Late afternoon, just after the sun set. A young boy dressed in flamboyant clothing stands below a street light in a more shabby part of town, being observed by a few people passing by. Unlike all the other street lights, the light above him seems to glowing a translucent array of many colors, very similar to that of a rainbow. The boy then soon then announces himself as "Cam, the color mage." And puts a small satchel on the ground from out of his pocket. He then starts to move his hands in a flowing motion as the light soon starts to morph into tiny butterfly's that start to flutter around in random motions leaving around tiny trails of golden sparkles. The small group of 3 or 4 people start to clap, 1 of them throwing a few coins in the satchel as the young boy takes a bow and then goes on his way.
Cam then takes a seat on a nearby park bench and slowly starts to count the small amount of money in his satchel. "Not very much, but I must be thankful for any coins I receive." And with that Cam opens up the palm of his hand revealing one of the butterflys from his act and lets out a drawn out sigh.

“What’s up with this place?” Tewi muttered to himself. Tew had wandered into town with the intention of scaring some people but he couldn’t even surprise one person. He had tried his hardest to scare a group of small children that were playing hide-and-seek by creating a boundary of darkness but one of the kids actually used it as a hiding place. And to make matters worse, the other kids came along and also started hiding in his boundary. They weren’t even a little bit frightened. Then after he dropped his boundary they all attacked him and blamed him for taking away their hiding spot. Tewi rubbed his shins, why did little kids always have to kick him in the shins, in the same exact spot every time? “I think I lost them…” Tewi peered out from the tree he was hiding behind and looked around the area. Great, he couldn’t see any of the little ankle-biters. “Ah, finally, I got away. This place sucks; the kids here can’t appraise my talent.” Of course, Tew meant “appreciate” but he was an idiot and ended up using another word.

Tewi decided that it was a great time to look for more prey but he didn’t really want to leave the park. It wasn’t like he was actually afraid of the kids that attacked him; he just… didn’t want to run into them. He was ready to make up more excuses when he spotted a potential target, a lone boy sitting on a park bench, and he had some money to. Tewi thought for a moment, sure his new target was older than the kids that viciously attacked him but he was alone, which meant that he wouldn’t get kicked in the shins several thousand times. He clenched his fist tightly; he decided that he wasn’t going to let the opportunity pass. Tewi left his hiding place behind the tree and began to slowly walk towards the bench. He was walking slowly since he believed that if he walked very slow people wouldn’t be able to tell if he was moving or standing still. However, half way between the tree and the bench, he stopped walking. His shins, they were burning like the fires of an angry supernova. "Okay, okay, calm down, take it easy. He can't see me if I don't move..." He told himself. Still, he wouldn't be able to scare his target from where he was, wait, or would he? "Your pants are on fire!" He shouted, in attempt to surprise the boy sitting on the bench.

"Ahhhh!" Cam jumped startled, let out a yelp, and a bright flashing light exuded from his body He was more startled by the yelling rather than what was said. Cam soon composed himself, but was still shaken, he had his run in of thugs after his performances and wasn't particularly good at combat.
Cam stood there blinking for a few seconds before looking down to check if his pants were really on fire. Relieved they weren't he started to approach the strange looking boy. "It seems my pants are not on fire, but I really thank you for your concern." He then took a coin out of his pocket and placed it in the strange boys hand giving off a really polite smile.

Tewi’s mind went black, he couldn’t even shield his eyes from the bright flashing lights. Did he actually manage to scare someone? Did he… no, it had to be a trick. But that “Ahhhh!”, it was the unmistakable sound of surprise. Tewi looked down at the coin the boy placed in his hand. He even gave him money, now Tewi knew something was wrong. He narrowed, while taking a few steps away from him. “Serious killer, you’re one of those serious killers, aren’t ya?” He took a few more steps back, ignoring the pain in his shins. “You were surprised because you were busy thinking of where to bury the body, weren’t ya? You can’t fool me, I’m too smart.” Then it hit him, he made a mistake. He looked at the coin in his hand again. “…a bribe, this is a bribe, isn’t it? …But I accepted it… I’m… accomplished.” Of course he meant “accomplice” but, once again, he was an idiot.

Tewi opened his pouch and dropped the coin in before closing it, there was nothing he could do about it now. “Okay, take it easy. Just tell me where the body is. I have a shovel, so we can bury it.”

"No, no, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding but I wouldn't hurt anyone." Cam immediately started bowing his head apologizing repeatedly for the misunderstanding, he seemed flustered. If there was one thing Cam hated it was offending people or making them feel uncomfortable. "It wasn't a bribe just a token of appreciation for helping me see my pants weren't on fire... please if you'll just let me explain... I...I'm...sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry." Soon cam looked up and noticed the shovel..."Why exactly do you carry around a shovel anyways, if you don't mind me asking?" He asked in a more inquisitive voice. "Someone your age might accidentally hurt yourself carrying such a thing around." Cam started to scan the boy with his eyes. "And if you don't mind me saying so you look a little tired and your cloths are dirty, why don't you let me take you somewhere to eat." Cam quickly ravaged through his bag to see his available funds, not much. "And then we can maybe take a look at those scraps on your shins, my mother always warned me that even the smallest scratch could get a serious infection."

“A token of apprehension, eh? Okay then, I’ll accept your offering! Make sure to give me more money in the future, I’ll help you out!” What the boy said didn’t really make much sense to Tewi but he decided to dismiss it, after all, he was given money. He was ready to explain the uses of his shovel when the boy mentioned something about his age. “Someone my age? But I’m…” He stopped in the middle of his sentence when the boy started talking about his clothes and his shins. Tewi began to slowly back away again. “Now you’re trying to kidnap me, aren’t ya?! This must be how you got the last person you killed?!” He shouted, pointing an accusing finger at the boy. “I told ya already, I’m too smart, ya can’t fool me! And another thing, don’t underesti… understa… underestanti… don’t undress me, I’m not a little kid! I’m…” Tewi began to trail off; he couldn’t remember how old he was, well, he actually did know how old he was but he forgot the exact number. Tewi put his computation skills to work and held up his hands, with seven of his fingers up. “I’m this old, I think… no! This is definitely it! You don’t know who ya dealing with!”

"I can't believe you still want to kill me even after I said I'd help you bury the body!" Tewi shook his head, were all serial killers so shrewd? "You can still relish this, but I'll only help you if you give me more offerings."

"No..but...I..." Cam let out a breathy sigh, and then looked down at his satchel. Only one coin left, but due to the boy's appearance he figured he probably needed the money more than him anyways. Cam then stood there trying to think of something he could say that wouldn't be taken out of context, he figured it was inevitable. This boy was just a weird one, in any case; Cam got out his last gold coin, he wasn't about to let a stranger in need go without having any money and if the boy though he was a weird serial killer so be it. He slowly approached the boy and dropped his last gold coin into his hand. "Sorry for scaring you earlier, I'm not a serial killer. Too be honest I don't really know much about serial killers. I'm just a common street performing." And with that Cam waved his hand in almost a figure 8 motion as chromatic figures of assorted animals started to prance around them in the air. And with the flick of his hands they were gone. "I'm Cam by the way."

“That’s magic, right?” Tewi asked, watching the boy produce an assortment of animals. “I can do some of that stuff too.” He took a moment to consider what the boy said, he still didn’t trust him but he figured that anyone who gave him offerings probably couldn’t be a serial killer, probably. “Hm, I get it now, ya one of those weird beggars that do tricks for money. You sure you don’t wanna be a serrulate killer? Street begging doesn’t seem that interesting.” Of course, Tewi didn’t have a right to call the boy in front of him a beggar since he himself was practically a thief. Tewi attempted to memorize the boy’s name but immediately found that he couldn’t even though it was only three letters and just had it told to him. “…I’ll never remember that… I’m calling you Cammy.” Ah, now that was a name he could easily remember. “Okay, Cammy, I think I get it now! You’re being nice to me because you want me to double your wealth!” He shouted, slamming his fist into his open palm.

“I see, I see! Rest easy, Cammy, in exchequer for your generic offering I, Tewi, will double your wealth!” He exclaimed, finally walking towards Cam instead of stepping away from him. “I’m only helping ya because you’re an interesting weirdo, got it? Be glad!”

"Interesting weir....and Cammy is a girls na...." Cam let out an almost awkward smile which then turned into a more pleasant smile. "Okay! Sounds fun! And we can split the earnings fifty fifty, unless you want more." Cam really hated taking help from others, not because he was stubborn or prideful, but because he never really felt like he was worth it. But this boy was just too weird, too different, but also really refreshing, and Cam's life had become a little routine as of late. "And by the way, now that we are on a first name basis. I never caught yours."

“Name’s Tewi. It was the strongest name I thought up. And no way, you’re taking all of the cash. Ya gonna owe me a lot more in the future so you’ll need it.” With that, Tewi began to walk towards the edge of the park, but he raised a hand, motioning for Cam to start following him. “Right, if ya wanna double your wealth ya’ve gotta follow my intrusions without questing, got it?” Without waiting for a reply from Cam he continued. “See, this is how it is. We have’ta collect offerings from all of my worshipers in this town, but a lotta of ‘em are unfruitful these days so we gotta take it by force! Also, we can’t let anyone see me. Actualize, it’ll be okay if they see me, just as long as you collect the offerings.” What Tewi described sounded a lot like thievery, and it probably was, actually, it definitely was. He was planning on using Cam to conduct petty pilfering. Suddenly, Tewi stopped and turned around to face Cam. “One more thing, Cammy, if my worshipers shout something like ”Help, authorities, that thief is back again!!” they’re just praising me and ya should run away so they don’t put fancy bracelets on ya. It’s a cool offering but it’s really hard ta get off, it’s tha’ thought that counts though.” The sad thing was that he actually believed that handcuffs were offering from his worshipers.

Tewi turned back around, ready to start walking again, but stopped again. He was lucky enough to spot potential prey so soon. Tewi looked at two defenseless looking old men sitting on a bench and chatting happily. “Woah, this park is like a beating ground for worshipers!” He shouted. “Okay, Cammy. Do you remember what I told ya?”
