Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

no cause anything made using quotes form the bible without taking into account proper context as well as that the modern world which is far different from that in which the bible was written are plain redundant.

God does not change; what he said yesterday is the same today. Also I didn't put the whole chapter because that would be pointless I only needed one verse, If you'd like to read the passage and you'll see it has the same meaning in context as outside of context.

Ok then if we want to pull verses, where is my slave and as you say god does not change so...

"However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way. (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)"

so all I have to do is find a new zealander and buy a slave off him?

*looks forward to life of having to do nothing but get slaves to do stuff*

so before you just said god never changed, and now you just said that what things back then where not what they were today?

So does that imply that you cannot literally take things?

also I love this quote

"The Bible contains six admonishments to homosexuals and 362 admonishments to heterosexuals. That doesn't mean that God doesn't love heterosexuals. It's just that they need more supervision. ~Lynn Lavner"

And that thing against slavery only applies to isralites which I am sure most new zealanders are not so I can still get them as a slave.

also that timothy quote is in reference to the law being good when used properly and the version I have mentions nothing about homesexuality instead mentioning perverts.

basically the context as I understand it is if you are a good person you don't need the law but only if you have evil then you need it to constrain you, I do not see it as targetting homosexuality as evil.
