Account Name: Cryo8D Name: Song Chiu Nickname: Pine Age: ~17 Gender: Male Height: 180 cm (~5'10") Weight: 65 kg. (~143 lb) Guild: n/a Class: D Affiliation: Neutral Physical Description: Song is the type of person that can only be described as peculiar. Though, at first glance, he looks like any other passerby one would find on a random street, he is in rather good physical shape, though it is nothing particularly impressive. He possesses rather unkempt moderately-length brown hair that sticks out slightly in the front, rather dark in coloration - upon closer inspection, though, one would find that the hair is actually composed of several varying shades of brown, though the darkest shade is dominant. His eyes are of a bright golden shade, with a piercing gaze present at virtually all times. Given that he isn't particularly muscular, Song possesses a rather slim body, with his limbs and fingers slightly longer than normal, giving him a somewhat delicate appearance. Combined with his rather pale skin color, he could easily be mistaken for a young scholar of sorts, or something along the lines of that. If one stares at him for a duration, though, the sensitive people would notice that he has a peculiar aura about him, something abnormal - though chances are not many notice, and those who do will never figure out why. Clothing: Song's clothing consists of a simple tan long-sleeved shirt and undergarments, below what he normally wears. Virtually always, he can be found in a rather long article of clothing known as a shenyi, which covers him from his shoulders down to his feet - the top of the clothing he puts on rather loosely, revealing his inner shirt somewhat similar to the opening of a V-neck. The shenyi itself is green, with light brown borders. Strangely enough, the clothing aforementioned are all made of a silk-like substance, designed for comfort - and yet it can withstand basic rain rather well. To complete his attire, he wears a simple pair of dark brown jika-tabi, which reaches up above his ankles. Accessories: Song carries with him, at all times, a small satchel slung over his back, seemingly leather in make, with which he carries all that he needs to. In addition, he possesses a simple wreath of leaves - though he never wears it in public, preferring to keep it in his backpack. Being an archer, he also brings along a quiver, which is slung over his back as well - in the opposing direction, over the satchel. Extra: n/a Personality Song, or "Pine" as he prefers to call himself, looks like a highly self-composed man at first glance - and yet he is actually living evidence that one should never judge a book by its cover. He is, in actuality, highly unstable, to say the least. In his normal state, he is a very calm and gentle person, well-versed in the ways of the plants and wild beasts, willing to assist those who request it. Due to his past, he is most comfortable in the wild, especially attracted to forests and other areas full of trees. Being extremely empathetic, his mood usually mirrors, to a minor degree, those whom are around him. For some unknown reason, though, he has a severe issue with his personality; it isn't a "split" personality, as that would imply each side entirely different from the other. Instead, it is simply a case of "multiple" personalities, as if he contained the souls of several people in a single body. Calm and empathetic one moment, loud and humorous the next, and then suddenly serious and intimidating; one can never expect what will happen next with him, as he himself has no conscious control over when his personality shifts again, nor what it will be. He knows not why, but Song has a strange attraction to plants - trees, in particular. In forests, he feels most comfortable around or under the trees, and is usually enraged when he sees a tree being destroyed - which, being said, leads to another thing: a minute case of pyrophobia. He is not afraid of most fires, though - only wildfires, uncontrolled by man or nature, strike at his fear. In a wildfire, though, he has a hundred-percent chance of panicking, and will do everything he can to escape the vicinity. Has a strange obsession with the seeds of trees, especially pinecones; will try to plant every seed of a tree that he sees, no matter how long it takes him. History Weaponry/Equipment - Mongol Bow: His normally-used bow; D-rank - Yum: A longbow used only for sniping; D-rank - Quiver: Holds 40 D-rank arrows, 10 for the Yumi and 30 for the Mongol bow Stats - 55 Strength: 10 Accuracy: 12 Stamina: 10 Speed: 10 Magic: 13 Stat Points Earned: 0/10 Arc Points Earned: 0/0 Jewels Earned 2,000,000/2,000,000 Sources What? You don't come on the roof often? – 2 SP, 400,000 jewels April Event 2011 – 3 SP, 750,000 jewels Kill the Fire! – 5 SP, 750,000 jewels Skills & Disciplines: - Archery: Having learned from his foster parents for years, Song has learned the way of the bow - Fletching: With proper supplies, Song can make his own arrows, though not as fine as the ones bought in stores - Knowledge of the Forest: Having lived in a forest for years, Song can survive perfectly well in one, knowing the basics of skills such as fishing, astronomy and herbalism Magic Name: Persona Magic Type: Mask Magic Tier of Magic: 3 Rank: 2 Magic Description: Persona - the magic possessed, but unused, by a famous man in the east known as the Third Sage. Simply said, this magic has 2 parts to it - the masks themselves, and Reverse Mode. Masks Reverse Mode: An unique side-effect of Persona mixing in with Song's own multiple personalities, Reverse Mode is specific portion of his magic - while his other techniques focus on the types of masks, Reverse Mode techniques are specified techniques dealing with magical actions he can perform with the mask(s) other than just boosting his attacks- if the mask(s) is/are destroyed, it cannot be used in a Reverse Mode technique until regeneration, after 5 posts. Techniques: (3/3) Reverse Mode: Animation - 1 Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supportive Range: (rank of technique x 10) meters Effect: Temporarily granting "life" to his masks, the user allows several masks to take an ethereal form, during which they are capable of gliding around him, similar to ghosts - that is, solid masks with a 1 – 2 m. long constantly-shifting specterlike body. During this time, instead of boosting his projectiles, each mask can fire off its own projectile, with the power equal to what is described for the current rank of the technique in which the mask is summoned and the effect pending on the mask itself. The Mask-Spirits will be destroyed if the mask itself is destroyed. Can be ended early. *Limit of 2 projectiles max. can be fired per post. Rank Progression Mask Effect Fragor - 2 Type: Offensive/Supportive Range: Self Effect: A simple ovular white mask with the symbol 爆 written on it, Fragor gives explosive properties to the user's attacks - maximum one attack can be affected per post. - "*Note that there is a one-turn global cooldown before the user can switch masks." Is that one post without a mask or can you change to another mask while another is on provided you wait the cool down? - As someone who has done chemistry...your example durability’s’ make me weep. Pure iron (which almost doesn't exist) is actually really soft. You probably mean low quality or unrefined steel or something. While diamonds may be the hardest substance on earth (though not the most stable or temperature resistant), it is actually quite brittle so in terms of durability it is rather crap. - For Reverse Mode: Animation, how much damage does each projectile deal? - A 50m diameter explosion may be...excessive, even at rank 10. A 50m diameter circle is equal to an area of ~1,960m^2. Perhaps at rank 2 2m instead, rank 3 5m, and each rank from there going up 5m, which ends up being 40m at rank 10. (Which is still obliterating buildings in a ~1260m^2 area.) Edited by Cloud, Apr 8 2011, 07:15 AM.

o3o~ Edited; - global cooldown described - :< sorry about that. - Projectile damage is directly dependent on the damage described in the current rank in which the mask has (yes, I plan on each mask being a separate technique) - O_o oh dear. edited. |
