With a nod from the Captain LCdr. Ross rose. "We need to break up into two groups. One that is going to go to the Enterprise and help them with the first meeting of Q. The other group, led by me, is going to get Picard to go Starfleet."

"I could assign away teams, but I prefer to hear your preferences. If you'd rather be in either team, please say so now."

OOC: Just so I have this right - the teams are going back to different timeframes, right? One to the Q incident, one to the point where Picard should've joined Starfleet?

Kirat listened intently to Captain Rezit's briefing, periodically tapping at his PADD every few moments to record the information. He approved of the division of the mission into two separate directives - one to ensure that their attempts to restore the proper timeline wasn't foiled by the omnipotent Q, and another to coax Picard back onto the right course. "As Temporal Officer, my expertise will be useful in this assignment," the Cardassian said softly. "I defer to your judgement, Captain, as to which team I shall be delegated to."

ooc: Yup. and we could use you in "new guy." :)

BIC: He nodded. He could see him doing well in both aspects of the mission. "Anyone else?" he looked around.

LCdr. Ross watched as Captain Rezit spoke to the rest of the senior staff. She looked back at the PADD of information that her father had sent her. Why did he always have to meddle into her business?

He nodded, making the mental note and looking around the room.

When no one else answered, he nodded.

"Ok, then let's go."

ooc: Does anyone want any IC time before we launch? Or just jump straight into it?
