Hi, I am having a problem with clearing a disk to recreate a RAID1. Installed Server 2016 from a USB and have two SSD's installed. Installed OS to disk 0. both disks showed basic (not dynamic). I right clicked the volume and added the mirror to disk 1. Got the "must change disks to Dynamic" pop up, clicked on it and the mirror failed with a sector size error. Long story short, while troubleshooting and finally putting disk in offline status I noticed a missing dynamic disk attached to disk1. It was the now removed thumb drive. Used diskpart and the GUI to attempt to break, clean, remove and am unable to figure it out. When I get to "initialize" it want to report the missing paired drive again. How do I reset disk 1 to forget it's association and repair with disk 0. Please Help. Thanks, for more you can check: References: https://www.cnet.com/forums Corporate Motion Graphics animation |
