Hey everyone! It's May and you know what that means? Yeah, me neither. There's not a whole lot in terms of major news right now, except for maybe some clarification on some forms of magic like usual. As for a new event? Right now, we're just having the April Event (Bosco Invasion part 3) taking place, which runs into the middle of May. But, one cool new thing that we're introducing this month is SS-Class items. Now you have something to grind and agonize over! Yay, isn't that just lovely? I think so. You can find more info on that in the Equipment and Item Creation section in the rules. That's it for now, folks! If I get anything new to add to this you can guarantee that I will do so. Account Name:Franitz Name: Emmett Valentine Nickname: Emms (What he is referred to by most people end up calling him without permission, a nickname that annoys the heck out of him) Emsie (what his mother used to refer to him as) Age: 18 Gender: M Height: 5'9 Weight: 145lbs Guild: Reputation: 0 Class: D Physical Description: Emmett has straight, light chestnut hair that is parted to the side. His hair reaches right above his shoulders and edges out the the tips and his brown eyes are usually hidden under his sunglasses. He is not super pale, but not tan either. It's obvious that he has spent many time inside. His body is slender but also toned. Clothing: Emmett wears a fitted white dress shirt with sleeves rolled up to about his mid elbow. He wears designer slacks with a pin-strip design. And designer dress shoes. Accessories: A tight leather choker that is all the rage in high fashion. Large framed designer black sunglasses that just make him look like a jerk. A rare, very expensive gold watch, it's also a magical watch that automatically changes to any give time zone as soon as you enter it. A large ring on the ring finger of his left hand. Its made of real silver and bulkier than it needs to be, it displays his family crest. He usually flaunts it around as a sign of his nobility. Extra: Picture: Personality Emmett can be described in one word... Jerk. He has the typical snobbish personality of a spoiled rich kid. Most of his comments usually involved some sort of sarcasm, and he does not like to waste his time on petty things. Emmett usually looks down upon the poor, even though he is also strapped for cash, and always assumes he is better than everyone else. Though Emmett is selfish and off-putting he does have a sense of right and wrong, though he sometimes tends to ignore it. For example, he would give money to a friend in need by saying something like "I don't need this extra coin, I already have sooo much money and it would be a pain to have to carry anymore." or he would fight a group of thugs trying to hurt a young woman by saying "Unlucky for you I just upgraded my new armor with my loads of money, and now something weak to test out my amazing abilities." So even if he has the right intentions he will never admit to it. Lastly, Emmett usually refers to himself as rich, but being kicked out of his house he is just as strapped for cash as any young traveler. History Emmett was born to a very rich but loving family. On his fifth birthday his mother, who was also very ill at the time, bought him a present, Ludvig. A powerful magical clockwork robot. When she bought this she said "This is a rare and special model Emmett! You want to know why? Because this model was said to be given a soul by a very powerful mage, so the more love you Ludvig the stronger it'll become. So you train hard and you and Ludvig will become a powerful team very soon!" Sadly, knowing she didn't have much time left on this earth she bought Ludvig so she could protect Emmett even after she died. A few years latter the she passed, leaving Emmett bitter towards Ludvig, and unbelieving that something that reminds him of something so painful could have a soul. Even though he continued to train with his body guard because he knew it was what his mother would want. As time grew on Emmett found comfort in his father's wealth. Spending large masses of money on petty things. He become very spoiled and his attitude only worsened. He was mean to the maids, and servants. And when his father asked him why he treated them like slaves he replied "Because they should be." As time went on Emmett's father decided it was time to pass the family business onto an heir, Emmett. He immediately knew that would be an idea which caused him to reflect upon himself as a parent. He decided he cared too much for his child to let him go through life acting like a spoiled brat and decided to correct his son's behavior problem by showing him the real hard knock life and sent Emmett packing out the door when he was 16 years old, and told him not to return until he truly understood what it meant to be a kind person. Weaponry Emmett carries a "slide spear" it is a spear that when unsheathed it appears as a same rod about 6 inches long kept in a holster at his side. But because the spear is made of different segmented parts and when Emmett twirls the rod is slides into a full blown spear. When unsheated the spear actually pretty plain looking, just a jet black handle with a typical pointed spear heard. Also, on Emmett's left ear he has a single earring that bears the marking of his family crest, this earring is actually a homing device that lets Ludvig know where Emmett is at all times and passively pursue. It also allows Emmett to enter Ludvig into combat mod, shut him down completely, or even mentally control his movements. Ludvig: Ludvig is a rare model of bodyguard and it is uncommon to see another bodyguard mage with a similar looking model. Ludvig stands at about 7'ft tall, Ludvig has very broad shoulders, and resembles a suit of armor. His body is completely covered in a metallic white lacquer that is always kept perfectly maintained by Emmett, because a dirty looking bodyguard would make him look less becoming. On Ludvig chests lies the Valentine family crest, which is a two symmetrical cranes perched opposite of each other sitting on a banner, wings spread. On Ludvig's back lies a very large jousting lance, and underneath lies a large shield that in a traditional shape that is kept over Ludvig's flowing black cape. Stats - 50 Strength:4 Dexterity:4 Agility:4 Stamina:4 Speed:4 Magic:15 (30) Stat Points Earned: 0/0 Jewels Earned 100,000/100,000 Sources Magic Name: Bodyguard magic- Ludvig Magic Type: Bodygaurd Tier of Magic: 3 Rank: 2 Magic Description: Through the use of his magically earring, or other jewelery or items, depending on the bodyguard model, the user is magically connected to a clockwork robot. Because of this the user can mentally control the robot during battle, while still being free to use ones own body to attack freely. A bodyguard robot can easily be upgraded in many different ways but can often be pricey. It is also impossible for a user to use more than more bodyguard at a time or even be connected with another bodyguard until the the original bodyguard the mage has made a connection with has been destroyed. When not in combat through science, not magic, the bodyguard constantly seeks out the mage passively following him where ever he/she goes unless turned off. In combat, even though Ludvig is bulky he is fairly agile in battle and Emmett usually perfers to have Ludvig fight with his fists, though he does carry a lance and a sheild if fighting a heavy armored foe the weapons become more effective, though his attacks slow down when using said weapons. It is rumored that Emmett has a special rare model of bodyguard because it was given a soul, so the more you love it the stronger it will become. Emmett has yet to be able to test this out because of the painful memories his bodyguard brings him, and maybe the fact that he treats it like a slave. Techniques: (used/maximum) Invoke Ludvig - 2 Type: Summon Range: 30 yrds Effect: Allows Emmett complete control over Ludvig, mentally controlling his movements while still leaving his own body free to move at will. You have my stamp of Approval 1/2 Keep in mind that this character might be revamped (unaccepted) once the site goes under maintenance for we might be implementing a new system which incorporates your summon/robot. |

Your going to need to change your Stats to fit with the New Stat System. Lose Dexterity and Agility and replace them with Accuracy. You also lose 5 stat points seeing as Starting characters only start with 45 points now. |
