Im so glad you like it! Blair said as she kept shoveling food into her mouth. The sentence came out as nothing more than gibberish and bits of food, as her mouth was full of funnel cake. This was the only time Blair didn't eat in her normal lady-like manner. She loved funnel cakes and she was going to enjoy them the best way, quickly and giant mouthfuls. Blair quickly devoured her food and tossed the plate in a nearby trashcan. We can check on the rides when your finished eating She said, as she stretched out her arms high into the air. Of course the sleeves dangled down as she did so, almost touching her head. The Ferris wheel was all Blair could think about now. Her mind had become one tracked after she finished eating, so only a ride on the Ferris Wheel was going to please her. Blair began to drag Nana by her arm again at the exact moment that Nana threw her plate away. We have to hurry, maybe we can actually get on the rides this time. Blair squealed full of excitement. She had to admit, she felt like a kid at stuff like this. She was so full of wonder and excitement. She wanted to ride all the rides, play all the games, and enjoy the night. Tonight, she had no worries, just the fun of the celebration, and now, she had a friend to enjoy it with. As they walked Blair thought to herself There better not be any line...or someone is going to get hurt. Her expression flickered to anger for a second because of those thoughts, but changed back to a smile just as fast. She was serious about riding that Ferris Wheel. The ride was clearly visible above all the other tents and rides so getting to it was as easy as looking up. They began their trek back through the commotion and tents, finally arriving at the object that Blair's mind was stuck on. Luckily this time the line was very small, and she knew she would be able to ride the wheel. FINALLY! Blair yelled as she threw her hands in the air. She waited in line for their time to get onto the ride. Blair was so excited, she was going to able to see all of the fairground. Being that high up in the sky and seeing all the lights was one of Blair's favorite views. As every kid hopes, Blair hoped that they got stuck at the top of the Ferris Wheel. Blair and Nana got on the ride and waited for the ride to start. Blair was giddy with excitement. We are actually getting to ride the Ferris Wheel! finally Blair said as she threw her hands up to her face, and shook with excitement. The man in charge of the ride flipped a switch, and the ride roared to life. The wheel creaked and began to spin slowly. The carriage they were in swayed as it hung on the wheel. I love these rides, they are so peaceful. I just look at the land below, and forget about everything else in life. Just for these few moments. The sound of the music was faint at this height, but she still swayed to it, eyes closed. Isn't it lovely? Blair said, as she opened her eyes. The view from the top of the Ferris wheel was amazing. She could see all the tents full of families playing kids with the kids. She could see the man who ran the tent she played at, scamming another person. She could see the food stalls, even the one they ate at. She could see that everyone was having a great time here. Tonight is wonderful Blair whispered to herself as she kept looking out over the fairground. Edited by Sachio, Mar 28 2011, 03:59 PM.

As Nana continued to eat the delicious funnel cake, she couldn't help but think how good the other food that were offered at the celebration were. If the funnel cake was this delicious, then there were bound to be food items that absolutely tasted like heaven; she was definitely glad that she had taken the time and opportunity to come to the celebration. She remembered earlier in the week when her fellow guild members had attempted to persuade her into attending the celebration and how she refused to go because she felt as though she didn't feel like a 'worker' of the Fairy Tail guild yet as she was a brand new wizard. On top of deciding to attend such a magnificent celebration, she had met someone as enthusiastic and energetic as Blair, who seemed to have different personality traits than Nana. There were some similarities, but Blair seemed like the type to have a shorter temper. Regardless, Blair was still quite an amazing person to hang around for Nana. She quickly finished her utterly delicious meal to help Blair go on a search for some amazing rides around the area. "Alrighty~ I'm done!" Nana said as she threw away her plate in the garbage can. What came as a surprise was that the second Nana had finished throwing out her plate, Blair had taken the opportunity to drag Nana by the arm. Nana considered this action to be quite rude actually, but didn't quite say anything because she saw how excited Blair was to get to the next ride. Nana was going to simply follow Blair regardless, but all of this dragging seemed to hurt her arm a little. Soon enough, Nana released herself from Blair's grasp by tugging with a lot of force; but when Nana had looked around at the environment, she had noticed that they both arrived at the Ferris Wheel. Luckily for the pair, the line at the Ferris Wheel had shortened by a great amount. The last time the pair saw the Ferris Wheel, there was a humongous line; they could've possibly waited years in order to just get one cart for the Ferris Wheel. Once the line cleared out, Nana had hopped into one of the last carts of the Ferris Wheel. The cart had just so happened to be one of Nana's favourite colours- pink! With such a beautiful colour, happiness took over Nana once again. The cart then began to move as the ride operator had pressed a couple of buttons; initially, the ride had creaked a bit, scaring Nana, but the creaking eventually stopped. There was a slight fear in Nana's heart that the Ferris Wheel was going to have a meltdown and all of the carts were going to break off and fall down at a great height, but her worries soon went away as she began to see the beautiful view of the celebration. The celebration was simply beautiful down at ground level, but from above, one would notice how all the bright lights came together to form the Fairy Tail guild symbol. "It really is lovely! And look, do you see that? That's the Fairy Tail logo! That's my guild!" Nana cheered as her eyes began to glisten with amazement. Once Nana and Blair had reached the top, the ride had seemed to stop as the people below left their carts and new people had gone in. While they had stopped in mid-air, Nana had received the chance to observe the view more. The height didn't quite scare her a lot, but there was still a slight amount of worry residing in Nana's heart. "What do you want to do after, Blair?" Nana asked. |

Nana had pointed out that the lights were in the form of Fairy Tail's symbol. Blair never thought about guilds much, nor did she know much about them. She smiled at Nana's excitement over the formation. A fairy tail mage eh? Not too bad. Blair thought to herself as she kept smiling. The ride was coming to an end which had Blair's smile fading slowly. It was sad to have to get off for Blair was enjoying it immensely. Before they got off, Nana asked Blair what was next to do. The question threw Blair off, because she hadn't even begun to think past this ride. Well...umm...walk? I mean we can just walk around i guess. Burn off that funnel cake Blair said as she place her hand on her chin, then throwing out a thumbs up after she came up with the idea. They got off the ride slowly after it was their carts turn to exit. That was rather fun thanks for coming with me on it! Blair said giving Nana a small hug. Even though she was still bitter about the game from earlier, she had to admit, Nana was rather sweet, and quite friendly This was someone she could get used to hanging out with. Blair always loved making new friends, and this one was quite a great one. Walking around the celebration seemed like a good way to enjoy the night even further. They could see the other attractions, get to know each other better, and maybe even play some other games if they wanted. Blair saw a trail that headed around the outside of the celebration, between some trees, then looped back around some of the game tents. That trail over there looks good to walk on Blair said as she pointed. |

A small chuckle was heard from Nana when she had heard Blair suggest the pair walk to burn off all of the fat that was in the funnel cake. It was an interesting suggestion, yet humorous at the same time; although, burning off the calories could have had always come later considering as they were attending a celebration, not an exercise class. "A walk? Sure, that sounds pretty good; I'm dying to see what else the celebration has to offer!" Nana said with a cheerful tone to her voice. Soon enough, the cart descended down to ground level, where the door of the cart opened and one of the ride operators wearing a funny green uniform had helped Nana out. The overall experience of the Ferris Wheel was quite enjoyable; it was relaxing, comfortable, and quite pleasant overall. The fact that the lights of the celebration were arranged in a beautiful manner improved Nana's overall impression of the celebration. The pair soon walked down a small flight of metal stairs and onto the grass, where all of the tents, civilians and food were now in sight. What happened next came as a shocker as Blair had hugged Nana. Surprised, and happy, Nana returned the hug. "No problem!" she replied. The girls walked at a moderate pace around the celebration; even after a a good amount of time had passed by since Nana and Blair had arrived at the festival, the happiness and joyfulness still seemed to grow. Everywhere they went, families were smiling and children were hopping around like animals, couples held hands and embraced each other with an incredible amount of passion. The only thing that could have possibly be considered a negative downside to the event were the men around the pairs' age who walked by and stared at them with a look of perversion. Nana cringed a little when she saw the look in their eyes- not for one second did she ever want to know what they had in mind. Ignoring the group of men that had walked by, Nana and Blair continued to observe the wonderful things that were around. Every tent that they had walked by in the games portion of the celebration looked like so much fun. It would've taken hours, or possibly even an entire day just to play at all of the stations! There was not a single moment where Nana's eyes hadn't glistened with amazement; that, and the fact that she went 'Oooh!~' when she saw a fun game that she had wanted to play. "There's far too many games, Blair! It's so unfair! They all look like so much fun!" Nana shouted out with glee. While Nana was continuing to be amazed by her surroundings, Blair had noticed a small trail that was nearby at the end of the games section of the celebration. "Hmm, sure! A walk would be nice," Nana said as she gave an eye-smile to blair. Although the trail seemed to go away from the celebration a little, Nana didn't mind at all. It would be a nice time just going for a simple walk, getting some fresh air, and away from all the cheering and laughter that were in the area. The pair then left the games section and went off into the trail that was in between large trees connected to each other with lamps hanging on a wire. A calm serenity was then felt; Nana could breathe in the fresh air although the temperature was becoming slightly cold. With each step, a small crackle of sounds was heard as their feet began to step on the small pebbles of rocks. "Ah, I'm glad you suggested we go on the trail. It's so refreshing!" Nana said joyfully. After a few minutes of walking, the pair had encountered a fork in the trail; where it split up into two different paths, although each path was connected by a large circle in the area. Within the circle was a small bench, where the group of men that Nana and Blair had seen just as they had walked by. "Yo! What's up girls? What are both of ya doing out here? Looking for a good time, I bet?" a crude man said. There were approximately four guys sitting on the bench, all wearing hideously designed clothing that were matched improperly. They were all quite large, but not exactly the 'good' form of large. The men all had a giant piece of meat in their hands and were eating like filthy pigs in a barn. All of them seemed to laugh in unison when the first man had began to talk to the pair. Nana looked at them with a face of disgust; she knew that they weren't going to leave her alone no matter what she had tried. "I'm sorry, but no. My friend and I were simply going out for a walk, so if you would excuse us, we would like to continue walking in peace," Nana said politely in an attempt to make them leave. "Hell no! If we like you, then you immediately belong to us. That's how things work around here, ya know?" a hideous man said with a raspy voice. Things were about to get ugly, and quick. Nana had presumed that they weren't able to use magic, but they could be powerful physically. "No thank you. I wouldn't like that, at all," Nana replied. The man's expression immediately changed to a shocked expression. He called out to the other males of his group and began to speak. "Well then, looks like we have to do things by force, don't we?" the man said. Worry began to take over Nana a little bit; things were about to get quite ugly. She didn't know whether Blair was a proficient fighter or not, but the situation right now called for Nana to protect them. "Blair, stand back!" she said with a firm tone. Nana then remembered that she had won a silver key back at the celebration, and this was the perfect time to use it. Quickly grabbing the key off of her keychain that hung around her belt, she screamed out, "I open the gate to the Fox! Vulpecula!" Nana put out her key forward and turned it within the air as if she was opening a gate. A large pink magic seal then formed at the tip of her key, forming a light that materialized into a spirit. The spirit seemed to be quite beautiful; it was a female and resembled like that of a fox. "H-h-hello! I am Vulpecula, your new pet!" Vulpecula said in a quiet tone as she put on a frightened expression on her face. Nana couldn't believe how adorable the spirit had looked; and judging from the situation, the men all seemed to stop and stare at her beauty. "Vulpecula, is it alright if we skip the contract forming for now? And by the way, I'm your friend, not your owner!" Nana said with a cheerful tone to her voice. "Okay! That sounds nice!" Vulpecula said as her expression turned into a smile. "Alright then. As a Fairy Tail mage, I'm going to stop you guys from hurting innocent women!" |

The path was rather nice and quiet at this time of night. The air was a tad chilly but only Blair's legs felt it. Blair snuggled into her giant hoodie as she walked. Nana seemed to be enjoying the walk as much as Blair was, which was reassuring to her. She didn't want to make her new friend do something she wouldn't like. Blair kept up her smile was she walked, enjoying the night and Nana's company. Thanks for hanging out with me tonight. Blair said as she patted Nana's shoulder. They continued down the trail and came upon a fork. One of the paths led to a circle. That circle was filled with men that had passed by earlier. The crude men began to yell unpleasant comments at the girls. This was all Blair needed as an excuse to beat them up. The men began to close in on Blair and Nana with an unfriendly intent. The girls politely declined on the men's invitations, which apparently they didn't appreciate. Well then, looks like we have to do things by force, don't we?" One of the men said. heh, feel free to try Blair responded taking up a fighting stance. Nana had told Blair to stay back, and that's one thing Blair did not, and would not do. Before Blair could respond, Nana had summoned a beautiful fox woman from the key she had won. Oh wow was all she could say. Blair snapped out of her daze and moved next to the spirit. Your not going to have all the fun dear Blair said as she rushed forward into the men. Blair counted five of them, which shouldn't be much of a problem. Hey, ill take these 2 guys and you take 2, we can finish the last one together! Blair said as she looked back with a smile. The first man tried to grab Blair as she ran. Blair merely jumped up and flipped over the mans head, kicking him in the back of the head as she began to land. The man stumbled forward as she continued running past him toward the next man. Blair executed a butterfly kick mid run aiming the kick towards the other mans face. The kick landed with a crunching noise. Blair guessed she had broke the mans nose, which served him right. Blair turned around and faced the man she had kicked in the head. She was about to finish him off and work together with Nana on the last guy. Blair ran at him and threw a hand up towards his face, which had the man blocking. Blair smirked and punched his stomach instead with her other hand taking advantage of that opening her feint made. Blair was satisfied with her win and threw a thumbs up at Nana as her opponent fell to the ground. Edited by Sachio, Apr 1 2011, 10:33 PM.

It appeared as though Blair hadn't listened to Nana when she had told her to back away to let Nana do the fighting. Initially, Nana believed that Blair was simply a regular girl who didn't have a great talent in fighting or in magic, but she was proven wrong. She was quite amazed as she had watched Blair easily defeat two men on her own; judging from what Nana had seen, Blair had a great talent for acrobatics and a niche for melee fighting. "Wow Blair, you're pretty amazing!" Nana shouted out to Blair with a surprised tone to her voice. She agreed with Blair when she had asked her to take out two of the men. Nana turned back her head to face Vulpecula, who seemed to be quite a beautiful spirit, but the only thing that worried Nana was if Vulpcula had the ability to fight proficiently. "Vulpecula, can you fight?" Nana called out to her brand new spirit. The spirit was wearing a large white tunic that acted as a top and wore a bikini like bottom along with white heels. The thing that stood out most was the fact that Vulpecula had two pink tails, which proved that she was of the fox species. "Of course, friend!" Vulpecula cheered out loud as she turned to face Nana while giving a large smile. The spirit seemed to sway her body back and forth a little, putting the men into a small trance as they couldn't stop staring at the spirit's beautiful body. Nana was simply disgusted at how the men acted; it was quite obvious that they were drunkards considering that there were empty beer bottles on the ground. It was simply despicable of the men to drink while a wonderful celebration was going on. "I'm not okay with this, friend. They're staring at me weirdly... but I'm going to make them stop! With my Shop-a-Holic magic, I should be fine!" the spirit called out cheerfully as she pouted. Nana lifted one eyebrow out in an expression of being weirded out. She was curious to see what the spirit's magic was like- after all, she was just a spirit that she had just received. The name of the magic itself was odd, but definitely sounded fun due to the fact that Nana had loved to go shopping. The spirit then stopped her body from swaying for a moment and focused on her energy. The men had taken notice and took advantage of the situation. "Yo, foxy lady! Good thing yo staying still so it makes it easier for us to catch yo!" the men screamed out in an excruciatingly annoying voice. Infuriated and simply annoyed, Nana focused on her magical power to support Vulpecula. She was curious and confident that Vulpecula would be able to defeat the men with ease since the men were in a drunken state. And by being in a drunken state, the men weren't able to focus on their actions and their thoughts became jumbled, so they were life with a wide amount of openings. If they weren't drunkards, then the situation could have proven to be slightly more difficult. "No discount is going to save you now! Shop-a-Holic Magic: Credit Card Crash!" Vulpecula screamed out. The moment the spirit had screamed that out, everyone in the area seemed to have put on an awkward face upon hearing the name of the magic. But what came next was simply spectacular, so to say. A large credit card had appeared above one of the men, crashing down on them. The impact of the crash had caused the man to fall flat onto the ground face first onto the gravel. The giant credit card then moved over to the other man who was merely a few paces near the other man, and then slashed turned on an angle to slash the man right in the shoulder. The slash against the shoulder caused the man to surprisingly jump to the left, tripping over the other man and rolling down a very small hill as he crashed into the bushes. "Good job, Vulpecula! And by the way, fabulous credit card!" Nana cheered with excitement as she was amazed by what Vulpecula had done. The spirit seemed to be pleased as she had seen how happy her new master was. But this wasn't exactly the time for the two to get all excited and happy yet, considering that there was one man left. The large credit had disappeared for a moment. The final and last man, who was sitting on the bench still, seemed to be more muscular than the other men. There were more bottles around him than there were on the ground, which evidently proved how much of a drunkard he was. Nana turned to face Blair. "You ready, Blair!?'' she screamed out with a passion in her voice. "Go for it, Vulpecula!" Nana called out to her spirit. The fox then nodded her head in agreement and put her hands together so that her palms were touching each other. She focused for a small moment, and then clapped. A large credit card then appeared once again horizontally in front of the drunken man as he had hopped off of the bench. Before the man could charge, Vulpecula focused the credit card to slash the man in the chest. The credit card moved to her will and hit the man hard in the chest, causing him to feel a decent amount of pain as he placed his hands on his chest in pain. "Blair, finish him off but don't do anything severe!" Nana called out to Blair. |

Blair couldn't help but stare in awe as Nana's cute spirit dispatched the two men with a giant credit card. Wow... Blair said quietly to herself. She wasn't sure what was more stunning, the spirit itself, or the way she fought. Blair watched as the spirit slashed the last man and left the rest for Blair to finish. That i can do! Gladly. Blair took of running towards the man as fast as she could. The jumped at him head first with her arms stretched out straight in front of her. Mid jump, her sleeves hardened and formed into fists. Blair figured this attack would easily finish him off. Before the impact, Blair twisted at the last second, adding in centripetal force into the attack. The end result had the man flying backwards a good fifteen feet through the air. Blair landed in a crouched position and smirked, proud of her final attack. Blair stood up and patted herself off, grinning at Nana. How was that? Blair threw up a thumbs up, and slung her arm around Nana. Lets just keep enjoying the night and pretend they didn't happen mk? |

It was a shocking sight to see when Nana had watched Blair quickly defeat the last man with ease. What came as a bigger shocker was the fact that Blair had managed to knock the man back a great distance. Nana simply stood there, with her jaw wide open as she felt as though she was watching the man fly back in slow motion; his eyes slowly blinked while his body was arched upwards on the upper portion of his body. His legs were facing the ground, but were beginning to raise up a little while his arms remained by each side of his body. The most noticeable thing about the man while he was in the air was the expression on his face. His left eye was wide open with his irises going to the left direction, while his right eye was the same as his left. The man's cheek seemed to have a small dent as it was pushed inwards by the force of Blair's punch; overall, the man seemed to be in a great amount of pain from the force of her punch. Another thing that Nana had taken note of was Blair's fist when the punch came in contact. It seemed to have harden or something, giving Blair an extra amount of power within that punch. Maybe she's a magic user or something, Nana thought to herself. It seemed a little impossible for someone like Blair to have knocked back such a man, but Nana didn't seem to mind. As the battle came to an end, Nana had realized that it was time for Vulpecula to go back into her homeland, otherwise known as the Celestial World. "Thanks for your help today, Vulpecula! Once I'm done with the festival, we can work out our contracts, okay?" Nana said cheerfully as she called out to the spirit. Vulpecula turned around and smiled. "Okay!~ Sounds good! It was nice to meet you, I can't wait to see you again!" Vulpecula said with a joyful tone. She waved Nana goodbye, and then quickly disappeared into the Celestial World as her body turned into golden like aura that faded away into the air. Nana then turned to face Blair, who had given a thumbs up for Nana and had suggested that the two continue enjoying the night and pretended that the whole incident had never happened. She agreed; all the fighting was quite unnecessary, and to be honest, random. There was absolutely no need to get drunk at a celebration like this where children and families were having the time of their lives. "Of course Blair! But I must say, we make quite a team!" Nana said as she stuck out her tongue a little. The pair then took the left route at the fork in the path to continue their small walk. The cool night air was simply refreshing; every time Nana breathed through her mouth, she could see the small water particles that condensed within the air. The forest part of the park seemed to maintain a peaceful and calm aura to it, which made Nana enjoy the calmness of the night. The owls hooted at a few points, but none of them seemed to have fazed Nana in any way what so ever. "It's so relaxing, Blair..." Nana said with a quiet tone to her voice. The only thing that had potential to scare Nana now was if a spider or a bug had appeared above her. Luckily for the pair, none of them had seemed to appear. She knew that the men back at the fork wouldn't be able to catch up or continue fighting, considering at how drunken and intoxicated they were. She shook her head to rid all thoughts of them, and then turned to face Blair. Nana was curious to know what Blair had done to the last man back at the fight; she seemed to have manipulated her hoodie in a way to give that punch the extra power. "Hey Blair, I noticed something about that sweater you're wearing. Do you have some sort of magic you use?" Nana asked politely. |

Blair was a bit sad to watch the spirit leave, as she waved goodbye to it with her lips pouting. The fun was over and now it was time to continue on. Blair looked back at the man, happy with her work, as the two walked back on the trail for the night. Nana had said how relaxing it was. That had Blair thinking. This might be the only night where she was actually relaxing. She had been doing a lot of magic practice and keeping up in martial arts. When was the last time she had a break? Blair instantly appreciated this night even more than she already did, and let her restless mind ease a bit. She agreed with Nana, We do make a pretty good team. The girls continued their stroll, enjoying the nice night and atmosphere. After a bit of walking, Nana had questioned Blair about her hoodie. Oh this thing? Well my magic is called Body Extension. I use this hoodie here as my medium. I can change the shape of these extra long sleeves, and use them in various attacks. Blair then hardened her sleeves into claws, showing them to Nana. See? Like this. Blair threw some quick punches in the air with the claws. My whole magic revolves around this giant hoodie. |

As Nana began to listen to Blair explain about her unique form of magic, Nana became more intrigued. When Nana was younger, she had read about all the different types of magic, but never had she heard about body extension magic involving the use of an article of clothing. She was curious to know the history of the magic, how Blair came across the magic, and any further details about the magic that could be explained. From what Blair had explained to Nana, Blair was able to extend the cloth of the hoodie and change its properties to aid her in battle; if such things were possible, then Blair had the potential of becoming an excellent melee fighter at both mid-range and long-ranged distances. Also, the magic seemed to be very versatile if she was able to change its properties; she didn't seem that strong right now, but in the future Nana knew that Blair had an infinite amount of potential to grow. And judging from Blair's fighting abilities back on the path, Blair could grow to become a powerful mage. Also, Nana had made a connection. Most of the people at the celebration were wearing kimonos just like Nana was, while Blair wasn't. She stood out, even though she still looked good. It appeared as though Blair didn't have her hoodie with her, then her magic would be completely nullified. Nana chuckled in her mind as she had figured out something with just a simple explanation from Blair. "Oh my gosh Blair, you definitely have an interesting magic there! I'm curious to see what other skills you can do with that wonderous hoodie of yours!" Nana said with a happy tone to her voice. The pair then continued to walk along the path, enjoying the fresh air. Nana was having an absolute great time getting to know Blair more; she had seemed like such an interesting, enthusiastic, and an overall enjoyable person to be around. There was something about Blair that had sparked a curiousity within Nana; all Nana knew was that she had wanted to hang out with Blair more. The walk was all about getting to know Blair more. Nana didn't really get the opportunity to explain or tell anything about herself; all she told Blair was that she was a Fairy Tail mage. Actually, she said it indirectly rather than directly to Blair. "Hey Blair, if you haven't realized it already, I'm a stellar spirit mage.~ I also belong to Fairy Tail, one of the biggest guild right now in Fiore. Oh yeah! Since you're a wizard too, are you planning to join a guild soon?" Nana asked with an intrigued tone to her voice. She looked at Blair and her hoodie; someone of Blair's prestige would definitely be able to join a guild and take on missions with ease with the amount of determination Nana had seen Blair with before. |
