It was a day of reckoning.....

JR: Randy Orton has just WON the WWEF Championship!

King: He won it all...

Cole: That's how Wrestlemania will end tonight!

Wrestlemania One... the culmination of sports entertainment and professional wrestling. Two larger than life athletes, fighting for the right spot, the TOP spot. The WWEF Heavyweight Championship was on the line... Randy Orton one on one with the late great, Brian Pillman. We head back now to that glorious day in what has begun the start of a Franchise... an empire with nothing to lose!

JR: "The WWE Title will be decided!"

King: "Orton or Pillman which will do it?"

The bell sounds.

Brian Pillman And Randy Orton get ready to fight. Orton runs in with a clothesline and misses as Pillman ducks and starts throwing cheap shots at Orton. Orton backs away after he gets hit with two right hands and tells Pillman to stop, Pillman smirks and calls Orton a punk, just then Orton pokes Pillman in the eye and Irish whips him towards a turn buckle.

JR: "That was a disgraceful move! Just shows lack of character and depth in this superstar."

King: "Oh Come on JR, If you ain't doing everything in your power to win then you ain't trying."

Orton climbs up to ropes and punches Pillman, counting along loudly with each punch-1,2,3,4,5 REVERSAL. Pillman grabs Orton's hand and gives him a couple of right hands. Orton falls of the ropes and backs into the middle of the ring. Pillman comes running in and cross bodies Orton. Pillman gets up and taunts as Orton lies there.

JR: "That's why hes a WWE Legend folks!"

Pillman then walks to the bottom right turnbuckle and climbs it. He taunts on top of it and then goes for a leg drop but Orton moves out just in time. Pillman hits the floor and is down. Orton lifts him up and delivers a back breaker. He then Irish whips Pillman onto a rope and bends down, but Pill man comes kicks Orton on the chest. Orton lifts his head up only to get drop kicked by Pillman as the fans cheer.

JR: "Rookie mistake!"

King: "Randy Orton is no rookie JR take it from me. He's the youngest heavyweight champion in pro wrestling history, and he may become WWE champion today again!"

JR: "Not if Pillman has his way."

Both men are down. Pillman is the first to get up. He locks Orton into a Crucifix armbar. Orton struggles trying to break free but he is trapped. He tries to move towards the ropes but Pillman successfully drags him back to the center.

King: "This could be it JR. This could be the end of this match up right here"

Orton suddenly gets the momentum from somewhere and begins to fight the hold. He breaks free and hits Pill man with a couple of right hands and then a neck breaker. He taunts and then moves towards to grab Pillman but Pillman hits him with a Russian leg sweep. Orton is down Pillman gets up and climbs a turnbuckle. He taunts for Orton to stand up. Orton stands up and in one swift motion holds the referee in front of him. Pillman missile drop kicks the referee. Both the referee and Pillman are down. Orton goes outside the ring and gets the ring bell. Pillman barely manages to stand up and is hit by the ring bell square in the face.

JR: "That should have been a disqualification right there! That was illegal! That was illegal!"

King: "What the referee doesn't see he cannot call."

Pillman is down and his foreheads been cracked open. Pillman is bleeding. Orton stands by the far turnbuckle waiting for pillman to get up so Orton can RKO him. Pillman gets up but reverses the RKO. and delivers an enziguri to Orton. Pillman taunts as he waits runs towards the ropes and Springboards, going for the Air Pillman, Orton ducks just in time. Pillman slowly stirs and gets up, this time to be hit with the RKO!

King: "RKO! RKO! ITS OVER! ITS OVER!"

He hooks the leg of Brian Pillman.

1...
2...
3!!!

JR: "Randy Orton has done it. He is the WWE Champion!"

Result: Randy Orton def. Brian Pillman via Pinfall

Randy Orton celebrates as he is given the WWE Championship.

...Only to lose it a short few weeks later... to the Undertaker!

(The Phenom had set it in stone that he was going to be the ONLY top champion the company was going to have... so he took his frustrations out on the competition, the man who was holding another title, both Taker and Orton held the WWEF Title and World Title each... it would end up being where both champions faced off to create the WWE Franchise UNDISPUTED champion.

It wasn't pretty though... Randy Orton lost the match to The Undertaker and Taker never looked back... but here's what Randy Orton thinks of the matter... and today's WWE Franchise compared to the past and when he started out with the company...)

Randy Orton: There is.....

(He takes a deep breath, being at his home in St. Louis, MO with WWEF ListThis!)

Randy Orton: There is a place and time for everything... I had my destiny when I became the FIRST WWEF Heavyweight Champion. Yeah, Undertaker won the World Title, yeah his streak lived on another year, but my match was first! I was the first champion crowned at the top but unfortunately it all ended just a short week later on Monday night Raw... No I don't regret that night, no I don't think I saw it coming, but in this business you have to be prepared for anything, even if that includes trying to go through one of the greatest minds in the biz, Undertaker.

(Randy takes a gulp from his water bottle, just finishing a work out for his return to WWEF television...)

Randy Orton: But I did go on later in my career to accomplish even more... I was a main event star, I still AM a main event star...

(He smirks)

Randy Orton: I have become an Undisputed Champion again, formed the greatest team of all time with a man I will get too in just a second... I even showcased some of the greatest and biggest pay-per-views this company has seen or will see. I have been given the ball to run with on the Raw Supershow this Monday night in Boston. Me and Edge, my former partner who I was talking about... Rated RKO, yeah you remember... we face off but in a three way elimination match with a guy that I guess you could say me and Edge agree on is a loser, a punk, a star stealer and more.. and that's John Cena!

(Randy shakes his head, focusing on his upcoming match.)

Randy Orton: There is a lot of talent on this return show for WWE Franchise and John Cena is one of them... I've faced you in the past, I've actually seen you put your tail behind your legs... because when it comes down too it, there is NOBODY like the Legend Killer, the Viper, the WWEF Apex Predator, ME... Randy Orton! Elimination style... that means it could go many different ways... so I MUST watch my back at all times. Cena, Edge.. I know they'll do whatever they can to win it, I KNOW that. But I will slither my way in and when I get the chance I won't hesitate to keep those two out of the main event picture and end it all... with either a PUNT, or... as many people have found out first hand... an R...K...O!

(Randy sits up with his back against a couch, wearing a "You Can't STOP me" t-shirt.)

Randy Orton: Edge and I, we've had our past... and I still feel the same way on a business stand point with him, a professional thought... I don't like you. I am probably the ONLY one in the WWEF who knows more about the crap Edge tries to pull or do in a match, behind the curtain and more. The so called Rated R Superstar has walked through this company like it is NOTHING, only to become a 5 time World Heavyweight Champion, enough to make some guys just exit the ring and never come back... but for me...

(He points to himself, directly at his chest as he continues...)

Randy Orton: For me, there is no turning back... I've got another great opportunity and I can't let it go to waste. Edge you may have my number in the past, but your number is slowly starting to fade and John Cena... well John Cena better watch what he says or tries to do on Raw, because I WILL have no problem putting the Fruity Pebbles away... and I don't mind walking away on Raw the winner of the three way match and the NEXT WWEF Champion!

(Randy stands up and looks intense, he is definitely ready for the return of WWE Franchise on the USA network.)
