Four Pounds Of Gold. Part I.
Published by 19th June 2012 by WWEFNewAgeOutlaws

(The video buffers and we see 'Road Dogg' Jessie James standing in the sunshine in Washington, D.C. It's the day after Monday Night RAW and Road Dogg seems to be in good spirits. He is wearing a pair of black running shorts with white trim and white Adidas sneakers. He has a black vest over this torso and a pair of Von Zipper shades over his eyes. Behind him is a large blue van with faded paintwork. Road Dogg speaks directly to the camera.)

Road Dogg - "Last night, right here in our nations capital in Washington, D.C, me and Billy Gunn teamed up with a third Outlaw, an honorary Outlaw for one night only, the beautiful Velvet Sky. For the first time since we debuted in the WWE Franchise we were wrestling in the main event! Velvet Sky is a former WWEF Undisputed Champion, she's been in bigger main events than last night but for me and Billy last night was special. Last night meant alot to us. We're getting on a bit, we admit, as the years go by we can feel our joints getting stiff, we can feel our muscles getting weaker but godamnit we're still here each and every single night doing what we love - and to pick up the victory against Love & Lace was just made that medicine a whole lot sweeter."

(Road Dogg rubs the palms of his hands together as he reminisces about last nights main event.)

Road Dogg - Two months ago, me and Billy were unemployed, we thought that our careers were over. We were travelling with independent wrestling companies working for peanuts and doing signings for fans - we didn't care about the money, we just wanted to do what we do best and that's wrestle and entertain the fans. But when you're working night in night out in front of just fifty to a hundred people a night it always feels like there's something missing. Back in the day, I used to compete in front of millions in the WWE as part of D-Generation-X and New Age Outlaws. Me and Billy Gunn would sell out arenas with our antics and our in-ring performances and all the while we were competing to fifty to a hundred people we were missing something. We would sit at home and me and Billy would think to ourselves 'What's missing?'. It most certainly wasn't the flair for professional wrestling, we've been in the business so long that now there's no turning back. We just need something a little...how can I explain it...'extra'. We needed something 'bigger'. We needed to get to the top of that mountain once again."

(Road Dogg grins as he is deep in thoughts, trying to convey his emotions verbally to the camera.)

Road Dogg - "Then me and Billy had a phone call from an old and dear friend, a friend who has been at the top of the mountain since we were there - just he never fell back down. He stayed up there, in fact you could say he pissed in all four corners of the top of that mountain and marked his territory there because he hasn't left and nobody else has been as high as him - that man is Hunter Hearts Helmsley, the Chief Operating Officer of the WWE Franchise. He gave us a phone call and said "Boys, I want you back. There's a big hole missing in the wrestling industry right now and only one tag team can fill it." That team was The New Age Outlaws."

When me and Billy signed the contract we made a deal with Triple H that we don't want any favours, we don't want any special treatment, we just want to do what we love to do and we want to climb our way back to the top of the tag team mountain. We've kinda got involved in a little scenario between Love & Lace and Stephanie McMahon, but when it means that we could be put in a Tag Team Championship match at the first Pay Per View back - then so be it. Stephanie is a good friend to us and if she has a problem we will happily help her - but at Over The Limit, this whole thing between me, Gunn and Love & Lace is entirely personal. It's about the New Age Outlaws and nobody else. It's about the New Age Outlaws becoming the first WWEF Tag Team Champions of this era and we're pulling out all the stops. Last night, Billy Gunn pinned Angelina Love after a Fame-Asser, next week the story isn't going to be that much different. Maybe, because we like to mix it up a bit, we'll make it a Shake, Rattle & Roll on Lacey Von Erich? A spike piledriver on Angelina? Who knows! But when all is said and done, me and Billy will be stood in the middle of the ring with our hands held high over our heads and in our hands will be four pounds of gold - the WWEF Tag Team Championship belt!"

(Road Dogg lifts his clenched fists in the air and looks up, imagining the gold in his hands.)

Road Dogg - "For the D-O-double-G there is no such thing as second place. Love & Lace, Evan Bourne & Zack Ryder, Madison Rayne & Velvet Sky - you can all fight between yourselves and decide who the best second place is while you're watching me and Billy raise the belts high above our heads. Next Saturday night in the Staples Centre, history will be made. - and if you ain't down that then I've got two words for all of you..."

(Road Dogg crotch chops the camera.)

Road Dogg - "...Suck it!"

(Road Dogg opens up the drivers side door of the blue run down van and steps inside, he starts the engine as the scene fades to black.)
