ooc: I apologize for the delay in getting this update up. There's a little glitch in the Voyager that I have to speak to LG about that kept me from posting.

BIC: The Captain of the Enterprise in this time-line was Cpt. Jack Crusher. Apparently he hadn't died in this timeline. His wife and son were also aboard, while Cdr. Riker (still 1st Officer) and Counselor Troi were on Deneb IV, the planet of Farpoint station. In fact, that's where the ship was heading now... or so they thought.

F.T.S. Atlanta

Commander Jones looked at Ross. "Where would you like to start?" he asked.

NPC: Erica Ross

"We've decided to start when he first applies. We think that's when this, whoever it was, interfered." She gave him a PADD with coordinates on it. He nodded.

"Timeframe: Stardate 9459.3806. Alpha Quadrant. Spacial Grid 001 by 001. Target: Labarre, France."

They flew through the fissure and transported down to the surface, approximately 3 miles away from the Picard's house, in the middle of the vineyard, dressed as civilians of that location and time.

ooc: Ok, whoever's in that team should feel free to post now. I'll be NPC'ing for Ross while she's gone, and as needed. It's now open to both teams. Have fun :)

Captain: This is almost amusing! My tricorder is almost overwhelmed with quaint, old fashioned, RADIO WAVES. Andorr abandoned that technology almost 300 standard years ago. It caused too much interference with computing and transport devices. Though of no consequence here, I still thought it noteworthy.

Rezit looked up and checked his tricorder. Sure enough, the Comm system was utilizing high-range EM bands for internal communications, although he knew that they also had sub-space transmitters. He smiled, throwing mirth into his voice.

:comm: Should be easy to monitor, then, eh? :comm:

David and the others beamed down to a dirt road. David looked around and then said nervously to the others "What do we do when we see Picard?" It was his first mission a timeship so he was nervous that he would contaminate the timeline

Ginger absently smoothed the pleats in the summer dress that ended just above her knees. She felt very uncomfortable in such feminine attire, and couldn't recall the last time she wore such an affair. She was much more comfortable in her Starfleet-issued uniform, and like David, this was her first mission with the Atlanta crew.

Still, she was an officer, and a member of security. She took in the beautiful view, but also scanned the area for any potential trouble, her phaser secured in the canvas bag she wore over her shoulder.

James slipped into a 24th Century starfleet uniform science division. It was strange to be in such a primitive style uniform like some of the other crew members it was his first mission on the time ship and the last thing he needed to do was to screw the time line up.

Whilst the other members of the away team had simply donned different outfits to mask their lack of temporal belonging, Kirat's status as a Cardassian had forced a more dramatic change; he had requested an appearance-altering procedure from Doctor Creed, who had obliged. A simple, reversible genetic resequencing had disguised his biosignature from any prying scanning equipment, while his promninent alien features had been suppressed and softened so as notto stand out. A final chemical had take his skin from its usual pallid hue to a vibrant pink.

With that, he was human. Or at least, he seemed to be.

A Cardassian wandering around Earth at this point in history would hardly be orthodox, after all.

Adjusting his loose-fitting robes, he bit back a reprimand at Cohen's nervousness. "No need to be so skittish, Lieutenant. Simply follow mine and Commander Ross' lead." He glanced to Ross. "I suggest we handle this tactfully. Picard's brother was notoriously against his Starfleet career, so it may be a tentative subject."

Certainly Sir, I have already filtered the EM emissions from my tricorder, but it has been set to notify if there is any form of system intended to identify and report on intruders. Even planetside, there are inumerable such systems. The team on the surface should be aware of such systems and should cloak accordingly.
