On the last edition of Monday Night RAW, Mick Foley bested Jon Moxley in an outrageous Hardcore Match. "The Hardcore Legend" got a taste of sweet revenge on Moxley, but a new challenge awaits Mick at the next Pay-Per-View, Over the Limit, in the form of "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. If Mick defeats "The Showstopper", he gets entered into a 6-Man Ladder Match for the WWE Franchise Undisputed Title. The scene begins in catering at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. We see Mick Foley, in his signature attire of a flannel red jacket, his "Wanted: Dead" T-Shirt, black sweatpants, and tennis shoes, sitting at a table with a plate of food. It's Cookout Day for WWEF catering, and Mick's plate has a cheeseburger, hot dog, and baked beans. The cameraman sits down across from Foley as WWEF Interviewer Joey Styles sits down beside Mick. Joey Styles: Hello fans, this is Joey Styles here for an WWEF.com exclusive interview with "The Hardcore Legend" Mick Foley. Now Mick, last Monday you defeated the up-and-coming superstar Jon Moxley in a brutal Hardcore Match. Now after Jon blindsided you two weeks ago, do you believe you got your revenge on him in the Hardcore match, or do you think Moxley deserves more? Mick Foley: Y'know Joey, that's a good question, because I believe there are two answers to it. From my point of view, Mr. Moxley has had enough. I gave him his lashings and I am moving on. However, I'm sure if you asked Jon, he'd want more. He'd want one more whipping from ol' Mick Foley. Y'see Joey, Moxley is a sucker for punishment. He's like a crash test dummy; the more you hurt him, the more fun he'll have. Moxley may want more, but the amusement park is closing and he can't ride this roller coaster again. For now, anyway... Joey Styles: Let's now move to the subject of Over the Limit. You're facing off against Shawn Michaels, the only WWEF Triple Crown Champion in this company's illustrious history, for a spot in the main event; a six-man Ladder match for the vacant WWEF Undisputed Championship. What are your thoughts on HBK and the other possible participants in that title match? Mick Foley: Shawn Michaels is a man who I will not take lightly. Nobody can win all those titles by being a pushover. However, I wonder if Shawn will hold me in the same regard. We all know Shawn has quite the ego, so will "The Heartbreak Kid" take me seriously this Sunday? If not, I may surprise Shawn before he can think straight and win without much of a problem, but if Shawn gives me his A-game, he and I can put on a classic match that no one will forget for years to come. Now if I do manage to hand "The Showstopper" a loss, I will be put into the main event for the Undisputed Title against 5 other men who've won their earlier matches too. And in a Ladder match, no less! One of the most destructive matches in wrestling history, this match shortens careers with falls from tremendous heights and clashes between bone and steel. Of course, this sounds like a paradise for me and my friends, though I'm not sure how fast I'll be climbing that ladder, to be honest. I've never enjoyed heights, but for a prize like the Undisputed Title, I'll do anything. Besides, if I have my way, none of my opponents will even be able to move when I'm finished with them, much less stop me from grabbing the belt. As for potential opponents, I'm not concerned with who wins any of the matches. Whether they be established main eventers like CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, or Chris Jericho, or a new face like Curt Hawkins, Damien Sandow, or even ol' Jon Moxley, I'm going to look at them all as fresh meat, like this hot dog... Mick picks up his hot dog and takes a bite. He chews and swallows his bite before cleaning his mouth with a napkin. Mick Foley: Mmm...delicious! You really should go fix yourself a plate before it's all gone, Joey. Joey Styles: Well I am famished, but in a minute, Mick. Do you have any last words for the fans or your potential opponents? Mick Foley: To my fans, thank you for all the support. You guys keep this ugly dirtbag going after all the years of concussions, broken bones, and near-death experiences. As for everyone in this tournament, get ready for something ugly in the main event. And for everyone watching the Pay-Per-View, expect the unexpected whenever Mick Foley is on your television screen! Bang Bang! And have a nice day! Now go get some food before you shrivel up and blow away, Joey. Joey Styles: You don't have to tell me twice. For WWEF.com, I'm Joey Styles, signing off! Ooh, is that chili? With that, Joey gets up and heads to the food table. Mick smiles as he takes a bite into his cheeseburger. The scene fades to black. |
