confused face was worth all the time in the world. Especially in situations like these. Gale assumed that the takeover mage was also confused and was probably wishing for him to shut up and help. Gale then heard a grunt of pain and turned around to see that the takeover mage had succeeded in giving the enemy a nasty cut, but like his needles, it seemed to pass unnoticed. Gale then heard Stella beginning to run at the fray, and saw that amazingly, the fire mage had managed to give the takeover mage, gigantic in comparison, a bear hug and attempt to squeeze the air out of him. As the 'wrestler' attempted to smash the takeover mages head into the ground Stella reached him and tackled him, hitting him with her shield. The fire mage was knocked down to the ground and the takeover mage was thrown into the air at the same time that Gale started to move. Drawing upon the wind, Gale created a gust of wind that lifted him up and rapidly accelerated him towards the fray. He registered the fact that the takeover mage had reoriented himself in midair and was a small distance away from the fire mage on all fours. Smiling to himself, Gale drew out Zan'ei and gave the fire mage another cut that reached from the right shoulder to the left hip. It seemed that the cut was too shallow, so he landed, spun and jumped above the fire mage, hoping to knock him out with the blunt side of his blade with a blow to the head. However, the fire mage had more strength left than he had previously thought, and grabbed Gale as he was coming down. Instead of hitting his forehead, Gale's sword had hit the fire mages right shoulder and left a big bruise and was knocked out of his hands, landing near Stella and sinking about 2 inches into the ground. The sword however, was the least of Gales worries, as he had been grabbed by the fire mage and was now being choked in the fire mages iron grip. Flailing, one of his legs connected to the enemy's nose and promptly broke it, but that only made the fire mage tighten his grip around Gale's windpipe, crushing the air out of him. |

Stella was about to run towards the crawling mage in an attempt to stop him from getting up when Gale took off in front of her seemingly using some kind of magic to aid him, she watched as the takeover mage managed to land without incident and smiled. She was glad she had managed to do something in the battle other than simply take the fire out of it, watching as the werewolf like form charged towards the battle once more on all fours Stella couldn’t help but wonder if it felt strange to the mage to be doing something like that…after all humans aren’t accustomed to running on all fours like a wolf does. She had only been looking away for a moment to see if the takeover mage was alright but as she turned her focus back to the enemy Stella was shocked and slightly disappointed at what she saw, somehow the wind mage had managed to get himself caught in the iron grip of the enemy. Well Stella wouldn’t really judge, she probably would have too. Just dodging an incoming sword Stella looked at it with wide eyes, it had landed but 2 inches from her and dug itself into the ground. Far too close, simply far too close. Hearing the sounds that were coming from Gale as the brute slowly choked the life from him Stella acted on her instincts, grabbing the blade that had seemingly flown to her out of luck Stella ran towards the enemy mage from the side, swinging the blade she had acquired towards the enemy’s throat Stella stopped it just as it cut the skin. Staring at the enemy with her gaze of determination Stella held quite the intimidating expression as she spoke, “Let him go” A smirk graced the enemy mages face as he turned and looked at the sight before him, he seemed to think that the sight of a beautiful woman wearing minimal clothing with a blade to his throat was funny as he began to chuckle. “Oh come on! Your have got to be kidding me right, you really think I would fall for an empty threat like that? Try again little Stella” Furrowing her eyebrows as her frustration grew Stella pushed the blade against his throat harder causing his eyes to widen slightly in surprise, “I don’t know who you’ve been hanging with sweetheart but they a good job on tarnishing that good girl image you had” Throwing Gale away like a discarded piece of trash the mage did something Stella had never expected, reaching out with lightning fast reflexes he grabbed the blade and pulled it from his throat. Shocked Stella held onto the blade for the mere fact that she didn’t want the enemy to get it, that and the fact it wasn’t hers to lose. As the mage yanked the blade Stella let go, she knew she couldn’t beat him in strength and being in towards him to be caught again was not a viable option. Raising her shield in time to block against a strike from the now armed mage Stella was knocked down by the downward force of the blow, the shield had prevented her from being damaged and she held it in place as she sat on her butt waiting for the next strike to hit. Luckily for her it was a big shield and it pretty much covered her completely if she scrunched up on the ground.[/color] Edited by Lightning, Apr 13 2011, 02:31 PM.

Kain was about to leap into the air, but stopped himself at the last moment, his claws digging into the earth. What the hell was Gale trying to prove doing a ridiculously fancy and over-the-top jump? Perhaps as could be obviously expected, it didn’t go so well, the wind mage instead becoming grabbed by the fire-mage. If Fenrir had continued through with his pounce, he’d have likely crushed Gale too…probably not a great way to make friends some small part of the half demon’s mind mused as he began to circle his way around the pair, looking for an opening. He might have instead tried to rush in, however Stella was on the scene already, taking fantastic initiative in grasping the wind mages forcefully discarded sword and pressed it to the ‘wrestler’s’ throat. Surely they had won now…or so he and the others likely thought. Instead, when Stella persisted with the threat, the fire mage threw aside Gale as if he was nothing and grabbed the blade, more blood joining the smell of battle and copper in the air. Showing off his brutish strength, the fire mage forced the blade from Stella’s hand and brought it down towards her, Kain already running towards the ‘wrestler’, but there was no way he was going to make it time. Fortunately her shield wasn’t just for show or eating fire, blocking the blow, even if as a result Stella was knocked to the ground. The fire mage went to strike again, but he wouldn’t get it, at least against Stella, as like a feral animal Fenrir jumped into the air, going to knock him to the ground and away from Gale and Stella. Rather unluckily then, the brute of a mage noticed at the last second, turning around and raising the sword in defence. With a snarl of anger and pain Kain sent the fire mage to the ground, attempting to pin him. His efforts were greatly hindered though by the sword going through his right shoulder, so while Fenrir managed to distract the fire mage for a time so that Gale and Stella could recover and left quite a few deep gashes on the fire mages arms, ultimately Kain was kicked off, after which he scrambled away and then got up, to open up some distance hopefully. While the fire mage got up slowly, assuming Stella or Gale didn’t interfere, Kain cursed as he felt his body changing back, he’d had spent far too much time transformed. His tail, ears and hair got shorter, not to mention his overall height, as his hair and fur with the exception of his ears turning black again. His claws returned to being nails...albeit long and sharpened. His canines became less weapon-like, but remained longer then a human’s. When all was said and done, instead of the werewolf like figure, that was an about 15-16 year old looking boy, about 1.8m tall, with long black spiky hair (though much shorter compared to just moments ago). Probably odd to the mages that had assumed he was a takeover mage, he still had wolf like ears and a tail. Looking down at his right shoulder, the sword was still lodged in there. “Heh, well, at least he’s disarmed now…” he thought as with a loud growl he pulled the sword out, the wound bleeding but not too badly. One moment Gale was having the breath choked out of him, the other moment he was flung to the side like an unused rag doll. Flying through the air, Gale barely had enough time to reorient himself so that he landed feet first, skidding for a meter or 2. Gasping for breath to flow back into his lungs, Gale allowed himself a few seconds to recover before dashing off back into the fray. 'What the hell were you trying to do? Get yourself killed?' Gale thought as me mentally scolded himself. 'How could you have let the adrenaline and blood rush to your brain an attempt a flashy and useless move like that?Damn how much of an idiot can you be?' When Gale had been thrown Stella had taken Zan'ei, which had been forcefully discarded when Gale had been grabbed and was holding it to the 'wrestler's' throat, threatening him. To his surprise the 'wrestler' grabbed the blade with his hand and had yanked it out of Stella's hand and had struck at Stella. Luckily for Stella that shield of hers had blocked the blow and she was just knocked to the ground. When Gale yet again saw the 'wrestler's' unprotected backside, he wasn't letting the chance slip away. As Gale sent the 5 blades of wind racing towards his opponents unprotected backside, it was evident that the 'wrestler' didn't hear his footsteps yet. The last wind blade, however was aiming at the underside of the kneecap of the 'wrestler's' right leg. As he took out a knife and aiming to cut the left leg in the same place, he heard a grunt of anger and pain and he turned around to see the fact that the takeover mage had managed to temporarily pin the 'wrestler' to the ground, albeit having Zan'ei thrust into his shoulder in the process. As the takeover mage ran to put some distance between him and the wrestler, Gale saw an amazing spectacle. As the takeover mage's transformation seemingly ended, the mage was revealed to be a boy that was smaller than him who sported canine features. This, however, was not the time to be amazed. As the 'wrestler' stood up again and the assumed takeover mage snarled as he pulled Zan'ei out of his shoulder and held it at a combat stance. Knowing that now it was the mage that had the disadvantage, Gale quickened his pace. His attacks all struck the target perfectly, and then Gale rushed up and delivered a powerful kick to the 'wrestler's already injured right knee, dislocating it and making blood spurt from the cut as the 'wrestler' finally seemed to register his attacks. Quickly Gale leaped back and put some distance between him and the 'wrestler', readying himself for a possible attack. (EDITED: Reduced the damage done to the 'wrestler') Edited by Gale, Apr 14 2011, 11:52 AM.

Pain and rage was all that fuelled the fire mage now, it almost seemed the more damage the trio inflicted upon the giant the more he seemed to enter a berserker state of both mind and body. As wind blades struck from behind him the fire mage cancelled his oncoming strike towards Stella, they did not do much more then cut him but if there was one thing he hated it was being attacked from behind. Letting out a loud almost primitive and animalistic roar of anger the mage began to turn around to face his cowardly attacker head on, as he turned though he spotted the werewolf like takeover mage sprinting towards him. With just enough time to raise the sword he had ‘borrowed’ the fire mage plunged it through his attackers shoulder as he was tackled to the ground and mauled by the mage like he had been a true animal himself. When the next strike didn’t hit her shield and the roar of the fire mage sounded out Stella peeked out from behind her shield, her eyes widened in both shock and fear as the took in the sight before her. Staring at the blade that had pierced her ally’s shoulder she found herself in a state of shock for a moment, snapping out of it she watched him being kicked off and start to transform back. Stella didn’t watch the whole transformation, instead she rose from the ground and re-adjusted her shield so that she could wield it properly once more. As she watched Gale charge towards the enemy once again Stella secretly hoped he wouldn’t get himself caught like the last time he tried some heroics, as his kick to the injured knee of the fire mage connected he was forced down to one knee as a response. You little midgets are pissing me off!! If your gonna attack like insects then prepare to be squashed like insects!” A large burst of magical power emanated from the losing mage, he had one more trick up his sleeve and if he had to use it to squash these bugs then so be it. As the blast picked up anything loose in the nearby area and blew away without effort Stella found herself too being forced back, digging in her feet and using her shield as a kind of windbreaker she was able to remain on her feet as she slid back several metres. She wasn’t sure how the others would fair in the powerful blast that would no doubt hit them like a ton of bricks since they had no wind breaker like she did but one thing she knew, they wouldn’t be in the same place they had been moments before. As the wind like pressure that was coming from the mage ceased Stella took a look from behind her shield, watching as he got from the ground and stood on his leg as if nothing had happened Stella felt a knot form in the pit of her stomach. The mage’s legs and arms were encased in flames, what was worse was that her shield didn’t seem to be able to absorb any of it. Stella didn’t understand what was going on but it seemed that the flames encasing his limbs were strengthening him, allowing him to stand despite being injured and by the looks of those arms he was going to be able to pack a heck of a punch. This fight was way out of her league and the people helping her had already gotten themselves injured, clenching her fists in rage and determination the ex-quip mage made a decision. She would have to deal with this and face whatever came her way, it wasn’t right to involve innocent people anymore then she already had. “Hey!! If you want me then come and get me!!” Knowing full well she stood no chance in outrunning the mage Stella decided to try something new she had only just learnt the following day. Standing her ground in her Armour of Nirvana Stella taunted the mage with her facial expression and tone of voice, oh how she hoped that this would work. Smirking at the words of the woman before him the mage charged towards Stella without thinking, one could say it was not his strong suit. As he charged towards her Stella hid one of her hands behind her back, summoning her blade of Nirvana she waited until he entered her range. When he was but 10 metres from her Stella released her grip on the blade and focused her power on levitating it behind her, as the distance became less and 5 metres was all that stood between her and the charging fire mage Stella lifted her arm and swung it as if she was still holding the weapon. Her blade went flying through the air and plunged itself into the mage, Stella had never killed anyone before but as she stared at the location that the blade had struck she feared that today was the day she would take her first life. Clutching at the blade that was lodged into his chest the fire mage stopped, his brown eyes looked into Stella’s own amethyst ones in shock., it seemed both were as shocked by the turn of events as each other. Falling to his knees the mage chuckled to himself as he spoke his last words, “Seems you’re more of a killer then everyone thought Miss Fleu…ret….” Stepping back as the mage began to fall forward Stella stood frozen as she looked at the body at her feet, her eyes were fixated on the now deceased mage and her hands began to shake slightly. Who was she to take someone’s life? What right did she have to decide whether someone lived or died? The world around her faded away as she stood staring at what was but moments ago her enemy. |

As Kain spent time recovering from the sword wound, the others didn’t waste any, Gale giving a powerful strike that seemed to dislocate the enemy’s knee, and Stella getting to her feet and readying herself for combat. Not particularly want to rush back into melee when it seemed like Gale and Stella were plenty proficient in it, and while he was still injured, the shadows beneath Kain started to writhe as he discarded the sword, almost of if they were alive, before forming into three vaguely dog shaped creatures made of shadow, growling and snarling towards the fire mage. Rather enraged at this point, the fire mage released his own attack, a large burst of magic power that was picking up everything loose around him. “Fenrir’s Fang!” Kain called out before dropping to the ground low, digging his pseudo-claws into the earth, not wanting to be blown away by the fire mages attack. As the blast hit him, causing him to slide back several meters across the ground despite his efforts, growling at just how forceful it was, his inugami not being physical beings had no problem advancing, soaring through the air towards the ‘wrestler’. Though the mage now had his legs and arms encased in fire, his chest was still open and he hadn’t expected any ‘projectile’ to make it through the blast he produced, as the dogs of shadow slammed into the ‘wrestler’, though in the fire mages enraged state it didn’t seem to particularly slow him down. Nor did it send him after Kain as he had hoped, who despite his now mostly human appearance was still rather adept at melee combat, and he would heal any burns he got. Instead, Stella who had been sent the least distance because of her shield had decided to provoke him, sending the brute charging towards Stella. “Stella!” Kain called out, running towards the pair that was getting closer together, but despite his speed, he wasn’t going to get there in time to do anything to help. It would seem though there would be no need, a sword arcing through the air from behind Stella, before burying itself in the fire-mage. The enemy mage fell to his knees, his breathing got weaker…he was dying, fast, and then, before anything could be done, he was dead, the brute collapsing on the ground. “…Shit,” was all Kain could mutter, now they’d have to go get the authorities involved, instead of just dragging his sorry ass to the local jail. Still, by the horrified look on Stella’s face, she certainly hadn’t meant to do it, and he and Gale could certainly bare witness that it was self-defence. “Hey, Gale, make sure she’s alright yeah? I’ll be right back,” he called out to the wind mage, leaving the dense area they were in, heading back towards the more open park. While perhaps it would have been a good idea to put a shirt on, there was a small crowd that had started to gather, seemingly noticing or hearing something was up but not brave enough to investigate, and there was nothing like a shirtless teenager who’s chest was covered in blood from a fresh wound to grab attention, a scream from one of the members of the crowd bringing over a pair of knights of Fiore soon enough. Explaining to the knights that he was a mage of Fairy Tail, and the circumstances that had led him to be here and what had happened, he soon lead them back to where Stella, Gale, and the dead mage were. One of the knights moved closer to Stella to begin questioning her, the other towards the body. Kain just sighed; he really hated getting authorities involved; they were very into their precious protocol, even if this was rather obviously self-defence. However with a body involved it couldn’t be helped, and with three injured mages, one of which was a guild mage and a citizen of Magnolia, hopefully it wouldn’t take long even for the knights to come to the conclusion of self-defence. Seeing that the 'wrestler' seemed to have no intent on attacking him and had instead focused his attention on Stella, Gale saw his chance for another attack. drawing out 3 shurikens and throwing them in the span of a few seconds, the 4-pointed metal projectiles spun towards the 'wrestler', all of them striking the target. One lodged itself deeply inside the right shoulder, another had hit the immediate area around the small of the 'wrestler's' back and the last one had stuck in the area between the first and the second rib bones on the right. Though obviously affective, the 'wrestler' still seemed to ignore his attacks. "Shit, he's going to kill himself from blood loss if this goes on." I sure hope that nobody dies in this fight, I wouldn't fancy a night in a jail cell anyways." Racing towards the 'wrestler' yet again, cursing the familiar feeling of Zan'ei in his hand, Gale instead drew 2 knives and held one at a reverse grip and the other in the forward grip and prepared to strike the brute down with some blows to the temple, and in the event of that failing, he would stick the knives into the neck and the heart. Just when he was a few meters away from striking the 'wrestler', the brute let off a large burst of magic power that created a fierce wind which was blowing everything away from the brute. Struck by the full brunt of the fierce winds, Gale was completely unprepared for the sudden attack and only his control over the winds stopped him from being thrown to the ground or being blown into the air. Skidding for several meters until Gale was at a distance that it would take him too long to try another melee attack, Gale threw 2 daggers at the wrestler, one aimed at the heart and the other aimed at the neck. The daggers raced towards the 'wrestler' at a fast pace. Though the fire mage had used some sort of magic to encase his arms and legs in fire, his chest and his head were uncovered. Thankful for this weakness, Gale started running towards the 'wrestler', hoping to strike him down in the unlikely case that his daggers missed. Running at full speed, out of the corner of his eye he spotted the takeover mage release his magic, this time sending 3 canine shaped specter's racing towards the 'wrestler'. Again, the fire mage ignored his injuries and now focused his attention on Stella, who seemed to have goaded him in to attacking her. But it was evident that there would be no need for any assistance, as the fire mage was quickly impaled by a sword that went through his unprotected chest. Before Gale could go and examine the wound, the fire mage had fallen towards the ground face-first, dead. 'Great, now I actually might end up in jail." His weapons had hit the target just a few moments after the fire mage was empaled by the sword, and he ran forward to pull the weapons that had lodged themselves firmly into the now dead body out and pick up whatever weapons that he could still use, which was all of them save for 2 needles that had been partially melted by the fire. Picking up his sword and wiping off the blood on a cloth, he looked up to see Stella's horrified face, which probably meant that she hadn't hoped to kill the fire mage at all. "And what did I do? I was aiming to kill, to take something that wasn't mine and would never be mine to start with. My father would be proud of me" He thought bitterly. Hey Gale, make sure she's alright yeah? I'll be right back." Looking around for the owner of the voice, he identified it to be coming from the takeover mage. "Sure, don't do anything stupid with that wound of yours." As Gale accessed the injuries that they had suffered, he was surprised that the wounds were actually very light, save for the stab wound that the takeover mage had suffered. Sheathing Zan'ei, Gale led Stella to a nearby park bench that wasn't blown over and waited for the takeover mage to return. He didn't have to wait long, as the takeover mage was back quickly with 2 of what Gale assumed to be knights. The knights wasted no time in examining the body and interrogating Stella. Gale now had the time to more closely examine the 2 people that he had been fighting alongside just a little while ago. Both seemed to be about his age, but it was the takeover mage that now caught his biggest interest. "Hi, as you now know my name is Gale and I'm a wind mage. What is your name and what kind of mage are you? I had assumed that you were a takeover mage before but your attack with the shadow canines suggested something else. And why do you have dog ears?" Steel your mind. Run on instinct.

Tunnel vision, she had only ever experienced it a few times in her life but never like this before. As Stella stood staring at the lifeless corpse that lay at her feet, she couldn’t hear anything around her nor could she see anything happening around her. Nothing else existed, it was as if she had entered a plane of solitude where it was just her and the corpse before her. Stella knew that sometimes in life killing to protect people or yourself was necessary, she had been raised in a family of knights that fought against many and that killed if deemed necessary. She had always thought no less of them for taking life, but never had she thought that she herself would need to do so. Had this been necessary? Even if it had been so, hadn’t she brought it on herself through her actions? As she watched the blood began to approach her boots the ex-quip mage was almost mesmerised by the crimson liquid, something so seemingly simple held such importance. Something so precious was now spilling out across the ground at her feet, so many times she had seen blood drawn and been the one to draw it and yet never had she really thought of how important it was. A simple red liquid that flowed through everyone and gave them life, we spill it almost everyday whether it be through a small scratch or cut but how many people truly treasure it? How many people truly treasure life itself? As she began to wonder if her actions had been selfish after all Stella started to think that maybe she never treasured life as much as she thought she did. She ran away knowing that she would be in danger, she stayed in Magnolia despite the risk she knew there was, how was this truly not her fault? And how could she say she did everything necessary to protect her life? Stepping back but a step as the blood wrapped itself around the bottom of her boots Stella watched as the dry place she had been standing quickly gave way to the crimson sea. Snapped out of her daze by a hand on her shoulder Stella quickly snapped her gaze to her left to see whom it was, clearly shocked by the event Stella merely looked at Gale. As he started to lead her away her eyes remained on the body that once housed life, she sat down on the seat that Gale lead her to but she wouldn’t have been able to tell you where it was or how she got there. Everything was blurry as she sat in her thoughts, why was she here right now? Why had she been attacked? Where was she going? So many questions entered her mind and they all held one answer, him. He was the reason she had left home, he was the reason she was in Magnolia and he was where she was going. As an unfamiliar voice started to invade her thoughts Stella looked up to see a knight standing in front of her, she clearly hadn’t been listening to a word that they had said as the knight asked her once more time…. “HEY an answer would be nice” “Oh…..I’m sorry…what was the question?” Sighing the male knight rolled his eyes and spoke out to his comrade that was inspecting the corpse, “Hey Davies, we got another stunned blonde over here.” A chuckle sounded out from this Davies fellow as an inside joke was shared, Stella understood what they were saying and although technically true she still didn’t really appreciate the comment. But before Stella herself could say anything the knight before her received a rather stern wallop to the back of the head by the female knight standing next to him, “Shut up you jerk, not everyone is used to death.” Not liking being made a fool of the male knight quickly started to write something in his little notebook, handing it over to Stella with a pen he seemed like he wanted to get the heck away from her as possible. Embarrassment was a funny thing that way. “Just fill in the information and we will send someone to question you in the morning…you know when your not shocked and all” Stella could see Davies as he had been called was already ready with the body of the mage and lightning a cigarette as he waited, it was knights like these that gave them all a ad reputation. Obeying like a good girl Stella filled in the information they had asked for, well almost all of it. She lied about her last name and the motel she was at, after all there was no way she could let the knights find out who she was. As she handed the book back to the knight the female glimpsed at it and started to walk away without a word, “Yeah well see you later I guess” after speaking the knight quickly gave chase meeting up with his comrades by the body. That was it, Stella figured the man must have been known as a criminal for them to take it so lightly on her and yet it didn’t seem to make the situation feel any better. Standing from the seat as the knights started to walk away Stella looked down to her feet and realised that she was still wearing her armour, getting rid of it and returning to her normal clothing as she took a step Stella approached Gale and the takeover mage. He might have still had ears and a tail but right now Stella didn’t seem to notice as she remained only semi-aware of the area around her. |
