Commander Quincy Jones

ooc: This is a continuation from my quarters here: http://s1.zetaboards.com/FTSAtlanta/topic/187312/

Commander Jones walked into the Messhall. He looked around searching for the Captain. He spotted the Captain sitting at a table.
"Sir, permission to join you? I have an issue we need to discuss."

After apologizing to the crewman for crashing into him, Ross continued her walk to the messhall, stopping right at the doorway. She could see the captain and first officer talking quietly in the corner, and she was petty sure she knew what they were talking about. Turning around, Ross was ready to allow her stomach to continue growling when she froze. It wasn't like her to run from a problem. She was going to walk right in, get a meal, and eat it. So what if Jones was telling the captain about her request, she wasn't running.

"Commander Ross. Begging your pardon for intterupting your meal. I will return to my table in a moment. I have a need to discuss with you when you are at leisure and may speak freely. It is a question about temporal mechanical relationships and subspace/hyperspace communications. Since you are already well versed in temporal mechanics and I in communications, I wish to learn what correlation we can establish so that sub/hyperspace communications may be enhanced. I have some theories that Andorr dismissed without comment. Again, my apology for interrupting your meal." (Andori were never famous for being discretionary nor tactful.)

Erica looked up, annoyed. "Its not really a good time, right now. Today is the anniversary of my mother's death." She stopped, shocked that she had told him that.
