There was a special celebration in Southgate Park today, and Blair intended on attending it. She wasn't sure what it was it was exactly, but she knew people had been talking about it, and it was supposedly a big deal, so Blair wasn't going to miss it. She slipped on her black hoodie, slid back the sleeves, and adjusted the hood. She let her sleeves then go back to dangling past her hands. She threw on her shoes, and headed out the door.

Today was going to be a wonderful day. She would get to attend the Celebration, she would go get some good food, and just love life! She couldn't wait to leave and start her day. She grabbed a bottle of water and took of towards the park. She followed a trail towards the park humming to herself as she walked. She finished drinking her water, and threw the bottle in the trashcan she passed on the trail. SCORE! Blair shrieked, as the bottle landed perfectly in the trashcan. Blair threw her fist up in victory and continued walking along. She just couldn't wait to get there.

The sun in the sky was beginning to lose its power as its shine began to fade away slowly. To make up for it, the beautiful colours of the sunset spread throughout the sky like a beautiful gradient, ranging in colours from red, pink, orange and yellow. Excitement filled Nana's heart as she was going to attend a celebration that was open to all. The celebration wasn't for a particular holiday; rather, it was just a party for celebrating all the hard work for the people of Magnolia. The citizens of Magnolia had surely worked quite hard over the year and this was the time when they would all be rewarded and with a festival to escape the work life and have some fun. Nana walked along the entrance of the Southgate Park with no clue on how to get to the celebration. In her heart, she had hoped that she would come across the celebration with ease if she had managed to catch a glimpse of bright lights or anything of the sort.

Outfit for this storyline!

For the evening, Nana wore a different variation of a kimono. The kimono covered the a little more than half of her body, as it consisted of black cloth as a base that was then layered with a purple and red cloth. The collar of the kimono didn't reach around her neck; instead, it wrapped around her shoulders elegantly with the black cloth as lining. The sleeves went up to her wrist and beneath the chest area was a large, silk golden piece that was tied around her in the form of a ribbon. Beneath the kimono were frills that acted like a small gradient as it was puprle at the top and then transitioned into a pinkish colour. Nana then wore stockings along with platform shoes to increase her height slightly. As far as accessories went, Nana wore a corsage-type hair piece that resembled a lot like a rose. The rose was accompanied by small black frills and then the same frills that was used beneath her kimono. Overall, Nana had looked very stylish for the evening.

As Nana was walking along the path, a woman with red hair wearing a hoodie had thrown a bottle of water into a nearby trash can and scored. "That was quite impressive!" Nana called out to the woman. She was quite impressed with the woman's accuracy, but it seemed as though she didn't hear her as she had already begun walking down the path more. Nana attempted to run in her platform shoes, but it didn't work out quite well as they weren't exactly the best running shoes to be in. Quickly walking at a quick pace, Nana caught up to the woman and called out to her once again. "Hey, that was an amazing thing you did back there!" Nana said cheerily.

Blair heard somebody calling to her as she continued walking down the path. A lady in a kimono had approached her complimenting her on the water bottle toss. Well thanks i guess Blair said, as she shrugged. Its not a big deal really. just throwing trash away. My name is Blair. Are you headed to the celebration as well? The girl looked quite dressed up, so it was a good chance she was indeed going as well. Blair smiled, though because of her hood, you couldn't really see her face that well. She began over thinking this, and quickly lowered her hood, which she rarely did. She moved her red hair out of her hoodie, and let it fall above it, the bright red clashing quite vividly with the pitch black of her hoodie. Blair's green eyes were shining in the light of the lamps coming on in the park.

She would love to talk with girl more and join her on her way to the celebration!

Once Nana had caught up to the mysterious woman, she was surprised to see how beautiful she looked in up close. The hoodie that the woman wore had blocked her face; the only thing that Nana could see from the woman's head was some red hair that flowed down. Luckily for Nana, the woman turned out to be quite a nice person as she kindly introduced herself to Nana. "My name's Nana. Nana Ui! It's very nice to meet you Blair!" Nana replied with a cheerful tone to her voice. "And yes, I am attending the celebration... although I seem to be a little lost," Nana said with a slightly sad tone to her voice. The pair began to walk at an average pace along a path in between large trees that stood tall and proud. As of the moment, they were in the forest area of the park; she had hoped to find the area where the festival was soon before she missed it.

A thought then occured to Nana. A map! Nana was sure that she had picked one up before she walked inside the park. Ahh, where is it!? Nana panicked in her mind as she began searching a couple of pockets on her outfit. The only things that she had managed to find were her stellar keys and a small piece of paper. Quickly pulling out the folded paper and opening it front of her, Nana's mood dropped down a level. Unfortunately, the paper was merely a poster to advertise for the event, not a map. "Oh no!" Nana shouted out loud as she pressed both of her hands against both cheeks with a shocked expression on her face. "I must have dropped the map somewhere when I was running towards you..." Nana said with a sad tone. The pair had already traveled a great distance within the park, and it seemed a little pointless at the time to go back and find the map.

Regardless, Nana still had the belief that she would be able to find the celebration soon enough if she just looked hard enough. With such a big celebration and a grand park, it shouldn't be that difficult; the lamps that lighted the path made the whole situation more facile to travel. With a deep breath, Nana continued to walk forward into the park with her new companion, Blair. "So Blair, are you a worker from Magnolia attending the celebration? It is a celebration for workers after all!~" Nana asked with a kind tone to her voice.

The young woman introduced herself as Nana. She was very nice and seemed to have good manners, which was always a plus to Blair. Nana had indeed been on her way to the celebration, yet was a bit lost. Yea...I'm not to sure where I'm going either. Blair said sadly. But I'm sure we will find our way! She said triumphantly as she threw her fist in the air. Blair and Nana began their stroll again following the path threw the park.

Nana began rifling through her outfit, apparently looking for something. She began saying something about a map. Blair's eye instantly lit up in excitement. They would finally find where they were going. It turned out that the map could not be found, and they were backing to wandering around the trail, hoping to find where they were going. Blair would not give up hope though. In fact she began to think of it as an adventure. She began to march and hum to herself, keeping the goal in mind. We are going to find out where its all going down, i promise! Blair again threw her fist in the air triumphantly.

"So Blair, are you a worker from Magnolia attending the celebration? It is a celebration for workers after all!~" The question had Blair thinking. She never really did any real work. Blair got her money by helping people. The occasional cat in a tree, beating up bad guys, always that sorta stuff. Uhh...no, not at all. I had no idea this is what it was... Blair scratched her head, which only looked like she put her hand on her head, as her sleeve dangled in a silly manner over her head.

They continued down the path for another ten minutes, until they finally saw it. The found the celebration. There were rides, dancing, food, everything Blair wanted. OH MY GOSH! WE HAVE TO RIDE THE FERRIS WHEEL! Blair squealed and began to drag Nana with her towards the rides. Blair loved to ride Ferris Wheels, and she loved to eat as well, and that was the next stop after the rides. SHe smiled a giant smile at Nana, and got in line for the ride.

As the pair began to walk down the path completely made out of dirt and gravel, a distant image of a large Ferris Wheel was seen. This was the moment the both of them had been waiting for! But until the both of them reached the celebration, Nana would take the opportunity to know her new friend, Blair a little better. To Nana, Blair seemed to be an enthusiastic and energetic girl who seemed to have a good sense of who she is. Although, it did make Nana chuckle when she found out that Blair had no idea what kind of event she was attending. This gave the impression that Blair was sort of oblivious and unaware of the things she was doing; but regardless, she seemed to be like a great person to be around. "You didn't know? I'm not even sure how you found out there was a celebration here. I'm going because I'm a Fairy Tail wizard, and the guild members are definitely workers of Magnolia!" Nana said cheerfully as she mimicked Blair by raising her hand in the air.

Within minutes, the pair eventually arrived at the celebration. It seemed as though the path they were walking on was the correct one, even if it did include many turns, crossing a few bridges, walking over a couple of large branches of thorns, and more. The first thing that Nana noticed were the loud sounds of people cheering, speaking, and music playing in the background. Everywhere around the large area were tents full of different activities to play in order to win prizes, food shops, and even amusement park rides! There weren't any street lights, but there were lamps that hung above the tents in a sphere-shaped container connected by strings. Children, parents, teens and all the like were having an enjoyable time as large smiles were wiped across their face. "We'll definitely ride the Ferris Wheel later, but looks like there's quite a huge line up right now..." Nana said with a calm tone to her voice. Nana looked around to see what the pair should do first. Hmm, I'm not hungry right now... so the best choice would be to play a quick game. But what is there that looks fun...? Nana thought to herself.

Looking around, there were a wide variety of tents available at the celebration. There was simply too much to choose from- including catching small goldfish in a large container of water, swinging a hammer down on a scale to win prizes, and even shooting fake targets with a plastic gun. After looking around for a few seconds, Nana's eyes had managed to catch onto something that appealed to her. "Come on Blair, let's go! I want to try out that one!" Nana shouted to Blair as she began running towards the tent. It was fairly small, but definitely appealing. The tent was primarily a light blue in colour but had small green, yellow, and purple stripes over it to give it an aesthetic touch. There was a middle-aged man within the tent standing in front of two stands that contained bowling pins with logos of dark guilds on it. In front of the man was a counter that contained three balls with the logos of the light guilds. "Why hello there, missy! What can I do for ya' today?" the man said with a raspy voice. "Hello!~ I would like to play, but would you care to explain the rules for me?" Nana said cheerfully. "Sure thing! The rules of the game are simple: you have three balls in front of you and the objective is to shoot all of the bowling pins down with the three. If you get them all down, you win a prize!" the man explained. "Sounds awesome! I'll try it, what about you, Blair?"

Blair's smile faded when she saw the line for the Ferris Wheel. There was no way she was going to be able to ride it for awhile. She decided she would go and enjoy the festivities and come back later when the line was shorter. There were games to be play everywhere, and there wasn't a single person around who wasn't smiling or laughing. Such a happy atmosphere, Blair couldn't help but bring her big smile back. Blair and Nana walked around looking at all the fun games to be played in the many colorful tents.

"Come on Blair, let's go! I want to try out that one!" Nana said to Blair. The tent she pointed to was even more colorful than the other tents. Of course Blair thought It draws so much attention to itself. It held a game with bowling pins wit dark guild logos on it. Sure, why not? Blair said, as she linked arms with Nana and walked together to the tent. Blair loved a good challenge, and these little games were always rigged. There was no way she was going to lose to some game.

There was a rather creepy looking man by the tent, with an even creepier voice. "Why hello there, missy! What can I do for ya' today?" Blair cringed slightly, hoping it wasn't noticeable. Nana asked for the rules to be explained. She was genuinely interested in playing this game it seemed. "Sure thing! The rules of the game are simple: you have three balls in front of you and the objective is to shoot all of the bowling pins down with the three. If you get them all down, you win a prize!" That didn't sound too difficult to Blair. She figured she could easily win this and get that prize. Nana agreed to try it, so it was settled. Yea, i guess i could give it a shot. Blair said with a smirk. Now she was in the zone. She was taking this serious, and it was just a game. She had this problem, of taking every little challenge too far.

They entered the tent, and took up their place in front of the pins. This shouldn't be too hard. Blair said heroically, throwing out a V for victory towards Nana. The man in the back of tent snorted at her statement, and handed them the balls. Blair put her hood back on, covering her face in the usual shadow. She drew back her arm, focused, and threw it with everything she had. The ball hit them dead in the center. SCORE! Blair shrieked. Blair had turned around in a victory pose after she saw the hit. The man running the gamed chuckled to himself. Whats so funny? Didn't think I could do it so easily? Blair said cutely. No, not at all. It's just...you didn't knock 'em all down young lady. Blair turned around slowly, a look of pure terror spread across her face. NOOOOOOO! Blair screamed. Blairs reactions were always extreme and over the top, and always comical. Only one pin had fallen in the group. She had thrown that ball as hard as she could, that ball should have torn through the pins. Blair said with despair.

She still had another try left to knock them down. She aimed, focused again, and filled herself with the thought It was only a fluke. This time i'll be serious. Blair threw the ball and it struck the pin on the right. The pin merely wobbled, mocking Blair with its metronome like movement. Blair fell to her knees in sorrow. Why can't i do it. She began sobbing, covering her face in her sleeves. She all of a sudden stopped, and stood up silently with a serious look on her face. She said nothing, but only looked at Nana and nodded at her. She then turned to the owner and silently bowed. She quietly said I have been defeated, i hope that you will be able to win in my stead. Blair lowered her head and waited near the entrance. She had always been over dramatic and took things too far. Her little act here was a clear example.

Even though the man in the tent was slightly creepy in a way with his greasy hair, uncleanly face and hideous outfit, Nana had simply decided to ignore all of it and focus on the game itself. When she had heard that Blair had wanted to try out the game too, Nana simply hopped up and down a little out of happiness. She watched Blair put on her game face as she was the first one to try out the game first. "Good luck, Blair!~" Nana cheered loudly to Blair. With such an intense expression on Blair's face, Nana was sure that she would have had perfect accuracy and would hit the bowling pins with ease; plus, Blair seemed like the type of person to be adequate in accuracy. Crossing her fingers, Nana eagerly waited for the moment her friend would throw the ball at the pin. For a short moment, Nana closed her eyes and waited for a few seconds. The sounds of pins being hit were heard- within that very moment, she immediately opened her eyes and saw Blair cheering with a victory pose, implying that she had struck them all down. Nana looked at the place where the pins were, and had noticed a majority of them had fallen down, except one. "Blair! That was amazing! You really do have awesome accuracy!" Nana said as she cheered with Blair.

All there was left was that single pin. The man seemed to chuckle at first at Blair, but Nana could notice the nervousness within his voice. A man like him didn't want to give out his prizes; he only wanted the customers to simply waste all of their money while he gained it. It was Blair's last chance to hit the final pin- if she were to fail, then she would only receive a consolation prize. Eagerness swarmed through Nana's body once again. "Go Blair! Whoo! If you can't do it, then no one can!" Nana cheered. It seemed like time stopped for a single moment when Nana saw Blair threw the last ball. Nana was completely sure that Blair had struck the last pin, but when time began again, it went to the right of the pin, missing it. Both Nana and Blair seemed to have a disappointed expression on their faces when the both of them had realized the result of the last throw was unfortunately a failure. Nana gave Blair a small hug and a pat on the back, implying that everything was okay. "Don't worry Blair! I'm going to win! For us!" Nana assured Blair.

"Looks like you're up, little missy," the gruesome man said with his scratchy voice. Some of the saliva from the man's mouth managed to come onto Nana's face as he spit when he spoke. Nana cringed a lot and wiped off the saliva off of her face and focused on the pins. The man then picked up the pins that were on the ground and placed them on the little table for Nana to aim at. Three balls were in front of her; so she had three tries to knock them all down. She picked up a ball and positioned herself as if she was prepared to battle; her eyes were focused on the bowling pins and she attempted to calculate the trajectory from the ball to the pins as much as possible. With a swing of her hand, she threw the ball straight at the pins, dead at the center of it. There was a small sound of a crash when the ball and collided with the pins. She blinked. Nana immediately began to jump up and down from where she was standing as she saw all of the pins being knocked down with simply just one try. "What- how- I don't understand- how did you manage to do that missy?" the man said with a shocked tone to his voice. His eyes were wide open and Nana could tell that he was quite surprised.

The man's jaw dropped for a few seconds, and then quickly shook his head to shake off the doubt he had. "Haha, it's called skill!" Nana said as she stuck out her tongue a little bit. Now that she had won, it was time for her to collect her prize. "Well, I've gotta admit. You have some skill young lady! Feel free to pick a prize that's in the tent," the man said with a raspy voice. Nana observed the tent, looking around to see if there were anything worth-while that was getting. There was everything ranging large stuffed animals, toys, and even a couple of magic items. Nana didn't quite like the thought of getting a stuffed animal or a toy as they would be a nuisance to carry around, so she looked at the magical items section. There were orbs to enhance elemental magic, a small collection of daggers, and more. But something had managed to catch Nana's eye; it was small, petite, and appealed to her. "Is that what I think it is...?" Nana peered in closer. She couldn't honestly believe it, there was a stellar key within the section! "Mister, would I get that silver key for a stellar spirit over there?" Nana asked politely. The man seemed to groan a little bit as he rolled his eyes, but he still listened to Nana and grabbed a key off of the wall and handed it to Nana. A new celestial spirit was added to Nana's keychain! "Thank you!~ Blair, I think you can pick something small since you didn't hit all of it..." Nana said as she poked Blair in the shoulder lightly.

All Blair could do is twitch. She stared at the pins on the ground. Nana had knocked them over with one try, while Blair could not. Blair began to turn the color of her hair, a bright red. Her fists were clenched in rage and her eyes were glaring at the man, the shifted to Nana, back to the man, it continued to go back at forth between them. Blair could say nothing, nor did she want to, because nothing positive would come out of her mouth if she spoke. Nana had picked out a silver key for her prize, which surprised Blair. Hmm, a stellar spirit mage. Interesting. She thought to herself. She began to wonder how good in a fight she was with those spirits. She didn't particularly like those types of mages, because they didn't fight for themselves, and Blair loved the fact that she could beat up anyone she wanted by herself. Nana offered a prize for Blair to pick out, but she refused and walked angrily out of the tent.

We played a game, now i'm hungry. At least i can't lose at eating. Blair said. She began to storm towards the food stalls. If Nana didn't know she was angry, she she should be able to tell now. Blair lowered her hood again after she felt her face wasn't red anyone and that she could at least fake a smile. Blair didn't want Nana to think she was weak or a loser, she had to find a way to prove she wasn't. Maybe later she would have a chance. She pondered the ways she could prove it, but there was something clouding her mind. The fact that she was starving. She had to get some food in her before she fell over dead. Blair and Nana finally got to the food stalls, and she could finally eat. Blair jumped around in excitement, So many to choose from! She shrieked. I don't know which one to pick, they all look like they have amazing food. Blair walked closer to one of the stalls in a group further down, she dragged Nana with her. Something about these ones appealed to her, and she had to check them out.

Lets eat here, it smells fantastic! The stall Blair chose was selling funnel cake. One of Blair's favorite foods at places like this. I knew i would find the right one. These stalls drew me to them. She taped her nose, and turned to the stall ready to order her funnel cake. Two Funnel Cakes pleeeeeease! Blair asked politely. She swayed in place as she waited for the food to be prepared. She was handed her food, and handed Nana hers. Well, while we eat this, lets take a walk, well, unless there was a specific food you wanted as well. Blair said. She was still eager to ride the Ferris Wheel, but that would have to wait until the food was finished being eaten and Blair was satisfied.

The moment Nana had turned to face Blair, Nana was surprised to see her reaction. She had originally thought that Blair would have been happy and be excited that Nana had gotten the bowling pins in one shot, but she was proven wrong. Nana observed Blair's expression as she had noticed her face slowly being consumed with frustration, and possibly a little dash of anger. She had noticed that her fists had clenched, giving the impression that Blair was attempting to hold her frustration inside and not release it while becoming a savage demon wanting to rampage the world while causing a great amount of destruction. Eventually, Nana watched Blair simply storm off into the rest of the celebration, looking for food. Nana turned back to the man at the tent to thank him. "Thank you for the key, it was a fun game by the way, mister!" Nana said cheerfully as she turned back to chase after Blair. "Come back anytime, little missy! And make sure to bring more friends with a lot of jewels!" the man shouted back as he let out a large chuckle that eventually transitioned into a grin.

As Nana was chasing after Blair, she began to wonder why Blair had acted like that. If she were to confront her, then she would have to understand the situation well. Reminiscing about the moment a few minutes ago, Nana remembered how Blair had reacted to the situation when she had missed the last bowling pin. She also remembered how Blair had reacted after Nana had gotten all the pins down in just one attempt; and that was when Nana had made the connection. Nana had realized that Blair must've seemed like a loser or a poor sport for not being able to hit all of the bowling pins down; but, that was never in Nana's thoughts. She had a good impression of Blair from the moment she saw her shoot the can into the garbage can at the beginning. From then on, Nana had never had a poor thought about Blair, in fact, she thought she was quite a great person. "Blair! Wait up!" Nana shouted as she had caught up to her friend. But a thing that she hadn't noticed was the surroundings around her. She was too focused on analyzing the situation that she had forgotten about the celebration.

Looking around, Nana had realized that they were in the food section of the area. There were countless shops for food- each with a different logo, different type of cuisine, and especially different types of outfits for each shop! It was like Nana and Blair had arrived at a food sanctuary, where any and all different types were included. There was everything, ranging from desserts, to meat shops where a large line of males were at, to cotton candy, to ice cream, and even a shop for selling dried lizards. Nana cringed at the thoughts of eating lizards because it didn't feel right- her body shivered and a slight twitch arrived to Nana's eyes as she continued to think about it. Apparently Blair had taken the initiative and had chosen a shop in such a glorious area; although, the fact that Blair had dragged Nana didn't quite make the situation prettier. Looking up, Nana had noticed that Blair had decided on a shop that sold funnel cakes. "Funnel cakes, huh? I don't think I've tried one before, but they sure look delicious!" Nana said with a cheerful tone to her voice. She let out a small chuckle as she listened to Blair stating that her nose had led her to the right stall.

Once Nana and Blair had received their funnel cakes, they went to a small bench to eat their food in peace. Nana looked down at her food and had realized how beautiful the cake had looked; even though there was the word 'cake' in the food, it oddly didn't resemble much like one. It looked as though it was baked to perfection with its golden, crunchy texture as it was accompanied with white sugar sprinkled all over it in an adorable manner. At the center of the 'cake' was a large scoop of strawberry and vanilla ice cream, which had just so happened to be one of Nana's favourite flavours of all time. With a fork and knife in her hand and the plate placed on her lap, she took a cut a small slice and popped it into her mouth. As she began to chew, she could feel the crunchy texture on the outside, but a delicious, soft texture on the inside. Nana looked up to the sky a little, implying that the food had tasted magnificent- almost as if it had came from heaven herself. "Oh my gosh, this is absolutely delicious! Your nose is totally right, it leads you to the correct stall!" Nana said in pleasure as she faced Blair.
